It's another average morning in Ms. Nekonome's class as I stare off through the window, thinking about the past few days. Yukari apologized for all she's done to everyone in the past, she even apologized to me for insulting me so harshly. Hell, she even admitted to thinking I was cute. Of course, it was a little strange to come from a kid, but it was a nice gesture, but it was nothing compared to how she thinks of Tsukune. The guy has told me he is definitely not a lolicon, so thank God for that. I swear if I ever meet one, I'm going to jail. But on a better note, Yukari was impressed with how I used my tarot cards, but a little disappointed learning about my...condition. She says she'd make me more if I ever run out, but I don't want to burden her.
At this point, Yokai Academy approached its first semester. This was something I've been having in the back of my mind more than most others. But it's more prominent when I notice Tsukune gazing off with a thousand-yard stare as it gets closer and closer. It's no surprise either. The bus only comes once a month, it's not only his but my only contact with the human world, with his family. I share his situation.
The whole idea of only having outside contact once a month was frustrating, and I don't even want to get started on how the school's been saying they'll be installing Wi-Fi. That was the first week of school. At least the dorms have electrical outlets, hence why I could just stroll around campus, earbuds in my ears and my phone in my hands. I wonder if Kuru-
"What the hell am I supposed to do?!" Tsukune shouts as he stands up from his seat.
Everyone in the classroom stared at him, even I was starting to look worried for the guy. "It's simple, just answer this problem." Ms. Nekonome suggests. Tsukune realizes that she is talking to him and sits down back in his seat.
I should talk with him after class.
After class, I find Tsukune and Moka out on the roof. They seem to be talking about something serious by the looks on their faces. Either that, or they're doing their whole lovey-dovey thing where they say each other's names over and over. As I got closer, I could see Moka's about to bite the boy, but I pulled him away just in time, stopping her from feeding.
"Jeez, Moka. How many times have you fed on Tsukune today?"
Moka tries to look innocent. "Oh, come on. I didn't drink that much."
"He's right!" Kurumu says as she now shows up. "You can't just go around sucking Tsukune's blood like that!"
"Don't worry about it. I'm fine, see?"
"Dude. You literally look like a piece of jerky." I say as I point to his wrinkly-looking hands.
"Well, I have needs too Tsukune..." Kurumu says, leaning into Tsukune to make a move.
"Oh no you don't." I pull her away by her sweater vest. "Now what did I tell you about using that to impress a guy?"
"...That a worthwhile guy wants what's on the inside as well as the outside..." Kurumu says with a pout.
"That's right." I let her go.
Later, I'm helping Tsukune as we take out the trash from our dormitory. Now that we have a moment of peace and quiet for once, now might be a good time to see what's on his mind. "Hey, Tsukune. Is something bothering you?"
He looks to me, confused. "What do you mean?"
"The way you were looking out the window in class today, not to mention your little outburst. What's up with you, dude?"
"...It's...complicated."
I look around, making sure no one hears. "More complicated than a human in an all-monster school?"
I hear a light chuckle from said human. "...Fair enough." Tsukune has that same thousand-mile gaze as we walk outside the dorms. "It's just that... every time there was trouble or you or the others needed help...all I could do was just be the weakling. Even without magic, you are more useful in a fight, but me? I'm just a human weakling who has to rely on a bunch of girls to protect him, and a guy who can't normally use magic?"
"Tsukune..."
"The truth is... We should be the ones protecting all of them...but I'm just too weak. Is it...really better for everyone's interest if I stay at this Academy?"
"So...you're leaving?"
"No! Of course not...but-"
"Tsukune," I say firmly. "Don't sell yourself so short. Just look at all you did in your time here. You made a person not feel alone after many years. Kurumu wouldn't have her wings if you hadn't stepped in. Even Yukari owes you her life after saving her."
"But you did those things too!"
"That doesn't matter. They're all your friends, and... I'm glad to finally have a friend I can kind of relate to, you know?"
"Huh?"
"I may not show it, but I too sometimes feel useless in a fight. After all, I'm...I don't even know what I am, but I can't conjure my own magic. I mean, just look at how many times the other Moka saved our asses. But I'd do it all again in a heartbeat for you all."
The boy smiles at me. "Thanks, man. But..."
"But?"
"I still miss my parents and my cousin."
"Oh, yeah. The bus should be coming by today, right? What are you thinking?"
"I want to send them letters I've been writing down. I want to stay in touch with them. So when the bus driver shows up, I plan to send them."
"Hmm. Not a bad idea... Let me know when you head out, I'll go with you."
"There you are!"
"Huh?" Our moment of peace is disturbed when we turn a corner and see three boys, and they look angry...no, sad? Both? "Who are you guys?"
"You're Tsukune Aono and Elijah Everett, right?" the middle boy asks us.
"Yeah, and you are?"
"Fed up with you two!" The fat one says.
"Why?" I question.
"It's because you're our number one enemy!" the lanky one with glasses shouts.
"Wait, hold on, your enemy?!"
"We didn't even know you guys existed until now."
"Oh? Then allow us to introduce ourselves. Formation...set!" The three boys throw off their school uniform jackets, revealing...pink robes.
"What the fuck?"
"And start!" Each of them starts singing chants so utterly creepy and cringe-worthy that even I'm starting to feel violated by this pathetic display. From what I could get from...this, each of them is obsessed with one specific girl that both Tsukune and I are associated with.
"I think I'm gonna be sick..."
"I don't understand," Tsukune being the tamer. "why are you guys cheering for the girls that way? Wait...don't tell me..."
"Oh, we will!" the middle boy shouts. "I am the president of the Moka Akashiya fan club, Kozo Kasahara!"
"And there's more!" The fat one adds. "I am president of the unofficial Kurumu Kurono fan club, Bosaburo Taira!" So this is the creep that Kurumu told me about the other day who got caught staring at her.
"That's not all!" The lanky one comes in. "I am the president of the private Yukari Send-"
"Don't you fucking dare finish that sentence!" I interrupt, turning my disgusted look to Tsukune. "Dear God, Tsukune. It's a real-life lolicon."
"Hey! Don't interrupt our introduction!" He continues. "the name's Kubisaku Nagai!"
"And together we form..." They all say in unison. "The Cute-Girl Fan-Club Coalition!'
Silence fills the air, a chill runs down my spine as the three boys pathetically pose in front of Tsukune and me. I can't believe people like this actually exist...even a fucking lolicon. "Well, I'm not gonna remember any of those names."
"Yeah..." Tsukune adds as we turn around to leave. "Anyways, we got better things to do, so-"
"Hold it!" The Moka-obsessed one grabs both mine and Tsukune's shoulders, making us face the trio again. Now brandishing...
"Are those...paper cones?"
"The only thing you two are gonna do is face our fearsome fan club wrath!"
The three creeps begin to attack us with their pathetic choice of weaponry, well, they would've if I didn't hit them all at once with the trash bags I was carrying, splattering the garbage inside all over the ground. "Talk about taking out the trash."
"Ow..." The fat one groggily gets up from the ground. "Y-You'll pay for that!"
I sneer. "First you three call us your enemy, and now you attack me and my friend just because we're friends with the girls you obsess over?!"
"You two are undeserving of our goddesses!"
"Yeah! My Yukari needs a real man-" I grab the lanky one by his shirt collar, giving him a cold look in the eye.
"Finish that sentence...I fucking dare you." Before I could scare the kid anymore, three familiar objects appeared a few feet above the heads of the predators. Gravity did the job for me. All three creeps clutched their heads in pain from the impact of the bronze wash tubs. the cause of their appearance came into view, brandishing her newly repaired wand.
"Get away from them!" Yukari screamed at the three. They look to her, one too creepily, making me want to vomit.
"Like she said. You three better back off, unless you three want an ass-kickin'. If that's the case..." I whip out a tarot card from my jacket sleeve. "I'd be more than willing to oblige." The three looked at each other, evaluating their situation, before turning back to us.
"This isn't over!" Their leader shouted before the fanboy trio ran off, finally leaving us alone.
I sigh in relief. "Thank God, they're gone. I thought I was gonna waste a good card on those creeps." I look at my card, reading, 'Invisibility'. "Well, that wouldn't have done much." I turn to Tsukune, who looks a little distraught. "You good, man?"
"Yeah..." We hear footsteps, signaling the arrival of a succubus and a vampire.
"What happened?" Moka demanded, panting as she came to a halt.
"Nothing. just a few creeps being jealous over me and Tsukune being friends with you guys. They have this sick self-entitlement towards you three, even going as far as making...'clubs' in your name. They tried to attack us, with pathetic display."
The three girls glanced worryingly towards us boys, mostly Tsukune, who again had a thousand-yard stare. I think I know why...
"So, got everything ready?"
Tsukune nods, slinging his bag over his shoulder. "Yeah. Let's go."
"Right behind you."
Thanks to Tsukune's idea, I was able to jot down a quick letter for my parents during class, sneaking it between taking notes. And thanks to him, I also knew exactly when the bus would arrive so he and I could give our letters to the driver. So after school, we walked to the bus stop, Tsukune had quite a few letters compared to the lone one I had.
"You sure wrote a lot." I nudge him in the arm. "I guess you really miss your folks."
"Yeah. What about you? Don't you miss your family?"
"...I miss my mother mostly."
Tsukune tilts his head. "Do you not have a good relationship with your dad?"
I shrug. "It's not that. I just feel like he doesn't really understand me at times. Me being half human and half...magic, I guess, sometimes my struggles can be confusing to him and he doesn't really know what to do. I don't blame him, he does try to say the least."
"Well, that's good."
"Yeah. But enough about me, I saw that same look on your face after running into those bozos, what's up with you dude?"
"...You all stepped in again to help me."
"Oh..." Man, this must really be taking a toll on Tsukune...wait, I have an Idea. Once we reach the bus stop, I drop my bag, rolling up my uniform's sleeves. "Alright, put 'em up."
"Huh?"
"You wanna protect everyone, right? Show me what you got."
"Right now?!"
"Why not? The bus isn't here yet, let's kill some time. I can show you some basics."
Tsukune looks unsure. "...I don't know."
"Just one lesson."
"...Alright." The boy drops his letter-filled bag on the ground and now faces me with his fists raised, legs shaking, and an unsure look in his eye.
"Okay. First, don't let the adrenaline or the fear get to you, breathe slow, and deep. Relax. Also, get your feet firm and your hips squared to your opponent." Tsukune adjusts himself, getting his breathing under control as well. "Good. Next, let your opponent make the first move. Use your feet, when they go off-balance, look for an opening." I open my right hand next to my left cheek, indicating where the boy should hit. "Boom."
Tsukune hits my hand, but not enough to hurt me. "like that?"
"Yeah, yeah, that's it." I lower my arms. "Now, this time, let me have it. Right on the jaw. I can take it. Augh!"
Tsukune actually clocks me in my jaw, making me lose my balance for a moment. Wow...that actually hurt a bit. "Oh, Shi- Are you okay?! I'm sorry!"
I hold my jaw, slightly stinging. "No, no, no, it's good." I smile. "Damn, you got potential, Aono. You keep this up, you'll be fine."
He looks to me, a spark of hope in his eye. "You really think so?"
I nod. "Just don't get a big head about it." I playfully hit his shoulder, sharing a heartfelt moment of laughter with my friend. This is nice. "And about that whole 'being weak' thing, you shouldn't worry about it so much. They say the chain is only as strong as its weakest link. Those girls think the world of you, and I'm your friend too, Tsukune. We all protect each other in our own way."
The boy smiles, taking what I said truly to heart. "Thanks, man." Tsukune checks his watch. "The bus should be here soon. Do you think we should've told the others that we were coming here?"
"Nah. I'm sure Moka and the others won't miss us for too long."
"Where do you get off calling her 'Moka'?" Oh god... That familiar and creepy voice sends a chill down my spine, making me and Tsukune turn around to see...
"Dear God... What the hell do you want now?"
"She's one of our sacred Goddesses, so how dare you say her name so lightly, you punk?!"
"We don't know where you think you're going..." The fat one adds.
"...But you're off-campus now, so that means-"
"Seriously?" I interrupt the lanky one. "You three have nothing else better to do with your time? I mean besides being off in fantasy land." I make a very shameless gesture with my right hand.
"Silence, thief!" The average one shouts. "We declared our crusade would continue to free our loves from you and Aono's charms! We will prove our worth to them by eliminating you!"
"Okay, first of all, no one here is in a relationship with them, those girls are way too good for us, and one is literally a child. Second, even if by some godforsaken miracle you manage to 'eliminate' us, all it would do is piss them off. Trust me, you don't wanna get on their bad side...especially one of them." I point to them mockingly. "Thirdly, you three really think you can take us on? What are you gonna do? Whack us with your pathetic little paper cones?"
"That does it!" The fat one declared. "We'll show you our true forms!"
And with that, the stalker trio did just that. The average stalker placed the cone over his head, expanding into a brown umbrella over the upper-half of his body. On top of it, a large eye, mouth, and tongue appeared. "Umbrella!"
The fat one's neck flesh became a translucent blue, his body mass expanded further to the point where his shirt ripped apart. His facial features disappeared as well in the transition. "Bloooooob!"
Lastly, the lanky one's neck stretched to triple the length and became more like that of a snake's coils. "Stretchy neck!"
"...That's your true forms?" Tsukune asked dumbfoundedly.
"PPPFFFFHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" I bellow over laughing my ass off. This is their true form?! "I'm sorry, but you guys just look so stupid! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" My voice starts breaking as it goes into a high pitch. I haven't laughed like this in a long time, and boy does it feel good!
"Gah! You think our monster forms are pathetic too! That's why we hate you and Tsukune! All the girls in this school want to go after cool monsters! We have no chance like this!" Stretchy Neck lamented.
"Is that supposed to justify going after us?!" Tsukune asked equally incredulous at the situation.
"And we're not 'cool monsters', we're decent folk. Maybe get a good dose of reality for once in your pathetic lives."
"Tsukune!" With that shout, the three girls appeared from the woods, running at full speed to the two of us, ignoring the three stalkers and their pathetic forms.
"Moka?" Tsukune called as we were both surprised at the girl's sudden appearance.
"They're here!" the umbrella declared. "It's time to reclaim our Goddesses! Fan Club Coalition! Charge!" The three ran after the respective girl they obsessed over.
"Yukari, my love! You're a ripe fruit waiting to be plucked! I'm gonna wrap myself around that smoking hot little body of yours!" Stretchy attempts to do just that with his extended neck.
"Gross! Get away from me!" The young witch rightly made the choice to get away from her molester. Though it would be more satisfying to just summon an anvil on him.
"Kurumu! I have an unlimited abundance of love for you, so let's gaze lovingly at each other as the sun rises!" The Blob says to the Succubus.
Kurumu subsequently cringes at the idea. "How am I supposed to gaze at anything when you don't have a face you big, fat freak!"
Unfortunately, her claws prove useless against the gelatin-like mass, simply being absorbed by the slashes that have severed trees like they were nothing. It would've been lethal otherwise.
The Umbrella approached Moka, spinning the umbrella part of his body while subsequently spraying saliva from his mouth. "Moka! Let me be your umbrella of love! With me, the harmful rays of the sun will never reach your lovely alabaster skin!"
"Um, thanks but I already have an umbrella." Moka tries to answer kindly before she jumps away from his saliva rain. "Eugh! Get away!"
"...I think I'm gonna be sick." I gag.
"Me too, but we gotta do something!" Tsukune pointed out. To our disbelief, the creepy antics of these three had managed to discourage three capable girls into a corner in their attempts to get away from them. Shit. Okay, Everett, think! ...Got it! "Tsukue. Follow my lead...even though you might not like it."
"Huh?"
"Just trust me!" I turn my attention to the three creeps. "Hey! Perverted Trio!"
"So, you still go after our Goddesses?!" The fat one shouts.
"..." I'm so sorry about this, girls. "Yeah! That's right!" The amount of cringe and uneasiness going through my body right now is almost making me want to jump off that cliff, but it's a perfect diversion. "This has been a long time coming for me and my boy Tsukune here!" I rest my elbow on the boy's shoulder. "Do you have any idea what we want to do with these fine women?"
"Dude?!" Tsukune whispers. "What are you doing?!"
"Look! They're getting angry, and focusing their attention on us!" I whisper back, pointing to the creeps, each one bearing a furious glare...along with the girl's disgusted faces. I'm sorry, guys. "Just play along for now, then when the time's right, do as I say."
Tsukune looks unsure. Naturally, he wouldn't be able to say such grotesque sentences, but the boy ultimately complies...with a frown. "Alright..."
I nod, focusing my attention back to our soon-to-be victims of an ass-whooping. "Yeah... To think, guys like us are getting all the attention from such sexy individuals such as these."
"Y-Yeah! You have no idea how good we actually have it!"
"Mmm... I can still feel their touch..." I really am sorry, you guys!"
That last sentence sends them over the edge all three of them charging at me. "HOW DARE YOU TOUCH OUR GODESSESS!"
"When I say 'now' grab the necky one's body!" I whisper to Tsukune before I lead the trio away, chasing me. "Wow, you guys are really slow! I know that one's a blob, but come on! Try and keep up, will ya?!"
"I'll crush your bones into dust!" The blob replied.
"Now, Tsukune!"
The boy tackles the lanky one's body to the ground, while I grab his head that's been chasing me. "Huh?! L-Let go!"
"Not a chance, Lolicon!"
"I'm not a Lolicon!"
"You're literally going after a child! No offense Yukari!"
"None Taken!" The young witch answers.
"Now then..." With the molester's head in my arms, I run around the other two creeps, wrapping his disgustingly long neck around them like a gift on Christmas. now with the creeps tied in one spot... "It's time you things learn your place... Now, Tsukune!"
The young human runs toward us, aiming specifically for the umbrella, fitting since the abomination is obsessed with Moka, Tsukune punches him directly in his obnoxiously large eye, knocking him and his fellow creeps a few feet back.
"Yes! That's my boy!" I high-fived Tsukune, taking pride in my teachings. "You call yourself weak now?!"
"A little, but definitely not right now!"
"Hell yeah, dude!" We share a triumphant laugh before our attention is brought back to the girls...who still share the same look of disgust, uneasiness, and...surprise? I look to them apologetically, bowing my head in shame. "I'm really sorry I said...all that, I was just trying to get their attention on us..."
"Yeah...I'm sorry too." Tsukune adds as he bows as well.
"AMALGAMATION!" Before the girls could say anything about our grotesque diversion, we heard the voice of the three creeps call out in unison. The neck one showed surprising strength when he allowed the fat one to stand on his shoulders. The umbrella spun fast enough that he took flight and landed on top of the blob. In a flash of light, they had taken the form of some kind of giant abstract art monster. It's a large fleshy body with the face on the chest area. "Not so insignificant now, are we?!" The voices of the three pervs spike as one.
"..." I'd laugh at this disgusting display, but this could actually be a problem for Tsukune and me alone, the boy's tough, but not enough for a behemoth like this. "You're just a bigger, uglier mongrel." I reach for my jacket pocket for my cards, but the abomination of nature swings at me, I easily duck below, but Tsukune is hit behind me, causing himself to be flung into Moka. I scowl, knowing that my friend was hurt thanks to me being slow and not taking the situation seriously. This ends now, and these freaks have given me the green light.
"Alright, now I'm mad. Frost Breath!" My card disintegrates, and my lungs feel like they're being pierced with shards of ice. It's not painful, but I know the spell is taking effect, but not for long. "My turn!" I inhale, preparing for my attack, but before that can be done, a familiar light flashes from behind, and a surge of energy signals the arrival of someone else.
"You three! You're the ones who woke me?!" She demands, disgusted at the sight of this monstrosity. Unfortunately, her arrival only adds to their creepy affection for her.
"So cold... The silver hair! Those cold, beautiful eyes! She's the one we've been waiting for! We love you, goddess!"
"Please. I wouldn't approach any of you if you were the last men on earth."
"Such cruel words from our goddess. May we please have another?"
"Elijah."
"Yeah?"
The vampire sneers. "Care to give me a hand?"
I smile back. "With pleasure." Turning my attention back to my original target, I inhale once more. Like that of an ancient frost dragon, my breath releases a whirlwind of ice and frost, slowly freezing the amalgamation in its spot, just in time as I feel the effect of the spell wear off. "It's all yours, Moka"
The Vampire nods to me. "Now, get lost, losers." Charging the beast and delivering her signature roundhouse kick, shattering the ice as the three stalkers revert back to their human form, tumbling into the dirt. They do not get up, instead, they just lay there pathetically.
"I could've done that too..."
"Hmph. Sure you could've. And by the way..." The vampire punches my shoulder...really fucking hard. "That's my line. Know your place and never say it again. That was also for those grotesque things you said."
"Ow...I only said it to get their attention." I rub my shoulder, but I can't help but notice a hint of admiration in her eyes. "At least I did something, and hey, even lover boy over there managed to fight back today. I think I'm a pretty good teacher."
"...Hmph. Just because he knocked a monster down for a second, doesn't mean he's tough shit. Don't think your 'teachings' are doing the boy any good. You're going to end up getting him hurt, and you did!"
"Hey, at least he managed to do something this time!" I counter-argue.
"I'm fine Moka, and besides, Elijah is a good teacher," Tsukune adds.
"Tsukune," Moka says firmly. "You may have contributed to Elijah's fight, but you're still weak. But on another note, you and Elijah leaving doesn't work for me."
"Huh?"
"Wait, what?" I add.
"If you two left, there would be no blood at all from yours truly, or any other boy who isn't a pest. And if you left, especially Tsukune, it would break Moka's heart. The other one that is."
"And..." Kurumu approaches us boys. "Moka not sinking your fangs into you, Tsukune, would be a good thing, but still you can't go. And Elijah, who else would I listen to music with? You can't leave either!"
"Yeah, you guys, please don't go!" The young witch adds.
"What are you guys talking about? We're not leaving." Tsukune interjected. The eyes of the three girls widened...even Inner Moka's.
"But you were leaving with a packed bag!" Yukari insists.
"A bag full of letters." Tsukune corrects her. "I came here to ask the bus driver if he wouldn't mind mailing them for me."
Then the three girls brought their attention to me. I withdrew my envelope from my back pocket. "Same here. I wanna stay in touch with my folks too."
"wait a minute, so then that whole business about you wanting to leave school..." Kurumu begins.
"It wasn't real but a matter of Moka jumping to conclusions instead?" Yukari finishes.
All four of us look to Inner Moka, who looks away in a huff. I can barely hold back my snickering. There's a warmer side to the vampire all along. So, the vampire has a soft spot for the human? On cue, a horn signals the arrival of the bus. Tsukune and I promptly handed off the mail.
"So, if you don't mind, we'd really appreciate it, sir."
"Hmm... Sure, no problem, I don't mind. That all ya need?"
I nod. "Yes. Thank you."
"Keeping in touch with your folks is commendable. Take care." The bus leaves, heading back into the tunnel. Now, Inner Moka walks back up, snatching the rosary from Tsukune.
"I swear, you two are confusing."
"You're one to talk, you know?" I smile.
"Hmph. While you do have a higher place than most, don't go getting yourself and Tsukune killed again. Besides..." She glares at me with a sneer. "I'm interested to see your skills against a true fight."
"And get my ass kicked? Polite pass. Perhaps friendly sparring?"
"Deal." With that, she placed the rosary back, Outer Moka now caught by Tsukune. The highlight of the day is finally over.
"Tsunuke...please...I don't want you to leave..."
I look to the Succubus, smirking. "I didn't think you'd miss me that much."
She pouts, hitting me in my left arm. "Don't think about it too much, dummy." She laughs, but I can't help but see a slight touch of pink on her cheeks.
"Don't worry, you can't get rid of me that easily."
Dear Mom,
I know this means of communication is not ideal, but if Yokai Academy does not update in the future, this once-a-month letter exchange will have to do.
What you told me about the Academy was not far off. On my first day, I met a real vampire. She's really friendly and we're on good terms. I have also made friends with a Witch and a Succubus. I know what you're probably thinking, but don't worry. She's a good person at heart, I can see it. And before you jump to any other conclusions, they're all after a different guy. He's...like me, in a way.
Although it's been fun here at Yokai Academy, that doesn't mean there's been no conflict. There will always be bullies, and yes, I did end up in...four fights. One molesting orc, the now friendly succubus, three lizard men, and three pitiful degenerates, one of them being a lolicon. And yes, I used some of the tarot cards you made for me in case of emergencies, including clairvoyance, sparks, stone-skin, and frost breath. Now, before you scold me, I had no other option. You would've done the same if you were in my position, even Dad despite being human. They were as powerful as you said they would be, so thank you for practically saving my friends. Without you, I wouldn't have won those fights...along with someone else.
As for how I'll get more, my new witch friend has offered to make more whenever I run out. She's aware of my 'condition', but I said I wouldn't want to burden her, but I know yours would be more effective when I need to use them. But if you're not able to send me more, then I can get by with my friend's help.
Send my regards to Dad. I love you, Mom.
Elijah Everett.
"There were some construction delays that took a little longer than anticipated but at long last, class, I'm happy to announce that there are now phones in the campus store. One's that'll connect you to the human world, along with the school's new wireless internet service. With it, you'll be able to access the human internet an learn all about the human world!"
"WHAT?!" Tsukne and I shout simultaneously at Ms. Nekonome's announcement as we stand from our desks. Everyone stares at us in confusion.
You've got to be kidding me...
Ignoring our outbursts, Ms. Nekonome continues. "Additionally, the bus that used to come here only once a month, well, due to overwhelming demand, it'll be coming here once a day."
Moka is happy for Tsukune now able to properly communicate with his family, meanwhile I feel like im about to have an aneurism. Slamming my face into my desk, I groan. It was all for naught... Oh well, at least i can finally listen to my entire playlist now. Looking back up from my desk, I feel a light tap on my back from the Succubus seated behind me.
"You okay?" She whispers.
"I'll let you know when the migraine goes away..."
