DuckBoi: I'm honestly not sure. But not every story I do needs to have a pairing, harem or singular. I mean, if I did choose, it may be Black Cat who I may have show up for Arkham City and Arkham Knight.

Ed: Hmm...

boogbryant98 phs2016: Thanks.

Raidentensho: Thanks. I'll consider some of the choices.

PopCultureFan101: Hmm, maybe Bullseye, but Taskmaster? The guy who can copy you just by watching you fight? Do you really want him to do that with Batman and copy his fighting style?

Foxsky Harem Emperor 2015: Oh christ, don't tempt me to bring in Deadpool.

Romeo Jaramillo: Thanks.

DevilHunter: Well, there isn't really any solid continuity on the Spider-Man side of things. This is the Arkhamverse, and Ryan has been Wolf-Spider for nearly five years, as Peter has been Spider-Man for the same since they both took up the mantle at the same time.

Mrmarcusj95: Shocker and Scorpion, huh?

Frostspiderman: Doubt there will be one in this story, but it may be Black Cat in later stories, like by Arkham City she may appear.

Disclaimer: I do not own Spider-Man or Batman: Arkham. I only own the OC Ryan Parker/Wolf-Spider.

As they watched half the inmates file out of the room, leaving only a small few armed with bats and pipes, Batman looked at his partner. "Let's go." Was all he said before walking over to an air duct grate and pulling it off it's hinges. Batman crouched and entered first, followed by Wolf-Spider. As they made their way through the vent, they could hear the prisoners talking to each other.

"You heard the man. Tonight's our night!" One of the prisoners said.

"That's right. He's gonna kill Loeb tonight!"

"'bout time Loeb got what he deserves."

"Hell yeah it is!"

"Now, listen up. Black Mask let us out, so the way I see it, we owe him one. Let's clear this place of guards so he can make a clean escape." Suggested one of the prisoners.

"You could do that. Me? I'm outta here. An' knockin over the first liquor store I see." Said one of the prisoners.

By this time, Batman and Wolf-Spider had reached the other end of the air duct, which was open and had no grate needed to be kicked off. Batman dropped down, landing on one of the inmates which startled the other four. However, Wolf-Spider took the opportunity to drop down on a second inmate, then web him to the ground.

"I-I didn't sign up for getting my ass kicked!" One of the inmates shouted upon seeing the two heroes. Batman drew a batarang and threw it, striking the thug in the face before Batman charged, and shoulder-flipped him over to Wolf-Spider who jumped into the air, shot two weblines to the ground, and propelled himself feet first into the thug, slamming him to the ground and knocking him out cold. For good measure, he webbed his hands to the ground to make sure he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon.

"I can't believe this!" Another thug shouted before he was punched hard by Batman, knocking him into the wall and laying him out cold as well.

"Hey, let us back in our cells!" One of the thugs shouted as he tried to run into one of the cells only for Wolf-Spider to grab him and slam him to the floor hard, then bring his fist across his face, knocking him out as well.

The two vigilantes turn to the Black Mask thug, who had run off and cordoned himself off thanks to a security gate that was blocking the way to the next door leading to the next room. "You ain't getting past me." The thug said smugly, confident the two heroes wouldn't reach him.

Batman turns on his Detective Vision and sees the weak wall beside the goon. 'That wall beside him is weak. If I can find a way in behind it, I can take him down safely.' Thought Batman. Batman then sees a open cell that has a vent in it. And he can see that there is a lot of calendars all around the room, no doubt this was the Calendar Man's cell. He pulled a different tool from his utility belt. Something similar to his Grapple gun but is a modified version of it. His Batclaw. He used it to launch the claw onto the vent and pulls on the wire to force and pull the vent off and begins to climb into the open vent.

"Huh... wish I had tech like that." Wolf-Spider muttered to himself as he followed Batman into the vent.

The vigilantes made their way through the vent and came out the other end, landing behind the wall that was next to the Black Mask thug. From where they stood, they could hear the thug say to himself. "Looks like I scared them off."

Wolf-Spider nearly snorted at that as Batman sprayed his explosive gel on the wall, took a few steps back then pressed the detonator. The wall exploded, the rubble hitting the thug in the side of the head which knocked him out. He was going to have a very bad headache when he came too, though he'll be in a jail cell by then.

Proceeding forward, the heroes entered another room which Wolf-Spider took a single glance around. "You know this place better than I, what is this room?"

"The Execution Chamber access room." Batman said gruffly with narrowed eyes in thought. "If Black Mask has Loeb brought here... he's intending to use the chamber to kill him.

There was a security door blocking their way, with two switches, but Batman threw a batarang as Wolf-Spider shot a webball, hitting the buttons at the same time which opened the door and allowed them to proceed forward into part of the medical ward. Batman used his Batclaw to rip a grate off the wall, alloiwng them to climb into the vent and move onwards. However, as they did, they heard Black Mask's voice and stopped at a opening to see the execution chamber, where the man himself was standing.

"Part of me wants to just flip that switch. But it is Christmas Eve… and he is the Calendar Man..." Black Mask paused to let out a small chuckle before calming down. "...and that's just too perfect to ignore. You're gonna owe me for this, Julian. And that... could be useful."

"Uh, sir, what do we do about Loeb?" One of Black Mask's men asked.

"Bring him in. Bring him in!" Black Mask said.

Wolf-Spider and Batman shared a look before they continued onwards to the other end of the duct, dropping down into the spectator room where a two-sided mirror glass stopped the heroes from being spotted by the criminals in the other room. They approached the glass as Killer Croc came in, bringing Loeb with him and dropping him at Black Mask's feet.

"What's all this about, Sionis?" Loeb demanded before being forced to his feet by Killer Croc. "Haven't I always come through for you?"

"Of course." Wolf-Spider rolled his eyes. "How many cops are in Black Mask's pocket?"

"Too many." Batman said angrily. "They're corrupt to the very core."

"You may have, Gillian." Black Mask said as he approached the commissioner. "But things have changed. We're starting with a clean slate, and you're not on it."

With a gesture to the giant crocodile man, Loeb was pushed towards the chamber, pulled forth by two of Black Mask's thugs.. "What are you talking about?!" Loeb demanded as he tried to fight. "I'm not on it?! After all I've done for you!"

Seeing the dire situation, Wolf-Spider and Batman tried to break through the glass as the chamber door was shut and locked. But try as they might, they could only give the glass some cracks, which was thanks to Wolf-Spider's strength.

As the gas started to fill the chamber, Black Mask chuckled and turned to leave. "Show's over, boys." He said.

For no apparent reason whatsoever, Killer Croc whacks one of Black Mask's men, causing him to slam into the glass and almost break it.

Wolf-Spider growled and charged, leaping at the glass which shattered from the force of his whole body slamming into it, and he rolled into the room, straightening up to look at the chamber only to see Loeb's deceased corpse inside, horror forever etched onto his face.

"Dammit." Wolf-Spider clenched his fist and punched the chamber.

"Black Mask has a lot to answer for." Batman said. The security door then opened, and three of Black Mask's thugs ran in, one of which was armoured.

"It's the Bat and the Wolf-Spider!" One of them exclaimed, clutching a baseball bat. "We're never getting out of here!"

The armoured thug scoffed as he charged the heroes. "We got this-!"

He was cut off as when he threw a punch, Batman caught it, Wolf-Spider then clotheslined the thug to the floor, and Batman finished him off with a knee to the skull, knocking him out. The two vigilamtes then turned to the remaining two thugs, who were now shaking in their boots.

"Ahh!" The thug with the baseball bat yelled as he swung the weapon at Batman, who caught it and bashed the handle into the thug's masked face, but it did some damage. The other thug charged at Wolf-Spider, drawing a pocket knife and swiping at the arachnid-themed vigilante who sidestepped each strike before he spartan kicked the thug, then yanked him into a punch, followed by lifting him up and slamming him to the floor, finishing him off with a knee to the face as Batman knocked the other thug out with a strike from the baseball bat.

"Let's go." Batman said, and the two ran off in pursuit of Black Mask. They ran down the security corridor, and reached the exit of it when the ground shook, making the two heroes stumble a little.

"What the..." Wolf-Spider trailed off.

They walked through the door in front of them. As soon as they entered, they heard voices above them.

"I told you to grab the memory card!" Shouted a voice that sounded like Black Mask.

"You wanted it smashed, so I smashed it!" Came another voice that was assumed to be Killer Croc's.

The two of them see the drone from before destroyed on the ground. Batman walks over to and crouches down to pick up what looks like a memory card.

"It had better be, or the next thing that gets smashed WILL BE YOUR FACE!" Shouted Black Mask.

Croc growls and then everything is quiet until they hear a helicopter in the distance.

"How does it look?" Wolf-Spider asked Batman.

"The memory card is damaged, but I should be able to recover most of the data back at the Batcave." He replies.

"Where?" Wolf-Spider blinked, confused on what he's talking about. Did he actually live in a cave with bats?

"No time to explain, we got to hurry." Batman says as he takes out his Grapnel Gun and grapples up to the ledge above them as Wolf-Spider followed. Then the two climb up a ladder that leads to the roof.

The two of them see Black Mask get in a helicopter and fly off with some of his men. Then a second helicopter lands and picks more of Black Mask's men. Killer Croc is about to follow when he picks up two scents. He gestures for the pilot to leave. Once it left, Batman and Wolf-Spider dropped down behind Croc.

"Thought I caught your scents." Croc growled without looking at them as he walked towards a propane tank.

"Well, we definitely caught yours." Wolf-Spider retorted, making the crocodile man growl angrily. Croc then ripsthe propane tank off the ground and threw it at the two of them, but both of them duck under it. The tank exploded once it hit the wall leaving a fiery mess behind them as the two get ready for a fight.

Croc laughs before running over to them and tries to swipe at them. They both roll out of the way and then Batman stuns Croc with his cape and begins to strike him. Then Batman grabs his head and slammed it onto the ground. Croc then slams his hand onto the ground trying to knock back Batman but he had already rolled out of the way.

"Let's add some fuel to this fight. Says Croc as jumps over to a propane tank and begins to rip it off its hinges as a helicopter brings in Black Mask's men.

Wolf-Spider deals with the thugs while Batman throws his Batarangs at the tank and makes it explode. Batman again stuns him with his cape and attacks him with multiple strikes. He then tries to slam his face into the ground again but Croc catches him by the leg and throws him to the ground. Croc tries bite Batman but Batman is able to grab his face and stop him.

Once Wolf-Spider taken down the men, he saw that Batman was in trouble and ran over to them. He web kicks Croc on the side of the face, and makes him roll off of Batman. Croc then tries to send a shock wave at Wolf-Spider by slamming his fist into the ground but he rolls out of the way. Croc then jumps over to another propane tank.

"Time to take this seriously." Croc says as he begins to rip the tank off its hinges again.

More men drop out of a helicopter and try to attack the heroes but Wolf-Spider deals with them while Batman again throws a Batarang at the propane tank and makes it explode.

Wolf-Spider then faces Croc, leaving the remaing thugs standing to Batman. Wolf-Spider leaped over Croc when he tried to take a bite out of him, then shot webs at him multiple times to restrain his arms to his side, allowing Wolf-Spider to jump on and start punching away at Croc's face hard, but this just seemed to piss him off as he snarled and roared in the vigilante's face.

"Work on hygiene, Jones." Wolf-Spider said and shot another web to shut Croc up, but the big crocodile man headbutts the hero, knocking him off, then rips himself free of the webbing and charges at Wolf-Spider whose spider sense went off and he rolled out of the way. He shot two weblines at Croc's feet and pulled hard, sending the big man off his feet but Croc got right back up as he caught Wolf-Spider when he leaped at him, slamming him to the floor. "Ow..."

He was quick to react as Croc tried to bite him, forcing Croc's jaws away from his body. Batman came in with a kick to the side of Croc's head, knocking him off. Wolf-Spider jumped back to his feet and landed an upwards kick to Croc's jaw, followed by Batman with an elbow, then Wolf-Spider shot a webline to Croc's chest and yanked him forward into a double punch from the heroes that knocked him back onto the fence, making it bend from Croc's weight and show the long drop to the ocean below.

Croc didn't get a chance to get up before Batman and Wolf-Spider jumped onto his chest. "Your boss. Where's he going?" Batman demanded, giving Croc a punch. causing the gate to loosen.

"Only boss a'me, is me." Croc says earning another strike, this time from Wolf-Spider, causing the gate to loosen more.

"You want teeth, I want answers!" Batman growls as he strikes Croc for a second time.

Croc looks down to the sea below him that he thinks he's about to fall into before responding, "Wait till Black Mask's assassins get through with the two of you."

"What assassins?!" Batman shouts and punches Croc again, making the gate nearly break off its hinges.

Croc laughs before he says. "Whoever wins is gonna be famous AND rich.

Batman strikes him for a final time, making Croc go unconscious from all the punches and the beating he received.

"At least we know he won't be ugly." Wolf-Spider said.

The two heroes stepped back, dragging Croc off the gate which broke from it's hinges and plunged into the sea below. Just as the heroes were about to take their leave, flashlights were on them as GCPD arrived.

"Freeze!" Captain Gordon shouted as he aimed his gun at them along with his men.

"Hold it right there!" Harvey Bullock shouted.

"Any ideas?" Wolf-Spider muttered to his partner.

"Just one." Was all Batman said as he subtly pressed a button on his gauntlet.

"I'm taking you both in." Said Gordon.

"Not tonight." Said Batman.

Wolf-Spider's spider senses go off but he is too late to react as Batman pushes him off the ledge. Batman falls off the ledge after him. The cops advance towards the ledge to investigate, when suddenly the Batwing rises with Batman and Wolf-Spider on it. Batman hops into jet and presses a button on the controls that scoots his seat forward and makes room for a second passenger.

"Get in." Batman says over the roaring jets to Wolf-Spider.

Wolf-Spider doesn't think twice before hopping into the passenger seat. Once the glass slides over the two, it takes off and disappears, leaving the cops in awe.

"No such thing as a Bat Man, huh?" Bullock says to Gordon. Only to see him ignoring him and just staring off into the direction of where the Batwing took. He wonders though what will happen tonight.

That's this chapter finished. Next, Wolf-Spider and Batman take a look at the assassins hired to kill them. Now, I was originally going to have eight assassins from Marvel picked, since Batman had eight assassins hired to kill him. But too many might draw things out when it's unnecesary, so I've only picked two from Marvel.

Sorry if this disappoints you all, but that's just the way it is.
