A/N: Originally wasn't going to write another extra scene for Rollercoaster, but then naturally I thought of this one right as soon as I posted the last one... Anyway, the next one is going to be for Candace Loses Her Head. Also, since this was originally posted on AO3, I used a few emojis over there as there is a little bit of messaging, but since this site doesn't allow those so I just put what they were in parentheses and italics.
BOOM!
Pinky jumped from where he sat perched at his laptop. What in the blazes was that? Was it something exploding, and if so, what? Was every chapter of this going to start with a capitalized word with an exclamation point? Or did the explosion break the fourth wall too?
Suspicious, Pinky walked over to a window which looked out to the street. From the Flynn-Fletcher backyard he'd seen a rollercoaster earlier today, but for now it was nowhere to be seen. Instead, he saw a big plume of smoke coming from their tree. In fact, it looked like the top half of their tree was completely obliterated. He watched as someone turned on the hose and started trying to spray down the tree.
He could go down and help, but then again he could also stay inside in case anything else was going to be exploding. So instead he pulled out his phone, took a picture of the view, and texted Perry.

Predictably, Perry didn't immediately respond, so Pinky sighed and put his phone away in his pocket. He'd have to go downstairs for answers, wouldn't he?
Once he got downstairs, he heard Tía Vivian and Isabella talking, and he zeroed in on his cousin holding a very familiar-looking fedora in her hand.
"Did you hear that big explosion too, Pinky?" Vivian asked him.
"Don't know how I could have missed it, but it looks like nothing was really damaged from the window," Pinky answered.
"Yeah, I think I know what it was," Isabella added.
"Where'd you get the old hat from?" Pinky asked, pointing and trying not to appear nervous. Just because she had Perry's hat didn't mean she knew anything about their secret identities. In fact, it was highly likely she didn't know, considering if she did Perry would probably have his hat. Still, that didn't alleviate Pinky's fears, as with having Perry's hat she could find what he kept concealed in it.
"Oh, yeah, that fell onto my head out of nowhere," Isabella held it up, and added dreamily, "I didn't even notice it until Phineas mentioned it." Oh dear, she better not be going into Phineas-land again.
Pinky snatched it out of her hand while she was remembering the moment and pretended to examine it thoroughly, asking, "So, no idea who it belongs to?"
"No idea," Isabella confirmed, shrugging.
"Hmm," Pinky then placed the hat on top of his head crookedly. "I think I'd look rather fetching with a fedora, don't you think?"
Isabella giggled, "No!"
Pinky pretended to look offended, "Well, no matter, I'm keeping it!"
Vivian rolled her eyes at the cousins' antics and left to go to the kitchen.
Pinky would have kept teasing with Isabella, but just then his phone buzzed.
"It's Perry," Pinky informed her. "Maybe he'll agree that I'd look good in a fedora!"
Isabella just giggled in response, shaking her head, and headed up to her room.
