Author's Note: WHAT IS UP MUCKAAACHUNGAAAAS!? IT'S TRAVEZTY! And I know that this chapter is coming out right after I posted the Last Chapter, but if I may be honest I am just having such a fun time with this story that I honestly can't stop writing for the life of me! Honestly, it's like an adrenaline rush for me actually coming up with all these ideas after looking up all of what I have about the Venom Universe, from Human/Klyntar Hybrids, the Guardians of the Cosmos, the works! However, I now need to slow down and pace myself a bit, so I'm going to be taking a week off after posting this to recover from this writing spree before I continue on to chapter 3.
In any case, I want your opinion on something for a possible MHA Project in the Future, and I want all of your opinions, so, if you could, please leave your votes in reviews for which one you like most. So here are the possible projects I would like to do in the future or as a side-project to this one:
Option A: Heroes of the Realm
Fandoms: My Hero Academia x D&D
Plot: In the Middle of the Alderaan Sea, there is an Island Nation where a Lich King once ruled, opposed only by the line of warriors who wielded the legendary sword known as the One For All… Now the current wielder of the legendary blade is seeking a new heir to inherit his power, and he happens upon a young man who seeks to protect the innocent, and proves that as long as you believe in yourself, anyone can be a Hero!
Context: Okay so I won't hide it, ever since I saw the 3rd Ending of MHA "Datte Atashi no Hero" on Youtube, I've been in love with the concept of doing a D&D x MHA Story set inside that ending's world! Though I've never gotten it off the ground for a couple of reasons, which I won't explain here. Suffice it to say though, I will be creating my own Party of 5, not using the same ones from the ending cuz F*CK YOU BAKUGOU! However, I will spoil the party for this one just so you guys have an idea of what I'm doing:
Mikumo Akatani: Custom Lineage, Hexblade Warlock, Folk Hero
Mei Hatsume: Fairy, Artificer, Clan Crafter (Tinkerer)
Mina Ashido: Tiefling (Variant/Feral), Monk, Entertainer (Dancer)
Toru Hagakure: Changeling, Rogue, Spy
Ochako Uraraka: Human (Variant), Wizard, Guild Artisan (Stonemason)

Option B: Devil Shall Cry
Fandoms: My Hero Academia x Devil May Cry x Bayonetta
Plot: The Demons, once a plague upon this world, have long since formed a peace treaty with humanity, one where the demons leave humanity in peace and those capable of human forms and mercy are banished to the human world, and, in exchange, all convicts sentenced to death by the courts are handed sacrificed to the demons. Now, hundreds of years later, a pair of Half-Demons named Mikumo and Izuku, seeking to become a Hero, must now enter a world where the peace that has stood for over 200 years is about to shatter. Will he be able to help maintain it, or will Humanity be invaded once more and devoured.
Context: Now, I've always been a fan of the Devil May Cry games, really I have! I've also been something of a Fan of the Bayonetta Games, though I never played them myself. In any case, I thought this might be a good way to do something for Mikumo and Izuku, making them twins in a similar way to the Sons of Sparda, Dante and Vergil, only with Mikumo, the older brother, not desiring power to compensate for loss, but to protect his friends and loved ones by any means necessary, having learned of the Tragedy of the Elder Son of Sparda. Also Mikumo and Izuku will be amongst a few devils and half-devils capable of manifesting their own Devil Arms while alive, like Dante and Sparda, on top of having their own quirks. Also, for a bit of a Bayonetta-like twist, Mikumo and Izuku are capable of forming binding Magical Contracts with others, granting them a portion of their own power in exchange for something. Unlike normal demons however, they will be fair and whatever they ask for will, in their minds, be of equal value to what is given.

Context: Okay, I have a confession to make, but this is indeed a Self-Insert Story for me, and honestly, I tried this once before, and it didn't work simply because I was not in my right mind at the time and wanted to escape reality for a bit. However, now I'm in a sound state of mind and I want to try this again. However, if you guys want to see this story, I have two ideas of how I could do this if you guys vote for this and are willing to lend me a small hand:
Idea 1: I directly insert myself into this world as a Quirked Individual, directly translating my name into a quirk, which, hopefully, isn't OP.
Idea 2: I introduce my Anime-Self, basically me with the Japanese Version (Wataru Mikomachi) of my name, and I actually use a quirk that reflects the Kanji Translation of my name that I like best!

Chapter 2:
UA High School, the Pinnacle of Hero Society's Academias for raising the next generation of heroes, it is here that many great heroes started their careers, and many more who tried and failed. Mikumo stands before the great building as he looks up at the school, nervous about the coming examinations. He has been training for months now to get himself back into shape for this moment… Now, he was standing here, trying to calm his nerves as he prepared to enter… Only for him to sense hate and rage behind him as Katsuki Bakugou walks over. The two give each other powerful looks that, if they had the powers to do so, would kill each other with one glance, but Bakugou simply walks past Mikumo, clicking his teeth as he does so. He shakes his head as he gets ready to turn around and enter the building, only for one of his feet to hook around the other, and he begins to fall, noticing the ground coming, Mikumo gets ready to reach out before he feels somebody pulling on his backpack. "Whoa there! I gotcha!" A girl's voice says, in which Mikumo turns his head to the side and recognizes a very familiar shade of pink skin as he is pulled up from his fall. "You okay?"
"Yeah, thanks for that…" Mikumo says, straightening his uniform, turning to the girl to recognize the golden eyes with black scleras. "You…" Mikumo looks into her eyes, "Have such beautiful golden eyes…"
"Uh-" The Girl says, blushing as she looks at Mikumo.
"Oh sorry!" Mikumo says, rubbing the back of his head. "You just look like somebody I met before…"
"Did she have the same eyes that I did?" The woman asks, poking him in the ribs with her elbow.
"Yes, you could say that!" Mikumo says, blushing as he scratches his cheek. "Anyway, it's nice to meet you, good luck today!"
"Thanks, you too!" The girl says, waving as she walks off.
'I…' Mikumo says, smiling as he blushes, 'I just talked to a girl!'
"Congratulations, Mikumo…" A voice says in Mikumo's head, to which Mikumo turns around, hearing that voice in his ear, looking around.
"Who…?" Mikumo asks, but then shakes his head and rushes off to go to the First of the Exams… However, remembering what his mother told him, when he sits down, he puts in a set of earplugs to muffle out the sound of the current speaker.
"WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE MAIN EVENT OF THE YEAR!" Present Mic says, "EVERYBODY SAY "HEEEEEEY"!" Present Mic then listens for everyone, meanwhile, for his part, Mikumo's Klyntar Physiology is screaming from the pain of the Volume of Present Mic's Voice…
'I'm so glad I listened to mom!' Mikumo thinks, glad the ear plugs are muffling most of the sound, just enough for him to understand what is being said, but not enough for it to overload his senses. Had he been a full-blown Klyntar, or had his Spider Protector on, this would've hurt so much more, not to mention it would be tearing him or his suit apart at the seams.
"WELL DESPITE YOUR LACKLUSTER RESPONSE, I GOT SHIVERS GOING DOWN MY SPINE! I'M GONNA GIVE Y'ALL THE LOWDOWN ABOUT HOW THINGS ARE GOING TO GO DOWN! YEEEAAAAH!" Present Mic calls out. "NOW EVERYONE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO WHAT I'M DROPPING, BECAUSE I'M ONLY GOING TO SAY THIS ONCE! FIRST YOU LOT WILL BE GOING THROUGH A WRITTEN EXAM, NAMELY TO TEST YOUR KNOWLEDGE! THIS WILL DETERMINE WHETHER YOU GET INTO UA HIGH SCHOOL IN GENERAL! ANYONE WHO GETS LESS THAN A SET SCORE ON THEIR EXAMS, THIS YEAR THE BAR BEING SET AT 75/100 OR HIGHER, WILL BE RESPECTFULLY DECLINED!"
"AFTER A 30 MINUTE LUNCH BREAK, YOU WILL ALL BE TESTING YOUR METTLE IN TEN MINUTE TRIAL BY FIRE IN OUR CITY DISTRICT REPLICAS! EACH OF YOU IS ASSIGNED A DIFFERENT TRAINING AREA WHICH YOU WILL ALL BE TESTED IN! HOWEVER, ONLY THE TOP 14 STUDENTS FROM THIS EXAM AND THE TOP 6 FROM THE RECOMMENDATION EXAMS WILL BE ABLE TO GET INTO THE HERO COURSE! HOWEVER, IN ORDER TO INCREASE YOUR CHANCES, YOU ARE ALLOWED TO TAKE IN ANY EQUIPMENT YOU LIKE, BUT ONLY IF IT IS VERIFIED THAT IT WILL WORK WITH OR IS NEEDED TO USE YOUR QUIRK! WE ALSO HAVE HIDDEN ITEMS THROUGHOUT THE CITIES TO GIVE YOU A BOOST IF YOU CAN FIND THEM!"
"NOW, TO GO OVER THE SPECIFICS OF THE PRACTICAL EXAM, IN THE CITIES YOU WILL BE FIGHTING IN, THERE WILL BE A NUMBER OF ROBOTS THAT WILL REPRESENT THE VILLAINS IN THIS SITUATION! THEY WILL BE SCATTERED THROUGHOUT THE BATTLEFIELD. THERE ARE THREE DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF "VILLAIN BOTS" FOR YOU TO TAKE OUT, EACH WITH THEIR OWN POINT VALUES TO INCREASE YOUR SCORES, BUT THEIR POINT VALUES WILL BE REFLECTED IN THEIR ARMOR AND ARMAMENTS! USING YOUR QUIRKS, YOU ARE TASKED WITH DISPATCHING THESE VILLAINS AND RACKING UP AS HIGH A SCORE AS YOU CAN BEFORE TIME RUNS OUT!"
"ALSO, DON'T THINK OF TRYING TO PULL ANY SORT OF ANTIHERO BULLSHIT OUT ON THE BATTLEFIELD, WE GOT CAMERAS EVERYWHERE TO MONITOR BOTH YOUR PROGRESS AND TO MANIPULATE THE BATTLEFIELD TO SIMULATE REAL LIFE SITUATIONS, SUCH AS AMBUSHES, SUDDEN VILLAINS APPEARING, OR SETTING OFF BOOBY TRAPS THAT THE "VILLAINS" HAD SET UP AHEAD OF TIME!" Present Mic explains, "IF YOU INTENTIONALLY HARM OR SABOTAGE ONE OF YOUR FELLOW EXAMINEES, YOU WILL BE CAUGHT, AND YOU WILL BE IMMEDIATELY REMOVED FROM THE RUNNING OF JOINING THE HERO COURSE! UNDERSTAND!? GOOD!"
'Well, thankfully, I don't intend on doing something like that…' Mikumo thinks, glancing over at Katsuki, his eyes filled with anger. 'I won't sink to his level…'
"EXCUSE ME!" A voice calls out, and everyone looks to the source of that voice, revealing a rather straight-laced young man with glasses. "THIS HANDOUT CLEARLY STATES THAT THERE ARE FOUR TYPES OF VILLAINS THAT WE WILL BE FACING! AN ERROR SUCH AS THIS IS AN EMBARRASSMENT FOR A TOP-TIER SCHOOL LIKE UA! THE REASON WE ARE EVEN HERE IS TO BECOME HEROES AND REQUIRE GUIDANCE IN WHICH TO ACHIEVE THAT GOAL!" He then turns over "AND YOU! WOULD YOU PLEASE SHUT YOUR MOUTH!? YOUR MUTTERING IS DISTRACTING EVERYONE! THIS ISN'T SOME PLEASURE WALK INTO UA!"
'What is this asshole talking about? I haven't said a damn thing!' Mikumo thinks, in which he glares at the examinee.
"WHAT FOUL LANGUAGE!"
"WHOA! HOLD IT RIGHT THERE EXAMINEE 7111! EXAMINE 1394 HASN'T SAID A THING THROUGHOUT THIS ENTIRE EXPLANATION! SUCH HOSTILITY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!" Present Mic says, in which the student looks at Present Mic incredulously.
"You mean you can't hear him saying anything!?"
"UNLESS YOU GOT SOME SORT OF TELEPATHY QUIRK, EXAMINEE 7111, THEN I SUGGEST YOU SIT DOWN AND LEAVE YOUR FELLOW EXAMINEE ALONE. BULLYING IS HORRENDOUS AND NOT TOLERATED IN UA AT ALL!" Present Mic Chastises the examinee. "BUT TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, VILLAIN TYPE FOUR IS CONSIDERED A TYPE OF "HAZARD". NOW, HAS ANYONE HERE PLAYED ANY OF THE GAMES IN THE MARIO FRANCHISE?"
"I have, sir!" Mikumo says, raising his hand. "It's actually a really great series of video games!"
"ALRIGHT THEN, EXAMINE 1349, TELL US! WHAT ARE THE "THWOMPS"?"
"The Thwomps are a block-shaped enemy covered in spikes that, no matter how hard one tries, the players can't kill them in the game, and if you get anywhere near them they- OH MY GOD!" Mikumo shouts, that last part being in perfect english.
"THAT'S RIGHT! THESE "HAZARD" BOTS ARE BASICALLY THIS EXAM'S VERSION OF THE THWOMPS, WHEN THEY GET CROWDED, THEY WILL IMMEDIATELY BEGIN ATTACKING THE LARGEST AND CLOSEST GROUP TO THEM! ONLY THOSE WITH SUPER POWERFUL STRENGTH BASED QUIRKS CAN DEFEAT THEM. THEY WERE DESIGNED WITH THE HELP OF ALL MIGHT IN ORDER TO BE AS SUCH, AND ONLY SOMEBODY OF HIS CALIBER IS CAPABLE OF DESTROYING THEM. SO YOUR BEST BET IS, WHILE TAKING OUT THE VILLAIN BOTS, TO SCATTER AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND AVOID IT AS BEST AS YOU CAN!"
"Thank you very much for the explanation, and I apologize!" The Examinee says.
"ALRIGHT, SO THAT IS ENOUGH FROM ME FOR NOW! SO BEFORE WE BEGIN THE WRITTEN EXAM, ALLOW ME TO LEAVE YOU WITH A NUGGET OF WISDOM FROM ONE OF OUR SCHOOL'S PRECEPTS. AS WHAT WAS ONCE SAID BY NAPOLEON BONAPARTE: "A REAL HERO NEVER STOPS OVERCOMING THE MISFORTUNES OF LIFE"!" Present Mic says, "NOW LET'S GET CRACKING! I WISH YOU ALL GOOD FORTUNE IN THE TRIALS TO COME! PLUS ULTRA!"
The Written Exam, for Mikumo, was nothing all that special, thankfully he was always a studious person to begin with, so, long before the Exam even was called to an end, Mikumo walk down to the teacher and hands in his paper. "Whoa, that was rather fast!" Present Mic says, looking to see that there is about 45 minutes before the written exams ends, to which Mikumo nods. "Well I guess you can either wait here or go to the Cafeteria."
"I was actually planning on heading the cafeteria…" Mikumo says, "Also…" Mikumo takes out the earplugs, having forgotten to take them out. "Thank you for defending me during your presentation. I don't know how he heard what I was thinking…"
"Oh so you were unknowingly projecting your thoughts. That would explain it." Present Mic says, but then pats his head. "Anyway, go enjoy your break, young listener. You earned it!"
"Thank you!" Mikumo says, bowing before walking out of the door. Exiting the door, he sees the girl from earlier walking back to the door. "Oh hello…!"
"Oh hey!" She says, breathing hard. "How much time is left?"
"About 45 minutes!"
"Oh good! I have enough time left!" She says, smiling. "Thanks!" She rushes inside. Mikumo smiles as he goes to the cafeteria and finds a rather isolated spot and pulls something out of his bag, and he smirks as he licks his lips, a bag of chocolates. A reward from his mother that she set the condition that he could only indulge in if he managed to finish his written exam with time left on the clock. For Mikumo, this constituted the conditions and he opens it to reveal special chocolate brand that the R-Rated Hero, Midnight owned, known to the world as "Sweet Sins", which are shaped like the old Hershey's Brand chocolate kisses. He smiles as his teeth become sharp as his tongue extends, his eyes turning completely white as dark green veins flow out of the corners of his eyes, a predatory snarl flowing from his lips as he wraps his long prehensile tongue around the chocolate and pulls it in.
Immediately, as he starts chewing the most addicting source of PEA, he feels a rush of dopamine and serotonin, his inner klyntar gorging on the chemicals as he chews, his predatory smile never leaving him as he eats each individual chocolate one small piece at a time. Unfortunately, before he knows it, the chocolates are gone, leaving Mikumo with a rather saddened expression on his face. It was over before it even started… "Wow, who knew you were a bug fan of chocolate?" A female voice says, to which Mikumo jumps out of his seat, literally, with a yelp and launches himself to the ceiling, sticking to it. "Oops! Sorry, didn't mean to scare ya!"
"When did you get here?"
"A few minutes ago!" The pink skinned girl says, smiling. "Just finished my exam and so I thought I'd come here and scope out what there is to eat before anyone else. Only to notice you looking like you were in the middle of something perverted by eating that chocolate!" She smiles at him and stands up, "Ashido Mina!"
"Midoriya Mikumo…" Mikumo says, calming down. Mina's eyes then widen in shock!
"You're All Might and Arachne's kid!?" Mina asks, smiling. "Wow! Wait, why are you doing the regular exams? Shouldn't you be doing the Recommendation Exams?"
"My parents were against such favoritism from the start. I agreed with them, as I don't want any special treatment." Mikumo says, "In anycase, I have someone that I need to beat in this exam, and something to prove."
"Oh I see!" Mina says, smiling at him. "Well I am sure you'll do just fine!"
"With your confidence, I'm sure I will!" Mikumo says, "Besides, there isn't a guy who wouldn't mind a beautiful woman giving them a confidence boost." Mina's cheeks turn burgundy when he says that.
"Oh come off it! I mean I know I'm cute, but beautiful, that's a bit of a stretch!" Mina says, smiling.
"What are you talking about?" Mikumo asks, this beautiful golden eyes with black scleras, that pretty shade of pink skin, the hourglass figure with generous proportions, and floofy pink hair that I would like to take a nap in, and those adorable horns of yours all accentuate your beauty!" Mikumo says, smiling at her confidently.
"Oh stop it!" Mina says, smiling as she turns an even deeper shade of burgundy. "Though I do appreciate the compliments!" She smirks at him, as she sits down across from him. "You know, there is something familiar about you."
"I could say the same for you, Mina-san." Mikumo says. For the next ten minutes, they get to talking, sharing thoughts on their favorite musical bands, in which Mikumo prefers the Power Metal, Boss Fight Themes from his favorite games, favorite musical genres, and a few other things, in which Mina revealed to Mikumo she's one hell of a breakdancer, though in this cafeteria, she would probably break something or hurt herself if she tried anything. For Mikumo, he reveals he prefers actually doing parkour, having developed quite a hand for it. However, soon the other students begin to funnel in and the group gets some food to eat, thanks to Lunch Rush. The examinees are given pretty easy food, a bowl of American Chicken Adobo, with egg veggie and beef egg rolls, it was simple, but filling. Mikumo was actually getting a bit of a rush along with a buzzing in his ears from the saltiness, a smile across his face as he did so.
Mina, for her part, she was enjoying it as well as she looks to see Mikumo smiling, and as she does so, she wonderins where she has seen him before… An image flashes in her mind, a memory… Seawater… Hard to breathe… A mop of green hair… A pair of lips… and then the warmth of the sun… She holds her head slightly as she thinks on that, knowing that the memory is significant, but, for the life of her, she can't draw it to the surface fully. However, she knows it is important… She remembers telling her friends at school about it, and how she couldn't forget her savior, who took her first kiss in order to save her life during one summer 5 years ago. She smiles as she thinks of the memory but then notices Mikumo finishing his food. "Hey Mina?"
"Yeah, Mikumo?"
"Good luck in the Practical! Knock'em dead!" Mikumo says, smiling at her.
"You too, Miku!" Mina says, giving him a thumbs up, in which the greenette does the same, before walking off towards the assigned faux city district with the other students. Standing outside of the city, Mikumo begins to do a few stretches as he gets himself psyched up for what is going to happen next.
"Whoa, this place looks like an entire town!" One of the Examinees says, "Just how many of these do they have?"
'These guys are packing heat in order to take full advantage of their quirks…' Mikumo activates his Spider Protector and places his hand on his chest, feeling like something is missing as he does so. In his head, the image of a large Orange Spider across his chest makes itself known, and he wonders why he feels so… So naked without it. However, he can't focus on that right now, but as he notices Mina nearby, in which his mask pulls away.
"Hold it right there!" A man grabs Mikumo's shoulder, to which Mikumo quickly grabs the hand and, instinctively, throws the person over his shoulder and onto the ground. "Gah!"
"You again!" Mikumo says, "Haven't you harassed me enough for one day!?"
"Now that's just plain rude!" The young man says, picking himself up. "Who exactly are you, and what are you doing here!? Don't tell me you've come to obstruct your fellow test-takers!"
"The only one who is obstructing anything is you, you're the one whose targeted me since the presentation and it's getting on our nerves!" Mikumo's voice is flanging and growing deeper.
"AND STAAAAART!" Present Mic's voice calls out, to which Mikumo snarls in pain as his suit separates himself for a moment before he instead charges off into the city! "WOW, LOOKS LIKE MY PERSONAL FAVORITE EXAMINEE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO WAS LISTENIIIING! SO WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH THE REST OF YOU!?IN REAL BATTLES, THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A COUNTDOWN, SO CONSIDER THE BATON TOSSED AND THE CLOCK TICKING!" With this, the other examinees begin dashing, but Mikumo, despite his suit separating from his body several times through Present Mic's speech, he manages to pull through and gets in range of the First Robot, a One-Pointer, listed as a "Victory" from the pamphlet. His eyes then notices the bot has a set of miniguns on them, in which, as he sees those, an image flows into his mind: A Soldier dressed in a black militaristic style armor with a huge white spider on it's chest, wielding all sorts of guns with his enhanced strength and military training…
'Agent Venom!' Mikumo thinks, in which he charges at the creature, steam erupting from his shoulders and aims a kick at it's face, "SPIDER KIIIICK!" He then knock's it's head clean off before his suit stretches on it's own and rips the miniguns off it's arms, before wrapping it's constituent matter into it's mechanisms and equipping the machines into Mikumo's arms. The Constituent matter then stretches and rips off pieces of the machine's armor and equips them to Mikumo, who then looks to see several other bots heading his way. "Heh! BRING IT!" He then aims his guns forward with his arms and motions with his fingers, his pseudopods flowing through the guns, causing them to rotate as bursts of superheated steam fly out of the guns and start ripping apart the bots that are rushing towards him. "That's 12 Points!"
Observation Room:
"Yeah! Check it!" Present Mic says, Examinee 1349 is really tearing it up right at the start! Though how did the kid's hero suit actually attach those guns onto him!?"
"That's always been Mikumo's strong suit when it comes to his quirk, quiet literally!" All Might says, smiling as he looks at it. "Mikumo's Quirk allows him to generate a special suit that is able to adapt to his needs, and Mikumo has had a knack for incorporating technology into his suit by stretching out the material it is made from and integrating into the systems."
"Hmmm…" Another teacher says.
"Well that is the whole point of this test anyway…" A rather small, kind, but authoritative voice says, "These tests are designed to bring out everyone's unique talents through a strict time limit and a vast battleground."
"Still don't you think we've got quite the bumper crowd this year?" Another voice asks.
"We can't be sure of that…" All Might says, reaching for a button, "Cuz the real test… Is about to begin!" He then pushes the button.
Faux City:
As Mikumo rips apart another robot, he sees Mina. "Hey, Mina-san!" Mikumo says, landing beside her as he kicks a Bot that was about to attack her from the momentary distraction. "You alright!"
"Yeah, thanks for that!" Mina says. "How many points did you get?"
"Including that one? 18!" Mikumo says, "Despite my initial success, I've been having trouble finding any worthwhile prey!"
"Well don't give up now, we have less than 3 minutes left!"
"Heh! I like that!" However then he stops, "Wait, do you feel that?"
"Feel wha-AH!" Mina shouts before suddenly a sudden rocking of the ground and the sound of crashing is heard as everyone recovers only to see a giant robot appear out of the ground, and swing a fist towards them, causing more rubble to fly.
"THE EXECUTOR!" Mikumo shouts, he then sees everyone run for their lives, and is about to turn himself, before he hears something.
"Ow!" Mina's voice reaches him, in which Mina's leg is trapped under some rubble, and Mikumo turns to her. The Sound of the Executor's treads are heard making their approach to Mina… Mina turns to Mikumo, fear in her eyes.
"Save her…!" A voice says, to him, his own but deeper and flanging. "SAVE THE GIRL!" Mikumo's eyes turn black as he rushes to Mina' much to everyone who is running past him looks in shock as Mikumo's suit fully closes over him, and, much to everyone's shock, Mikumo's suit transforms right before everyone's eyes… Mikumo's suit before, where it had an orange cloud pattern flowing from the hands to the elbow, the orange now flows into the palms of his hands and the underside of his fingers, with Orange covering up the entire section of his feet with the calves being covered in orange. On the back of his hands are what appear to be some sort of orange shapes that look like a mix of a rhombus with a thick V underneath it, on his mask there are orange markings around the lower half of his eyes and cheekbones that flow down his cheeks and stop at the body of his jaw, stopping just before the lower chin, with the remaining green taking on the form of a rebreather, whilst the interior of the "ears" takes on an orange hue, but, most importantly of all, a huge orange spider appears on Mikumo's chest, with it's mighty legs stretching around his chest and wrapping around the back, where the tips hug against his spine.
(A/N: Before anyone asks… YES, THIS IS A VENOM AGENTS OF THE COSMOS SUIT REFERENCE!)
The Weapons his body had equipped before are shot off as a black tendril wraps around Mina as it removes the rocks trapping her ankle and moves her to the side safely. Mikumo's suit then opens vents on his back as Mikumo crouches down, an emerald crackling of energy erupting from his body as he launches into the air, as a cloud of steam erupts from his body at extremely high speeds and pressure. Mikumo growls as he rears his arm back and then looks at the Executor. "GET AWAY FROM HER!" He swings his arm forward, "SMAAAAAAAASH!" As soon as Mikumo's fist collides with the faceplate of the robot, it immediately shatters and explodes, in which Mikumo growls as he looks at it falling, to which he turns to Mina, only to notice something, a shooting pain erupting through his body. "GAH! WHAT IS THIS!?" He then remembers something about his father telling him about this quirk.
Earlier that Morning:
Mikumo looks sick as he swallows the hair… "Dad… Couldn't it have been blood instead of hair!?" Mikumo asks, glaring at his father. Mirio is laughing at the look on Mikumo's face, unable to contain himself at this.
"I forgot the needle to prick my finger, son, so sorry about that!" Toshinori says to Mikumo, apologizing. "Hey, you got it down, and that's what matters!"
"Are you sure that's how it worked? Cuz I don't feel any different!" Mikumo says.
"It takes a few hours for the quirk to fully synchronize with your body!" Toshinori says, "Give it 2-3 Hours for it to start to set in."
"Geez, now you tell me!" Mikumo says, to which his father chuckles. "Well I suppose I should head home, I've gotta shower and get something to eat… Get my supplies."
"Now hold on, Miku, before you go, there is something I need to explain to you!" Toshinori says, "You may be a proper vessel for One for All, but even then you're only a rough casting, you haven't been refined, and you've had no time to break in the power a bit, or regulate how much you can use at once. Not only that, your Klyntar Suit may be able to absorb heavy impacts, this is going to be so much more than it's used to all at once, and your healing factor is extremely slow in comparison to others. What I'm saying is prepare for some serious backlash on your end. We don't have much time for me to explain more, so be prepared for anything."
Back to Present:
'Dammit! I should've remembered that sooner!' Mikumo thinks as he looks to see he is falling, and he realizes he got reckless, again, and now he's paying the price for it. 'Snap out of it, Mikumo Midoriya! You can still recover from this!' He looks towards the ground as he manages to fight through the pain. 'Okay the ground is advancing fast, I got to-'
"Leave it to us…" That voice appears again, in which Mikumo looks around.
"What? Who?" That is when Mikumo feels something in his suit, he can feel the material on his back stretching out behind him in long tendrils combining before splitting and creating what could only be described as a basic parachute that slows his descent so that he can land safely. Mikumo groans as he lands relatively safely and he groans as he rolls along the ground, his broken legs bent beside him while he holds his broken arm.
"MIKU!" Mina says, rushing to him, "Mikumo! Can you hear me?"
"I'm fi-AGH!" Suddenly his broken limbs bend back into place and there is the sound of bones breaking and flesh tearing as suddenly Mikumo stands up without his desiring to, before the mask returns to his face and his arm heals, looking at Mina, who watches as the mask over his lower face opens to reveal an orange fleshy mouth with green lips and rows of razor sharp teeth and a long tongue.
"Eyes…. Lungs… Pancreas… So many snacks… So little time…" The creature says with a menacing grin, "All wrapped up in an adorable pink package…" The creature looks Mina dead in the eyes, the girl looking at Mikumo in shock, but then it begins snickering. "You should've seen the look on your face!"
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" Mina shouts, "And where is Mikumo!?"
"We… Are Overcast…" The Creature says, "You could say we are the Dark Side of Mikumo… Awoken by his heroic actions to save you… We are the parts of Mikumo he keeps hidden from the rest of the world…" His face is then covered once more by the half-mask. "And Worry not about Mikumo… He is healing now…"
"Healing how?"
"We can repair any damage done to him, save for that which is immediately fatal. His arms and legs broke cleanly, so the healing was not that hard and could be done quickly…" Overcast says. "He will recover soon…"
"Ah I was wondering when you would come out, Overcast!" An elderly voice says, the sound of a cane being heard.
"Recovery Girl… You know of us?"
"You can thank your mother for informing me that this would happen. In any case, do you want some chocolate?" Chiyo says, reaching into her pocket to bring out a set of chocolate candies, what happens next is Overcast acting like a puppy, begging for the chocolates, and Chiyo treating him like one before giving him the candy. "Despite being something out of one's nightmares, you're adorable! Alright everyone, who needs healing?"
One Week Later:
Inko smiles as she works with her symbiote partner, Arachne, smiling as she cooks up a massive spread of all the best recipes she knows that provide Klyntars with the needed PEA boost they need, and she smiles. It has been over a week since Mikumo came back from the Entrance Exams and, thanks to the events that transpired there, Mikumo's Other Self is now awake, and she is just as Giddy as Arachne is. 'My other baby is finally here!' Inko thinks, smiling as she is trying to keep herself from jumping for joy at the news. Despite it being well over a week, Inko was beyond happy, as if she had just given birth a second time. However, with this came an increase to Mikumo's appetite, and as much, their grocery bills are higher than before. However, despite this, she is more than willing to compensate for her sons… Sons… She never thought she'd be thinking that, until Arachne awoke, she never would've figured she'd actually had twins, and one of them was asleep until the circumstances proved right. Hell, she could even say that about Arachne being her twin sister in that regard.
Still this was something that was extremely exciting for her, being the mother of two extremely powerful boys, and the fact they seem to be getting along well over the past week, with Izuku finally having someone whom he can talk to besides her and Toshinori in the house, it really does make her heart soar. However, much to Mikumo and Overcast's disappointment, Toshinori told her he'd be gone for about a week for work, but when he was done, he'd be back to celebrate the arrival of Overcast. Not only that, the results for the exams were a few days late, so it was really making both her and Arachne nervous for their sons. Thankfully, the school contacted her earlier today to let her know there was a delay, so the results would be there that evening or early tomorrow morning at the latest. "Oh yeah! Mikumo, Overcast, the results for your exam should be in sometime today or maybe tomorrow morning!" Inko says, "Though, so you know, if you don't make it to UA, I know a few other hero schools who would be glad to take you, including my Alma Mater: Shiketsu!"
"Yeah…" Mikumo says, to which Overcast gently appears.
"Cheer up, brother… It isn't much longer until we get the results. What could possibly go wrong?"
'Goddammit Bubsy!' Mikumo thinks.
"Such foul language!" Overcast teases, giving a smirk.
"You're no better!" Mikumo says.
"We're just more liberal with our thoughts!" Overcast says, to which Mikumo gives his twin a look and the to launch at each other, with Overcast wrapping around Mikumo, who releases his vapor as he struggles against his twin.
"Hey, no fighting you two!" Arachne shouts.
"Ara ara!" Inko says, smiling at her sons, the pure familial bliss.
"You're not helping, Inko!" Arachne says, only for suddenly there to be a knock on the door and something to slip through the mail slot, in which Overcast untangle his brother and the two rush over to it, picking up the letter, revealing it is from UA. Mikumo looks at it and then rushes to his room to open the letter. Inko starts pacing outside the room, looking at the door as she waits for her sons to come out. "Relax Inko. Everything will be just fine! What could possibly go wrong?"
'Goddammit Bubsy!' Inko thinks. Meanwhile, Mikumo holds the letter in his hand and Overcast manifests his head over his brother's shoulder.
"Do it brother… We'll get nowhere just holding it…" Overcast encourages.
"Right…" Mikumo opens it to find a hollow projector, and Mikumo then sets it down to see what is recorded on it.
"I AM HERE ON SCREEN!" Toshinori says in his Hero Form, smiling at his son. "Hey son, how's it going? I had to call in a few favors to get this done, but I'll spare you the details for later. This recorder doesn't have much time so I'll be brief!"
"Ha! I knew Dad was a real joker!" Mikumo says.
"That's our father? We look nothing like him!"
"Sh!"
"As you already know, I'll be teaching at UA during your time there, Mikumo, and maybe further beyond that!" He then has a small disagreement with the camera crew before continuing on. "So I'll give it to you straight, son, you did extremely well on the written exam. In fact you had one of the best scores out of anyone there. However, as you know, you only managed to get 18 Villain Points throughout the entire exam due to the robots being so spread out. So, of course, you failed!"
"WE FAILED!? FUCKING WEAK DUDE! IF ONLY I WOKE UP SOONER!"
'I'm sorry dad…'
"HOWEVER!" All Might says, getting their attention, "Your fortunate timing of awakening Overcast and your heroic efforts have managed to nab you something just as valuable as Villain Points! Behold, my boy!" It then shows an image of Mina walking towards Present Mic!
'Mina!/Mina!' The twins think at the same time.
"Excuse me, Present Mic, I'm sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if I could ask a favor!" Mina says, "Mikumo, my new friend that I met in the exam, is it okay if I share some of my points with him? He's the average looking boy with the floofy green hair and freckles on his face!" Mikumo and Overcast look at her with shock, but also both are on the verge of tears, "Thanks to him saving me, he got himself injured to the point he couldn't obtain more than 18 points in the exams! Please, he is a real hero, he doesn't deserve losing his chance to go to UA!"
"Calm down, little listener, it's alright!" Present Mic says, "You don't need to worry about him!" He pets Mina's head and she looks at him with shock, "His actions have done much more than lost him some villain points. But you'll find out later!"
"You see, Mikumo, your actions, much more than your quirk, have touched those you have saved!" Toshinori says, "And that is something that the Judges were looking for, far more than that of somebody who can just smash a ton of robots! If you remembered your lessons, you'd know that the Department of Heroics would never reject an examinee simply for doing the right thing! Oh you think that's cheesy boy? It's in the job description! Sacrificing yourself to do all the cheesy stuff! They saw what I see in you, son! And add the score of 60 Rescue Points to your 18 Hero Points, and…!" He shows Izuku the Top 10 Scores, and Mikumo beats out Katsuki Bakugou by one Point!
"I LOST BY ONE POINT!" Katsuki Bakugou shouts in the distance, "I LOST BY ONE POINT!"
"As such, son! You not only passed the Practical Exam and the Written Exam, but both scores put you at the very top of the Exams, and I, as your father, am no more proud of you than I am now!" All Might says, a genuine smile of pride on his face. "Will you join me, kid, at your Hero Academia!?"
"SIR, YES, SIR/SIR, YES, SIR!" The two brothers shout excitedly and with great relief. The two boys exit their room and they smile at Inko and Arachne, in which Arachne gives her human twin a smug smirk as if to say "I told ya so", while Inko Tears up and hugs her sons.
