Chapter 3: Vermilion Bird:
Sonic's POV:
Our next stop was Mexico City.
"It was so awkward with Jade's parents," says Scar, "but it was kind of nice to meet them for Chinese New Year."
"Right now, we have to focus on finding the power of the Vermilion Bird before Zhao does," says Jet.
"He already has the power of the Azure Dragon," I said, "now, let's check out Mexico City."

We were at the Lincoln Park Aviary.
"So, think there might be something here," asks Knuckles.
"Well, there are birds here," says Amy.
"Just keep an eye out for Zhao," I said.
"So far, I don't see him," says Jet.
Zhao's POV:
They assume it's in that aviary, but I know where the power really is... with the Golden Eagle, Mexico's national flag! I then walked away.
Jet's POV:
As we were searching, I stopped when I saw a flag and that's when I realized something... "The Golden Eagle!"
Sonic's POV:
We found Mexico City's big flag.
"So, you did figure it out after all," says Zhao, "I suppose you're all smarter than I thought."
"Let's take this guy down," I said.
"Fun fact about the power of wood," says Zhao, "it allows me to control any plant!"
Then vines came out of the ground and started grabbing at us.
"That's just cheating," I said.
We had to fight back against the vines. Jet was fighting Zhao.
"Long have I waited to have my revenge on you, Jet Li," says Zhao.
"I will not let you win," says Jet.
Jet and Zhao then fought.
I then saw the statue on the top of the flag. "There it is," I said. I then ran up the flag and grabbed the statue. Zhao then started attacking the flag, causing me to drop the statue, but Scar gets it and accidently breaks it.
"NNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO," shouts Zhao.
Scar now has fire powers. "Cool," says Scar.
Zhao gets annoyed and leaves.
"Well, at least he can't get it," I said.
"Not exactly," says Tails, "according to this, whoever gets the last statue, gets them all!"
"Wait, you mean if he gets number four, he could take Scar's new fire powers," I asked, "that's just dumb. Let's go." We had to find the others.
