Chapter 10: A Time with Magic

Flashback...

In a hospital room, a green hair lady is resting after delivering a baby...a brown hair female baby.

"It's a girl...Mrs. Blight!" The doctor said

She smiled at her. "Another one that delivered for Blight Legacy,"

"Just the same as usual lil sister..."

All of them turn to a man with who same hair color green but has fringe up, small green chin hair, and blue eyes. Wearing a stylish punk shirt, ripped jeans, and boots...having three gift bags and a balloon with the words 'Congratulations.'

Both twins smiled at him. "Uncle Geist!"

They hugged the man's legs, and he smiled big, hugging both. "Emira...Edric, you two looking well... here are your gifts! Emira...this doll you wanted from your dream,"

Emira hugged her doll. "Thank you so much,"

Geist pulls out a dragon figure. "And for you Edric, Drago action figure with loads of voice commands..."

Edric smiled big. "You are the best uncle ever!"

Geist goes to the parents and turns to a man with brown hair. "Taking care of them Alador?"

"Yes, mostly your sister does much work in the company we develop time being..." Alador answered

Geist sighing at that answered. 'Is not how lived Odalia...' he goes to his newest baby niece, and he smiles at her. "Hi, little girl...I'm your uncle...she got a name?"

"We thinking something that might recognize everyone," Odalia answered

"Not that name 'cause it is a little too long and a bit...difficult," Alador responds both a little difficult.

"Maybe something I think of it, pick a name that might be unique and simple... how about...Amity," Geist said with a smile.

Everyone in the Blight family likes the name, which is a different name from the rest, the uncle looked at the bay. 'A name means to connect to others,'

Coming from the back with a birthday present is Geist, he's seeing the guests leave and senses his niece in the garden. "Amity...happy birthday-" He sees her crying. "Sweetie?"

"Uncle Geist..." Amity whimpered and turned to her uncle with tearful eyes. "I wished I just be normal,"

Geist places his gift down and grabs the whole of Amity, places on his lap when he sits down. "What happened little one?"

"How could you do that to her Odalia?!"

Geist is arguing with a lady with green hair bun form, she simply glared at him. "That little girl is a commoner Geist, we Blight is about status and wealth."

"We also in commoner in their age sis! That Park girl's only true friend she had, you just pair with those girls you chose isn't gonna work! Are you that really wanna show this so-called family name of yours that much?!"

Odalia glared deeply at him. "Enough! I doing for the best of her Geist, if you don't like...I will make sure never to see your nieces and nephew again! Am I clear?"

Geist looked at her, he left the room. "You may break them apart, but never break their bond between them," He closes the door.

The lady simply looked down. 'Maybe I can do that...'

"Are sure got to go..."

Geist is leaving the place, right before looking at his nieces and nephew, knee down front of them. "Afraid so, my job is hard but knowing to get me by, promise I text, text, if you needed advice and little one, promise me one thing,"

"Y-Yeah," Amity asked

"Be yourself..."

Flashback Ends...

The main heroes at a guided tour of a museum in New Orleans, Louisiana. While Gus and King are messing around with the masks on display, the boy speaks in a dark and deep tone. "King...I am your father,"

"That's not true...that's impossible," King holding his laughter, only to grab by the ear and King's whole body is Willow.

"Looked, we here for Amity, you two behaved cause she needed this," Willow whispered angrily walking to the group.

The female guide talks to the people, showing an old book. "And behind this impenetrable glass is the recently discovered, and only known existing copy of the "Archamada Book of Spells".

Amity, who has been listening this whole time spoke simultaneously with the female tour guide. "It contains ancient witchcraft and rituals from the later sixteen hundreds."

Female tour guide snidely at Amity. "Maybe you should work here girl."

Amity looked down in sadness but Luz stepped in. "Don't let "mummy-face" get to you, she's probably older than that spell book."

Luz imitates a mummy's pose and facial expression in their tomb, making Amity laugh, others go to them, and Eda looks around. "Mind telling me why are we in this museum, thought you eager wanna your uncle?"

Amity looked at them. "My uncle says wanna big surprise tomorrow morning, in meantime...let's enjoy this place, he always brings me here with my older siblings, they think it's boring but to me...is one of the places brings moments having fun."

The lighthearted moment is broken when rumbling begins, with everyone in the room soon lifting to the ceiling, seemingly magically.

Eda grunts as she and her kids reach the ceiling. "Levitation spell...Something tells me this isn't on the tour."

Through the skylight window, a puff of red smoke travels through the air and reaches the book of spells, materializing into a man; his face seems covered like half armor faceplate white and black to resemble a skull. He's wearing a black jacket with a purple brooch on the white part of the cloth and black pants with black shoes. He wearing a purple cloak covers his head, and wields a staff, on top of the staff is a black cat with purple glowing eyes. He wearing an ancient chain with a total of five stones.

"The Archamada Book of Spells... All of its power shall soon be mine!" He shouted Hex made an incantation "Fah-Cah-Me-Doof!", with the second right-most charm glowing yellow, activating as he spoke.

The class encasement around the book shatters, and the book levitates off the podium into his hands.

Everyone is scared except for the main heroes, so Gus activates his watch and twists the dial to transform. "Now might be a good time to go..." The man uses his staff to end the room's occupants' levitation, dropping them to the floor. "...Hero! Oh!"

Everyone screams as they're falling. Gus quickly transforms into his flying hero. "Sky Beam!" He flew down and maneuvered a tapestry to act as a soft landing for the tour. "Everyone out!"

Everyone ran out of the place, Willow looked at her friend with a worried look. "Be careful. You don't know what tricks he's got up his sleeve."

Sky Beam turned to face Hex, his visor dropping overhead. "Hey Magic Man, you want a book, try the library."

The man turns to Sky Beam. "Name's Hex, don't get in my way,"

Hex stands facing Sky Beam, as his second Charm activates. He holds up his staff and recites an incantation "Bethi-Mordor-Natta", causing flames to erupt from the staff, setting the tapestry alight. As Sky Beam flies up in the air to avoid the flames, shards of purple crystals fire out from the staff but the flying alien shoots out his lasers to destroy him, also Hex shoots a blinding light at Sky Beam as he's charging Hex, causing him to fly past and crash into display cabinets.

Amity raises a few objects from the multiple rubbish bins, then throws them at Hex, hitting the back of Hex's head, and distracting him from Sky Beam. "Guess we got his attention..."

Luz created her purple energy. "Kind of wishes we hadn't."

Hex's about to cast a spell of that interference, but he felt laser beams hitting at the back. As he turns to deal with Sky Beam, he's met with an onslaught of the tail, knocking it down to the wall.

King cheered. "Nice job guys!"

Sky Beam nodded on that. "Yeah. just do with it need to do and keep it low-key."

Sky Beam standing in front of cameras and a crowd cheering, smiling at this, throwing out a peace sign. "Who's your hero?"

As Hex gets in the SWAT Team truck, while others are far from the crowd, a certain one is dismayed by what's happening.

The RV parked in a motel, outside, sitting on a round table, Gus puts away his trophy, a photo, into a photograph book, along with his other souvenirs like Dr. Animo's Transmodulator. "Another victory of us,"

"More like your victory," Amity muttered read her book.

Gus looked in confusion as Hooty grabbed his box, and brought it to the RV. "Say what?"

Amity placed the book down and glared at him, pointing to her and Luz. "All I'm saying is that you didn't exactly stop that guy all by yourself today, okay? We helped save your life, but does anybody notice us?"

"But it means to keep your secret identity and I got little time to spare in my alien form," Gus said placing the book in the box. "And hey, being a hero is not about getting attention."

Amity rephrased what the boy said. "Who's your hero?" Uh, hello?" taps her head.

Luz looked at her. "I noticed you, Amity."

"We know each other, that doesn't count," Amity said looking at her.

"Why can't get a little attention more often, least feel appreciated," Gus replied

"The point that this team you keep speaking just little in your head, little glory of each us won't hurt...not just one alien hero," Amity state

Gus glared at her. "Can't help just coming from who has it all your whole life,"

Amity glares back. "What's that supposed to mean?"

The others seeing this bit heated, Willow tried to speak. "Whoa...guys, take a easy,"

Gus looked tap his finger. "Little Miss Perfect, the Golden Child, the one who carried the Blight Legacy! What I got in life, getting picked on for being so smart, taking advantage of many students to do their homework, getting spitballs, getting dumped in the trash even worse...the toilet! For once, I getting loved by others, finally being noticed by everyone! And what you did you do, no offense, but all you did in battle was just throw stuff at the guy. That doesn't exactly make you a hero, unlike me." He crossed his arms and looked away.

Amity gets red-faced of extremely frustrated and shouts in anger. "Will you shut your glory mouth hole and wake up! The only reason you're a big hero is because of that watch...without it, we go out to be the heroes while you staying in the RV, probably be a computer nerd giving us information! Soon or late you'll be crying, and wanting to go back to your parents and grandma like the kid you are!" She made a huff and turned to others who widened in shock at what she just said. "What?" She turns to Gus whose mouth is shivering, she realizes what she said. "G-Gus...I'm sorry-"

"I think I turning in today," Gus said getting out of the table, walking to the motel room, and putting on his hood.

King jumped down to the ground and went to him. "Hey Gus...I join you!"

Gus and King got into their room, Luz looked at her. "Amity...why?"

"I'm sorry, I blurted out...didn't mean to hurt him," Amity said feeling guilty saying those words.

"Well you did," Eda said with a glare. "Looked Amity, we here on this trip to come together, not break apart, both of you need to make up..." She walked to the RV.

Willow also agrees. "I understand Gus being a little ego but sometimes...some words are harsh, you don't wanna lose a friend like did before," She walking upstairs to check on Gus.

"Amity..." Luz said making Blight look at her, only seeing a frown. "I thought you were better than that,"

Luz walked to her motel room, and Amity just sat there, simply shunning her, thinking what gonna do, I know she stayed with them for summer, but why feel so hurt after what she did to make things right? But until then...she got someone to meet in the morning.

In the swat truck, Hex seems wakened from his slumber. "Where am I?"

"You going a place be steel bars," One of the swat team spoke only saw his eyes glowing yellow. "What the..."

"Sorry..." Hex said with a glare.

The swat truck side gets explosive making go to a tree, fully stopping the vehicle, and coming out of it is Hex with his staff.

"I got someone to meet in the morning,"

On a rainy day, a shady place happens to be a man who drinks a bottle, while the rest are all over the table, he's looking at the newspaper.

"I thought I could do it...but I screw everything up," He said depressed.

With a creaking tone, he turned to his door and opened up... saw a man who had a tall and toned muscular body, wearing a Paladin uniform with a sharp gray hat with black shades.

"Hello...William Derek Hand, if I am correct," He said walking inside.

"Who are you...the hell you want?!" William questions standing up even though he is drunk.

"You used a magical artifact you stole...absorb life from people, but no...he accidentally killed hundreds." He states going to him, slowly.

"So...what," William questioned seeing the man raise his hand.

"Foolish people used something that stained the planet we live," He said in anger, grabbing the whole of William's neck. "Shall meet their end,"

Walking out of the house, the man looks down, feeling the rain drop down. "Please...hear me, the demon has been sent back where he belongs," He took off his shades and looked at the cloudy sky, revealing dark gray eyes. "Forgive what I did, let those innocent victims rest in peace,"

"Stain, we got you a new target for you," Spoke from his earpiece.

The man, known as Stain, presses his earpiece. "Yes?"

"I sent it to your phone, I giving you this mission since the top soldiers, don't fail...just least one be enough."

"I won't," Stain answered taking a look at his phone.

Gus came out of his motel's room, he was the last one to come out after all of them at breakfast, after the big fight. He looked at his watch, maybe she was right, a big hero because of the watch, maybe just a thought of time out he could variable, maybe the time get this body more workout.

"Gus..." He turns to see Amity who holding her arm, but the boy turns away. "Good morning,"

"Morning," Gus said looking at the mid-morning sun.

"Gus...I'm sorry to say that, I was a bit jealous at the moment," Amity replied looking at the mid-morning. "I have gotten praise all the time, never thought the hero thing ticks me off that much, as a so-called girl who can carry on the Blight Legacy. Just wished how to feel using magic, based around...me."

The boy sees Amity with a frown, and he speaks. "Time exactly did you meet your uncle."

"About ten, why?" Amity asked

Gus begins to walk down. "After breakfast, we go to the costume shop just a few streets down,"

"Again...why?" Amity asked with a raised eyebrow.

Gus smiled at her. "To get you and Luz uniform,"

The morning arises, and the time finally comes...at the top of the studio apartment, the gang is the place, Amity knocks on the door, and after a few moments...the door opens showing Geist, who wearing long sleeve, baggy brown pants, brown sandals. Even has a necklace around his neck, having a symbol.

Amity has a big smile. "UNCLE GEIST!"

Geist hugged Amity and lifted her in the air. "Now this biggest treat I've gotten, seeing you again,"

Amity gets placed down, and she introduces them, she sees a white cat, and she pets it. "Good to see you again Ghost" Stood up to introduce others. "Uncle Geist, I wanted you to meet the ones I am travel with...Luz Noceda, Willow Parks, Gus Porter, my caretaker Edalyn C. Thorne, and her pet King,"

"Hi everyone, and thank you for taking care little one," Geist said opening the door. "Come right in,"

All of them go inside, seeing the whole place is a luxury apartment complex, the luxury type makes them awe, having a few ancient artifacts around the place that Eda gets puzzled. "Whoa nice place," Willow said

"Thanks...getting my name for myself," Geist said closing the door. "So you kids have been touring the state?"

"Oh yeah!" Gus shouts as he and King jump on the soft couch. "We have been going around having fun, enjoying the sights, and doing-"

"Gus!" Amity shouted angrily both of them stopped, seeing an angry Blight. "This is my uncle's place, show some respect!"

"Ah let them have a fun little one, you kids are welcome," Geist responds patting Amity back. "And stop with the strict routine, around me...I wanna you be a normal girl,"

"Now that guy knows how to have fun," Gus accidentally presses the TV remote, turning on the news and seeing the whole of New York's news. "Hmm,"

"This is the NNCY report, it seems that the new heroic being, Superman, has caused a major car accident downtown, is it an act of stopping crime or too much for one man to handle such power...we stay tuned until commercial."

Gus sees this, but one thing that bugging him is that Superman is tired of showing bangs in his eyes. 'Poor Superman," The tv turns off by Amity who glared at him. "What?"

"Nice, lovable, and fun...he's cool uncle," Luz whispered to Willow.

Eda looked at the stuff. "So what you do to keep this place,"

"Everyone knows about a book called, Seeking Love?" Geist asked with a smile.

The young girls get interested in that. "You mean Gloria, the main girl found a guy, Nicholas, who happened to be a magical being...even though sees him as a monster...but she sees her as a man-" Luz said stopping to see a book full of books and a typewriter. "No way..."

"Yup, I'm a writer, thought my series would end in book three, but didn't know this popular," Geist said looking at his artifacts. "I keep artifacts with me so no one gets hands on them,"

"You got to hang out with you!" Luz shouted having stars in her eyes.

Eda shrugged it off. "So, you the cool guy uncle type, never thought your parents do whatever,"

"Heh...my parents don't take likely of me, always out having fun while my sister follows their demands, I tried to help her to have fun...but she refuses, her lost...and sure, let's all go out, got the perfect places to have fun," Geist responded with a smile.

Each one goes out of the place, getting ready to hang out with the guy might bring into excitement until the boy spots one thing missing from Geist...from his feet when light shines on them. 'Where's his shadow?'

At the Witchcraft Museum, the security on the ground is all hurt by a familiar shadow...it's Hex! But having his darkness with purple eyes and mouth, it is throwing furniture searching for something.

Hex's shadow pulled a levitated security guard closer to him and spoke. "The Archamada Book of Spells."

The security guard points to a giant safe. "They locked it in the vault."

Hex's shadow magically clears his pathway, and lets out an incantation, which bursts open the metal vault and the book of spells flies into his hands. "Yes, soon they will be protected."

Hex's shadow consumes the book and it phases through the walls, unaware that he, someone watching from afar.

In the afternoon, in the French Quarter, the gang sightseeing sees loads of people either sightseeing, listening to music, or enjoying street performances.

Geist smiles at the sight. "Ah...can you guys enjoy this...the music, the dancing, all the time just enjoying yourself,"

Eda smiled at the bar. "Oh yeah, mama gonna enjoy herself."

Willow sees flowers and art created, and she smiles. "Yeah, gonna make something,"

Gus sees street performances, until spots one of them, and does a break dancing that gets him interested. "That's so cool,"

King seeing this. "How does it work,"

The boy came to with a loudspeaker, a teen girl, with long black hair with yellow headband, dark skin, and blue eyes. Wearing a jacket, blue tight jeans, and sneakers...doing break dancing getting attention to the crowds. "So amazing, really great finished."

"Thanks, kid, you only see the start," She said

Luz and Amity seem to be alone again, both seeing the place is not so packed, guess be a real party at night time...then Luz sees performances and gets an idea. "Hey, how about we...performance, together,"

"I don't know..." Amity responds only seeing Luz make a sad face. 'Not that looked.'

"Please Amity..." Luz whined with a whimpered look.

"Fine...better hope it is good," Amity accepted causing Luz to cheered.

Geist smiled at all of them having a good time until Ghost rubbed his leg, he turned to a wall to see Hex's shadow in front of them morph into Geist, pulling out the book of spells! "Good, all according to plan,"

"Well better looked out, see Paladins all over," Geist's shadow said looking at him.

Geist senses all over, indeed about five Paladins here, still looking for all over, seeing some think each performance just plain trick magic so they are good for now. So he must hold on until night time comes, so his plan finally comes closed.

At the coffee shop, Stain simply drinks his cup, watching the people play out until they reveal themselves.

"Umm sir almost until noon, nothing is happening,"

"Simple, just make one thing that can bring them out," Stain said placing his cup down after drinking it, eating one of the delicious treats of the town.

Back in the French Quarter, the gang is having a good time, until a Paladin one on the roof, pulls out a shock sniper and shoots at the construction site, hitting a wire. A loud sound caught their eyes, and their eyes looked at a construction site in the near distance. Two construction workers stuck on a pulley -window cleaner-like- elevator, scream as a wire snaps, tossing them out as they barely cling on.

Gus arrives on the scene with King and fiddling with the Omnitrix. "It's Hero Time!"

Amity seeing this problem, turns to Luz. ''Alright Luz, you ready for action,"

Luz smiled big and turned to their audience. "Sorry folks, the show is over!" Makes everyone saddened.

Gus selected his alien. "With Strong-Arms primed to go." He runs to the site while transforming into an invisible alien. "Camo-Gecko...why did I bother?"

Construction Worker holding on rails. "Over here! Somebody!"

Everyone gasps as they see the construction worker trapped in a truck, a metal beam having crushed the doors as sparks from the overhead lights begin to cause flames. Camo-Gecko climbs to the top, Eda, Willow, and King see the problem, not even Camo-Gecko can handle it alone, and then suddenly they see Luz and Amity...in costumes.

King looked at them in confusion. "Luz?"

Willow raises her eyebrow. "Amity?"

Both girls arrive, Amity is dressed in pink gloves and sandals with a big strap belt like a cat, a pink and black bodysuit, and a sharp black mask with a yellow lens. Her hair is pink, with brown shades at the side. Luz wears a black sharp bat domino mask with a purple lens, a similar bodysuit with an upper black and white with a purple bat symbol, lower purple, with white boots, and finally on the back, the bat wings.

"It's Bat and Kit guys," Luz introduced said as they charged to action.

Bat does a running jump onto a plank, waiting for Amity who created a giant pink orb to hit the other end, causing this sends an elevator to shoot up out of control to hit Camo-Gecko whilst saving the two workers hanging on for their lives, sending Ben up into the air...Bat grabbed whole of the building, winched of the elevator going so high speed.

Bat seeing with widened eyes. "Uh-oh..."

As he falls back down, Camo-Gecko can't but feel the level of gravity his way to the top of the elevator still moving up until the alien is sent flying to the sky, causing debris to fall, everything falling apart. King called out. "Luz-I mean Bat! Get out of there!"

Kit sends out loads of energy blasts to destroy each structure from above, Bat spots cover the chute structure, knocking him down again into a cement mixture. She said to the two workers hanging on by the elevator now positioned over the funnel. "Slide down to the chute!"

The two drop into the chute landing on some piled mattresses at the end. At that moment, Camo-Gecko comes down and lands on the trash, an on-looking Camo Gecko covered in trash mix wanders around until spots a crowd gathered as a news reporter conducts an interview.

The news reporter spoke to the two heroes. "How did you two pull off this amazing rescue?"

Bat smiled at them. "With style of course."

Kit simply looked at the camera with a smirk. "Who's your hero?"

Everyone cheered for them, even the main ones, but Willow saw Camo Gecko quietly sulk away and turn invisible, making the girl sad for her friend. As for the invisible alien hero, he simply waited until the watch time out. 'I bought their suits, they got the glory, I got trashed...'

Then suddenly he sees Geist go alone when people focus on two magic heroes, making the alien shocked seeing his shadow appear to pull out the Book of Spell. "Good, cause it noon, struck midnight, the plan be finish,"

Camo Gecko's eyes widened in shock. 'Geist is Hex,'

Stain simply looked at the target, seeing two magic girls with a frown, have to end such young youth, but...order way keep the world clean, the sorceresses needed to end.

"Sir we got the target, what do we do?"

"Simple, we trapped them, and ended them," Stain answered walking in the shadows.

The sun has fallen, and the main group is now in a restaurant that is good at cooking and at a family table, each one eating their meal.

"Hmm...man who knew this food was great," Luz said with a smile.

"Yeah, Tiana's Palace is one of the crown jewels of the place," Willow replied looking at the remarkable artwork of the place.

"Well got a real story in this place, legends say Tiana is a real princess, and a crocodile plays in a band here," Gus said looking at the restaurant's local mascot statue...a firefly, a crocodile, and finally a frog. "With the help of a shiny star and magic,"

"Gus...you okay, you ate halfway," King said looking at him.

Gus startled looked at him and smiled nervously. "Oh right, just waiting for dessert..."

Willow looked at him. "You wait...Gus, it's about the saving day, it's okay. Next one be great,"

"Not that, it's..." Gus sighed, he hated keeping this from them, he looked at them. "Guys...there something I wanna tell you-" They looked at him.

"Hey, gang!" Geist shouted making Gus jump, they saw Geist carrying a tray. "Hope you loved dessert! He places a tray revealing beignets with powdered sugar and honey. "Beignets, the best dessert in this place,"

Each one grabbed a beignet and ate some much of their delight, even Gus slowly ate his, even tasted great, Geist is nice...he is Hex, but still...Amity's uncle, who does everything to keep her happy.

Geist could sense something wrong, he looked at them. "Guys, I pay for the food...tonight I might do something really important, I promise that I make things promise...see you there,"

Each one waves at Geist but the boy thinks he is likely to do something at midnight and needs to say it before it is too late. Once Geist is alone, he senses a total of Paladins in the restaurant, so he releases his shadow, grabs each Paladin then swallows the whole of them, brings them outside, landed in the water.

Geist comes out of the building, as his shadow goes to him. "Good, now let's get this spell over with as soon as possible,"

"Are you telling the truth?"

Coming out of the boat, a Riverboat, all of them have fun, but time for the boy to speak what's on his mind, the one thing that was too hard to say to all of them mostly Amity whose eyes widened, that the words speak.

"No...that's a lie, you don't know it's'-" Amity said

"Think about it Amity, the only one we know today...who can use magic, having artifacts in his apartment, and I saw he got no shadow when leaving the apartment," Gus replied scratching his arm. "I saw him talking to his shadow with the book from the museum,"

"Maybe we should follow-" Eda stated stopped by Amity.

"No, we won't, my uncle is great, never in the right to cause problems, why do we believe something not true!" Amity shouted angrily

Willow defended Gus, blocking her as glared. "Hey, you can't just talk to Gus like that, he just trying to look out for us and everyone!"

"My uncle, whole time here, is making a great day, and I not gonna let you keep talk bad about him!" Amity shouted

"Girl, cool it...this kid, is telling the truth, for once he's said in his mind lately," Eda responded don't like this attitude.

"Amity..." Luz started touching her shoulder to make the Blight look at her. "Let's just talk,"

Amity frowned at Luz's answer. "You too Luz...you don't understand, my uncle...is the only one who truly understands me," She runs off much everyone's shocked, pulls out her book. "Adduc me ad domum avunculi mei..."

They see Amity disappear in a flash of pink flash, each one having their reaction.

"Wait she can do that?!" Gus shouted having his hands on his head.

"Maybe because will lot out of her, so used once or twice," Willow said

"I hope she'll be alright," Luz responded with a frown.

"Don't worry, she always comes back by following our signal, let's go back to Hooty before he starts doing a rampage,

King shivers. "I see things that are not pleasant."

Amity flashes to the place that pack of crowds, alarmed about what she is in, the people are too tall for her to see anything, and she begins seeing them getting taller and taller, trying to find their way out, wishing she didn't do that, stay with the people she knew, breathing heavily once again, her body feel heavy, and trying to keep it under control...she think just used magic- "Whoa!"

She tripped on a sidewalk, looked up, and saw her uncle's apartment much to her relief, she rushed to it, taking the elevator to the top. Using the passcode on the door when saw her uncle do it once, she got in, everything was dark, not here for now. So simply sits on the couch, waiting for Geist, but texts him ahead of time.

"Uncle Geist...something happened, they think you some kind of criminal, I refuse to believe it, I'm here in your place...and I kept getting this trauma being alone, I'm scared...I needed your-"

Before she finished the text, some figure came in from the window, and much to her surprise, she quietly spoke. "Inivisbilia."

She turns invisible, she sees the window open, and coming in is Hex, she widens at seeing him float to the bookshelf, holding up a magical artifact, and his shadow speaks. "It's almost time Geist...you think it's gonna work?"

Amity's heart sank seeing Hex take off his mask showing himself to be Geist, and looked at his shadow. "Yes, no one gonna stop it,"

The young Blight breathes heavily just seeing her uncle, the one she looked up to, in a life of crime, she got to get out of there, so she slowly goes to the door, not even a crack, but once closes the door, she hits her foot on the wall makes both Geist and his shadow to look at the door, both glared.

Amity runs down the hallway, pulls out her book, and sees Hex come out held out of his hand. "Ignis inspiratione!"

A big fire in his hand, ready to blast, Amity spoke her words quickly as she flashed away just as the big fireball hit the wall causing an explosive, making a big hole.

"Who was that?" The shadow asked

"Don't know but we got to move the artifacts to another place," Hex said

At the motel, the gang just trying to wait for Amity, and all of them are worried for her, she never acted like this before, most one is Gus who thinks shouldn't tell Amity about her uncle like that, and especially Luz pacing back and forward, biting her finger...Amity has been through so much, should calm her down more than usual.

"It's my fault, I shouldn't tell her," Gus said shunning himself, Willow comforted him.

"No Gus, you tell us the truth, and glad I you did," Willow replied hugging him.

"Amity out there alone, she is getting panic attacks again," Luz state

"Come again," Eda questioned looking at her.

"Gus says back in the clowns, Amity was suffocating in the train when taken from her," Luz answered

"I think she-" Gus said seeing a pink flash of light, Amity landed on her knees. "Here!?"

"Amity!" Luz shouted she hugged her.

Amity breathing heavily, trying to speak. "Luz, I-I saw my Uncle, he was Hex...he's talking to his shadow...almost killed me,"

They were shocked to hear that, even King spoke. "Wow, that one hardcore origin story," He gets a glare from everyone as Gus does a harsh tap on his head. Luz hugged her and spoke in a calm voice. "Just breathe...you here with us...with me."

Amity breathed deeply until she finally calmed down, she looked down. "Still can't believe he's villain,"

"Amity even though he may be a villain, he still cares about you and loves you, we gonna stop him," Luz said seeing Amity slowly nodding.

Amity looked down. "I got to talk to him," With serious.

Hooty came in and shouted. "Guys got a problem," He morphed his head into a radio, as the reporter spoke from it. "And in the news of the weird, reports are coming in that the city's famed haunted history mansion has come alive, trapping dozens of visitors inside."

All of them knew it was Hex as Eda looked at them. "Kids, the RV!"

The RV arrives at the Mansion, Gus jumps out, he's curious about the place, no signs of danger, no screaming, not a single voice to be heard, and it's a little too quiet. Well, he looked at his watch and was ready to use the Omnitrix, but Kit jumped out and pushed past him, she ran to the mansion while shouting. "Back off! I'll handle this."

Bat came out as putting on her mask. "Amity, wait up!"

Gus frowns at Amity's behavior, Willow pats his back. "Don't mind her, she's just in the zone, come on!"

Both magic heroines come into the mansion, see pitch black, and can't see a thing, they go to the stairs, only the lights come on, seeing loads of Paladins all over the first floor and the second, all targeting them, standing top of them is Stain who simple smile at his plan. "I knew you couldn't resist...Bat and Kit...FIRE!"

Each Paladin shoots their electric wires at Bat and Kit, and both close their eyes, thought to be trapped by them, but they don't feel a spark from top of them. They opened their eyes and saw the wires is top of them getting absorbed by Gus's small trickster hero, Vibe Spark.

"Glade you got us huh, right back at yaw!" Vibe Spark shouted as he sent the electricity right back at Paladin who got a major shock, some of them passed out while others fell on their knees.

Stain glared to see more allies of Kit and Bat coming in, he shouted. "Take care of the intruders, I gonna take on the magic girls,"

The main heroes seeing Stain landed with a big slam causing a shockwave, looking at Bat and Kit who were startled as he deadly glared at him. Willow in her iron form, charged at him forming her left hand into a hammer.

Vibe Spark sees Stain pull out his gloves and sees the tattoo, it's really strange. "Wait...stop!"

Too late, Stain grabbed the whole of Willow, as suddenly his hand glowed deep, releasing her a major shockwave to the wall, a powerful impact. Willow is right thanks to the armor but her major shock impact hurts. "Oooh."

Eda seeing this turns to Bat and Kit. "Go, run! He after you two!"

Spark Vibe blasts his lightning at two Paladins. "Run we handle them!"

Stain gets wrapped by yellow rope, and gets electrocuted by Spark Vibe, seeing both girls running up the stairs. "Argh!"

He ripped off his jacket showing his muscular features, having a tank top, showing loads of tattoos on his left arm, he jumped high, grabbed the wooden rail, and landed in front of them.

"Wait stop, why wanna kill us? We the heroes!" Luz question

"All begin good in the beginning, but sooner or later, all of you will turn bad, you two be easy," Stain responded slamming his hand on the floor.

The floor breaks apart, going towards Bat and Kit, who both jump out of the way, Bat creates a glowing purple light slide and goes to the far end, Kit grabs onto a curtain, causing it to fall over Hex, and as she drops safely to the floor, also topples a case of amour on him as well. "Shouldn't underestimate us, girls,"

Bat added the insult. "Especially ones that have powers,"

Both run off down a hall, with Hex freeing himself moments later, he is now angry with humiliation, and he chases after them. Bat and Kit gasp as she enters a room full of antique ornaments, no doorway, not even a fire exit, Kit sees Bat and begins searching for anything that can escape. "What are you doing?" Kit asked

"Secret Passage, every horror movie got one, take a look," Bat said throwing books down.

"Which one...This?" Kit rests her hand on a bust's head, revealing a button. As she presses it, a secret entrance in the fireplace is revealed to her.

Eda looked around with Vibe Spark, Willow, and King...they tied up the Paladins, and each one looked at the hall of Bat and Kit was now running from the top Paladin.

"They must have gone that way! Let's catch!" Vibe Spark shouted he flew up to the stairs, only the dial came on and transformed back to Gus, falling on the ground, looking up and glaring at his watch. "Who's side on you on?"

"We got to go, they need us!" Willow shouts as she grabs Gus by the waist and carries him.

They run down the hall, King on Eda's shoulder, he's spots the window, seeing that confused look. 'Why the sky purple?'

Stain stalks through the secret passageway and grins to himself, trying to find his targets, the magic duo continues to run down the hidden path, passing snakes, skulls, and rats before Amity makes a scream seeing a large spider.

The Paladin top soldier hears the scream, from the other side of the wall and he raises his hand, seeing lights coming from the other side makes his eyes widen, and the tunnel on top of Stain seemingly interrupts his attack, Bat speaks to frightened Kit who held up his energy hand. "It's just a spider..."

"But it's so big," Kit responded shaking a little.

They see rumbling from the rumble, both panicked and begin to run off, the debris breaking apart by an enrage Stain. The chase ensues with Stain roaring at them causing the girls to run faster, Stain slams his hand on the ground causing a destruction path, and they jump out of the way, the shockwave breaking a hole into the mansion's courtyard. The girls get out of the building only to see Hex on top of a building, casting a spell through the sky.

"Uncle Hex?" Kit's question is painful to see right in front of her.

Bat sees him finish a spell, the sky begins to turn back to normal. "We're too late!"

In the last few seconds, Stain throws his hand at them but they dodge just a split second, causing a major shockwave explosive... makes Hex turn his head.

"Hmm?" Hex questioned with a suspicious glare and held up his staff.

Hex enacts a spell that causes the gargoyles around him to come alive, with glowing red eyes, set to attack the intruders. The others came seeing Bat and Kit were in trouble, so they sprinted into action; Gus changed into Strong Arms, Willow absorbed the ground got rock armor, Eda held up her staff, and King made a serious glare to battle the stone creatures.

Kit sees the one who controls them. "Luz, I got to get that book, can you help me jump there,"

Bat nodded she created a purple jumpy machine that looked like a come from a game, Kit ran to it, jumped on it, and sent flying to the sky, towards Geist, and snatched the book. "Hey!" Hex shouted

The main hero battling against stone gargoyles, Willow battling one of the stones, holding the large teeth, which break apart then crush the head until broke apart. "That was easy..."

Eda sees the gargoyle charge toward her, she creates a pure yellow blast, breaking through the gargoyle, top of it...King screams at it cause to turn into crumbs...Both smirks at the pieces creature on the ground. "Stone creatures easily break." snarled chuckle.

Strong Arms walks forward, picking up a gigantic decorative sword and making a taunting gesture at the gargoyle. It runs towards him as he spins the sword to clash with it, "Going... going... gone!" he shouted. Both the creature and the sword crumble to bits. "Oh yeah...and you." The final, gargoyle gets trapped in a choke-hold until its head gets vaporized by Strong Arms crushing it. "Learn that from Willow,"

Willow seeing this, tears up. "Now I felt what my Dads felt when I doing wrestling."

Bat came to them. "Thanks for back up guys, you see Amity?"

"I thought she was with you," Eda said making Bat worried.

"Huh...Guys," King replied seeing Stain was nowhere in sight.

"Oh no, she alone with both people chases her!" Bat shouted in panic.

Kit kept jumping on rooftops, trying to get away from Hex, who caught up with her, she made it to the big structure building, and she turned to see Hex fly down grabbed the whole of her upper suit, glared deeply, and held up his staff. "Should have messed with me girl...now..."

Kit does one thing to stop him, one thing to know if he is the same uncle she knew, she pulls out her mask to reveal her face. "W-Wait..."

Hex's eyes widened to see who Kit was. "A-Amity?"

Amity looked scared and spoke in a stuttering voice. "U-Uncle Geist...please..."

Taking off his mask, having a horror look, realized he'd almost hurt his family, especially the one who looked up to him. Amity sees her uncle's shocked look, he closes his eyes, open with a serious look, she thinks he's gonna do what needs to be done, but only to see his shadow appear in front of her, putting back on her mask, he place her down, he slowly back away from her...and he did something that didn't see coming.

Geist felt a sharp strike through his chest. "ARGH!"

Amity widened, she had just seen her uncle, getting struck by a rock-sharp stone through his left chest...the only thing says in pure scream. "NOOOOO!"

Stain only one who throws the stone, seeing Amity grab the whole of Geist's body and take off flying. "You not escape me-"

Stain gets hit by Strong Arms punch, sending him to the ground, then a stone armor Willow comes down and hits him down cause a big circle. He looks to see all of them circling him around with a big glare, especially Kit, holding up her energy hand, she spoke with deep anger. "Don't move..."

"Sorry, it seems the end of one those harm this planet," Stain said slamming his hand on the ground.

The whole area created a big dust cloud, making each one cover their eyes, Strong Arms held up all four hands and made a big shockwave, causing the dust cloud to disappear, Stain was nowhere in sight...but that was not their worry about, it's their friend that flies off in top speed.

Amity in the forest, landed roughly, she looked at her uncle who breathing heavily, Ghost was tearful also to her master in an injured state, and she quickly pulled out her book, trying to find anything for her book. "Where is it...where is it...where is it?"

"Amity...calm down...it's okay," Geist said with a smile.

She took off her mask and had tearful eyes. "No...I shouldn't be there, you would not end up like this, why do you even graveyard?!"

Amity felt a peck on her forehead, she looked up to see a magic bird on her head, it flew off, and seeing loads of magical creatures, her eyes widened. "Y-You were..."

"Casting an invisible spell, to protect the forest from any those tried to harm them," Geist said with a small smile.

"It's my fault you...you..." Amity replied feeling her cheek get touched.

"No...don't cry little one...please don't cry...I should have told you this sooner, I just hated to see you cry." Geist states slowly breathing. "You greatest of all of us Amity...you become something that I hope, remember what we promise?"

"B-Be myself?" Amity asked gripping his hand, feeling something in it.

"Yes...do what your heart telling you what's right, be...be around the people who loved you, just...grow up to lady you choose to be. Ghost...I leave you to take care of Amity, be her staff from now on alright." Geist answered seeing Ghost nod making him smile, and looked at them. "I'll come back..."

"U-Uncle Geist..." Amity said she saw her uncle slowly breathing. "No...please..."

Geist spoke final breath. "I'll come back...Afferte...me..ad...do...main...Leo...de...graii-"

He then glows in purple light then poofs out of glowing sparkle light, Amity does nothing but see her beloved Uncle floating away from her...she breathes heavily, letting out another scream in pure sadness this time. She felt hugged and turned to see Luz with others, Amity only hugging her for comfort, each of them hugged Amity after losing someone she was so close to...the only thing she got from her uncle was Ghost and...

His Stone necklace.

On the highway, the RV is driving, and nobody is talking, not even Hooty after hearing what happened, the only thing Luz does is comfort Amity who rubbing Ghost, now the cat Palisaman is her...will take care of her for her uncle. And wears her Uncle's necklace, which is one of the stones like Luz but the witch in training wanna Amity to keep it to remember her time with Geist.

Eda drives away, she looks at both girls who look out the window. "You know, you two make for a pretty impressive team."

"Yeah, thanks," Amity said

"I mean it, you two should keep up, can you train both of you," Eda said looking at back. "And the Dweebus need to be talked to you,

Amity looked at Gus he spoke in a frown. "Amity, you ever breathe heavily, feel like your body shutting down, sweating with large crowds, especially...not around us?"

"Y-Yeah, why?" Amity asked

"Just I fear...Amity...I think you have Autophobia," Gus answered looking at her.

Amity's eyes widened. "W-What..."

"You scared to be around unfamiliar people, fear being alone," Willow state

"How did that happen?" King asked in confusion.

The boy rubs his head. "I think starting when we first got you, that Paladin capture must have struck you very hard, since then...you scared of getting captured again,"

Luz hugged Amity much her surprise. "Don't worry Ams, with me...you won't be alone,"

Amity blushes at her words. "Thanks, Luz,"

Everyone begins to talk once again making the young Blight, smile at the people she knows...but the boy sees this scene and how long will last, sure Summer is fun, but some of this hero work will cause strain between all of them, he looked out of the window, seeing the stars especially the two stars that shines out the most.

Gus closed his eyes and spoke. "Please...have everyone I love and care about be safe and happy."

"You end one of them...that's not part of the plan!"

Lilith talks to Stain as he recovers from his battle. "Say ended one of them, always finish my deal,"

The raven-haired lady growled, she stood up and walked out seeing the sky. "Time gets extreme major."
