At the precinct, within the central questioning chamber, Jett remains shackled to the table where he is seated. Officer Garcia enters holding a tablet and a dossier, taking a seat opposite him. "You are ensnared in a web of trouble. The evidence is irrefutable. I possess images of Logan's battered visage and a scan revealing his dislocated shoulder! This transpired because you enlisted the aid of three adolescents to perpetrate this act. The very individuals I informed you are currently detained here! What I seek to understand is the motive! Why did you orchestrate such harm upon Logan that you required additional assistance to carry it out?! He is not your adversary! Your relentless taunting of him on a daily basis is utterly reprehensible! Provide me with explanations this instant!" he declares.

Jett's icy words sliced through the room, carrying with them a venomous disdain for Logan. "His endless chatter about the solar eclipse deserves no audience from me. He simply isn't worthy of witnessing such a celestial event. His very existence is a blight on humanity, not meant to be."

Officer Garcia's voice cut through the tension like a knife. "Your lack of compassion for him is truly disturbing. Your animosity has spiraled out of control, causing him serious harm. You will be held accountable for your actions, including covering his medical expenses during his treatment."

Jett's immediate refusal was met with a stern warning from Officer Garcia. "You will comply or face the consequences. Remember, you are a 16-year-old, not a petulant child. It's time to take responsibility for your actions."

"Logan is a total failure!" Jett declares.

"He's not! You're not going to come out on top in this predicament you've found yourself in! Why can't you grasp the magnitude of the trouble you've brought upon both him and yourself?!" Officer Garcia retorts.

A man in a sharp suit strides into the room. "I'm Jett Stentson's legal representation. What proof do you have against my client to incriminate him as you allege?"

"We have a wealth of evidence that will dismantle any defense you put forth for him," Officer Garcia asserts.

"How so?" Jett's attorney inquires. "Was my client present at the crime scene?"

"No, but the teenagers my team and I arrested confessed that he orchestrated the entire attack on Logan. He directed them on how to locate and harm him. He has shown no compassion or regret during the time I've been interacting with him. He appears quite culpable to me," Officer Garcia explains. "Furthermore, he attempted to flee when I and my team tried to apprehend him, causing a significant disturbance by pushing people aside, including a young girl I know personally."

"Just because he harmed a child, are you really going to use your personal feelings about him to determine his guilt?" Jett's lawyer questions.

"He has a history of being a tormentor. My son and his friends are constantly bullied by him. He lacks discipline and is incredibly spoiled," Officer Garcia explains. "Are you just going to excuse his actions? Are you condoning his bad behavior?"

"What he did was unforgivable, but let's not forget he wasn't even present at the scene of the crime. How can we be sure that those boys you interviewed, who are claiming Jett instructed them to attack Logan, aren't just making up stories to steer us away from the truth?" Jett's lawyer counters. "Remember, they are just teenagers and may not always be truthful."

"I did approach them in a unique way to get them to confess, and it worked," Officer Garcia responds.

"Tell me, what is my client being accused of?" Jett's lawyer inquires.

"Numerous offenses, enough to be tried as an adult. He's been extremely uncooperative throughout this ordeal. If he wants to act like a grown-up, then he should face the consequences accordingly. I have the charges right here." Officer Garcia states, pushing the list across the table.

After reviewing it, Jett's lawyer sighs. "I have a suggestion. If you want him to learn his lesson, community service may be the best course of action."

"Absolutely not. Do you not realize that Logan is in the hospital because of Jett's actions? He must be held responsible, and the only way to do that is by putting him in jail," Officer Garcia declares.

Jett declares, "I'm not cut out for prison."

Officer Garcia retorts, "That's not up to you. It's up to the judge. Logan's parents are preparing to sue you for orchestrating that brutal attack. Do you truly believe they will simply pardon your actions and move on? What you did is absolutely abhorrent and repulsive!"

Jett replies, "You're not perfect either."

Officer Garcia scowls at his impudent and conceited comeback.

"Jett, it would be in your best interests to remain silent," advises Jett's lawyer. "Don't make me regret representing you in court. This is a grave matter. Continuing to speak will only worsen your situation."

Jett reluctantly obeys and remains silent.

Officer Garcia advises, "You'll need to educate him on appropriate courtroom conduct because his current behavior, as you just saw, will not make a good impression on the judge or jury."

Jett's lawyer responds, "You don't need to tell me how to do my job."

"I'm not. I'm just warning you that dealing with your client's arrogance as a teenager will give you a headache before his trial even begins," Officer Garcia explains. "Do you have children?"

"Yes, but my kids are in college," Jett's lawyer says. "I have a son named Michael and a daughter named Ashley."

"Were they difficult as teenagers?" Officer Garcia asks.

"Yes, they were very challenging," Jett's lawyer admits.

"So, if one of them had committed a similar crime to Jett's, would you think community service is a fair punishment? Or if they were the victims, would you be okay with the attacker getting the lightest sentence possible?" Officer Garcia questions.

"I would not be okay with that at all," Jett's lawyer states.

"Then think about how Logan's parents will feel when I tell them that your initial suggestion for Jett's punishment is community service. They are already stressed with Logan in the hospital. They will be angry, thinking you don't care about what happened to Logan and support Jett's terrible actions," Officer Garcia warns.

"I do not support his behavior in any way. I would never allow my children to act as cruelly as him," Jett's lawyer clarifies.

"You can explain all of that to Logan's parents and lawyer in court," Officer Garcia concludes.

Version 1:

As Jett is thrown into the holding cell, he can't help but unleash his anger on Brandon, Ryan, and Oscar. "You three betrayed me! It was your only job, and you couldn't even do that right! Now we're all going to end up behind bars! I'll be treated like an adult because of you! You should've never let yourselves get caught!" Jett's frustration fills the air.

Officer Garcia intervenes, trying to diffuse the tension. "Stop it! Don't put the blame solely on them!" he asserts. "Yes, they played a part, but this mess is your doing too! All of you need to take a hard look at your actions! What you've done is unimaginable and completely unacceptable!"

With that, Officer Garcia walks away, leaving the police station behind. He heads towards the Palm Woods, seeking solace in Apartment 2J. As he steps inside, Carlos greets him with a warm and comforting embrace.

"Papi, what happened after you questioned Jett? Did he deceive you about what he did to Logan?" Carlos inquires, concern etched on his face.

Jett spoke the truth." Officer Garcia says.

"Really?" Kendall inquires.

"That's impossible. He lies about everything. He's only honest when it benefits him and only him." James states.

"What was his ridiculous reasoning behind planning that attack on Logan?" Carlos questions.

Officer Garcia provides an explanation.

Carlos, James, and Kendall become even angrier as they hear how Jett shows no remorse for his actions.

"That's diabolical! Logan wants to see that solar eclipse more than anything and anyone at school, and Jett was determined to make sure that he didn't get to do it! We'll have to prove him wrong!" Carlos declares.

"Remember how I said we'll think of a way to help Logan see the solar eclipse from the hospital? I've got the perfect solution." Kendall reveals.

"What is it?" James asks.

"The whole class can come and see it with him. They'll come to the hospital, that way we're all still participating in the assignment of having to watch, and he'll be happy that we're all there with him." Kendall suggests.

"Fantastic idea, Kendall." Officer Garcia commends.

"Thanks." Kendall responds.

"You're welcome. How's Katie? Is she okay from being shoved down and getting a scraped knee by Jett earlier?" Officer Garcia inquires.

"She's okay and doing much better. She's been on the swirly slide deck this whole time." Kendall informs.

"She must definitely feel better enough to have climbed up there." Officer Garcia remarks.

"She isn't going to let a scraped knee stop her from going up there. It's her favorite spot in the entire apartment." James adds.

"Mine too." Carlos chimes in.

"We know, buddy." Kendall acknowledges.

Officer Garcia says, "Surprising Logan tomorrow will surely shine a light on his spirit, especially as he's sadly stuck in the hospital. He's probably fretting about missing the mesmerizing solar eclipse."

Carlos declares, "Tomorrow, we'll transform him into the most jubilant kid on the planet."

Officer Garcia remarks, "He's truly blessed to have companions like you three."

Carlos responds, "We're beyond fortunate to have him, Papi."
