"Your step-mother is visiting?" Shizuru noted.
Natsuki sighed, "Mai told you, I guess?"
"I can neither confirm or deny that," she purred.
Natsuki sighed, "Yeah, I promise to try to keep her pout of your way."
"Ah really don't mind her visiting. And you and Mai can skip the uniforms and such," Shizuru added wryly.
"It's not that I'm embarassed but...," Natsuki shrugged eloquently.
Shizuru rather suspected she was, but wasn't going to say anything. "So her and you father are coming?" she checked.
"Actually just her and my half-sister. He's busy with work," Natsuki noted wryly.
"What's your step mother's name?" Shizuru asked curiously.
"Rebecca Sayers," Natsuki said.
Shizuru paused, "Sayers? The US Sayers family?"
"Yeah?" Natsuki nodded. "Why?"
Shizuru looked VERY amused. "You DO realize you've met her cousin, Rena Sayers?"
Natsuki blinked, "I hadn't realized... shit."
"Yeah, this is going to get interesting," Shizuru agreed. She wondered if Rena had told her cousin that she had been dressing up Natsuki...? She asked, "Do you know where Rebecca is going to be staying?"
"I don't know yet," Natsuki admitted.

"So, we'll go out again Friday," Mai agreed as she and Mikoto met during lunch.
"Hmm," Mikoto was sharing a BIG lunch Mai had made them. "I think you're the best cook ever," she said sincerely.
Mai chuckled, "Thank you."
"Seriously. This is delicious!" Mikoto added energetically.
'Mom always said the way to someone's heart was through their stomach,' Mai noted, amused.
"Can you make us lunch tomorrow, too?" Mikoto asked tentatively.
"Of course," Mai agreed.
"You're the best!" Mikoto cheered then reached over the table to hug her.
"Eeep," Mai gasped as the girl squeezed.
"Down girl," Natsuki walked by, casually thumping Mikoto on the head.
"Ow!" Mikoto blurted, but let Mai go.
"No public displays in the cafeteria," Natsuki added, "you're giving people ideas."
Mai looked around and realized a LOT of students were looking at them. Natsuki kind of GLARED and most looked away, though.
"Oops." Mikoto looked sheepish, "Sorry."
Mai took her hand, "It's okay."
"GAWD THEY'RE CUTE," several viewers squealed.
Natsuki just ignored that. "WHY did you tell Shizuru my Step-mom was coming?" she asked Mai crossly.
"They might want to see where you're living," Mai pointed out reasonably, "Shizuru kind of needed to know."
"Yeah, yeah," Natsuki sighed.
"So is she a wicked stepmother?" Mikoto had to ask.
"Ha," Natsuki smiled wryly. "No, she's not that. It's... well, it's complicated. My dad cheated on my mom with her, but apparently she didn't know he was married."
"Eeek," Mai hadn't heard THAT before.
"Your dad is kind of a asshole," Mikoto noted innocently.
"Mikoto!" Mai scolded.
"Well, yes, he is," Natsuki conceded.
As they were finishing up their lunches Mai noted, "I kind of want to meet her, now..."

The week went by as most weeks did. School happened, work happened, the Mai and Mikoto ship took off over the school...
"Wait, what?" Mai asked.
"I swear you two are the biggest topic of gossip right now," Chie Harada noted cheerfully as they talked in the back of Mr Wong's math class.
Mai groaned.
"There are photos everywhere," Aoi Senou added cheerfully.
Mai groaned again.
"I would LOVE you to do another public display of affection," Chie smirked. She continued, "Ideally somewhere I could film it and post on youtube."
"DIE," Mai groaned.
Both girls laughed.
"Ladies?" Sergei Wong sighed. "Can you answer the question on the board?"
Surprisingly, Aoi nailed it, making him give in with a sigh.
The second date with Mikoto went well. She went to Mikoto's home, met her brother/guardian Reito...
"I don't like pretty boys," Mai told Reito bluntly at one point.
"Oh," Reito blinked.
"Sorry," Mai shrugged.
Mai had brought over dinner, which Mikoto (and Reito) raved over. They then hung out in Mikoto's room.
Seizing the chance Mai changed to one of the skimpier maid outfits from Shizuru. It was a BIG hit...
"Ack! Your nose is bleeding!" Mai yelped.

"Miss Sayers, hello," Natsuki said a bit nervously to her... Step-Aunt? Or something. They were both at the dinky Fuka airport, where they were waiting for the charter plane with Natsuki's Step-Mother and half sister.
"Just call me Rena, please," the older woman smiled. "You came with Shizuru to our shop once, right?" she remembered.
"Y.. yes," Natsuki admitted sheepishly.
"I wish my cousin had mentioned you," Rena mused. She added, "I knew she had married, but not all the details."
"It's okay," Natsuki shrugged a bit as she added, "I didn't really look too hard into my new step-family either."
Rena had been aware that Natsuki was distant from her step-mom, but not that it was this bad. Damn. Mind you, she knew the whole situation looked pretty bad from Natsuki's POV too.
"Well, I hope you'll know from now on that I'm family," Rena said after a moment, "and you can turn to me if needed."
Natsuki gave her a look that could be best described as 'dubious.'
Before they could continue, they saw the notice that the plane was coming in. "Come on," Rena said, "they should disembark soon."
A few minutes later a blonde woman and her attractive ten year old daughter finished customs, then headed into the waiting area. "Rena! Natsuki," the tall blond smiled, hugging Rena first.
"Big sister!" the little blond beamed up at Natsuki as she hugged her.
Natsuki stiffened uncomfortably, then made herself relax. "Hi Alyssa," she said.
Rebecca smiled a bit shyly at Natsuki, "Hello, Natsuki. Been awhile."
Rena winced at how awkward it all sounded.
Somewhat stiffly Natsuki nodded, "Hello, Step-Mother."
Rena stepped in as she said, "Elliot is outside with the car. We've arranged a nice hotel for you, downtown."
"Let us help with your luggage," Natsuki added.
"Thank you," Rebecca smiled.
Alyssa took Natsuki's hand as they walked, "You haven't called. Or emailed," the little girl pouted sweetly.
"I've been busy with school," Natsuki quickly answered.
"Still..." Alyssa pouted.
'HOW DOES SHE RESIST SUCH A CUTE KID?!' Rena found herself wondering. If Alyssa was pouting at HER she'd be wrapped around the kid's finger.

"So, Ms Sayers and Ms Chandler won't be in for a few days?" Arika Yumemia confirmed with her coworkers at Fantasy Costumes.
Nina Wong, the acting manager, nodded as she told them, "Yeah, Ms Sayers has some family visiting with her."
"Awww," Erstin Ho pouted slightly. She liked working under Elliot, especially.
"It'll be fine," Arika reassured her.
"All right," Nina said briskly, "let's get going. We need to restock the displays, first, then get orders ready to ship."
"Right!" both women chorused.
"You know, Nina's kind of sexy when she takes charge," Arika noted quietly to Erstin as they opened several packages.
Erstin blushed as she murmured, "Oooh, yeah."
Arika chuckled as she suggested impishly, "You should try calling her 'mistress' once. Just to see how she'd react."
"Hush!" Erstin scolded.
Thankfully Nina was too far away to hear that.
The bell above the door rang, and all three looked over.
Nina put on her professional smile as two women came in, neither one looking familiar to her. "Welcome to Fantasy Creations," she smiled.
"Hello," Midori Sugiura smiled, her spiky red hair falling around her shoulders, dressed in short shorts and a t-shirt.
The school nurse at Fuka Academy and Midori's girlfriend, Yohko Helene, followed beside her a bit more tentatkively. "This is a lot less... seedy than I expected," she noted.
Nina smiled a bit sheepishly, "We're very respectable, really, ma'am."
"So, where's the rubber and latex?" Yohko demanded impishly.
"Hey!" Midori scolded.
"Eeep," Erstin blushed, imagining one or the other in that...
"We actually DO carry some of those items," Nina admitted then asked, "did you two want to see a sample...?"
Midori was blushing, "She was joking. Really."
Nina wondered, considering the impish look in the woman's eye. "Well," she said briskly, "have you had a fitting here, before?"
"No, not yet," Yohko nodded.
"Then let's get you measured... Erstin, give me a hand," Nina said briskly.

Rebecca Sayers sighed as they met for breakfast at bher hotel, the day after she had arrived in Fuka. Her daughter, Rena and Elliot, Rena's long time lover, were there. Natsuki, not unexpectedly, had begged off.
"Alyssa, say ahhhhh," Elliot said, feeding the young girl some pancake.
"Aaaah," the cute little blonde opened her mouth, then munched happily.
While the little girl was distracted Rena addressed Rebecca and asked, "So, you and Natsuki don't get along?"
Rebecca winced, "Yes. Or really, we don't have a relationship at this point."
"You know, you don't HAVE to have a relationship with your step daughter," Rena pointed out to her reasonably.
"i know," Rebecca willingly conceded that, "but I feel guilty. I did break up her parents marriage after all."
"Your husband did that," Rena noted.
"Still. And with her mother gone, too...," Rebecca shrugged.
"Sometimes I think you're just too nice," Rena teased.
"So," Elliot smiled cheerfully, "what's the plans for today?"
"I'd like to see Fuka Academy," Rebecca admitted. "My husband placed Natsuki there, and it's a good school, but I don't know much about it."
"I can see big sis?" Alyssa asked excitedly.
"It would be in school, so probably boring," Elliot told the little girl.
"Still," Alyssa smiled.
Elliot turned to Rebecca and said, "I don't see why we coulfdn't visit. You and her father are her legal guardians."
"Then let's do that this afternoon," Rebecca smiled.
"Yay!" Alyssa smiled.
'Hopefully this won't annoy Natsuki too much,' Rena mused.

"All right class, pass the tests forward," Mr Wang said with a sigh.
"I'm SO doomed," Chie Harada sighed.
"He sprung a lot of stuff from the required readings on us," Mai groaned, "and didn't cover it in class. Bastard."
"He loved doing that," Aoi Senou agreed, pouting.
"It WAS in the required reading," Natsuki Kuga pointed out with a sigh. Not that she had done much better.
"Brown noser," Chie mocked mildly.
"She is right though," Mai sighed too.
Mr Wang packed up his stuff, "Please wait quietly before next period begins." And with that he hurried off.
"At least next perioid is Miss Fujino," one guy muttered dreamily. Everybody looked forward to seeing her and her sexy business dresses.
"So is it true you have family visiting?" Aoi asked Natsuki eagerly.
Once again Natsuki was surprised by how good the rumor mill was at Fuka. She scowled ay Chie, "How did you...?"
"I knew your family married into the Sayers from the gossip magazines," Chie admitted modestly, "and I have a friend working at the travel agency in town that handled the bopokings."
"You scare me at times," Mai noted, and Chie just shrugged.
Natsuki sighed, "Yeah, my step mom and half sister are here... she invited me to breakfast this morning, but I turned them down."
"You turned down a free breakfast with your step-mom?" Mai said disapprovingly. "I mean, that is a high class buffet..."
"And your little sister?" Chie noted. "That's bad..."
Natsuki sighed.
"Afternoon everyone," Shizuru beamed as she strode in.

The school principal, Maria Graceburt, REALLY wished her assistant Midori wasn't taking the day off. She would have much rather had her do this. However she knew the Sayers family was loaded, so keeping them happy was a must.
"Mrs Sayers, welcome to Fuka Academy," Maria smiled. "I'm Principal Graceburt. A pleasure to meet you."
"Thank you," Rebecca smiled, "this is my cousin Rena, my daughter Alyssa and a family friend, Elliot Chandler."
"Nice to meet you," Maria continued. "Now, I understand your step daughter, Natsuki, is attending?" she checked.
"Yes, she is," Rebecca agreed.
"Obviously, you'll want to stop in and see her," Maria noted, "but I was thinking we could start with a tour first?"
"Please," Rena smiled.
Now, Maria was well aware of Rena and Elliot's relationship. She didn't follow gossip, but they weren't exactly subtle. However it wasn't her business...
"Wow, neat!" Alyssa murmured as they went through the computer lab.
Several teens took in the cute blonde and sighed happily. "Awww," several murmured.
Maria had to fight the urge to adopt the cutie.
Elliot gave her a amused look, CLEARLY knowing what she was thinking.
"Ahem," Maria cleared her throat and continued, "as you can see, the library, computer lab and science labs are all top notch."
"Yes, they're impressive," Rebecca conceded.
"Well, let's go look in on Miss Kuga," Maria decided to move on. "She's in Modern English with Ms Fujino, one of our most popular teachers."
(Quietly Maria hoped Shizuru wasn't wearing one of her more daring outfits...)

Shizuru Fujino smirked as she noticed the boys and several girls drooling over her figure in a mid-length skirt and blouse. It was such a nice feeling being admired, even though she knew she'd never DO anything about it.
Natsuki Kuga, amusingly, was blushing as she looked away.
'Ah do love a shy butch,' Shizuru mused.
"Grrrr," Natsuki made an annoyed sound as Shizuru deliberately lingered by her desk. Shizuru bit back a laugh...
Gracefully Shizuru strode back up to her desk, "Now, I WANTED to use Sarah Waters 'Tripping the Velvet' for a assignment, but Ah was told it's too racy."
There were disappointed sounds from the class.
"I know, I know," Shizuru agreed, "but we're stuck with the BORING list of recommended books." She continued, "Pick a book from the list I handed out, and write a short essay on a character of your choice."
There were groans now, but Shizuru ignored that.
The door to the classroom opened, and Shizuru saw the Headmistress leading several women in. 'Interesting,' she mused. She recognized Elliot and Rena, of course, but not the other woman or the blonde child...
Natsuki looked up, then visibly paled.
'Huh,' Shizuru made a note of it, but carried on.
As class ended, the little blonde hurried over with a cry of, "Nat-chan!"
'Nat-chan?!' Shizuru though, amused.
Natsuki smiled weakly at the girl as she said, "Hello, Alyssa." She then asked, "What are you doing here?"
"We came to see you!" Alyssa beamed.
"Aren't you adorable," Shizuru noted. Introductions were soon made, and she felt Natsuki's step-mother studying her thoughtfully.
"I've heard SO much about you," Rebecca noted.
"Oh, I DO hope Rena and Elliot haven't told her about the maid outfits and such...,' Shizuru thought.
The smirks on Elliot and Rena's faces were worrying.

"Can I take her home with us?" Chie asked, utterly entertained by the little girl.
"Natsuki's step-mother might object," Mai noted.
"SO CUTE," Aoi agreed as they watched Alyssa and Natsuki interact, along with the Mom and two guests.
"So, that's the step-mom," Chie mused softly. "She doesn't LOOK evil."
"Shhh!" Mai shushed her.
Aoi added, "Well, that seemed to be Natsuki's thought."
"Well, she did sleep with Natsuki's Dad when he was still married to her Mom," Chie noted knowledgeably.
"How do you know that?" Mai asked.
"Timing of when Alyssa was born and when she married him," Chie shrugged. She looked over at Rebecca thoughtfully, "But looking at her..."
"Yes?" Aoi asked.
"I don't think she knew he was married," Chie decided. "She doesn't seem the type."
"And it's not like she stole him away for his money," Mai mused, "the Searrs family is actually far wealthier."
Natsuki, having waved goodbye to her family, stalked over. "Could you PLEASE stop gossiping?" she sighed.
Aoi gave her an amused look, "Your step mother and half sister showed up at your school. You're going to be top of the gossip lists..."
"Argh," Natsuki couldn't really deny that.
"Ah, Natsuki, Miss Searrs asked me for something," Shizuru came over too.
"Oh?" Natsuki asked.
"She wanted to see where you're living, so they're coming over to visit tonight," Shizuru said with a slight smile.
Natsuki looked up at her in shock, "WHAT."
Mai, meanwhile, burst out laughing.

"Wait a second," Rebecca blinked, "you two DATED her?"
Rena looked sheepish, having come over to the hotel to pick up her and Alyssa.
"Well, yes," Elliot admitted. "We were going steady for a few months."
Rebecca shook her head ruefully as she mused, "I'll never get used to open relationships. I'd get too jealous."
Rena ignored that, "I probably shouldn't have told you, though Shizuru is 'out'."
"It isn't a problem with the school?" Rebecca asked curiously.
"It's not like she's seducing students, despite what porn might imply," Elliot snickered.
Rebecca laughed.
"Don't be shocked by her house too," Rena added wryly, "she inherited it and money from her parents..."
"How big of a place?" Rebecca asked as they got Alyssa and headed out.
"BIG," Elliot laughed.
"Oooh, cool!" Alyssa explaimed as they got out of Rena's car.
"Damn," Rebecca blinked. It wasn't a mansion, but it was much larger than your usual Japanese home, with a large front yard and even a wall around it.
"Mom used a bad word!" Alyssa laughed.
"Sorry," Rebecca laughed.
Rena rang the buzzer by the gate, then the door unlocked.
"We PROBABLY could have gone right in," Elliot pointed out.
"Using the buzzer is polite," Rena shrugged as they strode up the walkway.
The door swung open and Shizuru smiled warmly, "Welcome."
"Miss Fujino, thank you for having us," Rena said formally.
"Please, just call me Shizuru," she smiled.
"Yo," Elliot waved, her and Rena already familiar with her, of course.
Alyssa was slightly stunned by Shizuru as she said, "Big sister, you're so pretty..."
"Thank you," Shizuru smiled as she waved the group in.
"You're not cooking for us, are you?" Rena asked. "Since you can burn water."
"Rena!" Rebecca scolded her.
Shizuru just chuckled, "It's fine. I actually have a cook now."
"Hello," Mai waved, wearing a apron over casual clothes. "I cook, in exchange for a discount on rent," she explained.
Natsuki, also in street clothes, deadpanned, "And I'm the scullery maid."
"What," Rebecca scowled at Shizuru.
"She JUST cleans! Really," Shizuru sighed.
Natsuki grinned, clearly amused at getting Shizuru in trouble.
"Do you ever dress as a maid?" Alyssa asked, fascinated by the idea.
"Sometimes," Natsuki rubbed Alyssa's hair fondly.
"Anyway," Shizuru said, "let me show you around."

Dinner went well, and Natsuki breathed a sigh of relief.
"So," Rebecca said quietly, "are you okay here?"
"Hmm?" Natsuki looked at her questioningly.
"I mean, your father and I worry about you, and I want to make sure you're okay. We can even put you up in a local hotel, if needed," Rebecca added.
"No, no, it's fine," Natsuki reassured her.
Rebecca STILL looked dubious.
"Ok, desert," Mai declared, bringing in a tray full of treats.
"Yay!" Alyssa beamed.
