An enraged Optimus soon met up with an even more enraged Aquaformer. They both were livid about the fact that they were not personally notified that their sparklings were going to be moved, especially to outside of the base. Aquaformer and Optimus looked extremely angry and bots quickly got out of the way, all hoping they were not the target of the rage and most were relieved when the pair kept going. The rest of the Autobots may not have realized why the two were mad, but they knew well enough that once the pair found the bots they were angry at, all hell would break loose, or so they assumed.
Mirage and Bumblebee were still outside, watching all the little ones that Optimus and Aquaformer had as well as Jazz and Prowl's little ones. Mirage suddenly got a bad feeling. Bee noticed quickly. "What's wrong, Mirage?" Bee asked, a bit alarmed that the normally chill bot was acting off.
"Something feels wrong…I'm not sure what, but I have a bad feeling" Mirage barely got out of his mouth before Bee and Mirage turned to look and observed a very upset Optimus and a livid Aquaformer. Both Bee and Mirage swallowed hard.
"What is this?" Optimus demanded to know. He didn't take kindly to others putting his sparklings in danger.
Bee froze, a bit shocked to see the two angry bots, especially since no one had ever seen Optimus this mad, even at Megatron. "We…we were just trying to give them a chance to explore outdoors" Mirage answered nervously. Aquaformer looked like she was about to blow a gasket. She wanted, oh did she want to ream them a new one and read them the riot act, but Optimus stopped her.
"You take them outside and don't even bother to tell us. You make my mate nearly lose her mind with worry and you don't see a problem with this?" Optimus asked, hoping to keep his mate from absolutely exploding at these two, as while Optimus was angry, he knew these two were good bots. He also knew if Aquaformer went off, she would say extremely hurtful things that she would regret later. She was just that type.
Mirage looked down, knowing he had screwed up. "We are sorry, Optimus, sir. We just were trying to help. We didn't expect Aquaformer to come for them for a little while and we would have had them inside by then. Please forgive us. This will not happen again. We will comm one of you if we decide to move the little ones" bee finally said, speaking up.
Aquaformer was still angry, but Optimus stopped her. "That is all we want" Optimus answered sternly in his most Prime voice.
"And should you fail, I won't be so quiet or controlled next time" Aquaformer finally spoke, still seething in anger, but trying not to blast the two from here to kingdom come. Bee and Mirage nodded, only now realizing just how deadly and protective the femme was. And with that, Optimus and Aquaformer took their sparklings home, leaving Bee and Mirage to think about what they had done. They soon realized they had lucked out. And so they would remember next time to comm Aquaformer or Optimus or they knew it would be bad, and neither wanted that.
