Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Destiny. Enjoy the 800-word story. I do not own Destiny; Bungie and a few others do.
The war for Mars was NOT as simple as fighting the soldiers and STILL having something else going on at the end of it.
The guardians who were busy fighting the Vex had not once gotten any closer to understanding the Cabal.
It was only after 6 months had something of a resolution to the war with the Cabal… At least then? They were not killing each other.
Then again? The Cabal had been impressed humanity could stand up to the Vex and the Hive, they had a lot of different ideas as to what was growing on their minds.
The Cabal had been too strong but considering humanity had attempted to expand its borders? They were impressed… And it was shown they BOTH hated the Hive and Vex.
Granted? What LITTLE they explained was the Cabal soldiers sent towards the solar system were loyalists to the last emperor and they were having a civil war between them and those loyal to the new ruler.
Something about it all had been too much for now. They had a lot more to discuss as the two species tried their best to come to an understanding, not trusting each other but not caring enough for a war.
There was something between the two species at the end of the time being once more. They had a lot more to try and think of.
This led to TWO legions wanting a guardian to lead them as a representative of humanity. Three of the Blind Legion was counted at best.
Those two legions? The Skyburners and Siege Dancers, those of the most elite soldiers besides those whom the Cabal described at the time were the personal legion of the corrupt emperor.
This led to Alex's current problems, being asked to head to Mars… The guardian asked to take over the legion or at least talk to the loyalists.
He sighed, too tired… Far too tired, too disturbed at the time being. There was something else to be said about being at the end of the line.
There was something else to deal with for now at the end of the day. They had something else to distract themselves… Something about it all had been too much for now, too thrown off at the end of the day.
Something about it all had been too much to deal with as he thought of it all had been too much to deal with.
He had a lot more to deal with for now, they had a lot more to try and think of now it all had been too much.
Both legions were preparing. It had been found out the Hive wished to attack Mars, the moon was swarming with them and their species was eager for blood, those who could not defend.
Alex knew the Cabal wanted nothing more than to fight, all of them.
Alex pulled up the information the Vanguard had on both legions. Both wanted a human representative/commander but he could not lead both.
At least Alex believed he could not.
Siege Dancers: Cabal siege experts, based out of Freehold, skilled defensive masters/shock troops for advanced Cabal forces.
Alex sighed, too tired and too distracted for now as he thought of what was growing on his mind as he relaxed once more… He had a lot on his mind as he typed in details on the Skyburners.
The Siege Dancers were the soldiers who led the most brutal fights against the Vex, yellow and blue.
The Skyburners were something else. They were the best soldiers in the Cabal ranks, they were rumored to be the most elite expedition forces. They just showed up and those who fought the war against the Hive while the others were busy attempting to wage war against the Vex. They were too much too distracted at the end of the day.
The idea of leading such a legion was something to be distracted by at the end of the day. The legion was that distracted and he was asked to fight for now.
They had plenty of work for now, he had a lot more to try and think of when it was all said and done.
Eh, Alex put in the coordinates. The idea did not bother him.
Author Notes
Phew. The first chapter is done! I want to point out that the next chapter will be in 2-10 months and it will show more of both Alex and them on the frontlines… This will also be either a crossover with Star Wars or such. The next chapter will also be with a poll… I am leaving it up to what Alex joins. Sand Eaters, Dust Giants, Skyburners, Siege Dancers, or Blind Legion. Until the 900–6500-word chapter, Lighting Wolf out!
