CHAPTER 1

Team Samui's mission to the Hidden Leaf Village wasn't as eventful or informative as they'd hoped. The information they were provided with was minimal at best due to the aftermath of Pein's assault, and Karui nearly sparked an international incident when she put her hands on a Leaf shinobi who refused to fight back. While the mission itself wasn't a complete bust, dealing with Karui and Omoi proved to be ever exhausting.

"Oh, my shoulders." The team leader commented.

They'd been giving her trouble again recently. She hadn't suffered an injury or anything like that, they were just sore because of her well-endowed figure. Omoi had said as much on their mission when she briefly complained about them. At least she was back home where she could get them both treated properly.

"Shoulders giving you trouble again I see." Another voice spoke.

Naruto, her husband. Honestly, she hadn't expected to see him so soon after coming through the front door. He was out on a mission the same as her last she checked. But then again, he could have completed his assignment at any time while she was gone. It wouldn't have been the first time he did.

"They've been acting up since my last mission." She admitted.

She was doing her best to sooth them herself as she kicked her sandals off. Normally she would take her time and put them away properly, but she wasn't in the mood. Her shoulders were stiff, she had to deal with Karui and Omoi's antics, Killer Bee was still missing, Sasuke Uchiha was on the loose, and the Akatsuki was on the move. She just wanted a few hours of rest and relaxation before she was inevitably sent out again to deal with another problem.

"Well, maybe I could help with that." Naruto smiled.

He walked over to her and planted a small kiss on her lips. Samui momentarily ignored her aches and pains and returned the warm show of love and affection. This was definitely a good start to that whole rest and relaxation thing she felt she desperately needed. Eventually they broke away for some much-needed air, but Naruto could see the small smile that had formed on Samui's usually stoic face.

"You already are." She assured him before another thought came to mind.

As Naruto walked around her to pick up and put away the sandals she so carelessly kicked aside, she noticed that another presence was missing from the house. Their son Boruto hadn't popped out and greeted with a hug like he usually did whenever she returned home from a mission. That could only mean that he was probably still Yu's house since that's where he stayed whenever she and Naruto were both out on missions.

"I take it Boruto is still at Yu's?" Samui asked.

"Yup." Was Naruto's reply, confirming her thoughts.

Thank goodness for civilian friends. They were both still in their prime when Boruto was born and since neither was ready to leave shinobi duty behind quite yet, having a friend who wasn't a ninja and willing to watch their kid while they were away, was a great boon. Yu didn't even charge them a whole lot for extended mission either.

"So, then we have the whole house to ourselves." Samui said to herself.

"That we do. That we do." Naruto whispered in his wife's ear.

Samui gasped lightly when she felt his hands on her shoulders. Slowly he began to work his fingers into her skin and the sore muscles that lay underneath. Whatever aches she felt soon melted away into something more pleasurable and soothing. It was almost like being tended to at the spa except that she wasn't being charged.

"How does this feel?" Naruto asked.

"Good. Very good." Samui answered.

She didn't know how Naruto did it. He just seemed to have magic fingers and knew which area required the most attention from him. Maybe it was his shinobi training and knowledge of the human body, or perhaps he was just naturally talented like some people were. Whatever the case she wasn't going to complain.

"This is cool and all, but let's take this upstairs." She sighed.

"Your wish is my command." Naruto grinned.

He momentarily ceased his ministrations and caught his wife by surprise as he scooped her up bridal style in his arms. The ever-stoic woman had the faintest makings of a blush trying to form on her face and only through sheer strength of will did Samui keep it from fully being realized. Instead, she just settled in Naruto's arms as he began to the trek upstairs to their room.

"Kinda reminds you of our wedding, huh?" He chuckled.

It kind of did. Samui never really did see herself as wife material, but that was largely due to her stoic nature and that seemed to push a lot of people away early on. Naruto never minded though and could be expressive enough for the both of them. On and off the battlefield they just got on well and that eventually led to them tying the knot. He carried her bridal style that early summer morning it was a moment in time she would never forget. That and her brother Atsui teasing her about it when the honeymoon was over. Not cool.

"Yeah, kind of." She finally let herself smile more visibly.

"Thought so." Naruto smiled back.

He loved it whenever he saw his wife smile. She was stoic by nature so whenever she did it felt special and was a beautiful sight to behold. Once they finally reached the top of the stairs, Naruto wasted little time walking to their bedroom. It was just the two of them, home at last with no missions and some much-needed alone time.

Naruto gently placed Samui down on the bed and she rolled over so that she was lying flat on her stomach. A soft bed felt so nice as opposed to roughing it in the woods while traveling. Even a sleeping bag or tent could only do so much.

"Comfortable?" Naruto asked already knowing the answer.

"Yes." Samui confirmed. This was the most comfortable she'd been in days.

"Good. Good. I suppose you want me to work on your back too." Naruto added.

"Yes." Samui repeated. She was ready for Naruto to get back to work.

He took a seat on the bed next to her and whispered. "What will you do for me after?"

Her cerulean, blue eyes met his own and she whispered back. He listened closely and his eyes widened a fraction after his wife was finished. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. He just had to make sure that his ears weren't playing tricks on him.

"A-Are you serious?" He stuttered out. Samui nodded with a rare triumphant smirk on her face.

"But only if you do a good job."

Naruto nodded himself before he got right to work gently mending the knots in his wife's back. It became clear as day that she'd been more stressed than she let on. He'd get rid of all that ailed her and earn that reward. He was Naruto Uzumaki of the Hidden Cloud Village and he never backed down from a challenge. Believe it!

FIN...!
