Summary: After Delia dumps Giovanni at Pokémon Center, she wonders if she did the right thing.

Delia dumped that man at the center in Viridian; she raced home and burned her jogger suit.

And showered vigorously, no blood, no proof, it never happened.

But it did happen.

It happened, and no matter how much she bathed, prayed, and baked, I wouldn't go away.

On paper, she knew she did the right thing, she did.

But...

But, this organization, maybe that man personally, is responsible for making her son's journey a nightmare.

Numerous times, she's had to calm Ash down after a nightmare about Team Rocket taking Pikachu and killing his friends.

If she'd let him die, maybe Ash and his friends would be safe...

But could she really let another human die?

She'd kill to protect Ash, no question, but letting someone

die...

Wouldn't that be cowardice?

Dumping in front of the hospital and leaving was pretty cowardice...

She should searched for a wallet or something so that she would know who to look for in the papers.

Or in obituaries.

She held the R in hand, ripped off so he could have a chance of survival.

R for Rocket.

R for regret.

R for reflection.

Is he dead?

Is he alright?

Is he still behaving badly?

Ash came home, he'd just finished his tour of Sinnoh and he wanted to spend time with her.

It was nice holding her boy in her arms, hard to believe he was only 12.

Ash mentioned that Team Rocket hadn't been around much lately.

The news both excited and worried Delia.

Did he die and they were called back to mourn their leader?

Oh, God this burden was too much.

Maybe she go up to Viridian City and enquire-

What if Team Rocket is looking for her?

What if this put an even bigger target on Ash's back?

What could she do?

What can she do?

Why did she have to get involved?
