Chapter 1: The Four Symbols:
Zhao's POV:
It was not easy, but I managed to escape from Hell. I had one thing on my mind, revenge on the man who put me in there, but he has powerful friends, so to do it, I must obtain a power of my own!
Sonic's POV:
We were at Section Twelve, getting ready for Chinese New Year, but then the alarm went off. "What's that," I asked.
"I set up that alarm in case of interdimensional rifts," says Tails, "we better take a look at what it could be."

We looked on the screen and saw it was Longsun Zhao. "Are we going to have to put up with him every Chinese New Year," I asked.
"We better find out what he's up to," says Knuckles.
. . .
We went over to the spot where he popped up.
"Judging by these tracks," says Espio, "he's this way!"

We were at this museum.
"But what could Zhao want," asks Jet.
. . .
We were searching, but then we had a surprise. "It is good to see you all again," says Master Chen.
"I'm guessing you know Zhao's back," I said.
"Yes, he seeks the power of the Four Symbols," says Master Chen, "the Azure Dragon of the East, the Vermilion Bird of the South, the White Tiger of the West, and the Black Tortoise of the North. He plans to use their power to destroy all of you so he may kill the one he seeks revenge on!"
"Hey, he should just come and face me himself," I said.
"It is not you he desires revenge on," says Master Chen, "it is you!" He pointed to Jet.
"Me," asks Jet.
"It was you who used the staff to defeat him and then had him tortured by the Kings of Hell," says Master Chen, "you are his target!"
"Bad Day," says Jet.
"So, we find Zhao and stop him from getting these powers," I said, "where do we go?"
"You must go in the directions of the four symbols," says Master Chen, "the power of the Azure Dragon is in Hong Kong, the power of the Vermilion Bird is in Mexico City, the power of the White Tiger is in Nashville, and the power of the Black Tortoise is in the Arctic!"
"Then those are the places we gotta go to," I said.
"Once he gets those powers, he will have the powers of wood, fire, metal, and water!"
"Then we better get going," says Knuckles.
"Where did you say the first one was," I asked.
"Hong Kong," says Master Chen.
"Let's go," I said.
We were then on our way to Hong Kong...
