Chapter 114: Thank You For Being You:

Sonic's POV:

Well, I'm back and now we're working on a plan to take down Black Doom. Endora was using her weird trick to heal my leg.

"So, Black Doom and Endora are Shadow's parents, and that weird ghost owl is the brother of Sonic's owl mother which would makes that weird ghost owl Sonic's owl uncle," says Rouge, "what's next?"

"I'll tell you what's next," I said, "we take Black Doom down and our best chance is to get to the Phantom Ruby!"

"Turns out, Tails is the Chosen One who can defeat the Phantom Ruby," says Knuckles, with the help of an avatar and some other champion."

"Okay, there's an option," I said. I then stood up.

"You should rest your-" But before Endora could finish, I then ran around. I got my speed back. "Does he ever sit down and listen?"

"No," Sally, Antoine, and Amy all say.

"Now, we just have to find Black Doom and figure out a plan to get to the Phantom Ruby," I said.

"Shadow is probably looking for Black Doom," says Omega.

"And to get away from his little shock," says Rouge.

"Like it's my fault he's not good with emotions," says Amy.

"Really," asks Endora.

"Did you notice that when he met you, he didn't hug you," asks Knuckles, "Shadow's like Batman, but shorter."

"What's a Batman," asks Endora.

We should all remember she's been frozen for fifty-two years.

"Let's think of a plan," I said. Everyone then starts walking.

"Sonic, there's something I want to say to you," says Sally.

We then shared a kiss.

Shadow's POV:

I then found Black Doom's throne room.

"Shadow, so good of you to come," says Black Doom, "you already got your Sonic back, what more could you want?"

"I want to take you down," I said.

"You can try," says Black Doom.

I then tried to fight him, but he kept messing with reality. How do you fight someone that can do that? Then a blue streak hit him in the face. It was Sonic! Then Knuckles punches Black Doom. Then I saw that it was a distraction. While everyone keeps Black Doom busy, Grappler takes the Phantom Ruby.

Grappler's POV:

I got the Phantom Ruby. Rouge and Espio felt that one of them should've done it because they're better at stealth, but I wanted to be the hero for this one. Anyway, I have the Phantom Ruby and I used my lightning whip on it... but then my body started flickering.

"Interesting," says Black Doom. He managed to beat the others down.

"What just happened," I asked.

"Did you wonder how you got here," asks Black Doom, "when I first used the Phantom Ruby, I decided to test it. I used it to create an illusion of a living being. I chose his fur color, his personality, his voice, and even his species. I even made a weapon for him." I was getting scared. "Grappler, you're just an illusion created by the Phantom Ruby!"

I then backed away. I then ran off.
