Chapter 112: Face Your Fear:
Shadow's POV:
My group was faced with Black Doom, and we couldn't believe what we heard.
"What do you mean," I asked.
"You were created by Gerald Robotnik, but it was I who provided the DNA... well, me and another. Our DNA was used to create you. You are the true heir of Black Doom!"
"Right," I said, "I don't see much of a resemblance."
"Well, you got your looks from your mother," says Black Doom, "Shadow, everything that's been done has all been because of this moment."
"What do you mean," I asked.
"Who do you think activated Chaos Control," says Black Doom, "I did that, because I had a feeling Sonic was somehow the one who inspired Robotnik, and I was right. Because he went back in time, he met Robotnik and... well, you know the rest."
"So, you did all that just so I could be born," I asked, "why?"
"I told you, you are the true heir," says Black Doom, "I didn't expect to have children at the time. Eclipse was expecting to become my heir, but you are my real plan."
"Stick with Eclipse," I said, "because I'm not interested."
"Just tell us where Sonic is," says Scar.
"I think you all need to learn some manners," says Black Doom. He then used the Phantom Ruby to turn the whole room into a house of horrors.
"How do we get out of this," asks Julie-Su.
"Everyone, I hahve hahd experience weeth fear, so fahllow me," says Antoine.

Thanks to Antoine, we got out of that room. Antoine then faints.
"Omega, did you manage to scan that guy," I asked.
"Affirmative," says Omega.
"And," I asked.
"Confirmed," says Omega.
"I was afraid of that," I said.
"So, now what," asks Scar.
"We keep doing what we're doing and if we find Knuckles' group... we try to rejoin with them. Something tells me this is bigger than us."
Knuckles' POV:
We managed to get away from those things.
"I think I cut my arm," says Sally.
"Let me help," says Endora. She then does something with Sally's arm.
"Hey, you healed it," says Sally, "did Shadow get that trick?"
"That's just a skill I learned from a clan of owls."
"Sonic was raised by an owl," says Tails.
"Wait, something's coming," I said.
It was Shadow's group.
"Knuckles, we need to talk," says Shadow.
"I'm listening," I said.
"I think we need to work together again," says Shadow, "Black Doom's phantom ruby is too powerful!"
"Let's face it," I said, "there's only one leader and we have to find him!"
"Agreed," says Shadow.
"By the way," says Grappler, "we have someone you have to meet!"
We then showed him Endora.
"Am I supposed to know who this is," asks Shadow.
"This... is your mother," says Sally.
"What," asks Shadow.
"Did you guys know-" Scar begins.
"That Black Doom is Shadow's Father," asks Jet, "Endora told us everything."
"After all these years," says Endora, "I never thought I'd get to meet you."
Shadow was just staring.
"This is an awkward moment," says Rouge.
"Hey, where are Antoine and Bunnie," asks Amy.
We then saw the two embracing.
"Antoine wouldn't shut up about how much he missed Bunnie," says Rouge.
"Same with Bunnie about Antoine," says Sally, "I really need to talk to those two about their closeness."
"Yeah, they're almost as bad as Day's parents," says Scar.
"C'mon," says Knuckles, "we have to find Sonic."
"And this time together," says Shadow.
Black Doom's POV:
Now they're reunited. It seems I have to try more tricks.
"What was that about Shadow being the true heir," asks Eclipse, "I've been so loyal to you!"
"You really want to prove yourself," I said, "then defeat Shadow! And tell Barnaby, it's time to party!"
"Party, we don't have time to party," says Black Inventor, "we're trying to take over the Earth!"
"Barnaby is obsessed with parties," says Black Warrior.
"Oh yeah."
