Chapter 1: Fright Night:
Sonic's POV:

We spooky creatures
With our kooky features
Gonna hit the street
Watch out
We ghouls and critters

As we trick or treat
We'll have some fearful fun
Scar: And extra bags to fill

As we give you a chill
On our fright night
We'll have our night of fright
There are houses to be haunted
There are choc'late bites to bite
On our fright night
It's a dark delight
Billie: It's not just about the candy

"Ahlright, may we go bahck een ze sahfe Section Twelve now? I do naht like being out here on hahlloween night."
"Do you have to be afraid of everything," asks Scar, "you don't even have a good costume, you have to be the lamest pirate ever."
"I ahm naht a peerahte," says Antoine.
"Mah sugar man 'n aah are Romeo 'n Juliet, from that earth play," says Bunnie.
"Good call on the costumes, Sonic," says Knuckles, "we really look scary."
"Yeah," says Tails.
Knuckles, Tails, and I are dressed like certain slasher characters. Knuckles is Jason Voorhes, Tails is Freddy Krueger, and I'm Michael Myers and I don't mean the actor.
"Hisssss," says Amy, "watch out for the sssssnake. Though, SSSSSally'sssss got a lot more."
Amy's a snake and Sally's Medusa.
Mina's Paula, the Ape Woman, Julie-Su's a martian, Cream's a fairy, Big's an ogre, and Rotor's a ghost.
"There's Team Chaotic," says Rotor.
We met up with Chaotic. Vector's Leatherface, Espio's Ghostface, Charmy's a ventriloquist dummy, and Mighty's the blob.
"Team Dark's not into trick or treating," says Scar.
Scar's a baseball player, Billie's a mad scientist, and Day's Lizzie Bordan. She's a hero of Day's.
"Hey Scar!" Some of Scar's classmates showed up. Drew, he's a skeleton, Brice, a pirate, and Luciana, she's a clown.
"Hi Drew." Scar's developed a crush on Drew, but wouldn't admit it. Probably because he didn't get along with Scar's DNA progenitor in San Francisco.
"SSSSScar'sssss right, Antoine," says Amy, "it'sssss Halloween, it'sssss sssssupposssssed to be ssssscary."
"First of ahll, you ahre overdoing een on zat heesseeng ahnd secahnd, I cahnnaht help eet eef I ahm often ahfraid. Might I remind you zat dr. rahbotneek ruined my chahnces of getteeng prahpair traineeng?"
"Why don't we check out that house," Scar suggests.
"But zat hahs to be ze spookiest house," says Antoine.
"That's where you find the best candy," says Scar.
"Actually, ow-wah bags are gettin' too full by now," says Bunnie.
"One of you can use mine," says Day, "I don't really like candy... or anything that's sweet."
Sugar is to the Addams Family what trash is to normal people.

"I heard the witch, Raven Shadowsoul lives here," says Big, "and she's not too friendly."
"We should turn around," says Amy.

"She's naht hahme, lets go," says Antoine.
"Sweety, we haven't even touched the door yet," says Bunnie.
Scar rings the doorbell and Raven Shadowsoul answers. "Trick or treat," we all said.
"Didn't ya see the signs," asks Raven Shadowsoul.
We then looked at the signs:
"Stay Away!"
"Begone!"
"Free Parking!"
"Whoops," says Raven Shadowsoul. She then grabs that last one. "I don't even know why I have this one." She then closes the door.
"Well, zat wahrks out."
Scar won't stop bothering her.
"Alright," says Raven Shadowsoul, "hocus pocus, here's my pick, give these pests a scar trick!"
The doorknob then turns into a monster and Antoine screams real loud.
"Yeah, my house talks to everyone," says Day.
"Well, your costumes aren't very scary," says Raven Shadowsoul.
Day then aims her ax at Raven Shadowsoul. "Give my friends their candy," says Day.
"Okay, maybe I do have something special for you," says Raven Shadowsoul, "very special. Come on in." We then all entered.

"This place is creepier than Day's," says Bunnie.
"I hahpe threateneeng hair weeth zat fahke ahx will get us zat cahndy," says Antoine.
"Right, fake," says Day.
"Are you related to the Frumps," asks Raven Shadowsoul.
"My mother's side, "says Day, "her name's Morticia."
"I thought so," says Raven Shadowsoul, "I'm the one who killed your Grandparents!"
"Oh, that was you," says Day, "my Mother and I still speak with them in a seance."
Raven Shadowsoul then gets out her book.
"Are you going to read us a Halloween story," asks Big.
"Double, double, toil and trouble," says Raven Shadowsoul, "fire burn and cauldron bubble!" I'm guessing she got this from Shakespeare.
"I don't think it's a storybook," I said.
"Stalk of mushroom, straw of broom, change them into their costumes!"

Sonic the Hedgehog's Trick or Treat takes place between Chapter 116 of Sonic the Hedgehog and the One Year Later Epilogue. Sonic and some of his friends are visiting for Halloween. Grappler's at the Wachowski's House, passing out candies. In the next chapter, Sonic and the others experience their changes.
