Chapter 4: The Party:

Betty's POV:

We decorated everything with a British style.

"It's almost time for the party," says Lalita, "Your parents, my parents, my brother, my sister-in-law, and my niece are here."

"Yeah, and where's the rest of my clan," I asked, "Howard, you sent the invites, right?"

"Oh yeah," says Howard, "I used the invitation software I found in the dollar bin at Sloppy Floppy's. See?"

I then took a look. The time is right, the date is right, but... "The year says 2052," I said, "no wonder no one's here yet!"

"No wonder it was a dollar," says Howard.

Phil's POV:

Lil was walking back and forth. "We gots to do all the stuff we need to do to be twinnier," says Lil.

"Why," I asked.

"So, we can be perfect twins too!"

"Why?"

"No, Philip, you're upposed to agree with me!"

"Why?"

"'CAUSE I SAID SO!"

"Wh-" I then stopped.

"Okay," says Lil, "first, we have to wear prettiful clothes that aren't the same. We then took a look, and all our clothes are the same.

. . .

We're wearing sheets and curtains. "We looks good," says Lil, "now, all we have to do is finish what each other says and share stuff and not fight and stay clean." I then laughed, but I realized she meant it.

Betty's POV:

Me, my Dad, and My Mom were setting things up.

"Is everything all right, Betty," asks my Dad.

"Well, Howard didn't think about looking at the year and they won't be coming for 41 years," I said.

"That is bad," says my Mom.

"There are two ways of doing it," says my Father-in-law, "Either tell the truth or lie."

"I personally think that telling the truth is better than lying," says my Mother-in-law.

"We're ready for the party," says Winnie, "I can'' woi' to mee' the res' of my american family. When are they arriving?"

I then decided use one of the choices that my Father-in-law gave me, lie. I saw our friends and that's what I'm going to use.

. . .

"Okay, listen up! You're my cousins Fred and Mary from Beduka! You're Uncle Roy, Aunt Fritzy, and Carl from Pekoina, Brother Ned and wife Nilly from Poidonk, and Gramps and Nana from Pargipsy! Got it? Lou, what's with the basket?"

"Archangel, Easter Bunny, broken magic basket, you know how it is," says Lou.

I just stared at him. "Okay, smile and march!"

Phil's POV:

We came down and met with Smedley and Hedley as they were getting to know our friends.

"So nice to see..." Lil began.

I had to guess what she was going to say. "The chair?"

Buchanan's POV:

Whit luck! lou pickles haes sat th' basket oan th' buffet buird! noo, ah kin juist grab it 'n'... "OW!" Is this a bear trap? How come wid thay pat a bear trap oan th' buffet buird? Whit's yin o' they annoying brats reach fur th' fairn? Whit? Wur thay worried a bear micht break in 'n' tak' some snacks? Thae fowk watch tae mony cartoons. "Curse ye, Crakin' Doggie!"

Phil's POV:

"So, wha' is your queen like," asks Hedley.

"We don't gots one," says Tommy.

Then Angelica came, wearing her dress and crown.

"We are pleased to mee' the Queen of America," says Smedley and Hedley.

"Queen of America," asks Angelica, "I could use this."

Lil and I got into an argument about this dumb stuff we're wearing. "I'd rather play in the mud," I said.

"Ewe," says Smedley and Hedley.

Lil looked like she wasn't sure. "Ewe," says Lil.

Everyone was shocked.

"The world is going to end," says Dil, "must keep all our snacks safe!" Dil then runs and grabs some snacks and runs.

"Lil, would you like to be our twin," asks Hedley.

"Fine," says Lil, "Phil, you and I aren't twins anymore!"

To Be Continued

In the next chapter, Angelica has Smedley and Hedley steal a cake.
