Chapter 113: Don't Let Your Guard Down:

Shadow's POV:

We were on our way to find Sonic, but then everything started getting weird. Then Eclipse came.

"It's time I show Father who the true heir is," says Eclipse.

"Who's ready to party," asks this ghost owl thing.

"Barnaby," says Endora.

"You know him," asks Tails.

"He was an old friend of mine," says Endora, "he threw the best parties, but then, he answered a challenge and... and he accidently killed himself!"

"Mobian Owls do live longer than any other Mobians," says Tails.

"Really?" asks Scar.

"Yes, but then I saw that being dead was the perfect way to party and now you're all invited to my party," says Barnaby. "there is one token fee to get into my party, however. The question remains; would you like to be stab, strangle, crush... oh... how about poison," says Barnaby as he chuckles. "that's always a good one."

"Shadow's mine," says Eclipse.

Eclipse and I then crashed through a wall.

"What kept' ya," asks Sonic.

"This place is like a maze," says Shadow.

Eclipse and I fought.

"I wish I could help you," says Sonic, "but my leg's busted."

"Hey, you must be Sonic," says Grappler.

"Don't leave just yet," says Barnaby. He then drops something, and Sonic finds it.

Sonic's POV:

I then confronted Barnaby, with my busted leg. "Hey," I asked, "why do you have this picture?"

Barnaby sees. "How dare you touch that picture of my beloved sister!"

"This is Longclaw," I said, "the owl I mentioned."

Barnaby pauses. "Y-Y-Y-you were... raised by Longclaw," asks Barnaby.

"Yeah," I said.

Barnaby then gets to the ground. "I miss her terribly," says Barnaby.

"You two must've been close," I said.

"She tried to warn me about the requests that I perform at my mystery murder parties," says Barnaby, "but I didn't listen and... where is she now?"

"I wish I knew," I said, "she wouldn't want you to kill us."

Barnaby then thinks about it. "You know, you probably wouldn't like my party anyway." Barnaby then leaves.

"Thanks, Uncle," I said.

"What are the odds," asks Knuckles.

Shadow's POV:

Eclipse and I were still fighting.

"I deserve to lead the Black Arms," says Eclipse.

"I don't even want the job," I said.

We fought, but then Amy knocks out Eclipse with her hammer.

"Nappy time," says Eclipse as he falls to the ground.

"Thanks," I said, "I owe you for that."

"You bet you do," says Amy, "this whole time, I've been trying to talk to you, but you kept casting me aside and I can't take it anymore! I LOVE YOU; YOU JERK!"

That caught me off guard. "UUUUUUUUUhhhhhhhhh... we have to go after Black Doom," I said, "Chaos Control!" I then teleported away.

Amy's POV:

I then realized everyone was looking at me. "What are you looking at," I asked.

"I don't want to answer that," says Grappler.
