"Madam president, First Gentleman is here."
I turn around and she is standing there . She has golden short hair and pale skin. She has black eyebrows and brown eyes . She has two identical tattoos on her face . She has red lips and two lip studs at the edge of her lips.
There are black inks all over her neck and back of her hands . She is now the chief of secret service . She is also my husband .
"You guys can go." I wave at them.
"Yes madam president." Laura nods at me.
"Laura I need to go somewhere after an hour ." I say.
Laura leaves . Sabrina sits down on the couch. I walk toward her . I take off my high heel and sit on top of her . She grabs my waist.
"You are still letting Laura to take care of everything?" She asks
"She is the head of my detail. Why are you here today?" I raise my eyebrows
"I have better people than Laura that can be the leader of your details." Sabrina sighs .
I know that she is jealous . Laura was once openly confessed to me that she loves me . I kiss her
"She became my detail at the same time as you are." I say. "So I can't let anyone replace her . She doesn't love me anymore . She is very loyal."
"Are you sure!" Sabrina is suspicious .
"Yes I promise you. She is very good now." I smile at her. "I miss you."
Sabrina kisses my cheek. I know that she is very busy.
"The new vice president is very beautiful right?" I kiss her chin
"I didn't work anything for her. I ask my assistant to assign the details for her ." Sabrina grabs my chin. "You are jealous."
"No, definitely not. I have to go see her today and she will come home with me for dinner." I say. "She is a very good partner ."
"I believe your choice. I will wait at home for you or I can go with you." Sabrina shrugs .
It's not a big deal . So I can bring her with me as I believe .
"You can come with me . I will leave after an hour ." I look at my watch.
I lay on her laps . I close my eyes to rest for a bit. When I am awake , it is after an hour . Laura is standing at the door .
"We have to go madam president." Laura bowls her head
"You can still call me Alina if you want." I say. "I told you that we are also friends."
"I can't. There are rules." Laura looks at Sabrina
Sabrina wraps me into her arms . I know that she is very angry at Laura .
"If Sabrina is going to punish you, tell me . I will not allow her to do that." I roll my eyes . "Let's go."
Laura and Sabrina walk behind me . Linda, my assistant hands me the information.
"I don't think that you should trust her . She is very tricky ." Linda is worried
"I am trickier than her . Don't worry." I sigh.
We leave the White House . Sabrina opens the door for me . I sit in and she sits beside me .
"You are the First Gentleman already so you don't need to work this hard ." I grab her hand.
"I don't want other to say that I rely on you too much." Sabrina kisses my hand . "I don't want people to say negative things about us ."
"Rumour is rumour , you don't need to listen." I shake my head
Now I arrive at her house . Elizabeth is waiting for us . She is so tall and so beautiful. Without high heels, she is still as tall as Sabrina .
"Hello madam president and First Gentleman?" Elizabeth takes out her hand.
"I am Sabrina brown. Yes I am woman ." Sabrina is annoyed by her .
"I am sorry. I don't mean that. Welcome to my house." Elizabeth leads us into the house .
Her house isn't too big nor too small. She is very prepared for us . She hands me and Sabrina a cup of coffee.
"So for my election, I need more money than that." Elizabeth sits down
"I assume that we have the same budget and it is enough for you." I say.
"You have influence from your dad and uncle but I have nothing." Elizabeth sighs
She is right. My dad and uncle were both very influential leaders.
"However as you know that I am a step daughter for the vice president before but I am also Asian." I fold my arms . "So who has more difficulties ."
"Please , just a bit more." She is begging. "Around 2 thousand dollar please."
"Let's me think about it. I will ask Linda to tell you the result tomorrow." I stand up. "We have to go,"
Sabrina grabs my hand . Elizabeth doesn't say a word . I open the door and get out.
"You don't need to give her the budget." Sabrina says .
"You don't understand . If she lost, our enemies will sit in that position. For that, I will have to approve that." I rest on her shoulder
"I know but that is very risky." Sabrina says .
I shake my head . I know that she doesn't want me to take a risk but I have no choice . I have to take it.
"I have to take it." I say. "It is worth."
She opens the car door for me . I get in. She gets in next to me . Laura starts driving.
"Laura tomorrow come to the bureau and we need to talk." Sabrina squeezes my hand . "It doesn't related with Alina ."
"Sure what time ?" Laura asks
"10 am. I will ask other to temporary replace your position." Sabrina says
Laura nods at her . When we get to house , it is late afternoon. I get off the car .
"Laura, comes in and have a drink." I say. "I don't take no."
Laura follows us in the house . I take out a bottle of whiskey and pour two cups . I open a bottle of coke.
"I can't drink whiskey. I have to work tonight. I need to be clear headed."
"You are too busy honey." Sabrina is worried
"After this round , I will quit the position ." I say. "I will stay at home to be a house wife."
Sabrina nods at me . I know that she rather lets me be a house wife other than a president.
"I want you to do whatever you want. I don't want you to be closed in that cage suffering." Sabrina says . "Everytime I see you cry, my heart hurts"
"I need to know who will take my place . If there are no republic, I will have to sit in this position again." I fold my arms . "I agree with the government of Canada ."
I did make the agreement with them. As long as I am republic , they will support my presidency.
"Babe , why did you do that?" Sabrina wraps me into her arms
"That's the only way that I can secure Laura's position. She was secret service agent before but because of me , she has to get down to Capitol police . I promise her that I will let her back to secret service ." I sob.
Laura looks at me . Her eyes turn red . She is crying.
"I don't deserve you to do that for me . I am fine as long as I am with you. " Laura says
She takes the whole cup down . She leaves after that.
"Why ? Why did you do that for her?" Sabrina grabs my face .
"Sabrina , she has no where to go. Her mom was dead and so does her father . She is an orphan. Who can help her if she loses a higher position job." I say. "I don't love her but she is my friend ."
"She loves you! Can't you see that?" Sabrina grabs my wrist.
I resist her . I run away . I run upstair to my room. I don't know when did she changed . I am crying so hard . I don't know why she doesn't trust me
"Alina , I am sorry. I didn't mean that. I was scared . I was so scared that she is going to take you away from me." Sabrina cries . "I love you."
"You don't trust me ! I don't want this kind of relationship." I cry.
"I trust you! I just don't trust myself!" She wraps me tighter . "Please I am sorry. I will change this ."
I love her too. I put my hand on my stomach.
"If I don't love you, I will not carry the baby for you." I say. "I am pregnant."
"What heck? Why ? I did tell you not to do that surgery. It is painful ." Sabrina is shocked . "I don't want you to suffer."
"I love you so I don't care . You have to promise me that you don't suspect of me and Laura or anyone else ." I say. "Promise me ."
"Yes I promise you. I will invite her for dinner tonight. I will apologize." Sabrina kisses my hand . "I am sorry."
I nod at her . She helps me to get downstair again. Nanny are cooking dinner .
"I will phone her." Sabrina takes out her phone . "Don't worry."
I sit on the couch. I am very hungry right now .
"Is there any fruit left?" I ask
"Yes watermelon but now since you are pregnant . You can't eat that." Nanny says
"I want just a little ." I say. "I really hungry."
Nanny takes a bowl of watermelon for me. I take a big bit.
"It is so good thank you." I am happy. "Tonight there will be a guest . Make more foods please ."
"Laura says that she will be here around an hour ."
