Meanwhile, unaware that her mate Optimus and some of the other Autobots were after her, Aquaformer continued on her journey. She had no idea where she was going, but she felt she had to get away from where she had been. Had Aquaformer been in her right processor, she would have realized that she was running from friends and allies, but thanks to the unknown sparklings growing in her chamber, her processor wasn't fully online and her habit of sleep walking when she was young came back to bite her in the aft. She kept going for now, needing to find a safe place.
Elsewhere, Optimus cursed his large, slow form. While a semi truck was big and powerful, it was also bulky and slow. It was not that he wished he could fly, but he felt a need to find and reach out to his mate who was out of it. He kept moving, trying to follow his spark to where she could be. And he didn't like the direction they were heading, as the temperature was dropping and slick ice and snow were near or on the road. He could only hope the aerial bots or one of the other flying Autobots could find her before she reached an area where he could no longer get to her.
And yet Elsewhere in the skies above, all the flying Autobots were searching the skies. None of them knew Aquaformer that well, but they knew they needed to find her. "Any luck?" Powerglide commed to Skyfire and the five aerial bots.
"Nothing here" Silverbolt answered.
"Nothing here" answered Fireraid and Sling shot. The news was the same from the other two aerial bots.
Powerglide sighed a bit. "Anything for you, Skyfire?"
Skyfire analyzed the air around. He found a faint jet trail. "I found a faint jet trail, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's hers. Nevertheless I will follow it. Please update Prime for me" Skyfire answered as he took off, having no idea he really was on Aquaformer's tail.
"Powerglide to Prime, come in Prime"
"Prime here, Powerglide. Do you have an update for me?"
"Yes" replied Powerglide, "Skyfire stated he found a faint jet trail and is following it. He can't confirm it is hers, but he will follow it. The rest of us are still searching for any other clues."
"Report received, please continue search. Prime out" Optimus replied. He could only hope and pray that Skyfire had found Aquaformer's jet trail. Only time would tell. He began to head in the direction Skyfire had taken. Now, it was time to rescue Aquaformer even if that meant rescuing her from herself.
