Chapter 11

The trio ran back out into the halls, dodging SCPs whilst looking for the power room. Whilst running they hear a voice: "Dr? Are you here to help me with my research?" They turn around to see the Plague Doctor standing them. "Why of course I am. You two go on ahead, I'll catch up later," Scientist 1 says as he gives the gun to Scientist 2. He then nods and says: "Good luck." The duo slowly walked away from the SCP. Scientist 1 walked up to 049 and said: "After you?" "Gladly."

"Why do you have a guy dressed up as a Plague Doctor?" says Daniel. "That's SCP-049. He's trying to make a cure for something he calls "The Pestilence." "Also he can make zombies." "Lovely," says Daniel. Whilst making their way to the power room, Daniel and the scientist hears someone crying. "Oh no." "What is it?" says Daniel. "It's SCP-096."

They then saw a tall white skinny man sitting down, crying with his blood soaked hands. "Whatever you do, don't look at it's face." "Why not?" "Because if you do, you'll die," says Scientist 2. "No shit Sherlock." The duo covered their eyes and walked passed 096. After a few minutes, they enter the power room and turned on the door controls.

"That's a bingo," says Scientist 2. "Alright, can we leave now?" says Daniel. Scientist 2 nodded and they ran off. Daniel and Scientist 2 ran back through the facility, and then they finally arrived at Gate B. "Yes! We made it! Now we can go home!" says Scientist 2. "But what about me?" says Daniel. "Oh, don't worry. I will forget about what happened."

"So, I can just go home like I've did nothing wrong?" "Of course. You've earned it," Scientist 2 says as he unlocks the exit. As they walked outside, a voice on the intercom says: "SCP-682 just broke out of Gate B. I repeat: SCP-682 just broke out of Gate B." Daniel and Scientist 2 looked at each other, then they turned around. SCP-682 was standing behind them, but there was a small girl riding his back.

"Please don't hurt them Lizzie. I wanna go home," says the little girl. "Ah, hello 053," says Scientist 2. "Her name is Abby, not a number," 682 says before running away. "Why was a little girl riding that giant crocodile?" says Daniel. "Oh, SCP-053 somehow made a bond with 682; or as she calls him "Lizzie." "Right..." As they walked out of the facility, Daniel and Scientist 2 heard a familiar voice.

"Daniel? Is that you?" They both spun around to see Dr Anderson run up to them. "Dad?" says Daniel. They both ran up to each other and threw their arms around each other. "I'm so glad to see you alive Daniel." "So am I Dad." Scientist 2 walked up to Dr Anderson, then he noticed something weird. Dr Anderson was holding a jar, and inside the jar is a ball of orange slime.

"Umm, Dr Anderson?" "Yes?" "Why do you have SCP-999 in a jar; outside the Foundation?" Scientist 2 says as he points to the jar. Dr Anderson looked down at the jar and then he gave a small laugh. "Well I'm glad you asked!" Suddenly, a loud bang echoed from behind Scientist 2. He froze up and dropped the gun. "Are you ok?" says Daniel.

Scientist 2 looked at Daniel and coughed up blood. He then fell forwards and Daniel caught him. "What the hell?! What happened?!" Scientist 2 looked up at Daniel and he whispers: "Run." Daniel watches as Scientist 2 closed his eyes and died. Daniel dropped him on the ground and shouts: "What the fuck is going on?!" "Calm down and I'll tell you what's happening," Dr Anderson says as an armoured vehicle pulls up in front of them.

The back of the vehicle opens and a group of soldiers jump out. They point their guns at Daniel, but Dr Anderson then said: "Put your guns down. He's my son." He then gripped Tony's arm and drags him into the back of the vehicle. They all got into the vehicle and it drives off. "Dad? Who are these people?" Suddenly, Daniel gets a piece of cloth over his mouth.

He then slowly falls asleep, because it's coated in chloroform. "Don't worry. You'll get all the answers soon." Daniel tries to struggle, but eventually he falls asleep.
