Chapter 18: Copy That
"When your Dino Powers activated, it jump started something inside you. Something you were born with. Magic."
Zoey looked over in confusion, "But, I didn't start using magic for a couple of months after I got my Dino Powers."
"When you use your energy blast, a shimmer of light spreads through your fingers. At first, you thought it was residue from your… sparklers?"
"I don't really have a word for it. Fireworks. Light Blasts. I don't know."
"Fireworks sounds good." Zoey nodded, looking at her teacher and friend, "Everyone thought that the shimmer was part of your fireworks. After some more testing, I can tell you that they're not."
"Then, what is it?"
"It's your magic. The Gems altered your DNA to give you those powers. Your magic was not obtained or learned, it was inherited. Genetic. The alteration to your DNA also brought out the starlight in your magic. Altering them in the process."
"What do I do about it?"
"Use it." The teacher pointed to the target at the end of the room, "When you get mad or upset, the light appears in your fingers. Focus on the feeling. Don't actually get mad, just pull out the feeling. Close your eyes and bring it to the forefront. Access that part of you that is your magic, but only a drop. Feed the light."
Taking a quiet breathe, Zoey stretched out her arm and focused on that feeling. When she got it, she grabbed hold and shot it out, hitting the target. "Wow."
"Woo hoo!" Raina ran over grabbed her in a big hug, "That was awesome!"
"What was that?"
"Light Output." Her teacher walked over, "Or, Lumen. Your two Dino Powers have created it. The energy blast and the fireworks combined with your… Witch Light."
Zoey thought for a moment and shook her head, "Really didn't need a new power."
"Two." Raina smirked, "If you count learning how to use the energy blast like Piper, the Super Witch."
"Piper?" The teacher asked, "What is that?"
"Who. There's a show called Charmed, about witches. One sister had the power to freeze time, or molecular immobilization. Later on in the series, she gained the ability to blow stuff up. Molecular combustion." Raina turned to Zoey with a frown, "You can now blow-up singular objects, or monsters. Do you think you can train yourself to do molecular acceleration or deviation?"
"I'm not sure; I just learned it. And I can only do it in small bursts. I don't know how well it would work on a monster, but it's something I'll practice on." She paused, "I need to make sure that this is what you want before I go home. 100%."
"I've thought long and hard about it. I can't stay here. Not with her. She's making my life hell. Dad can't even stop her. It's why I moved in with Rocky and Aisha." The Lightning Ninja sighed, upset, "I can't keep staying with them and bringing this drama into their house. Not with my sister-in-law six months pregnant. They've been trying so hard to have a kid, I can't do this to them."
"It's your mom doing it." They sat down with the teacher and got a drink, "I've talked to both your brother and your dad. Tommy approved it. It's your senior year. You won't be finishing school with your friends."
"I don't care about that. Andy's more my friend than anyone else at that school. I honestly think those people only want to be friends because of our brothers."
"I know that feeling." She sighed, "Alright. Let's get finished packing." She turned to her teacher, "What's next for you?"
"I would like to keep working with you until you've got more control."
Zoey smiled, "I have an idea."

"Waiter. Waiter!" Cassidy's yells startled Ethan so much, he tripped over his feet and dropped the tray of shakes that he was carrying.
"Clean up on aisle 5." Conner smirked, looking down from their table.
Kira scoffed, "Yeah, since when do you work here?"
"Since this morning." Andy came over with a bus-tub and started cleaning, "Dude, you are so uncoordinated."
Growling, Ethan climbed to his feet and dusted himself off, "Hayley's really been shorthanded since Trent quit. It got worse when Zoey went on temporary leave. I'm just trying to help her out."
"Yeah, help. Like she doesn't have me and Jenna." Andy just shook his head and laughed, "I do appreciate it though. Just, uh, quit dropping trays."
"I guess kicking our butts has kept Trent real busy these days." Conner complained, rolling his eyes.
Ethan nodded, "Yeah, no doubt,"
"Hate to say this, but I think you guys might've been right." Kira sighed, looking down at her drink, "Maybe there is no good left in Trent."
"Hold that thought." Jenna said, walk past them, "Not another word." She stalked over to Cassidy and got in the blonde's face, "Hey, snob. Focus." She leaned so close that she caused the reporter's eyes to widen in fear, "I know Zoey warned you before, and since she's not here to recap, I guess I'll have to step in. You need to quite yelling at the staff. We're not deaf. As you can see, we're a little busy here. Your feet are not broken, therefore, you can go to the counter yourself." She slapped a ticket on the girl's table, "Because of you, we're going to have to remake those shakes. So you get to pay for them. Lose the attitude."
As the girl squeaked in outrage, Jenna turned around and walked back over to her friends, "Now, where were we? Trent. Right." She leaned on the table, "Do not, I repeat, do not say stuff like that. Trent is a human who needs help. There was no good in Tommy when he was under Rita's spell. None. Jason destroyed the Sword of Darkness and broke the spell. You have to believe that there's a way to break the gem's hold on Trent. You can't give up on him. Rangers never give up. Ever. Understand?" They nodded. "Good. I'm going back behind the counter."
"Hey, Andy." The Green Ranger turned as Conner tugged on his sleeve, "Are you sure her and Zoey aren't twins or something. Cause, Zoey scares me and… " he shuddered, "She was definitely channeling our Pink Ranger."
"Not related. Just really close. They became sisters almost as soon as they met. It can be a little intimidating at times with them. We just learn to roll with it."
1-2-3-4-5
"I can't wait. We'll see you then." Jenna raced over to the teens, pulling Andy with her, "I just heard from Zoey-"
She was interrupted when their communicators sounded, "Come in Rangers, we've got a situation!" Tommy's voice echoed through their morphers. "I need you over at the City Center right away!"
"We're on our way," Conner responded, and after a quick explanation to Hayley, they followed the Red Ranger out to find a place to morph.
"Over there!" Kira led the way to a spot behind an old trolley.
"Ready?"
"Ready!"
"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP, HA!"
"DINO POWER!"
"Dude!" Andy freaked, "What is that thing?"
"I don't know." Jenna shuddered, "But it is really ugly."
"Alright creep, we're taking you down!" Conner yelled as they reached the monster, who appeared to be several giant peppers joined together with an otter face and claws.
"Oh yeah? Says who?" The monster laughed. "Here's a pepper for you!" He threw a pepper at them, but Kira sent it flying back with a swing of her sabre.
"I'm not supposed to have too many spicy foods. Thanks anyway." She told him as the others laughed and applauded her shot.
"Nice." Jenna patted her on the shoulder, "That was good. Next time, leave out the girly gestures. You looked like Kim."
"I know I haven't met her yet, but I know an insult when I hear it."
"Am I invisible here? Hey, you teenyboppers! How about some seafood!" The monster held out a handful of shells. "This is what I call 'shell-shocked'!" He started throwing them at the Rangers like throwing stars.
Ethan and Andy cut through them with their Sabres, sending the broken fragments to the ground.
"You'll pay for that!" The otter declared.
"Tricera Shield!" Ethan held up his shield.
"That's exactly what I was waiting for!" The monster laughed. The strange light on his arm lit up purple. "Now here's my secret power! Copy… Tricera Shield!" The Rangers were stunned when a replica of Ethan's shield appeared in his hand. "Fire!" He then blasted Ethan, and laughed.
"What just happened?" Jenna asked, confused.
"Nothing good." Andy backed up, pulling her with him, "Don't call your weapon!"
"Now it's on!" Kira growled.
"Don't!" Jenna warned, but it was too late.
"Tyranno Staff!"
"Ptera Grips!" The two called on their weapons.
"Copy!" Since they ignored the warning, copies of their weapons appeared in the monster's hands.
"He copied our weapons!" Conner groaned.
"We tried to stop you." Andy growled.
"That's cheating!" Kira yelled.
"He's a bad guy, Kira." Jenna braced herself as the Copy monster ran at them, "I don't think they care about cheating."
They braced themselves as he attack, knocking the them to the ground. "He's got our weapons, what else does he want?" Kira demanded furiously.
"Never ask that!" Jenna yelled, getting frustrated.
"Copy!" He laughed as he held up his arm again. "Hi, I'm the Yellow Ranger. Aren't I cute?" He mimicked in Kira's voice.
"My voice!" Kira cried out in horror.
"Ohh, that's cold," Ethan couldn't help but laugh.
"That's enough!" Conner pushed himself to his feet, causing the giant pepper monster to laugh again.
"I agree!" He declared, and they frowned. "I have more important things to copy! See ya!" He ran off before they could stop him.
"Just how are we supposed to stop this guy if he just copies our weapons when we use them?" Andy glanced to the others, worried.
"We start by finding him," Kira growled, furious at his mockery of her using her voice. The Rangers nodded, and they ran after him.
"Do we know his name yet?" Jenna asked Andy as they ran with their team.
"Was it a pepper or an otter?"
"A potter?"
He laughed, "How about Copyotter? Considering his powers, I think it fits."
"Agreed."
1-2-3-4-5
After calling on their bikes and riding towards where Copyotter's signal had finally stopped, the Rangers looked around for the powerful monster.
"His signal is coming from right around here," Conner told his friends as they stopped their bikes and climbed off.
"Then where is he?" Kira asked with a frown.
"He's here. He's playing with us." Jenna looked around.
"Looking for me?" Copyotter's voice came from behind them, making them jump and spin around. "I was picking peppers!" He laughed, and hurled more peppers at them. Jenna and Andy jumped out of the way, Ninja Streaking behind their opponent, just as the peppers hit the ground at their teammates. They exploded on impact, sending the primaries trolling to the side to dodge.
"Careful! Remember, he can copy our weapons!" Ethan reminded them as Copyotter laughed loudly.
"So how do we fight him?" Kira asked as they got to their feet.
"Without weapons!" Jenna braced herself, ready to fight.
"I got it!" Conner realized. "We close up the head of the Z-Rex Blaster, he makes a copy, then fires it, it explodes!" He told them with a laugh.
"Sneaky, I like it." Ethan grinned.
"I don't know, guys." Andy shrugged, "Is he that stupid?"
"Let's do it!" Conner cheered.
"Are you done with your meeting over there?" Copyotter asked, getting bored.
"Just a minute!" Conner told him as they summoned their Z-Rex Blaster and aimed it at him, shutting the mouth over.
"Copy!" The monster replicated it as predicted. "Z-Rex Blaster, ready to go!" He aimed it at them, before pausing. "Oh wait, I almost forgot!" He then opened the mouth, and they cried out. "Now it's ready, fire!" He blasted them. Andy streaked away to Jenna, getting out of the line of fire. Kira, Conner and Ethan weren't so lucky. They got blasted back and flew through the air, landing in the water.
"Now, how did you do that?" Trent asked, walking over to them.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" Andy mocked, glaring.
"Come on." Jenna nudged him, "We've got better things to do than to be playing his games."
They left just as an Invisiportal appeared behind Trent. A claw started to reach out toward the White Ranger, but before it could grab him, another flash of light shot out, blasting the claw away.
"What?" Trent looked around in time to see another streak rush up and grab him. When they stopped, they were in the middle of the woods, "What is this?" He turned to see Zoey standing there, glaring, "You."
"Me." She mocked, crossing her arms, "Surprised?"
"Oh, yeah." He smirked, "But see, I've been looking forward to this. You're the only one I haven't faced and I've been looking for a new challenge."
"Poor thing." Sarcasm dripped from her words, "Well, sorry to disappoint you. See, I'm not here to fight you. I'm here to save you."
He laughed, "Save me. Please." A band of pink and purple light shot out, immobilizing him. "What's going on?"
"Your saving grace." Zoey grabbed his hand with the gem on it as her teacher walked over, "You've got him?"
"He's not going anywhere. Remember, you need to use the separation spell and your Lumen at the same time. Your light is pure enough to cleanse the gem of the evil. The spell separates it long enough for you to blast it clean. Got it?"
"Understood."
"Get away from me!"
"Hold still." Zoey glared at the gem, "It's time to make you whole again." Her eyes flashed pink as she called the spell for separation. She had to focus and block out his screams of pain, "I'm sorry."
"Focus Zoey. I know he's hurting, but you have to focus on the task."
"Got it." She watched in her magical eye as the last of the darkness split away from the gem, then held her hand over it to cast her newly controlled Lumen over it."
The was darkness fighting the Lumen, hard. "Oh, no you don't. Lumina Maximus!" The light grew with her power, "Neramax Finishio Maximus!" With a blinding flash, a blast shot out, sending the three of them to the ground. "Ouch." She sat up, blinking the spots out of her eyes, "Did it work?"
"Ow! My head." She looked over to see Trent sitting up, his expression no longer twisted, "What did you do?"
"Depends. Are you back to being Trent?"
"Would you believe me if I said yes."
"I would." She stood up and reached out a hand to him, "I can sense it in you."
"How? How did you do that?"
"Long story."
Her teacher walked over and smiled, "That was enlightening."
"No pun intended."
"Right."
Zoey turned back to Trent, "Ready to kick some monster butt?"
"Try and stop me."
1-2-3-4-5
"How's the dirt taste?" Copyotter laughed as he threw Conner into a tree. The team of Rangers were on the ground, exhausted from the pounding that they had taken. Copyotter's laughter quickly stopped when he was struck from behind, and the Rangers looked up to see Trent ride up on his ATV.
"Looks like you could use a little help." The White Ranger told them, getting off his ride. Drawing his dagger, Trent launched at Copyotter, slashing him repeatedly before leaping through the air. Copyotter barely managed to copy his weapon in time to block the next attack, and threw Trent back.
"Let's see how you like it!" Copyotter ran at him and threw Trent into a tree, before Andy and Jenna attacked him from behind.
"What, you forget about us?" He asked, mocking him.
"You'll regret that!" Copyotter warned, rushing them with Trent's weapon.
"Really?" Jenna shot up and blast him with ice, "Try copying that, you freak."
"How'd you do that?" The monster cried, his arm now encased in ice.
"Can't copy something if we don't call on it, right?"
"You're going to pay for that you little punk!"
"Super Dino Mode!" Trent got back to his feet and called on the same power that the others used.
"He's got Super Dino Mode!" Conner cried out, horrified. Trent's suit looked even more intimidating, and even more powerful than their own Super Dino Mode.
"And I like it," Trent smirked. The creature barely got the ice off of him when the White Ranger attacked, tackling him and pushing him back into a tree.
"But I thought we were on the same side!" Copyotter cried out.
"Not anymore!" Trent told him.
"Is this another trick?" Conner scowled as Trent finished off the monster. As he walked towards them, Copyotter returned and grew.
"Copy this, Rangers!" He mocked as he towered over them.
"Brachio!" Doctor Oliver called on their Zords. The five Rangers leapt into them, and combined to make their Megazord.
"I'm ready for you Rangers!" Copyotter declared.
"Let's go!"
1-2-3-4-5
"I know you can take this guy!" Tommy yelled, "Stay focused." He was so intent on watching the fight, he didn't see Zeltrax coming up behind him until the last second, "Huh?" The general slashed his sword at his back, sending him to the ground, "What? You again?"
"I've been waiting for this moment for a long time." Zeltrax raised his sword high, ready to strike.
"No!" Trent rushed in and blocked his sword with his dagger, "Get back Zeltrax!"
"You?!"
Trent shoved him back and kicked him to the ground.
"What's going on?!" Tommy asked, still on the ground.
"Hey, big bro." He looked over as Zoey came up to him to help him up, "Need a hand?"
"Wait, what? When did you get here?"
"Earlier." She paused and smiled as she watched Trent take on their enemy, "A thank you would suffice." She said, pointing to the White Ranger.
"Thank you?" He looked over as realization washed over him, "You're responsible for him helping us?"
"Well, I had help." She pointed to his other side as her teacher came over, "She's been working with me in Angel Grove."
"Drina?" He laughed, "It's been a while. I thought you were in Zandar."
"I was. But Billy sent word to me about what was going on with Zoey and I thought I'd cut my trip short and help out. After all, you guys have been like family to me."
"You have no idea how much I appreciate that. Thank you."
"No problem." She looked over at the fight, "So that's the guy you used to know, the one you thought disappeared. Now he's a robot fighting for a mutant dinosaur."
"Yep."
"Is anything ever normal around you people?"
"This coming from you?"
"He's got a point Drina." Zoey snickered, "We're a pretty dysfunctional group and all, but you've got us beat by a few million years."
"A few?" Tommy chuckled, "Downplaying aren't we?"
"I will hurt you." Drina warn, sending him a glare.
Tommy finally had enough watching and joined Trent in the fight. After awhile, they finally put Zeltrax to the ground, who growled in frustration, "You will pay dearly for that traitor." He warned as he disappeared into an Invisiportal.
"Are you okay?" Trent asked, turning to his teacher.
"I'm not sure." Tommy looked over at his sister who joined Trent, patting his arm.
"You did pretty good. First full good guy fight. Not bad."
"Thanks."
"How did you do it." Tommy asked, coming over.
"It's a long story." She explained, "But, the basics come down to magic."
"That easy?"
"There was nothing easy about it."
"Yeah, that really hurt." Trent rubbed his wrist where a massive bruise had formed, "Whatever she did purified my gem."
"Trust me, big brother. He's good now." She smiled, giving Tommy a hug, "Now, just like you after the Sword of Darkness was destroyed, Trent has decided to use the Power for good and join the team."
"If that's okay with you, sir."
Tommy paused for a moment and held out his out, "Welcome back, Trent."
1-2-3-4-5
"Anyone know why Doctor Oliver wanted us to meet him here?" Ethan asked as he, Conner and Kira walked into the lab, all of them looking very confused.
"He just said something about a big surprise." Kira shrugged, knowing as much as they did.
"Where's Andy and Jenna?" Conner wondered aloud. As they walked inside, they found Trent standing in the middle of the lab.
"Hey guys." He greeted them with a small smile as they froze. They fell into fighting stances, glaring at the White Ranger. "Hold on."
"How'd you get in here?" Conner demanded with a growl.
"I let him in." Tommy told them as he turned around in his seat.
"What?!" Conner hissed at him. "But he's-"
"On our side." They looked around to see Andy sitting at one of the desks. "The evil that controlled the Gem is gone. He's good now."
"Yeah right." Ethan scoffed. "Every time we hear that, he burns us! Why should we believe him now?"
"Because he saved my life." Tommy stated, looking at his students.
"Is that true?" Conner turned to Trent, who nodded.
"Yeah." He confirmed. "I'm in control of the Dino Gem now. I wanna use it to fight with you and stop Mesogog, once and for all."
"I wouldn't have brought him here if I didn't think he was telling the truth. But only you can decide whether or not you trust him." Tommy told the Red and Blue Rangers now standing beside him.
"And before you hesitate," They looked over to see Zoey coming down the stairs, "know that I can still kick your butt." Jenna smiled behind her friend, glad that she was back.
"Zoey!" The teens ran over and hugged their missing teammate, "We're so glad you're back." Kira said, happy, "When did you get here?"
"Earlier." The Pink Ranger smirked, "Actually, I showed up about the time you guys were taking a swim break in the lake."
"Huh?" Conner goggled, "Wait, you were there?"
"Not for long. I grabbed Trent just a Mesogog was about to pull him into an Invisiportal." She walked passed them and stood next to the White Ranger, "You're welcome, by the way."
"I owe you. A lot."
"Wait. You owe her from her saving you from Mesogog?"
"That's only the tip of the iceberg." Trent shook his head, "I'm still anxious to hear the whole story on how she did it, but she used magic to purify my gem. She healed me."
"What?!" The teens looked over at Zoey, shocked.
"Why so surprised?" She threw up her hands, "I left to get control of my powers. I'm still working on it, but I'm better." Walked over and sat next to her brother, "All you need to know is that the dark encoding on the gem is now gone and Trent is 100% good and wants to fight with you."
"Well, if they're down with it, I guess I'm on board too." Ethan decided, making Zoey, Jenna and Andy exchanged sardonic looks of frustration.
"Yeah, I guess we got not choice, considering I'm kinda tired of fighting you." Conner said, nodding in agreement.
Trent smiled thankfully at them, and turned to Kira, who had stayed quiet. "Look, I know I got a lot to make up for," he told the Yellow Ranger, walking over to her, "but I promise, this time, I won't let you down."
"Well, I guess everyone deserves one last chance," Kira then hugged him tightly, taking the White Ranger by surprise. "But guys," Kira then turned to the others. "Isn't there a rule that says newbie Rangers have to wash all the Zords?"
"Hey, I forgot about that rule!" Ethan smirked widely as Conner started laughing.
"The Zords?" Trent spun around to stare at them, his mouth hanging open. "But they're gigantic!" He cried as they all shoved cleaning supplies into his arms.
"Yeah, they are, so you'd better get started," Conner told him, placing a brush on top of the basket.
"Drop it, Trent!" Zoey called, getting their attention, "Not happening, guys."
"Oh, come on Zoey!" Ethan called, pouting, "After everything he's put us through?"
"Yeah, I mean, we deserve to get a little of our own back." Kira frowned.
"And you will." She smirked, "On the tower." Her words had mixed reactions. Cheers from the three primaries and confusion on Trent. "Don't worry, Drago Boy. I'll protect you." She did little alleviate his worries.
"So, what are these surprises that you had for us?" Conner asked, curious.
"Yeah, explain." Andy came over, "I'm not a fan of being left in the dark."
"That's why we're the Lightning Bugs." They looks over at the new voice coming from the stairs, "We fear no darkness."
"Raina!" Andy ran over, grabbed his best friend and spun her around in happiness, "What are you doing here?" He asked, putting her down.
She sighed, "Living my life. It's about shaking off the frustration. My mom. College. My future. Everything."
"Huh?"
"My mom has been on my case since I came back. She banned me from the dojo and working at Ape Man's. Dad put his foot down to allow me to work at the Center and banned her from interfering in my classes anymore."
"What's her deal? What's going on."
"She's upset. And I get it. I'm not her Little Princess anymore. Her Little Dancer. It's not who I am. And she blames my friends," she gestured to Andy, Jenna and Zoey, "and she blames my brother and his friends. Bad influences. Says they ruined me. She got with the school and rearranged my entire curriculum. Dance, music and art. Then she signed me up for the Cotillion. Like I didn't have enough of that crap before. Bad enough she wanted me to learn how to be a cleaning lady so I can take over her business." She pouted, "She got to the point where she started spouting off about sending me to a Finishing College to learn how to be a lady."
Silence. "What?!" Andy exclaimed, shocked, "Okay, that's going too far. Has she completely lost it?"
"I think so." She shrugged, "It got so problematic and tense in my house that my dad moved me in with Rocky and Aisha. I felt so bad to bring all the tension in on them. Aisha is six months pregnant. She doesn't need it. So, when Zoey came to town, we had a long talk. One that expanded to my brother and Jason. Then Tommy and my dad. My dad was the one who originally told me to do this, months ago, but I was hesitant. I just didn't want to give up. But I can't take it any more."
"With her father's approval," Tommy pipped up, "Raina is going to be moving in with us. I have the downstairs den that I've only been using for storage. Rocky's going to bring her furniture that her dad helped pack up and she's going to use that for a room. She's going to work at the Cafe to help out Hayley for when you get called out and she's now officially transferred to Reefside."
Andy grinned, "So, you don't care about leaving Angel Grove in the middle of your Senior Year? Away from your friends?"
"You guys are my best friends. I should have been here to pick on you from the beginning. It's no fun making fun of you from a distance."
"Oh, gee, thanks." He laughed, "Well, I'm sorry about the problems your mom has put you through, but I'm glad you're here."
"Um, hello?" Conner raised his hand and pointed to the rest of the team, "Explain?"
"This is Raina." Zoey gestured, "She's Rocky DeSantos' sister and the White Lightning Ninja Ranger."
"Cool." Ethan nodded.
"Yeah it is." Andy paused, "What about college? You planned to go to Angel Grove University to get a degree in Food Science."
"That's over. Mom refused to pay for college unless I fell in line. So, after a lot of contemplating on my part and more discussions with Zoey, I decided to join you next year."
"You're going with me to the Pai Zhuq Temple?"
"Yes I am."
"Awesome!" He high fived her, "Don't worry about how long it might take you to figure out what your Spirit Animal is. It took me months."
Zoey chuckled, "Um, Andy?"
"Yeah?"
"She already knows what her Spirit Animal is."
He goggled as Jenna started laughing, "What?"
"Dude, you over thought everything. You had a mental block in your head. When Raina told me what she decided, we had a major bitch fest over everything that's happened to her since she returned to Angel Grove. She completely broke down."
"In tears." Raina grumbled, "It would have been embarrassing if there was anyone else there."
"After the break down, we did some yoga and meditation. Then I started her on the basics. After about a week, her Spirit Animal made itself known."
"You're looking at the proud owner of a Panther Spirit." Raina held out her arms to pose, extremely happy with her Spirit.
"Congratulations." Andy gave her a hug and looked back over at Zoey, "Have you already talked to Master Mao about her?"
"Yep. Laptop in her room like you to do online classes for General Studies. After a year, you guys can decide if you'd like to continue your classes or take a break."
"Sweet."
"You think Hayley will give me my job back?" Trent asked, looking at Tommy.
"Of course. Trust me. She'll understand." Tommy said before turning to his sister, "Where's Drina?"
"Drina?!" Jenna and Andy asked, excited.
"Oh, man. Is she here?" Andy cheered, "Having met her in the past and now knowing her history with you guys, really made me wish she had been there over the summer."
"Who's Drina?" Kira asked, standing close to Trent.
"An old friend." Zoey smiled, "And a long story. I talked with Hayley and she agreed. Since Drina wants to stay and keep helping me, she needs a place to stay. We have no more room here, so Hayley is going to let her stay in her extra room. When she's not doing her torture on me, she'll be helping out at the Cafe."
"That's awesome." Tommy nodded in approval.
"What about the other stuff?" Ethan gestured, getting their attention, "The non-Ranger/Ranger business."
Zoey laughed, "How about this. Let us get settled in. You guys need to get used to having Trent on your team, being around Drina and Raina, and dealing with me being back." She smirked, "Once we're a little more level, I'll explain the non-Ranger/Ranger business and tell you all about Drina. Who she is and where she came from. Deal?"
"Deal."
So, Zoey's back and she's brought Raina and a new friend with her. I will be explaining who Drina is in my next chapter of Angel Grove's Angels. Also, the non-Ranger/Ranger business is going to be explained in the next Dino Thunder chapter. This idea came to me awhile back ago and it's going to extend further out in my stories. Not just Zoey's but beyond her as well.
A/N: Also, the image I have of Zoey's Light Blasts are cross of Dr. Light's (Linda Park) from the CW show, Flash and Four from the I Am Number Four movie.
Hope you liked it. Don't forget to leave a comment. :)
