AN: Don't worry, i'm still working on this story. Just took me a while to publish them. Anyway, Here's part 2

Act 1 (chapter 1): The travel goes to same direction

Part 2: Hop to another adventure!

The year is 2024

The sky felt windy as the sun was bright, yet it felt a breeze in the city of Los Angeles, California. The town was full of people touring the Hollywood like they were on vacation. The streets filled with vendor workers and street performers in their costumes.

It wasn't just humans, but surprisingly most humanoid amphibians like most were mixture of frogs, toads and newts were became part of the world. It's been a year since the re-activation of the portal machine, made by Terri and under supervised by Agent X, merged earth and amphibia together with the island of amphibia located at the Pacific Ocean. So, they begin to explore the world with the help of it's people. They seen the world and brought their cultural to earth as earth brought in theirs as well.

Over at the west area of L.A., the two-layered house which was looking small, yet big on the inside. Outside where a Thai-American woman, wearing her mostly green collared t-shirt, and had her hair being pony since it was puffy if she didn't brand them. Her name is Anne Boonchuy. She was outside her white ford 2006 van, with luggage to put in her trunk. She had like five-eight pieces of luggage, including herself.

"Can you guys help me out with this?" Anne asked to two other people, "It would be faster to be on the road."

Appearing next to her were her two friends, who also helped her out. One of them wears a pink-reddish skirt with light blue v-shirt with black jacket. She even look a bit buff, with her short blonde hair. She carried her bag, and picked up two luggage to Anne's van trunk. Her name is Sasha Waybright.

"Got you covered," said the blond haired girl as placed the luggage's to the trunk.

The other one was wear a white-pink shirt and had a blue jacket with green pants. She also had a long black hair with green hair clip on her left side of her hair. She was also carrying her handbag with picked up two handle of luggage as well and placed them back of Anne's van. She appeared to be an Asian descent. Her name is Marcy Wu. Anne's sweetheart.

"Good thing," said Marcy as she was close to the trunk, "we have more guys to join our party."

Then, came from the house were two pink and purple frogs, a toad and two newts. The pink frog was Anne's friend when she first arrived at Amphibia, name Sprig and he looks a bit older than then last time, with his gold hair extended out, still wear his green hat-like beanie, black pants, and a scarf, came with his goggles on top of his hat.

The little frog next to Sprig was Polly, Anne's adoptive sister. She appears to have wearing an overall with her yellow shirt, and had a brown hair and bow-tie like she had when she was a tadpole. She had her bag, which was a handbag with stickers of anime like full metal alchemist. Both her and Sprig help out with the luggage to the trunk.

The toad, Grime, was wearing an oversized shirt since he was big, and appeared to be a dark-green color toad with a right arm since his other arm was chopped by Darcy years prior. He also have his right eye being scarred and a blue eye while he had his regular eye on the left. He also had a goatee beard.

The newts, Lady Olivia and the former general Yunnan, were married. Olivia wears her previous amphibia gown, almost like a queen dress, as she wore after the trio girls left Amphibia. Yunnan worn her sailor's looks with her weaponry on her forearm. They were also carrying their handbags for both of them.

"I honesty can't believe it," said Marcy, "going to Fresno for another convention for Anne-mphibia! and this time, with you guys!" She goes to the van as she said this at the passage seat where she threw her bag in.

"Yeah," Sprig said, "and it was amazing you use me as awesome sidekick to this Anne in your story. I'm on chapter six."

"I'm still reading half way through the tenth chapter," Grime said, "but I'm hoping nobody, even these fans of yours, are telling me the spoilers. I still want to know what happened to that handsome toad Grinny."

"I wouldn't say 'handsome' per say," Polly said, "more like a darker tone version of the toad, like they made that new Netflix's Pinocchio to be dark tone in story and for the theme." Grime frowned as he thought it was similar/compared to him.

"That's hurtful," said Grime, feeling offensive.

"Perhaps," Lady Olivia said, "this webcomic of yours sound quite accurate to your time in Amphibia. Quite similar." She said this as she and Yunan placed their bags in the middle section of the van inside.

"Yeah, it did," said Yunnan, "and this newt version sounds like…" She then posed herself like a spotlight just hit her, focusing on her before she continued. "…General Yunnan!" Yunnan continued, "Scourge of the sand-war! Defeater of Ragnar the wretched-"

"I know, sweetheart," Lady Olivia interrupted calmly, "We know. It was sweet for master Marcy to use you as an inspiration."

"Yeah," said Sasha, "and honestly, I'm glad this webcomic was made. It's like our time in Amphibia, only I had a concern about this."

"Like what, Sasha?" Asked Marcy.

"Was there a reason you included Anne's name for the title?" Sasha asked,

"Oh," Marcy said, embarrassed, blushing, "I just thought the title is homage to Anne. After all, she did saved everyone, even me because she's have heart." She then sees Anne, who was blushing wraps her arm around Marcy. She was giving Marcy the loving face.

"And i'm glad you name your work after me," Anne said, before she side-kissed Marcy on the cheeks.

The group awed for a moment, until it was interrupt.

"So, does that mean Anne won't have a boyfriend anymore?" Hop-pop asked nervously. Before anyone answer, a luggage, the size of purse, was thrown towards the elder frog, hitting him to the back of the car. It was Anne who threw it.

"I'm sorry, Hop-pop," Anne said, "but you do deserved that."

Few minutes later.

Everyone then got in the car, including Olivia, Sprig, Polly and Sasha.

Anne notices something about Marcy, like she looking a bit blue. She begin to check on her.

"Mar-Mar, is everything okay?" Anne asked as Marcy looks at her like she may have a thought or two.

"Yeah, i'm okay," Marcy replied, "it's just...I'm somewhat nervous about the convention over at..." She sigh. "...at the town we used to go to as kids. I just feel like those memories were coming back, good and bad, even..."

"Hey, listen Marbles," Anne said, "I understand. I feel a bit nervous for me to return to town as well, but hey, we can do this together no matter what. As long as we're together, okay? we got this, babe." Anne lean in to Marcy's face, kissing her on the lips. Marcy was blushing and giggling.

"How did I have an amazing girlfriend like?" Marcy asked.

"I guess i'm somewhat lucky," Anne replied as she hugged Marcy as both of them hug together, "I love you, Mar-Mar."

"I love you too, Anna-banana," Marcy said as they hugged for a moment before they released themselves as they are about to get inside of the car.

Anne took the driver seat, while Marcy took the passenger seat. Grime, Sprig and Sasha took the middle seat row while Lady Olivia and Yunnan took the backseat row.

"Everyone ready?" Anne asked, which everyone nodded in agreement before she spoke again, "Then Fresno! Here we come!" She starts to initiate her van and the engine starts running, fully gassed and ready to hit the road. They took the freeway North FW-60. They joined the other cars in their journey.

As they were driving, Marcy notices something about Anne, she seems a little happy, yet a little frown like half. Unknowing to Anne Marcy have something in her mind, something she wants to tell her, but she was scared to tell her after everything during Amphibia adventure. She decided to keep it deep inside her mind for now, because she got a convention to attend to.

Their road trip will run smoothly, knowing they will have their best time there, passing through the road as their trip will be amazing.

AN: I decided to adjust the idea of Anne and Marcy's childhood at Fresno in my timeline. It would lead these two to revisit the city they haven't gone for years since the encounter. For Marcy, she have something in her mind, but what is it? We'll find out soon.

Since the book, Marcy's Journal, states that Terri invited the calamity trio to see her for a surprises, I figured that it was a new portal to Amphibia. So, I decided to play around few ideas and having two worlds together as one kind of brighten my mind. So, I decided to implied this here.
