Optimus sighed. This was not what he had expected. And he wasn't sure if Aquaformer would be understanding about this whole fiasco. "Wheeljack, what did you do?" Optimus asked, though it didn't sound like a Prime but a bratty kid.
Wheeljack looked at Optimus. "Well, it wasn't supposed to do this" he replied, causing Optimus to sigh again.
It was then that a staticky message came through on Optimus' comm. "Optimus….Optimus… come in" it was Ratchet and he didn't sound happy.
"Prime here" Optimus tried to say, but it came out sounding anything but like Optimus.
"Where… are… you?" the answer came back, having received the message.
"Jack's lab" was all that went across the comm from Optimus.
Within minutes, Ratchet was at Jack's lab. He was very concerned. Optimus hadn't sounded right. Ratchet forced open the doors and saw nothing at first. "Optimus? Come on, you're too big to hide in this small lab" Ratchet's voice boomed to the small Autobots.
Soon, Optimus, Hide, and Jack came forth. Ratchet was stunned. No wonder Optimus was not only hard to reach but also hard to find. "Ratchet, why do you seek me?" Optimus asked, though it didn't sound like how Optimus usually sounded.
"Aquaformer has been losing her mind trying to find you and the sparklings" Ratchet loudly announced or so it seemed to the small bots.
Optimus sighed, as he knew this wasn't good and with Aquaformer being sparked, she wouldn't think this was funny or good at all. "Can you help me find her, Ratchet?" Optimus asked. Ratchet nodded. Optimus then turned to Jack. "You need to fix this pronto" Optimus demanded and Jack nodded. This was not going to be easy.
Meanwhile, Aquaformer was in her berth. Her music was back on but she didn't have the strength to get the little ones or find Optimus. She was low on energon and she just tried to rest, hoping her mate would soon return. She had no idea what had caused him to ignore her this time, but she hoped he still loved her even as she carried again. Her sparking was really playing with her mind and emotions this time. Her sparklings were safely elsewhere for now as she just needed time to herself to rest as this sparking was taking so much out of her. She hoped all would be back to normal soon, but she would soon learn that wasn't the case and no one would be able to foresee her reaction to the news.
