Faolan and Mu Die stood off to the side as the rabbit beast man showed the other males where they could build. When he turned to motion them to follow, it came out that they were not part of the family that would live in the house. This then lead to the rabbits finding out that Chiaki and her offspring were also in the village. Many long ears perked up and turned to follow the moving group.
The soft tan rabbit male rubbed his chin, larger front teeth nibbling at his bottom lip. "A house with seven mates and three litters, huh? That will need-" He began walking around the flat space for the new home. He looked over at the two other males. "Are you courting the female?"
One 'yes' and one 'no' were the replies. The tan ears twitched and he nodded. He placed down a brick where he was standing, then made his way around, placing three more. This marked the boundary of the size of home he figured would be required. "Use stone to make the floor, use the bricks to make the walls." He squatted down, the white tail sticking out of his loose pants twitched.
"This is a much larger space than the home we had in the city of beasts." Qianhuang commented.
"All homes are only one floor here." The rabbit replied. "We don't have enough stone to make strong multi-level buildings." He stood. "I'm going back to the brick yard to continue working, if you need me ask around there for Jiha." He waved Faolan and Mu Dai to follow him. "You two can sleep in a bachelor house with some of our villages own."

Chiaki found it cute that some of the rabbit children held no fear of Curtis and followed at her heels wanting to see the tiger cubs wherever she went. Others sat themselves on Kimba's back. She found the rest of her family in short order, laying the foundation for a house.
In the quickly proceeding days, walls went up. With clay brick arched door and window frames, rooms being mapped out as they worked. A group of bunnies always awaited her when she cam out of the increasingly finished building each morning, ready to play with the roughly same sized cubs.
The temperature dropped steadily for a while until it settled into a mild Autumn, rain happening randomly throughout the day. The stone and brick house went up faster than she believed it could, but with all the helping hands soon the only thing remaining was a roof. It was impressive that the firing made the clay of the bricks pretty water resistant. She'd spent the better part of an afternoon watching the rabbit villagers making the bricks. It seems like a never ending cycle, with the ready piled bricks dwindling as fast as they could be made. It wasn't just her mates that collected large amounts from the brick yard, it seemed like many houses were getting added onto.
The Little Leaf rabbits were also starting the harvest of the late maturing foods from their large gardens. Unlike in the Dark Ice Mustang village, there were no market stalls on the streets at all. Everyone was either in the fields or watching the children. This seemed to include her own cubs, who were allowed free reign with their bunny friends. She had even spotted Copper tentatively peaking out of the fur of Kimba. It made her heart race, fearing for her second child. He was either unnoticed or simply accepted, she dare not draw attention to him and find out.
"The rabbit, Sejun, says we'll have to get wood for the roof either from the fruit orchard or out on the plains left by early flooding." Chiaki jumped at Qianhuang's voice. She'd been thinking deeply and watching their children play.
Getting over the sudden surprise Chiaki nodded. "Okay, Key, who's going?" She knew this was probably the reason he'd come to tell her.
"Bai Di, Skye, Jiu Ruan, Shuu and myself." He responded. This meant that Curtis and Winston were staying to protect her and the children. "Is there anything outside the village you want us to bring you?"
"Not really," Chiaki shook her head, "Just focus on getting what is needed to finish the house."
"Alright." Qianhuang said with a nod. "We'll come back as quickly as we can." He leaned down and gave her deep kiss, showing how he'd miss her during the time. Chiaki chuckled into the kiss. One track minded males. She loved them all so much.

It seemed it wasn't only her own mates that were worked up, in just the next day after they went wood collecting she found many of the rabbit village females actively engaged in many different levels new of mate seeking. From one female kicking a too pushy suitor in the face, to accidentally finding a pair having sex in a bush. The rabbit village was entering the wonderful season of love and rain.
Chiaki blinked at the four foot tall tan and white rabbit in-front of her. He bowed deeply. "I- I-" He stuttered. Then twitched his ears and did a back-flip, transforming from large rabbit to naked humanoid male in the process. He landed on his feet lightly, his tan and white hair only reaching his chin. Brown eyes looked at her hopefully. One-two-three- he suddenly transformed back into a rabbit form.
Around them, peels of laughter rang out from other rabbits. Then a larger rabbit, this one nearly five foot tall called out. "Rai, you can't even hold your transformation long enough to talk to her!" More laughter. The rabbit, Rai, thumped his back foot in anger, and embarrassment.
Apparently she was the the talk of the village, not just with the adults, but the young males who were on the verge of adulthood. And she was now the best person to try confessing to. This had happened about four times now. She'd watched a female of the tribe deal with this, so she employed the same reply.
She put a hand on the rabbit's shoulder. "In another year you might turn my head." She said kindly.
Rai nodded. Maybe by next breeding season he would be able to hold his transformation for the whole night and day that would symbolize he was an adult. If you couldn't stay transformed while you slept, you were too weak to even think about taking a mate. His friends good nature came into play as the other young males circled around him and offered their own words of encouragement to the almost-adult rabbit male.
Chiaki bowed out, excusing herself from the group who gave her a few waves. The young male rabbits were not very pushy, females of the village often took more mates than most other females and it showed in the less pushy courting rituals of the village. Even the adult males were (mostly) pretty laid back most of the year, with mating season bringing out the most feisty of their habits.
"Mama! Mama! Look what I can do!" Kimba called as he rushed his mother. The cub jumped towards her... transforming as he did! Kimba landed in his mothers arms, large blue eyes alight with joy. She was so surprised she couldn't even get her arms to work. However she felt his weight suddenly begin to raise. He dropped to the ground, landing in lion form. "Aw, I turned back again." He pouted.
The rabbits around them began to congratulate him on his transformation attempt. It had only lasted a single second or two, but it was a great first try. "Look at the kit!" Called one. "Nice try!" Called another. Chiaki looked down at her son wide eyed. He was a baby! How could he have even attempted such a feat?! But the glimpse she'd had, the arms and face... were of a child of about seven.
