F3: Welcome to chapter 2 of Neptunia. We left off where an unknown woman was seen after IF and the twin dealt with the horde and now a video shown that involved Rei? Time to find out what. Neptunia is owned by Idea Factory and Compile Heart. With that said Let's Begin!
Chapter 2: Something New.
The door opened to a house as Kaito entered the dark home as he had a rather tiring day from working in the bascilicom in the medical department especially checking on a certain oracle. Honestly he was glad that Lady Blanc gave him the position thanks to his experiance and he was never one to complain about his job but the hours he spent away almost every day working was rather tiring.
He placed his suitcase down on the table before taking off his shoes and unfastened his tie before heading upstairs. Though he made one stop as he was heading to his room was his daughters room as he opened it slightly to check in on her. He saw IF sleeping rather peacefully under the covers of her bed.
He gently walked over to her side of the bed making sure not to wake her up as he gently brushed some of her brown hair out of her face before giving her a small kiss on her forehead. She stirrred a little but didn't wake much as he walked out of her room closing the door carefully.
After changing into his nightwear he didn't go to bed right away instead he went through another door which lead to a secret room that he had built into the house to hide something from her that he'd hope that she never find it. Inside was a large room that in the center was a large object covered by a blanket expect for like a small piece of the object that had a label on it.
The label read XIF147.
He sighed silently "I really wish for you to live a full life IF. Even if you aren't my daughter I'll protect you and pray you don't find out who you really are." He said before leaving the room without much thought.
=HDN=
Morning came for Lowee as Blanc was already awake and working but she still couldn't get that video that she saw out of her head about those scientists actually creating a living infant. Something about that just bothered her to no end which is why she needed to call a meeting with the other CPU's a talk to them about this as she already called them.
Mina came into her office "Lady Blanc the others have arrived." Mina stated.
"Show them in Mina." Blanc said as Mina opened the door fully allowing the other CPUs to come inside.
The first one had a young figure with short wild lilac colored hair and purple colored eyes. She wears a white and purple hoodie that is zipped up with a large N symbol on it with two crosses on the pockets. On her neck is a white choker with a light blue D-pad symbol. In her hair are two white d-pad clips. She also wears dark purple shoes with white and cyan colored stockings. This is Neptune from Planeptune
The second girl to her left is a girl with a slender fiigure and red eyes along with long black hair with her hair being tied into two long pigtails that reach her waist with blue ribbons. Her outfit consists of a maid-like black top with golden trimmings and white frills around her upper arm and chest aslo revealing the top portion of her cleavage. Her skirt is white with black trimming and rather frilled compared to her top and goes down to her lower-thigh. She also wears black thigh length stockings. This is Noire of Lastation.
The final girl is has an adult woman figure and who is the most busty one of the four of them. She has long blonde hair that goes down to her waist in length. Her attire consists of a green and peach colored dress with the top being a dark green that has lining onit and being sleeveless as well as revealing a consideratble portion of her cleavage that is covered through a veil. She wears a red ribbon her neck and has detached upper-arm portions of her dress's sleeves and has frilled gloves on her hands. This is Vert of Leanbox.
"Hey Blanc how's it hangin'!" Neptune cheered giving her signature peace out sign to Blanc.
"Ugh! Do you have to shout? I'm having a headache right now." Noire said rubbing her head.
"I thought you looked unwell from just by looking at you. Another restless night." Vert replied concern for the pigtailed goddess.
"I thank you all for coming so quickly." Blanc said.
"So Blanc what's the emergency that you want us to come here?" Noire asked.
"Well... I sent out request to handle a horde of monsters that were in the Hex Grasslands. IF responded to it and helped my sisters to take down the horde and they've managed but... it's what IF brought back has me worried." Blanc replied.
"Really? What is it?" Vert questioned.
"Apparently she found a data chip and after Mina analyzed it... well it's best that you see for yourselves." Blanc replied as she pulled out the tablet and showed them the video as the three CPUs watched it to the end.
Neptune was for the first time utterly speechless at what just happened. Vert wasn't exactly sure what to think at what she just witness and Noire simply stood their in utter shock.
"They... created... an infant." Vert finally spoke.
"Ok that is totally messed up! And just what is Project Liberator anyway?" Neptune asked.
"Wish I knew. Given how old this video is it must've been taken while we were all fighting above Gamindustri." Noire deduced.
"It's been almost four years since then. Wouldn't the infant be only four years old then?" Vert questioned.
"The video mentioned a growth program so more than likely it accelerated the aging process for the infant." Noire added.
"Wait! Their was someone familiar in that video though. Miss Horn Head herself right." Neptune stated.
"Yes but from what we can tell this one has to be the one from this dimension and not the one from Ultra. Why do I get the feeling we've stumbled onto something that we shouldn't have." Vert replied.
"Maybe Rei Ryghts might be able to shed some light on this. But finding her is going to be tough since we don't exactly know where she lives." Blanc said putting a finger to her chin.
"I could ask the local chat room in Leanbox and see if they spotted anyone fitting her description." Vert replied.
"Hm... I'll check around my nation too see if anyone has seen her." Noire said.
"And I'll see if Histy knows anything. She's bound to know something." Neptune stated.
The other three only swetdropped at this "You know you could put in some leg work and actually look around. I mean if this infant is more than likely full grown than the faster we find Rei the quicker we can deal with the problem." Noire replied scolding Neptune.
"Hey! You know if I do that I'm bound to run into something that'll either distract me from my work or make me run into someone that I'd rather avoid." Neptune said.
"But that... how does..." Noire tried to say but all she could muster was a groan.
"Neptune does have a vaild point. Their have been things that have distracted her in the past." Vert clarified.
"Thank you!" Neptune cheered.
"Now let's head out and make sure to check in with each other if anyone finds anything." Blanc pointed out as the three of them turned to leave though Vert turned back to her.
"Oh and I think you might want to check on Mina. She looked a little unwell. I hope she's not sick." Vert replied.
"I'll do that." Blanc said back as Vert took her leave. Blanc decided she might as well put in her work as well to find Rei and wonder if she had anything to do with Project Liberator while also what is going on with her oracle.

Meanwhile IF was speeding across a dirt road heading straight to Lastation to visit a friend of her's who hopefully isn't too busy with her job. It didn't take her too long to get to Lastation as arrived at a certain place parking her bike in front of a hospital building.
It's a rather large building compared to other hospital buildings as it has multiple floors. IF went inside and noticed that the lobby was fairly empty aside from a few people with a common cold or minor injuries.
IF went up to the receptionist counter before speaking to her.
"Can I help you?" The woman asked.
"Yeah um I'm suppose to be meeting with Compa." IF answered. The woman looked through her files as she found the file on Compa.
"Ah yes. Last I heard she was in the middle of a fourteen hour surgery." The receptionist stated.
However the door swung open and came out Compa. She has bright pink hair with matching eyes. She is wearing a tan-white wool sweater top that complements her figure with matching arm warmers and boots. She also wears a red plaid skirt, a black choker with a heart onit and black knee socks. In her hair is her headband and carries around her pink colored purse. Though she had a tired look on her face.
"Hey Compa. How's it going?" IF greeted getting her friends attention.
"Oh Iffy." Compa greeted with a smile even though she was tired.
"I'm guessing the surgery was rough huh?" IF asked as she nodded in response.
"Thought we lost him for a minute but we managed to save him in the nick of time. Though had three more surgeries afterward. I barely caught a break." Compa replied her voice sounding she was tired.
"Well... you must be hungry from all that so how about something to eat and I'll take you home. Sound good." IF replied.
Compa nodded as the two of them left the lobby to the outside and got on IF's bike as she drove them to downtown Lastation.
They stopped by an outdoor resteraunt as they ordered their food and once their orders arrived Compa nearly devoured hers as she hummed in delight.
"Sooo good." Compa said taking another bite of her sandwich.
"Easy their Compa or you'll choke." IF warned.
"So Iffy. Been doing any quests lately. The guild must be keeping you busy." Compa said.
"Yeah. Actually finished one just yesterday. Dealt with a horde of monster in Hex Grasslands. Turns out it was a Spawner doing all that. Had Rom and Ram to help out with it but their was something strange after we took care of it." IF mentioned.
"Oh? What was it?" Compa asked curiously.
"It was a data chip of some kind. I had Blanc had her orcale anaylze it but I don't think it should be that important." IF stated.
"You never know. Remember the last we thought something wasn't important and turned out to be something super important." Compa replied knowingly.
"Yeah you do have a point their." IF said recalling several times that had happened as the two ate their lunches.
After eating their lunches IF thought it was time to take Compa home so that she could rest. It was a shame that Compa moved to Lastation and herself is in Lowee but she knows it doesn't take much for her to get their and back. IF stopped in front of a simple single story house as Compa headed inside before giving IF a wave goodbye to her friend.
She reved up her bike and sped off more than likely going to be heading back to Lowee. Though before she was just about to leave the nation a certain CPU Canidate flagged her down waving at her.
The CPU Canidate is Uni. Just like Noire she has long black hair and has it in two pigtail but wear black and white bows in her hair. She has slightly darker red eyes and wears a black knee length strapless dress with silver trimmings. She wears black and silver colored shoes.
IF stopped in front of her wondering what she wanted "Hey Uni. Something the matter?" She asked.
"Thanks for stopping. Actually their is something I need your help with." Uni replied.
"Yeah what is it?" IF questioned.
"Their a strange energy source coming from the subway. I was going to ask if Nepgear would come and help me but she told me that she was busy with a project for Planeptune." Uni said.
"And you want me to assist." IF replied.
"Well who else am I suppose to ask. K-Sha is helping the rest of Gold Third and it'll take too long for Rom and Ram to get here." Uni replied.
"Alright I'll give you hand. Though what kind of strange energy we talking about?" IF asked.
"Wish I knew. Though the oracle said to stay cautious." Uni added.
"Then we better check it out if its that important. We get their faster if we ride their. Hop on." IF said as Uni got on the back sitting sideways as she held on to IF as they sped off toward the destination. Though a certain someone was watching them above as she smirked and followed the two.
It didn't take them too long to arrive at the abandon subway station that was used sometime ago as the stairs lead underground.
"You ready?" IF asked as she brought out her katars ready for a fight.
"Let's get this over with." Uni said summoning her rifle as she checked her ammunition.
"Alright let's get going." IF said as the two walked down the stairs to the underground subway. However after the two descended the tanned woman that was following them landed near the entrance as she put her own plan into action as she followed them making sure to stay far enough behind.

A shot rang out as Uni fired a bullet straight a turtle monters killing it instantly as IF killed the dogos that were with it so that it wouldn't cause much trouble for them in the long run. Though there were still monsters down their as they traversed the subway station.
"Just how far does this thing go anyway?" IF asked.
"Pretty far down. Sis said this was a subway station to get from nation to nation before they had the Console War. Now its just been abandoned and a filled with monsters so we're definately going to need to be careful here." Uni stated.
"How much further is that energy source?" IF asked.
Uni checked her device for a second before she got her answer "Probably another floor down and we're their." Uni answered.
"Good let's find those stairs that lead to it and see what this is all about." IF replied as the two marched onward.
Unknowingly that a certain tanned woman was watching them from afar as she chuckled.
"Oh I can't wait to see the look on their faces." She whispered as she silently followed them.
After killing more monsters that were in their way the two eventually found the stairs as the went down a floor and came to a wide open area within the subway station.
"Whoa. Rather large for even a rest area." IF deduced.
"Yeah that's probably what this place was." Uni said before checking her device again as the signal was stronger in the current area.
"Hey I think I see something over there." IF said before running ahead of her as Uni quickly followed.
Suddenly glowing in front of them is what they didn't expect to find but it was a share crystal but it was different colored as it gave off a silver hue.
"A share crystal? All the way down here?" Uni questioned.
"Strange. So what now. Do we take it with us?" IF asked.
"Might as well. It is the source of the energy here." Uni stated as she went to grab it but the moment she grabbed hold of it she felt her own energy being drained by it as she shouted in pain.
"Uni!" IF yelled before pulling Uni away from the crystal. She examined the hand that Uni touched it with as she noticed that she had burns on it.
"You okay!" IF said. Uni was breathing rather heavy even after touching the crystal.
"Somethings... not right... with that thing." Uni breathed.
"Yeah no kidding. We should probably call a team here to retrieve it. Can you stand?" IF said.
Uni nodded as she stood up even though slightly wobbled. Suddenly their was a rumble not far off as it was getitng closer.
"Crap! Now what!?" IF shouted as the rumble got closer and closer as the two of them readied themselves for whatever came at them.
The rumble got closer to them as what appeared was a large snake like creature as it was pale white with scales all along its body along with having red marks all along it's body.
"What the I don't think I've seen this monster before!?" IF shouted.
"Guess got no choice here." Uni replied as she summoned a power symbol in her hands and pressed it to her chest activating her HDD.
The light vanishes as Uni is now in her CPU form. Her hair has become white and while her hair still has pigtails they are now in curls. She now has bright green eyes. Her CPU form consists of a black and white two piece bikini like bodysuit with matching shoulder length gloves and thigh-high boots with three inch block heels.
"Transformation complete." Black Sister states as she summons her rifle that is much larger and has a longer barrel.
"IF I'll cover you from the back. Try and attack it up close but avoid it's fangs." Black Sister stated.
"Got it." IF said as the CPU started to fire at the monster as her shots were hitting the monster but rarely slowing it down.
IF rushed forward while Uni kept it distracted as she slashed it with her katars but they were doing much damage as she would've hoped but she kept pressing the attack.
"Try this! Demonic Inferno!" IF shouted casting her magic on the serpent as a flame circle appeared underneath it and then a pillar of fire shot out from under it hurt the monster. The monster not liked getting burned retaliated by swiping its tail at IF hitting her stomach as it knocked her backwards landing hard next to Uni.
"Took quite a hit there." Black Sister stated.
"Yeah. Things tough as a tank. Got anything for a weakpoint." IF replied.
"Nothing. None of my shots are working on it." Black Sister stated frustrated by the fact. Then the monster began sucking in air and once it had enough it seemed the sacks in its mouth inflated like it was trying something.
"Heads up!" IF shouted as the monster then spewed out a stream of purple liquid at the two.
"It's poison! Don't let it touch you!" Black Sister stated as the two dodged the purple liquid but some of the liquid got onto Uni's left leg as she grunted from the pain as the liquid sizzled but she could manage the pain.
"Okay new approach." IF said as she charged at the serpent activating another skill.
"Heaven Demon!" She shouted as she became a blur before striking the monster all around it's body hitting it nine times before finishing with a diagonal cut.
It did seem to hurt the beast but it was still far from being defeated.
"Damn it! That was my best move too." IF said as the monster was ready for another go. IF looked over to Black Sister as the posion was starting to effect her before looking at the share crystal.
"Okay IF whatever plan you've got it better freakin' work." IF thought in her head as she rushed at the share crystal hoping to use it as a diversion to give Uni time to recover from her posion.
"Over here you lizard!" She shouted at the beast as it followed her.
"What is she doing?! She's going to get herself killed!" Black Sister thought as she tried to move but the posion was effecting her movements as she called upon an item to help her out.
IF stopped as her back was now facing the share crystal as the beast towered over her as it coiled itself ready to strike.
She prepared to attack "If I'm right if a monster comes into contant with a share crystal then the crystal should vaporize the monster almost instantly or at least weaken it severly. Once that happens I should be able to kill it in one shot." IF thought hoping her plan will work.
The monster coiled and then lunge at IF it's mouth wide open and fangs poised. However just as IF was about to move out of the way the share crystal itself glowed almost like sensing the danger the woman in front it was in.
IF suddenly felt a small surge of energy enter her body and almost on instinct lunge forward at the monster and aimed just under its mouth and skewered her right arm through it stopping the monster in it's tracks.
IF then ripped her arm out of the monster underjaw as the serpent fell to the ground dead before vanishing into pixels.
Black Sister deactivated her HDD turning her back into her human form after recovering from her posion.
"What was that?" Uni asked.
"You tell me. Cause I'm still a little shocked about what happened." IF replied.
Uni then looked at her arm and gasped "IF your arm!" Uni shouted pointing at it.
IF looked down at her right arm and saw something she wasn't expecting. It was replaced with a dark blue arm glove with light grey lines going down each side. On her fingers are one inch long black colored claws and around her wrist is an gold colored bracelet.
"What in the heck?! What's going on?" IF shouted completely taken aback by this development. But suddenly the claw vanished replacing it with her regular arm.
"Okay... that was really weird." Uni said.
"Yeah really... huh? Wait where's the share crystal?" IF asked looking at where it was put now it was gone.
"Seriously! Well that's just great." Uni said very disappointed.
"Well at least the monsters been defeated. For now let's get out of here. You still good." IF stated.
"Yeah I think I can..." Uni started but suddenly her legs gave out on her making fall to her knees.
"Dang it." Uni muttered as she tried to get back up again but to no avail.
IF sighed as she knelt down to her level with her back facing Uni "Get on." IF replied which made Uni slightly blush knowing what she was implying.
"Y-You're not seriously thinking of..." Uni said.
"Would you rather I put you over my shoulder and carry you out that way which can be more embarrassing." IF implied. Uni took in a breath and swallowed her pride and decided to get on IF's back.
IF stood up and gently grabbed underneath Uni's legs "Alright you comfortable back their?" IF asked.
"Just go okay." Uni retorted as IF chuckled before walking back the way they came making sure to avoid any respawned monsters on the way. However the girl that was watching them gave a small satisfied smile.
"Well it's not a full awakening but it's a start for now. I can only image what those oracles are going to think picking up a fifth share energy readying. Oh their lids are going to flip." She chuckled as she used a spell to exit the subway herself before flying off to another destination as she was holding a small bag of silver colored share crystals.

Meanwhile in Planeptune a certain small fairy orcale was making sure things were in order. The is small fairy has blonde hair with two medium length pigtails with a white headdress, along with a hat with a letter N in the center. She wears an open shoulder dress with a teal colored tie. Her leg wear consists of thigh-high socks and white shoes with green circles with a black lining in the center.
This is Histoire. Planeptunes oracle as she is currently looking at Planeptunes shares which for the most part have been slightly increasing with Neptunes and her sister Nepgears help.
However just as she was about to leave she noticed something that she never thought would've happened. Lastations shares... decreased suddenly by five percent.
"Strange. Has Noire been slacking?" Histoire asked herself but then something else happened as another share energy signature has appeared on screen as it only has five percent. Though Histoire thought it was a small glitch that needed correcting but as she scanned over of the energy readings they were all still the same.
"Is there another CPU that we didn't know about." Histoire said to herself but then shook her head.
"No. That's not it. But then what could it be." Histoire said as she decided to leave it alone as she exited the sharcite room but it still plaqued her mind as she went to find Neptune or Nepgear to help her with a task.
