AN: Here's part 4 and final part of the first chapter.
Act 1 (chapter 1): The travel goes to same direction
Part 4: Crazy time
The Year is 2024.
The day was sunny in the town of Fresno. With the city, there was a place named, River Park. The place was nothing but buildings during the afternoon. They were colored mostly white, and a hint of yellow-golden color. Each buildings were fill of small, medium and large, stores.
Each store was either there for clothes, like H&M, Target, Old Navy, or Macy's. Others were serving food and beverages, like Jumbo Juice, Blaze Pizza, Yogurtland, etc. There were also palm trees partially in the middle or near the streets. Everyone was almost packed in every corner. Some were there to either hang out with their friends, family, or their loved ones. Others were shopping at the shop, working at the store.
The parking lots were nearly filled with every car, leering a spot or two. One car managed to find a spot, just across the theater. Once they parked the car, three doors, one in the driver side and the other from the passenger side and the other door from behind the driver side. The doors opened and three individuals came out from the car.
One of them is a man, dressed in button-up red shirt and a red vest, along with blue jeans. His brown hair mostly covered his forehead and had a pink nose at the pit of his nose. He got up from his seat and sat in the side of his car, closing the door behind him.
"Well, let's see how fun this place is based on your friend's recommendation, Mabel," said a man, Dipper as he was staring. Two other women shut their doors behind them. One of them, just across from Dipper, was almost identical to her brother. The only difference is that she was wearing a sweater that had shooting stars in front. She also had long hair, mainly brown, with black lining. She had a hair clip to her side.
"I'm sure this is it. It's called River Park, and they had a movie theater," said Mabel as she looked on her phone for checking and points at the theater that reads ' Regal' and below it is the side screen that shows a quick preview for each 12 seconds before switching to the next.
"I'm sure they might have forgotten to remove some of them," said a woman, Pacifica, right next to Dipper. She was a blonde-haired woman. She wore mainly her pink shirt that's almost made like a valentine's color tone, and with white jeans. She does wear her hair comb for her hair. She is dating Dipper.
She refer to the quick previews.
"Yeah they do," Dipper said, "Anyway, let's go." They all begin to walk over to the theater from the parking lot. The trio have enjoyed visiting new cities since their youth. It's been nearly 12 years since they first discovered mysteries at Gravity Falls.
They were nearly heading to the theater as they passed by everyone who was walking around the park. They were getting closer to the theater and they saw something that was different. They saw everyone in line, but in…costume?
Nearly half of them were dressed up in their red suits, red pants with yellow vest and a green shirt. Surprisingly, they all wore white make-up with their hair dyed in green, as if they were all rooting for Joaquin Phoenix.
"I can't believe we're in line with the nerds," Pacifica groaning said, "as if I only need a nerd in my life." Dipper blushed when she referred to him. Pacifica realized what she said, only to cover her mouth. This led Mabel to find this opportunity to take.
"Do i sense the atmosphere of romance?" Mabel teasy asked, "I'll get in line." Mabel then get in line while Dipper and Pacifica stood still, blushing at each other.
A moment of silence between them were still nothing, but a shocked face to each other, as Dipper seem to be hearing this in a long time while Pacifica was embarrassed to say, but was also kind of proud to refer Dipper as a nerd. The moment lasted for at least two minutes before it broke.
"So I am a nerd to you, huh?" Dipper asked nervously, Pacifica was looking at him, smiled while blushed.
"Yeah, you are," Pacifica replied, "but you're my nerd." She twist her hair, nervously as she said to Dipper,
"Hey, lovebirds!" Mabel shouted out, "I found us a spot here!" Dipper and Pacifica then went over where Mabel was standing, which was over underneath the screen below.
"How did you get in line so fast?" Dipper asked.
"My buddy's here," Mabel replied, as she point to a blonde woman who appears to be wear a t-shirt of the joker while wearing her headband of horns. Next to her is a Latino man, dressing up like a joker with red suits, yellow vest and green shirt. "Hey, these are my peeps that I told you about."
"Hi there!" said a blonde-haired woman, "How do you do? I'm Star Butterfly. Nice to meet you." She reaches her hand towards Dipper and Pacifica, whom extended their hands to hers, shaking it. She turns to her Hispanic man.
"Hey Marco," Star said, turned to her boyfriend, "I like you to meet…" she was interrupted when Dipper begin to speak,
"Marco?" Dipper asked, "As in Marco Diaz?" The Hispanic man, Marco Diaz, turned to Dipper, shocked to hear his name, as if Dipper recognized Marco before, before Marco spoke.
"Yeah, how do you…" Marco said as he paused to look at Dipper, only to recognize him instantly. "Dipper Pines? Is that you, buddy?" Marco asked shockingly.
"Yeah, it's me!" Dipper answered, as they laughed cheerfully and gave each other a pad in the back. "It's good to see an old friend again!" Dipper added.
"Same, brother!" Marco said, "how's life treating ya?"
"Oh you know, mysteries and weirdness and writing could've gone better," Dipper said, "and you?"
"Life is crazy," Marco said, "so many friends and enemies to encounter, even through school as teacher."
"Wait, you guys know each other?!" Pacifica and Star asked together.
"Yeah!" Marco and Dipper answered together, as if they were besties, in adult form. Mabel was surprised to see this.
"What a twist!" Mabel and Star said together as Mabel took out her phone and snapped the picture between Dipper and Marco.
"So how did you guys met?" Pacifica asked.
"Well, we used to attend the same school almost 17 years ago," Marco answered, "we were classmates together."
"Yeah, and we somehow keep hanging out almost everyday." Dipper added, "we would love to play board games, talk about science."
"Yep," Marco added, "and we did play our usual game: nerf."
"It's nerf or nothing!," Marco and Dipper said like from commercial. They strike a pose with their hand into a handgun, point in the air. They stood there for a second until they broke up with laugher.
Pacifica saw this and thought it was adorable, seeing Dipper seeing his friend like for a while.
Star looks at her boyfriend and his friend, feeling happy for them to reunite, even though she don't know Dipper personally.
Star then begin to speak.
"Mabel, I didn't know you have a twin brother," Star said, "it must've been awesome!"
"Well, you could say it was fun and adventurous," Mabel said, "Anyway, are you guys gonna watch Joker 2? Because we are"
"Say what?!" Star said, "We're gonna see that as well!" The girls squealed joyfully.
Marco and Dipper looks at them, surprised. They decide to go along with it. "stick with us in line then," Marco said, "It'll be better than being last in line." They looked at the line and sees a line formed at least behind the theater.
"Well, thank you, Marco," Dipper said.
They agreed, and got in line. Most of the people in line were either standing up, sitting down on their fold-in chairs, on the ground or stand by the walls. A group of people were playing cards, others were arguing which of a certain films, shouting their voices. Some group were playing games on their switch. One person from the argued group, Fernando, was looking for his prove of Transformers Rise of the Beast and Transformers One, noting the differences.
"I'm telling you," Fernando said, "This film states it was gonna be improvement, regarding of the storyline, character's development and being faithful to the original sources material while also put a new direction. Look at it!" He showed the images of young Optimus and Megatron from Transformers One to his pals, Grant, Steven and Duncan. Duncan is paranoid of the group. Steven and Grant were the voice of reason.
"And I'm telling you this that they're gonna be the most worst of all," Duncan said.
"Did you even see the photos here?" Fernando asked.
"I did and they're suck ass in my opinion," Duncan said.
"Again with this!" Fernando said, "Are you hearing me, dude? You are impossible sometimes!"
As the duo continuing fighting over go on, the line were waiting patiently as they were about to go in the theater. Unaware of an event that happens far from there.
AN: And that's chapter one folks. This nearly took me a while to divide chapter one into four parts.
As much fun as I did to create story, I also have work in the meantime. So, I'll try my best. The names listed at the last part of this chapter are cameos.
