Lauren played with long dark hair. "I love you, Bo." She kissed the woman's forehead.
"Yeah. Yeah. I would say that you do." Bo was panting hard. She smiled as Lauren twisted her hair around her finger.
"I mean it." Lauren whispered.
"I know you do, babe." Bo smiled.
Lauren dropped Bo's hair and pulled the woman into her arms. "You saved us. You saved all of us. If it weren't for you, I would be dead and you would be raising Charlotte by yourself."
"Don't think like that sweetie. This is our honeymoon." Bo gently nudged the blonde.
"It is. But I'm going to say this and let it go." Lauren smiled.
"Ok." Bo nodded.
"I love you Bo. You were probably scared shitless seeing me in that coma and suddenly having to attend to a child that you never knew was coming. You were alone in all of that but you still stayed by my side until I woke up. You sought out help on learning how to feed her. You were a single mother with a girlfriend in a coma basically. I will never forget that or not love you for it. Now we have more kids and an even bigger family with the others." Lauren closed her eyes and squeezed Bo hard.
"Lauren, I love you too. You don't have to thank me for that. I love you and our family. Charlotte was a handful, no doubt, but she was a little you. Everything about her screamed her blonde mother. Her curious eyes. Knowing how much pressure to put on her bottle nipples short of tearing them off with her teeth. She was just so much of you. She still is. I couldn't hold you, so I got to hold her. Warm with the scent of you on her. It was such a sad, unknowing time, but it was one of the happiest times in my life. I was in control of everything except knowing how to wake you up." Bo whispered against the doctor's chest. The blonde felt a tear hit her nipple and lifted Bo's head. "It's ok."
Bo nodded. "Well, after all of that exercise, we need to eat some actual food." The brunette smiled. They had made love so many times once they reached their hotel that she lost count of how many days had passed.
Lauren closed her eyes and held the woman. They didn't need to speak. Just touching was a second language to them. Bo didn't move. Not her head or her hand that was resting on Lauren's stomach. "Do you want to go out or order in?."
Bo lifted her head. "I'm game either way."
Lauren smiled. Bo rarely ever wants to get out of bed. They are on their honeymoon. Back home, they'd have to be out of bed and on kid duty or headed to work. "We can stay in and go out later tonight."
"That sounds good to me." Bo moved in the woman's arms and her head was now resting higher on the woman's chest. "One of us needs to get up and get the room service menu."
Lauren smiled again. "I guess that will be me." As she moved, she felt herself being pushed back down. "No, stay just like that. I'll be back."Bo quickly grabbed the menu from the table across the room. She pulled the covers back and settled on the doctor's body again. "Steak and eggs for me."
"That sounds good." Lauren pulled her phone from the nightstand. She was relieved to see there weren't any texts from Aife. She was however amused at thinking what could be going on at home.
"You can call. I love your bed voice." Bo cooed.
"You just like me laying down." Lauren smiled.
"Or standing up. I like you in any position." Bo laughed. Bo, like Lauren, thought about how rare it was for them to actually have quiet time in bed. Or just be in bed with no interruptions. She was so grateful to have Aife, Hale and Kenzi to look after the kids. They are in good hands. She's in good arms as the doctor snaked them around her body. "You picked a good hotel."
"Lots of room to walk around or sit out on the balcony." Lauren looked around the bedroom. "We need the extra space to stretch our legs so to speak.
"If you want to shift, you can." Bo played with the woman's stomach.
"And scare the other guests. I'm sorry. I have yet to teach myself or learn to do that without screaming." Lauren smiled.
"I made you scream all night. What would be the difference now?." Bo winked as she kissed the spot that her finger had been circling.
"True. That's very true. But honestly, I don't want to shift. We have plenty of time and opportunities to do that at home. I'm content to stay in my human form unless you want to shift and race around the suite." The doctor suggested.
"I'll probably slip and bust my ass." Bo laughed into her hand.
"Then we'll both stay in human form and wait for our food. But let's get up and get dressed before we embarrass the room service crew." Lauren pushed up so Bo would have to get up too.
"Lauren, you are so beautiful." Bo licked her lips as she watched her naked wife grab her robe and put it on. She frowned when it dropped covering up her favorite spots on the woman's body.
The succubus grabbed her wife's hand as they went on a small tour of the suite. They didn't do much of anything but strip each other naked as soon as the bellboy brought their bags in and Lauren had locked the door behind him. Lauren pointed out things she liked most and made note to buy them for their house. Bo didn't say no to any of it. She just can't bring herself to deny Lauren of anything. They opened the balcony doors and walked out. They were at the back of the hotel so nobody could catch glimpses of anything. Bo just inhaled it all. The air. Their lives. Their love. Their family. Them.
Lauren heard the knock first and pulled the succubus with her as they went to greet the gentleman. He was young and obviously had a crush on the blonde. Bo shot him a warning with her eyes and his eyes never left theirs. "That was cute, Bo. But come on. He's young enough to be my son and I'm a very happily married woman."
"Cute or not, he needs to learn to keep it professional. Many guests probably stay in their robes and pajamas." Bo smiled as she looked the cart over. The young buck didn't forget the steak sauce that she had requested.
"How's your hunger?." Lauren asked.
"Good enough to finish this meal." Bo smiled and poured the sauce on her meat and eggs.
"I don't mean that hunger. I don't mean your succubus hunger. I meant your panther hunger. Do you need more? They will stop serving breakfast soon or I can go out and buy steaks and eggs." Lauren looked worriedly at the brunette.
"I could use a little more. I'll call this time and we can have some groceries delivered." Bo smiled.
"You really do not want to go out at all do you?." Lauren teased.
"If you want to go out babe, we can. We can go walking. We can find a dance club. Anything that you want to do, we can do. This is not just my honeymoon, it is yours too." Bo smiled sadly. She didn't want this woman thinking she has to make this a happy trip for her or feel like she has to entertain the succubus.
"Let's just play it by ear. We'll sit. Eat. Talk and whatever comes up, comes up." Lauren pulled Bo's chair out for her and took her own seat seconds later.
Aife
"Absolutely not. Hell no." The old succubus laughed.
Charlotte looked up at her grandmother with the softest set of eyes she had ever seen. "That's not going to work either. Isabeau would kill me or Lauren would bury me alive and dig in the grass to get to my bones. "You are not doing that." Charlotte looked down and took another step forward. "One more like that, and you are grounded to your room." Aife extended her arms out.
"What's going on?." Kenzi asked as she walked in and immediately caught up. "Oh balls."
"She's half human form, half lioness trying to carry her baby sister out of here. That's not happening." Aife shook her head.
"Charly, do you want to play with her? Is that it?." Kenzi asked.
"No." Charlotte replied.
"What do you want to do?." Aife asked.
"Take her out so that she can learn." Charlotte replied.
"What the hell does this kid know about teaching someone still in diapers?." Aife laughed but she wanted to curse.
"Lauren's daughter." Kenzi laughed.
"That's obvious but she's Isabeau's too." For the first time the old Succubus didn't have a clue what to do. She trusts Charlotte, it's the other little snots out there that she doesn't trust.
"Ladies, if I may, this is kind of our fault." Hale stepped next to Kenzi.
"How?." Kenzi asked.
"We called Charlotte out last night and she showed them her baby sister. She just wants to show her off. Teach her what she's learned so far and as you said, she's Lauren's kid. She probably knows more than most of us by now." Hale shook his head and smiled. Bo and Lauren's kids are going to be some smart badasses. He already feels sympathetic towards their school teachers.
"Is that true Nakedra? You want to show her off?." Kenzi asked. Charlotte roared and the sound summoned her brothers. "All you have to do is say yes or no!." The cheetah snapped gently. She's a new shifter but she knows Lions are the kings of beasts. In Charlotte and Amani's case, they are heir Queens of beasts.
Charlotte had enough and walked forward. "Take one more step. Take one more step and I will finally bust your ass." Aife stood in front of her granddaughter.
"Kenz, you're a cheetah now. How about you go with her and see what she does." Hale suggested.
"No. Charlotte will learn she can't always get what she wants. I'm in charge of her. The answer is no. If she wants that baby to go with her, she better convince me no harm will come to either of them." Aife held her hand up before Kenzi touched the shifter's shoulder.
Charlotte handed the baby to Kenzi and shifted. She looked up at Kenzi and the cheetah knew what she wanted. "I'll follow you."
"Ok but if any harm comes to them, I won't be as nice or calm." Aife watched the two of them leave. Kenzi followed Charlotte out to the castles. She watched her scale one and when she got to the top, she waited for Kenzi. "I can't do that. I'm too big."
Charlotte held out her arms and they seemed to stretch down to Kenzi. She was shocked when she took her from her. "Come." Charlotte said. Within seconds Every beast and creature of nature stood just outside the gates surrounding their house. "Mani." Charlotte held her up and the baby roared. The others used their own mating calls in response.
Hale sighed from just inside the patio door. "Whew. Thank goodness that is all she is doing right now. It's kind of on you Aife. You built all of that."
"That's true. That kid is so up and down we never know what she is going to do. I need to learn to trust her. She went after her brother alone until Lauren caught up to them." Aife wiped her brow. She's not a shifter. If Charlotte or the boys suddenly took off, she'd have no way of catching them outside of driving her car. She smiled that Bo has such a strong family. Nothing can fuck with them and not face deadly consequences. But that happened long before Lauren was kidnapped and forced to be a Una Mens.
"She's protective. It's literally in her blood. Lauren is a doctor. Bo is a PI. They were born to help the little guy. So, their kids will be like that too." Hale gently nudged the old succubus.
"Bo's blood can make them dark. I just...we all have to make sure that they protect each other. That they never give into the evil that was Hades. He is gone for good, I know that. But his blood is in there too." Aife paced a little but never took her eyes off of the kids outside. Charlotte now had her brothers running around the yard while Kenzi held Amani.
"We'll all help to raise them. We already are. We could all be out busting balls in what remains of the Fae world. But those same Fae have kids growing up too. Bo and Lauren are women who made a family without using a man to do so. That's rare. They are all rare. Don't worry Aife. They'll be fine. If you want to, take a break and go out. You have been home for days. We all know that's not your style." Hale suggested.
"No. My kids need me to watch their kids. Once they get back, then I'll go out and see what the hell is going on. It's been too quiet. So-to-speak." Aife looked around the yard. The beasts that Charlotte had summoned were sitting outside of the gates. She smiled. The little badass is practically on her throne with obedient peasants watching her. She stood up straight once Kenzi bent down to put Amani on a blanket. Charlotte joined her and looked down. "Bend. Stretch. Roar." Charly said.
"No fucking way." Aife laughed. "She's not going to get that baby to do that. Her arms aren't long enough yet."
"Shape shifters. It's possible." Hale smiled as he watched the show.
"Shit! You were right. No kid. Go back to being a baby. They will kill us if they miss the miracle of raising you from a baby to an adult." Aife was almost begging Amani to return to her baby form from a full sized Lioness.
"She can be a panther, too. Like Bo. I need a few drinks." Hale shook his head and laughed as he left the succubus to watch the rest of the show.
Bo and Lauren.
"Is this better?." Bo asked softly.
"Dancing in a club you paid top dollar to empty? Yes. It's better." Lauren smiled.
"You want them back so that we don't look like spoiled brats? Ok." Bo roared and within seconds they were surrounded by other people on the dancefloor. The music was loud and she could still hear Lauren's rapid heartbeat. They had made love all afternoon and wanted to get an early start on the night. So Bo found a local club and they showered to go. She closed her eyes and rested her head on Lauren's shoulder. She opened them when she felt their wedding rings touch. "I never thought I would get married. Sure I wanted a normal life but marriage was in the nosebleed section of my life goals and dreams."
"Bo. You deserve all of this. To be married. To be loved. To have a family. A wife. All of it." Lauren rocked the woman in her arms. She could see so much of Charlotte in Bo. Tough as hell but wanting a simpler, loving life.
"I wasn't moping, babe. I am just fascinated by it. By you. By us. That's it. No pity party here." Bo raised up and smiled. She stared in the woman's eyes and it took her back to that moment when they were about to kiss but Lauren geeked out and pulled away for the naga venom. If she could, she would jump into Lauren's body and swim there forever. That's how much she loves this woman. To want to be everything with her. Lauren saw Bo's want but she was too shy to do anything about it. So, the doctor leaned forward and kissed her. Bo pulled back. "Up for a run, now?." She asked.
"Catch me if you can." Lauren smiled as she turned around and ran out of the bar. Once they were safely in a wooded area, the doctor shifted with Bo hot on her heels. "Wait! Wait Bo!." Lauren immediately shifted back but Bo couldn't stop in time. Into the water she went. "Ahh well. I'll join you."
The women tussled in the water. Splashing each other in the face. "Shit. I just thought of something." Bo stopped.
"What is that?." Lauren asked.
"We'll be soaking wet. How will we explain smelling like this to the hotel staff?." Bo asked.
"I have an idea. If you are ready to dry off that is." Lauren climbed out of the water.
"I'm ready." Bo followed.
The doctor rubbed her hands together and ordered Bo to lay down. The brunette was shocked when she felt warm hands on her drying her panther off. After almost five minutes, she was dry. "Now. I'll ride in the trunk of your car. When we reach the hotel, I'll go to the back. You can open the patio doors and I'll fly up like a bird and enter the building."
"Lauren Lewis-Dennis, you are never boring." Bo laughed as they ran back to the bar and Bo jumped into some clothes and her car. She dropped the top and Lauren climbed into the trunk.
