*Random rock in the middle of the ocean

*7:30am

Poof!

I reappeared by the boulder I left the Lopunny and Vapor on yesterday. They flinched and held each other out of fear while I flew over to them.

"Please don't hurt us!"

"I'm not going to. You guys probably deserve worse considering what you both did to my friend but I'm not a monster. You also don't need to whine after being here for just a night. I'm here to take you home now after all."

"Don't come anywhere near us you freak!"

I growled a little at the Lopunny but I quickly regained my composure. I really didn't like that word. It's one thing to have all this power but to be seen as something different because of it is something else.

"Do you want to get off this rock or not?"

They looked at each other as if trying to find a reason to decline. Which would be stupid considering how far the rock is from the shore.

"Fine. But stay the hell away from us after."

"Believe me I intend to. Take my hand and I'll take you off this rock."

The second they both touched my hand I teleported them to the closest beach. We arrived there in seconds.

The thing is once I brought them back they tried to attack me. I sighed in disappointment and teleported myself away.

"Some mon are so ungrateful."

I said as I had teleported myself back home to get ready for school. I flew up into my room and changed into my uniform top.

One more year and I get my diploma. I was very excited.

I heard a knock at my door and my dad came inside.

"Hey dad."

"Where did you go?"

"I teleported some jerks that were being mean to my friends. Yuna especially. I left them on a beach and they tried attacking me but I simply teleported away."

"What did they do to Yuna?"

"Um, one of them was her ex boyfriend and she caught him making out with another girl. They got into a fight and the Gabite that was helping her got sent to the hospital."

"Ah, I recall Lady Eve calling me to tell me about that. Well I'm sure the emotional scarring you gave them was justified."

I laughed as my dad gave my head some gentle pats.

"As for what they did to the Gabite, I can call the school and press charges."

"Lady Eve is already doing that. But if they don't listen to her you can always call them and I'm sure they will listen to the God of Destruction's threat."

"Don't go be giving me ideas now."

"Hehehehe."

"Also, your mother wanted me to tell you that breakfast is ready. "

"I can't. I'm meeting up with one of my friends before class."

"Mewthree."

He gave me that look that my mother would be sad if I didn't eat her cooking.

"Fine. But only for about 15 minutes."

*15 minutes later

*Town square

I usually teleport about a few times a day but today I was doing it quite a lot. Mentally counting that I've already used it about 4 times today already.

In certain parts of the city I can't use it and I find that restriction stupid but it doesn't have the same restrictions that it would have if humans still existed. At least according to what my mother has said about it in the past.

I was meeting with one of my friends outside of my friendship group. For someone so confident and sweet he sure was pretty shy. I looked around for him when I appeared close to the shopping district and I spotted him sitting at a table. He turned and waved when he saw me approaching.

"Hi Jupiter."

"Hey Mewthree. How have you been?"

"Well I myself have been doing just fine but Yuna hasn't been doing so well."

"Is she okay?"

"She caught her boyfriend cheating on her and they broke up. I would suggest not talking to her. Last time I spoke with her she was not doing so well. Yuna doesn't need another boy trying to poke around in her life."

"I see."

"I'm sorry but I'm merely looking out for my friend. I'm not pushing aside your feelings for her but I would wait to talk to her if I were you. She's going to be raw about the break up for a while but eventually she'll come around and then I can introduce you to her."

"That's fair. Even though I have tried talking to her in the past I always stop when I see she has a partner and I back away because I feel like my crush on her is wrong."

"Feelings are what you feel about a certain pokemon. In your case a crush would be having romantic intentions while not acting on them. I'm not saying you should act on them right now or anytime soon but you just need to be patient and consider her feelings. If you really care about Yuna as much as you say you do, you'll wait and give her time to recover."

"I have. And I will continue to."

"Good."

I met Jupiter during a game and I went over to him to congratulate him on his skills and one thing led to another and we became friends. He was a Jolteon and being an electric type made him a natural athlete and boxer.

I found about his crush on Yuna when I caught him staring at her yearbook photo last year. While he may be confident he sure gets really shy and nervous when Yuna is involved. I have seen him try to talk to her quite a lot and she's always oblivious to him. Naturally this discourages him quite a lot but I try to help him out. Or tell him to take his time and consider that she's in a relationship and he really doesn't want to be that guy and get in the middle.

We were both seniors and I knew deep down he was running out of time and he hadn't even had a conversation with her yet. I genuinely felt sorry for him. And I was the only Pokémon he spoke with, aside from his boxer buddies but that was different.

"Thank you for telling me. I was worried I would never even have a chance with her. And while I'm not going to do anything like that right now I do have plans to eventually. She just...makes me so damn nervous that I can't even express words to her."

Jupiter put a paw on his face as his cheeks flushed a bright pink.

"She's just so cool, and so sure of herself. Not to mention so damn beautiful..."

"Hehehe okay lover boy. Don't get ahead of yourself and fly up to cloud nine now."

"All those guys she's dated before who take her for granted or break her heart. It makes me so angry at them and I know she deserves so much better than that."

"She does. She really does."

Ding dong!

I looked up in surprise and checked my watch to look at the time.

"Oh crap! We might want to get going Jupiter. Class starts in half an hour and we're well in the city. And I can't teleport us here."

"Alright let's go!"

We both took off running to catch the 8:00am train and barely made it in time. We took a relieved seat down and made small talk and laughed about stupid things.

My cellphone eventually pinged with a text and I pulled it out to see it was from Yuna.

To Mewthree:

I don't feel like going to class today. I'm sure you understand why. I'll try to come for the last day of the semester if I'm feeling up to it.

I quickly sent back a response.

To Yuna:

It's okay bestie. Take your time and come to school when you're feeling ready. We'll all be waiting for you.

To Mewthree:

Thx. I'm going back to bed. Talk to you later.

To Yuna:

Okay I will. I promise.
