Chapter 10

Screams were heard around the facility as the soldier, the scientists and Daniel ran through the facility. "So what do we do when we get to the computer?" says Daniel. "We'll see what his demands are, then hopefully we can contain as many SCPs as possible," says Scientist 1. On the way, they find a man limping towards them.

He was wearing an orange jumpsuit and a white porcelain comedy mask. He looked towards the group and says: "Shit!" before limping away. "It's SCP-035!" says Scientist 2. "Why was he wearing a mask?" says Daniel. "He is the mask. It can possess anyone that wears it." The soldier walked around the corner, but 035 jumped out and tried to stick itself to his face.

"Not today!" the soldier shouts at the mask. He then kicked the body away, it fell over and the soldier fired his gun into it. The body became limp and then it melted into black goo. The other three came other to inspect the mess. All that was left, was black goo and the mask. "Alright everyone, don't look at it. And run away," the soldier says before running off.

The other three caught up and followed the soldier. After a few minutes, the group finds another man. He was dressed up like a butler and was having a drink of whisky. "Great party, isn't it?" he says to the group. The solider raises his gun, but Scientist 1 says: "Wait, that's Mr Deeds. He's good." "Thank you for saying so sir," says Mr Deeds.

"Sir, why are you just standing around here?" says the soldier. "I'm here to pass a message to Mr Anderson." Daniel stood forwards and said: "Me?" "Yes, you." Mr Deeds reached into his pocket and pulled out a special key card. "This was given to me by the person who rang my bell; your friend "Mal0." He then gave Daniel the key card. Mr Deeds finished his drink and said: "Oh, one last thing." "What's that?" says Daniel. "Your friend said "I'm sorry."

The scientists nodded to the soldier, he raises his gun and then shoots Mr Deeds. Daniel stood there in shock, watching Mr Deed's dead body. "Why did you shoot him?!" he shouts at the soldier. "Don't worry, he always comes back." Daniel's face became confused, and then he says "What?!" One of the scientists approaches Daniel and says: "Listen, there is a SCP called 662 and that is what summons him."

"What's that?" says Daniel. "It's a small silver bell. Every time you ring it, he comes back." "Ok! Can we go now?!" the soldier shouts at them. "Lead the way," says Daniel. They run off again and they stop outside a big door. "Alright, is it," says Scientist 1. "Finally, now we can get control back," says the soldier. Suddenly, a grey hole appears behind the soldier; and a figure comes out of it. The figure looked like a dead man walking, with a mischievous grin on his face.

"Oh shit! It's SCP-106!" says Scientist 2. The soldier spins around and fires into the entity. But 106 absorbs the bullets and grabs the soldier. "Get the fuck off me!" he shouts at the SCP. But it ignores him and another hole appears underneath them. They both got pulled into it and with his last effort, the soldier throws his gun over to the trio.

"End this and get to evac!" the soldier says before disappearing. The hole disappears and Daniel says: "What's that one?" "That one can pull you into a pocket dimension, and then they die," says Scientist 1. He then picked up the gun and said: "Open the door then." "Oh, right." Daniel used the key card and the door opened.

Inside the room is a cage. And inside the cage is a old computer; known as an Exidy Sorcerer. "Is that it?" says Daniel. "Yes, that is SCP-079." Suddenly, the computer spoke to them. "Human, you came looking for me?" "Yes we did. We want you to tell us how you caused the breach," says Scientist 1. "I met a friend, she got me access to everything in the facility."

"Do you mean Mal0?" says Daniel. "Correct." "So what do you want?" says Scientist 2. "Ok, listen carefully. The remote door control system is currently disabled. Now, I am not able to operate the doors. This makes it significantly harder for me to stay in control of this facility. It also means your way out of here is locked. Your only feasible way of escaping is through Gate B, which is currently locked down. I, however, could unlock the doors to Gate B, if you re-enable the door control system. If you want out of here, go to the electrical room and put it back on. Until then, I have no business speaking to you."

The trio then looked at each other. "So, what do we do?" says Daniel. Scientist 1 then says: "We don't really have a choice. We need to turn the door controls back on."
