Chapter 1
A HEROIC NIGHT PART 1
California, 11 am
I was on my phone when I had an idea for my new design. I have started working on a dress. It was a pink dress, with diamonds on it. It was for an important costumer, so I was in a hurry. I am a designer and I like my job. I have a pretty normal life. I mean, I had a pretty normal life. Things started to get messy that night. I heard yelling coming from outside, so I opened the window. It was a ... frozen person? I was scared so I closed the window again. Someone literally froze outside. As I was thinking, it was summer, and outside were -3 degrees. But how? Then I heard someone say:
Now you will be statues, because you didn't like my statues!"
What did she mean by that? Suddenly, my mum entered the room.
"Honey, please stay in your room. Something strange is happening outside. People are freezing out of nowhere and its -20 degrees."
"WHAT? But there were only -3"
"Well the situation is not good. "
Then my mum left. I decided to go to sleep because I hoped that this was a dream and tomorrow everything will be back to normal. I went to sleep. As I was sleeping, I think it was 2 am or so, I heard a whisper. I instantly woke up, in fear because I thought it was the person that froze people outside earlier. I don't know why, but I started screaming. It was a small creature, brown with small ears. It said:
"STOP SCREAMING PLEASE. I don't want to hurt you."
Her voice was so cute and innocent that it made me calm down.
"Who even are you?! And what are you doing in my room?"
"I am Bearzy and I came here because you have been chosen for a very important quest."
"What do you mean?"
"You have to defeat The Queen of Snow. She is the one that froze that many people outside.''
"The Queen of Snow in the middle of summer? That's funny."
"Pay attention! You have been chosen for this quest because you have a pure heart. You must defeat her. I will give you all the power you need."
"Power?"
"Yes. I am the Bear Kwami and I can give you the power to be as fast and brave as a bear. The ultimate power can be activated by saying 'BEARIZMAN' and you get an object you could save the day with."
"Will I be some kind of superhero? I want to do this! Deal!"
"Now I will tell you the magic words. To transform, say 'Bearzy, power on''
"Bearzy, POWER ON!"
"No wait! I still have a lot to expla-"
Then she faded away. I was wearing a cool brown costume. I had another pair of ears, bear ears. I also had black glasses. I loved that costume so much!
"I will defeat you, Queen of Snow!"
What if my mum will find out I sneaked out of the house? I had to fill my bed with something. I took some pillows and put them under the blanket. I was ready to leave. I hurried because I heard mum's footsteps. I exited on the window since I had powers and it wasn't dangerous anymore. Everyone was giving me strange looks but I ignored them. I had to find The Queen of Snow. She was still freezing people and it was getting colder and colder. After half an hour of searching in town, I finally found her.
"ALMOST EVERYONE IS FROZEN! AND THEY WILL BE FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE. MUHAHAHAH."
"I don't think so, Queen of Snow or whatever!"
"You are funny. What are you supposed to be? A mouse?"
She made fun of my costume, so she was going to pay.
"Take this!"
I ran at her and I was so close to put her down, but she put me down instead.
"You believe you are a hero, but you're just a naive girl who thought she would defeat me."
I was done. She was just leaning to take my ring, when ...
"Not so fast!"
I was shocked. It was a boy who was wearing some kind of costume. LIKE ME! I had hope he will save me. I didn't know whether he was my partner or a bad person.
"I am laughing so hard right now. You are just like this naive girl who-"
Then he managed to free me with his powers. The queen of Snow was floating in the air.
"How did you do that?" I asked.
"I have powers just like you. What's your name?"
"My name is Bearzy. Yours?''
"Mine is Panzie."
As we were talking, we completely forgot about The Queen of Snow who was floating in the air thanks to Pandie's powers.
"These powers are coming from evil magic. I think it is in one of her accessories."
"EVIL MAGIC?! WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"
"Didn't your Kwami tell you?"
"HEHE. I rushed to transform.''
"Let's break the-"
Then Pandie froze. Now I figured out that his power only lasted 15 seconds. I was on my own now. How could I defeat her alone?
"THIS IS HIRARIOUS. YOU COULD HAVE DEFEATED ME, BUT YOU TALKED TOO MUCH. HAHAHAH"
Oh no. Next time I won't talk that much. She tried to freeze me but she didn't succeed. I was as fast as a bear, like the Kwami said.
