Chapter 2
Daniel woke up in the morning and got out of bed. He got freshened up and then he gathered his things. Daniel turned on his phone and he saw a notification; it was from Mal0. "What?" He opened the notification and there was a photo. In the photo, was his old school. "Oh wow, it knows where I used to go to school. Whoever made this, is a genius."
Suddenly, Daniel notices something unusual in the photo. "Wait...the fuck is that?" In the corner of the photo, is a figure. He zoomed in on the figure and stared at it. The figure looked like a black wolf, that was standing on it's two legs and it's face was just it's skull. "Ok, no wonder they said it was creepy. What does this have to do with friendship anyway?"
Then the bedroom door opens and Daniel's Dad peeks in. "Are you ready to go?" "Oh yes, I'm ready." Daniel turns off his phone and walks downstairs. He follows his Dad out of the house, into the car and they drive off. After driving for half a hour, they drive up a road in the woods. "Remember Daniel, you can't tell anyone about this place. Ok?" says Daniel's Dad. "Yes Dad."
Eventually, they drive up to a checkpoint and a soldier approaches them. "ID?" he says. "Right here." Daniel's Dad gives the soldier his ID and he nods. "What about him?" "This is my son Daniel, and he doesn't have one I'm afraid." The soldier looks at Daniel, then he says: "You know what? It doesn't matter, you can go now." The gate opens and they drive up to a huge building.
"What is this place?" says Daniel. "This is the SCP Foundation." "And what do you do here?" "I'm an scientist." They got out the car and then entered the building. After walking down a few hallways, Daniel freezes when he sees a cat with only the front half. "What is that?!" "Oh, that's just Josie. Don't worry she won't bite you." says Daniel's Dad.
After he calms down, Daniel follows his Dad into a record room. The Dad flicks through a couple of files, then he finds one labelled: "SCP-1471" and passes it to Daniel. "This will tell you everything we know about Mal0." Daniel opens the folder and reads the same things he saw on the app. Then he reads some new things, it said that it will send messages every 3 to 6 hours.
"On the first day of installation, the mobile device will receive images taken at locations commonly frequented by the user.
After 48 hours, the mobile device will receive images taken at locations that were recently visited by the user.
After 72 hours, the mobile device will receive images of the user in real time, with 1471-A appearing within close proximity to the user.
Users with over 90 hours of exposure to the continuous images will begin to briefly visualize 1471-A within their peripheral vision, reflective surfaces, or a combination of the two.
Continued exposure to 1471 after this point will cause irreversible and sustained visualizations of 1471-A.
Users at this stage have reported periodic attempts made by 1471-A to visually communicate with them, but fail to understand or comprehend these actions.
Currently the only known treatment to reverse 1471's effect, is to eliminate the user's visual exposure to the images prior to 90 hours after installation.
To date, no apparent hostile activity has been reported regarding 1471-A.
All mobile devices that have 1471 installed, are to be confiscated and analyzed for any potential leads to other possibly affected devices.
Afterwards, affected devices are to have their batteries removed, be assigned a designation, and be placed in storage Unit-91 at Research Site-45."
