Bee and Mirage looked at each other. Spike had left them be, but the young human had given the two a really good idea. They would have to talk to Prowl and Optimus, or so they thought. "You know, 'raj, Spike did have a really good idea about how to give Optimus more time with the young ones they have" Bee stated, "but I think the idea is incomplete."
"Why do you think it is incomplete, Bee?" Mirage asked, puzzled. He wanted to know what Bee was thinking.
"Well, in order for Optimus to really get to spend time with his own sparklings, we need to do something for Aquaformer so that she gets some time alone. You know how much she treasures getting a bit of time to be alone. We should also talk to Ratchet to see if he can help with this" Bee replied, wanting to help both Aquaformer and Optimus.
"I like the idea. I just hope nothing happens" Mirage stated. He was a little more cautious than Bee was at times.
"Megatron is dead and most of the rogue cons have been caught. I think it would be ok" Bee answered, and soon the two began trying to plan something special for Optimus and Aquaformer. Mirage and Bee could only hope that Optimus and Aquaformer would appreciate the upcoming surprise.
Meanwhile, unaware of the plans being plotted for them, Aquaformer and Optimus were enjoying each other's company. They had just had some adult fun, reinforcing their bond. Optimus held his mate close, so glad that they were finally a family. Neither was aware that this fun had also resulted in more than just reinforcing the bond. Aquaformer curled into her mate, almost purring as he rubbed her back. "Are you okay, my love?" Optimus asked, a little concerned.
"I will be fine, my beloved. Keep in mind we just had updates in the med bay. It will take just a bit longer before they are fully online" Aquaformer explained. She was tired, but blamed it on that.
"If you say so, my love. Do you think we should go get the young ones?" Optimus queried.
"I'm tired, but if you wish to pick them up, you may" Aquaformer answered with a yawn. She was ready to recharge, as her body was demanding it now that they had had their alone time.
"Alright, my love. You rest. I'll go get them" Optimus replied, kissing his mate softly on the cheek before he left. Aquaformer fell into recharge, her body needing it. Optimus went to go get the young ones. Little did he realize what was in store for him.
