For the first several days after Stealth's arrival, Stealth and Aquaformer managed to miss seeing each other, though every other bot, including Optimus, had met Stealth. Optimus was actually heading for home from meeting the bot. He soon entered the quarters. Aquaformer was scrambling to get the young sparklings fed and down for a nap. Optimus was a bit surprised. "Love, do you need help?" Optimus asked, having forgotten he was supposed to be home an hour ago.
Aquaformer shot her mate an angry look. "Well, if you had showed up when you were supposed to, this wouldn't be happening" Aquaformer bit back, clearly overwhelmed and irritated. She was also running low on energon and patience.
Optimus sighed. He knew she was right. "I'm sorry, my love. I had to meet a new bot. He arrived from Cybertron a several days ago. But, I'm here now" Optimus responded and finally helped his mate get the little ones down for their naps.
Now that the little ones were napping, Aquaformer looked at her mate. "Who the hell would come from Cybertron that would be so important that you would forget your own family?" Aquaformer demanded to know, unaware that she would absolutely hate the answer.
"Well, his name is Stealth.." was as far as Optimus got before he saw a murderous rage take over his mate. She looked like she was ready to slaughter a bot without a care in the world. Optimus was shocked, as he had never seen his mate look like this, and it was absolutely terrifying. "Aquaformer?" Optimus carefully queried.
"I'll destroy him, if he comes near me or my family, I swear I will destroy him and not leave one bolt connected to another" Aquaformer dangerously hissed. She had decided that she wasn't going to run from the bot who mistreated her – not this time. Optimus wasn't sure what to do and made the mistake of grabbing her. In her rage, Aquaformer picked up Optimus and threw him across the room before leaving. She was on the hunt and nothing was going to stop her, not even her mate.
After the femme left, Optimus commed Ratchet, asking the medic to come to the quarters. When Ratchet arrived, he was stunned. "What happened to you?" Ratchet asked, having rarely seen Optimus have this kind of damage. Optimus explained what had happened, and Ratchet sighed.
"Why do you sigh? Aquaformer will terminate the mech if she finds him" Optimus retorted, in pain from the minor injuries he had.
"Aquaformer obviously didn't tell you. Stealth is the bot who took advantage of Aquaformer several times due her naivety at the time and hurt her badly by beating her up. She was young and weaker at the time. Now that she is older and stronger, she seems to feel the only way to get justice is to take it into her own hands" Ratchet relayed, stunning Optimus. For all he thought he knew about his mate, he realized that there were still some things she didn't feel comfortable telling him and that hurt.
"We better go after her…I don't want her hurt or worse just for some kind of 'justice'" Optimus said, and the two bots got a babysitter for the little ones before heading out. The only question now was could they find her before she found Stealth?
