Linka and Rita came home from the hospital, in the same awkward silence they had left in. Linka held the picture of her precious daughter tightly to her breasts.

When Rita came to grab Linka from her ultrasound, Linka instantly noticed the bandages tightly wrapped around her mother's hands.

However, Linka couldn't bring herself to look at the older woman. Linka was hurt and angry that her mother refused to come see Linka's baby.

Did the older woman hate her now? Would her Dad act the same?

Linka ignored her mother and went upstairs to start her homeschool work packets. Despite pulling her from school, Linka's mom and dad wanted to be sure she wouldn't fall behind.

The preteen wished she could confide in Lynn Jr, but her parents were watching Linka like a hawk. Seeing what happened to herself, Linka had no confidence in her parents' further reactions...

There were hard footsteps approaching the hallway. Linka poked her head out and caught sight of Lars, with blood streaming down his nose and soaking the stripes on his sleeves.

The preteen acted without thinking, Linka walked up to her little brother, "Lars! What happened?"

Linka was unprepared for the venom that Lars was about to unleash...

"Lynn is an asshole", Lars spat, attempting to push past Linka.

Standing in the way purposely, Link cupped Lars' cheek. "Let's get you to Levi so he can look at your nose."

Linka spoke in a soft tone, and the tension in Lars's shoulders slowly dissipated. He allowed Linka to push him in the direction of Levi's Lab.

They made the walk in silence, Lars kept sneaking glances at Linka until finally she stopped him outside of Levi's door.

"Is there anything you want to say to me, Lars?" Linka asked.

The goth looked uncomfortable, as if he were thinking about what to say. "...Why won't you say anything?"

Linka blinked in surprise, absently rubbing her swollen belly. "Say anything about what?"

Lars let out a long suffering sigh. "About how Lynn is the father of your baby"...

In that moment, Linka felt her blood run cold, and she started to pant slightly. Lars noticed her reaction and shook his head. "Relax... I won't add any more stress to your shoulders... Unlike Lynn, I know how delicate your condition is."

Linka let out a small sigh. "How long have you known?"

Lars seemed to peer deep into Linka's soul. "I've known for far longer than I'd like to. I should have told before things got serious...I didn't think you two would take your relationship to that level."

It was strange having this conversation with Lars. It was scary how astute he was. It also saddened Linka to know that he had kept these feelings to himself for so long.

"Are you mad at me?" Linka asked.

" I...don't know what to feel, you and Lynn shouldn't of gotten together. It makes me mad at him because he should of known better...I'm worried about you Linka what of something bad happens...girls aren't supposed to have babies until they're older", Lars explained.

The sound of someone clearing his throat made Linka and Lars turn to gawk at Levi, who was standing in his doorway. "I believe that this conversation would be best had behind closed doors."

With that said, Linka and Lars pulled into Levi's lab. The prodigy packed gauze into Lars's nose and set his fracture. Linka felt her temper flare at Lynn. He knew better than to hit their younger brothers.

Levi cleared his throat after patching up Lars" Now, if I can speak freely. Lars's concerns are valid, you are the definition of a high risk pregnancy Linka due to your age. The possibility of deformities are low, but you are looking at the potential for early and premature births, rapid bloodloss, and a list of other issues"...

Linka looked down at her belly, fighting off the fear she felt growing. "Doctor Figaro said my baby was healthy... infact, she's a little bigger than she should be."

Levi looked slightly uncomfortable while Lars, stared at Linka's stomach. "She"?

The prodigy hesitantly placed a hand on Linka's belly. "You're farther along than I originally thought, if you allow me, Linka. I can monitor your pregnancy at home to minimize complications."

Linka's baby must have known she was being talked about, because it started to kick, catching Levi off guard. Lars's eyes widened, and he too held his hand to Linka's belly to feel the baby kick.

Levi's face softened and a small smile graced his face. "The creation of life is truly fascinating and beautiful."

"Do you think she can hear us?" Lars asked, rubbing the spot where the baby had just kicked.

Linka felt happy tears stream down her cheeks, she pulled Levi and Lars into a crushing hug. "I love you guys, you're going to make great uncles."...

Loki Loud knew he had a temper. It was something his parents warned him about, like his grades and school.

Normally he didn't care too much, as the eldest he had certain responsibilities that he had to uphold especially in a family as big as his.

The last few weeks, Loki has been in a state of disaster. He got into a fight at school, bombed one of his golf events, and picked a fight with Babe.

It all led back to what was going on at home. His baby sister had a bun in the oven, and Loki couldn't believe that Linka had gotten herself into so much trouble.

To make matters worse, she wouldn't say who the father was, and Loki for the life of him couldn't understand why.

Luke, Lane, and Loni were asking around the middle school to try and figure out if Linka had a secret boyfriend or something. Loni still hadn't moved back with Loki, and he knew he'd have to apologize to his brother sooner rather than later.

It was frustrating because Loki felt like he was the only one actually upset, his parents were trying to hide Linka's pregnancy while Loni, Lane, and Luke were practically encouraging her. Was Loki the only one left with common sense?

It didn't really surprise Loki that neither of the boys were waiting for him by the van after school. They were hell-bent on their plan to find the dad, and Loki wasn't putting up with their collective shit.

The oldest Loud son got into the Van and started his silent ride home. It was weird not listening to Luke's singing or Lane's stupid jokes. Loki particularly missed Loni's sunny personality.

Loki turned on the radio and started tapping his steering wheel. Mick Swagger's "Baby momma Drama" filled the car, and Loki shut the radio off in frustration.

Why did it have to be his little sister? Linka was a good girl, not the type that ran around with boys, so how had she gotten herself in so much trouble?

The sight of Lynn Jr walking home alone on the side of the road had Loki pulling over.

The preteen's eyes were swollen and it looked as if he had been crying. Lynn threw his bag in the back row and slammed the van door.

Loki started to drive, while Lynn rubbed her eyes hard and sniffled a little bit. Seeing that Lynn wasn't forthcoming about what had her so upset, Loki gave the teen about five minutes before he started speaking.

" Hey...did something happen at school, junior?" Loki asked.

Lynn's gaze was downcast, shaking his head in a sullen manner. Loki, however, was undeterred in his questioning, "Did you get into a fight?"

Lynn shook his head, still choosing to stay silent. Loki groaned. Lynn wasn't the most sensitive, nor was Loki so to see his little brother so upset meant that it was serious.

Loki pulled the van over and parked it. He turned to Lynn and crossed his arms. "Alright, we're not doing this. Spill it."

Lynn Jr looked away almost ashamed. "I did something bad, and Lars confronted me. I got mad, and I punched him."

Loki's fist made contact with Jr's shoulder and the teen hissed in pain. "Keep your hands to yourself, unless you want to catch some".

That left the question of why Lynn punched Lars, rolling around the back of Loki's head. What happened between the two boys? However, Loki knew that fighting did happen, especially with everyone living so close.

"What did you do? Why did Spooky confront you" Loki asked curiously.

The brunette looked pale and shook his head. "It's something between Lars and me, and Linka."

Hearing Linka's name mentioned gave Loki a pause. Linka's pregnancy took everyone by surprise, and it may sound selfish, but Loki hadn't considered how the younger kids were taking it.

"Are people saying anything about Linka?"

Lynn became guarded. "No, no one is talking about Linka. There was speculation, but I've been able to keep everything under wraps."

Loki's heart hurt, he knew how people talked about girls who got pregnantand he couldn't stand the thought of people looking down on Linka.

" Keep an eye out, don't let anyone talk badly about her...Linka is a good girl, she just did something really stupid" Loki said.

"What about the dad? He's just as guilty as Linka is", Lynn reasoned.

Loki snorted. "He's just lucky. We don't know who he is. I'll tell you something. He better hope that I never find out who he is."

Lynn Jr's eyes widened, but he decided to stay silent. He felt better after talking to Loki. However, it did nothing to ease his growing fear. If Lars told on him, Lynn Jr would be done...

Lane and Claudia started walking in the direction of the McBride's house. Lane danced around the conversation he wanted to have, unsure how to begin.

Thankfully Claudia started speaking. Is Linka okay? I haven't seen her since before the accident. I know your parents pulled her out of school.

Lane nodded. "Linka is fine. She probably won't be back in school until next year. You already know the reason why."

The younger girl's face paled a little, but Claudia shook her head. "I... have no idea what you're talking about, Lane!"

Claudia stuttered over her words, refusing to make eye contact with Lane. "It's... just silly."

Lane put a hand on Claudia's shoulder as he spun her around to face him. "We know about the baby. Linka's already in enough trouble. We need to find the dad so he can take responsibility for getting Linka pregnant."

Claudia's eyes widened and she muttered under her breath, "Oh, Linka..."...

The teens face softened at the worry on Claudia's face. She and Linka were two peas in a pod. "Do you know who Linka slept with? She told us some absurd story about the dad being from a different school."

The younger teen looked confused. "No, Linka hasn't really interacted with any of the boys from the other schools...outside of Lynn Jr's sports events."

Claudia's words rang in Lane's ears. They needed to get in touch with Lynn Jr to see if he knew about Linka getting a little too friendly with anyone.

Once Claudia's house came into sight, Lane felt a slight sadness, knowing that Claudia was leaving.

Claudia turned to wave goodbye, and Lane swore that his heart skipped a beat. He had enjoyed walking with her, and Claudia was able to give him some new leads.

Meanwhile at the house, Linka was cuddled up on the couch with Lars on one side and Levi on the other. Lexx and Leif soon followed suit, with Leif resting his hands on Linka's belly.

"Do you think she'll like us?" Leif asked.

Lexx snorted, attempting to push Leif off Linka's lap. "I bet she'll love me...you guys are more of an acquired taste."

Linka giggled at the twins' bickering. So far, Lexx, Leif, Levi, and Lars were the only ones Linka had told the gender of the baby. And safe to say, her younger brothers were totally excited.

" Levi cleared his throat, " From the amount of movement, I can only deduce that she will be an active toddler. However, I believe that I will be the best uncle."...

From her position, Rita could clearly see and hear everything. The sight of her children so close together warmed her heart. It also made Rita feel guilty about her earlier actions.

Linka was still a child, and while Rita was disappointed in her, there was an innocent life to consider. Her first grandchild.

Rita cleared her throat, announcing her presence, and the kids froze. Linka's smile disappeared almost instantly, making Rita regret her actions. She hoped she had damaged her relationship with Linka forever. Rita knew she had a lot to make up for.

"Hey kids, how are you doing?" Rita asked softly.

The mother of eleven sat on the couch next to Levi, while the twins regaled her with their tales from school. Levi and Lars were noticeably quiet.

The dried blood on Lars's shirt sleeves, and his swollen nose had Rita cupping his cheek with concern. "Lars! What happened?"

The black-haired boy just shrugged his shoulders. "I got into a fight with Lynn Jr."

Linka and Levi exchanged knowing glances while their mother scolded Lars, "Lynn knows better than to put his hands on anyone. I'm going to have a talk with him when he gets home."

Rita turned and gave Linka an apologetic look, "I need to apologize for the way I've been acting...I let my anger and frustration take over...I'm still not completely lifting your grounding until I know who the father is, but I'll let you tell me when you're ready".

With that said, Rita pulled Linka into a tight hug. Soon, Lars, Levi, Lexx, and Leif were all joined in the group hug. The sounds of footsteps approaching were accompanied by Lane and Luke, followed by Loki and Lynn Jr. The boys joined in on the group hug, setting any worries aside.

Lynn Sr. found everyone still locked in the group embrace, a smile spread across his lips. His beautiful family...
