20. A Star is Torn

Chapter 20: A Star is Torn

"Trent! Raina!" The two teens barely had time to stop as Kira almost ran right into them, "You're not going to believe this! You're going to freak!"

"I'm already freaking! We're out of soy milk and Hayley and Andy's off today. Jenna and Zoey have sent us out to the store. They're busy training Drina." He smirked, "She's good, but she's more blunt and direct than Zoey."

"Life of an Alien Sorceress Supreme." Raina laughed, "She jumped all over Cassidy for kicking another student off a computer. It was awesome."

"Oh, wow." Kira stared, "Okay, well, I have something to tell you."

"Sorry," Trent said, brushing past her, "it's going to have to wait."

"Okay, have you seen Ethan?"

"Not yet." Raina said, backing up with him.

"Conner?"

"Not today." They called, rushing off.

"Great," she sighed. "Who am I going to tell?"

"Alright, you ready, Conner?" Hayley questioned, sitting in her computer chair next to Andy as they watched the soccer star fidget.

He nodded, rubbing his hands together, "Yep. Ready"

"Try the controls." She told him, turning back to the computer.

Conner reached toward a console stand set up in the middle of the room with some new device on it and placed his hands on the control in the front.

"Initiating simulation."

Red electricity sparked at the base and rose rapidly, reaching Conner's hand, and then travelling up his body, "Uh… Hayley…" he choked, his voice raspy, as volts of energy rippled through his body, "Can we stop please?"

Hayley frowned and glanced over her shoulder before gasping.

Conner's hair was standing on end and red electricity was rippling through his hair, "Dude!" Andy busted out laughing, "Definitely going on this year's video."

"Oh!" The genius called, "Shutting down!" She looked to her right and hit Andy in the arm, "Quit laughing. He could be hurt."

"Nah. Something like that would only sting for someone connected to the Grid." He looked over as Conner started taking calming breaths, "He'll be alright in a minute."

"Hey, Conner? Are you there?" The monitor switched to Kira sitting on a bench in front of the cafe. "It's Kira."

"Hey, Kira," Hayley spoke up, "Unfortunately, he's a little… uh… fried right now. Are you alright?"

"Yeah, fine. I just wanted to tell him that -"

"Can we call you back? We're working on the control program for the new assault vehicle."

"Oh, yeah, sure. Um… what about Ethan and Andy? Are they around?"

Ethan called from his laptop, "Tell her unless she's being attacked by something green and scaly, send me an email."

Andy called out, finally checking on Conner, "Sorry Kira. I'm helping out Hayley. I'm hoping we haven't electrocuted Conner too bad before this is over." He laughed at the Red Ranger's cry of outrage, "Sorry dude. You looked like a Science Lab Plasma Ball." He patted him on the shoulder, "Don't worry, man. You'll be fine."

Hayley rolled her eyes, "Did you hear all that?"

"Yeah, I heard..."

"And Ethan's right. Unless it's an emergency, we should keep the communication frequency clear." Hayley told the Yellow ranger.

Kira sighed, "Okay. I'm just… I'm sorry. I'll talk to you guys later."

She disappeared as the call ended and Andy looked in Ethan's direction, "Dude, what are you doing over there that is so important anyway?"

"Searching the web for my soul mate." Ethan grinned.

Conner snickered, "Dude, if you needed help with girls, you just needed to ask."

"I'm looking for something a little deeper than what you're used to bro," Ethan retorted, looking over his shoulder, "By the way… nice look"

Andy smothered a snicker as he ducked his head, heading back to his seat.

Conner's face fell as he turned quickly to Hayley, "What? What's he talking about?"

"You look fine." She reassured, brushing him off as she hit Andy in the shoulder again.

"Forget the plasma ball. He looks like Marv from Home Alone 2." Andy mumbled, looking at her sideways, "You know, post electrocution."

Hayley threw him a look causing the Green Ranger to cover his mouth to hid another snicker, "Now, lets try that again." She added, turning back to to the computer.

"How's Nick lately?" Zoey looked up in shock at Jenna, "What?"

"Since when did you start calling him by his name?"

The Wolf Master stopped pouring the shake she had made and turned with wide eyes, "I did not?" Her friend nodded, "I'm losing it. My brain has turned to mush."

"That's an impossibility." Drina said, putting tray on the counter, "You would die."

"It's a figure of speech, D." Zoey said, chuckling at their alien friend.

"Oh." She shrugged, "I knew that." They smirked at her, "Shut up." She looked across the room and frowned, "Isn't that your teammate? Kira?"

They follow her gaze to see the Rocker by a computer, talking to Cassidy. Cassidy interrupted and shoved past her to take the chair at the computer. "Again. That girl is so rude. I may not always understand human colloquialisms, but I have manners. Apparently, she does not." Zoey reached out and grabbed the alien's arm as she started to storm over to the blonde, "What's wrong?"

"Just trying to keep you from killing anyone."

"Kira!" Jenna called, gesturing the Ptera Ranger over, "Okay. What's going on?"

She sighed, "Do you even have time?"

"We're making the time."

"You'll be the first." She just shrugged, "Okay, well, I got a call from this big music manager and he wants to sign me. He talked about recording one of my songs and making a music video out of it." She stared at them, "Well? What do you think?"

"I'll go." Zoey nodded, "First of all, congratulations. Your music is awesome and you're an amazing singer. You deserve to be heard. The fact that a music manager feels that way is fantastic."

"But?"

"But," The Pink Ranger continued, "I think you should use some caution. Hear what he has to say and see what his ideas and plans are. A lot of music industry executives like to take a great talent and change them into something they're not. Something to fit the norm in popularity. Don't let him do that to you."

"Also," Jenna inputted, "remember what happened with Conner and the Wave. If this is something you want to do, make sure it's not going to take you away from your school and Ranger duties."

Kira nodded in thought, "Okay. Thanks, guys. I have an appointment with him this afternoon. I'll check it out. Afterwards, I'll wait to give him an answer after I've talked with you guys again. I trust your instincts."

"Just be true to you, Kira." Drina nodded, "Your friends wouldn't let you down."

"Thank you."

Zoey nodded as the other girl left, "I'm getting flashbacks to when the boys helped Tanya make that video for her, and she started performing at the Youth Center."

"And the major decision she had to make with that record executive." Jenna loaded Drina's tray, "Let's hope it doesn't come to that."

"Come on, Conner, take 'em down!" Andy shouted, watching the simulation on the screen with Hayley.

"I'm trying!" The Red Ranger exclaimed, before there was an explosion on the screens and the Megazord exploded as the words SIMULATION OVER flashed across the image. He winced as the failed sounds echoed through the lab.

"Oops." Hayley groaned as she sat back in her chair, throwing her hands up in frustration as she turned around to face Conner.

"Great!" Conner groaned, removing his simulation helmet, "Game over. Again!"

"Welcome to my World," Ethan murmured, from across the room, not taking his eyes off his laptop and what he was doing.

Andy turned to the Red Ranger, "At least it's just a simulation."

"The Hydraulics are doing the opposite of everything I tell them!" He complained.

Ethan called out, "Hey, would you guys say that I am A - a chiseled workout fiend, B - a beefy, boy toy, C - a walking toothpick or D - just your average, everyday dude?"

"I thought you were looking for something a little deeper, Ethan?" Hayley questioned, looking back at the teen.

"Yeah, but to get there I've got to answer these 500 questions," He complained, massaging his wrist, "and I'm getting a hand cramp."

"Here's your chance to take a break." Hayley looked around at the gathered team members, "I need you three to pick up a titanium servo mechanism. I e-mailed the address to your PDA, Andy. It'll be waiting for you."

"Do you think that's going to fix the problem?"

"I'm hoping." The red head nodded, "Let's just get it home without Mesogog finding out what we're doing."

Andy grabbed his phone with trepidation, "Why am I getting Shimazu vibes, all of a sudden." He shuddered, "Creeping me out, dude."

"Mercer Industries?" Andy chuckled at the irony, "Can't get away from the guy, can we." He shook his head as he followed the other two inside.

They were met by a handler, and after they explained who they were and that Hayley had sent them, he found them the box they had been sent to collect. "Thanks, man." Andy said as he signed for the box and handed the man his clipboard back.

They jumped off the platform and Ethan and Conner picked up the box. "Lets go," Ethan announced and the three of them started for the exit of the warehouse garage. They hadn't taken more than a few steps, when Tyrannodrones appeared through an Invisiportal. The three Rangers paused and exchanged looks, "How'd they know?" The Blue Ranger asked in frustration.

"How do they ever know?" Andy asked, rolling his eyes, "They're the bad guys. They always know. It's really annoying."

They put down the box and the three Rangers fell into defensive positions. The Tyrannodrones roared and rushed forward, as the Rangers fought around the box trying to protect it from falling into the wrong hands. Conner was the first one to stray from the box, and using one of the Tyrannodrones as a springboard, he jumped up onto some crates by running up the side of the wall. He rolled sideways, pushed himself up to meet three more of freaky minions.

Ethan used the box as leverage and flipped over it, sweeping the legs of a Drone out and bring him down. He looked over as another reached for the box, "Oh, no you don't!" He pulled the box away and, flipping over it again, kicked the offended Tyrannodrone in the chest, sending it into some boxes.

Seeing Ethan get pulled from the box again, Andy rushed over and sent out a burst of lightning. He ducked a swing from one Drone, then kicked up to hit another in the stomach. Standing the box, he started punching his now sparking fists at as many of the Drones as he could, sending them flying back in a shower of sparks.

After the other two had to resort to using their own powers, it wasn't long before an Invisiportal appeared and took the henchmen away.

"Well, that was fun." Conner muttered walking over.

"It wasn't the worst." Andy shrugged.

"There's something wrong with you."

He just shrugged as Ethan pointed to the box, "We better get this thing back."

Andy and Conner nodded in agreement as they grabbed the box and headed back outside, loading the device into Conner's mustang before returning to the Dino Lab.

"Here's your receipt, Hayley." Andy handed the paper to the red head, "Stairs are too narrow for the three of us to carry that thing down, so I'm going to direct."

As she nodded, the Spino Ranger walked halfway up the stairs to make sure no one fell backward. Just as they reached the first landing, the sound of ringing echoed through the stairwell, "Do you hear that?" Andy looked around, confused.

"What is that?" Conner asked.

Ethan frowned, "That's my phone."

"Dude," Connor breathed, "You've gotta change that ring."

"What's the matter with it?" Ethan asked as they put the box down.

"Serious?" Andy asked, "Dude, it's annoying."

Ethan threw him a look of irritation, before answering the call, "Hello?" He asked, giving it a moment, before pulling it back and staring at the screen, "Hello?" He shrugged, "Must have hung up."

"It took you long enough to answer." Andy muttered, bracing himself again as the other two picked the box back up. Just as they turned around, to Andy's utter confusion, another ringtone trilled out, making Conner put his end down and search his pockets.

"Seriously?" Andy stepped forward as Ethan struggled to support the box and helped the pull it down the rest of the steps. By the time Conner found his phone, it had stopped ringing, "Only a little better than Ethan's."

"I'll call them back." The Red Ranger said, rushing forward to grab his end of the box and help them get it all the way into the lab. "Why hasn't yours rang yet?"

"Probably because it's on silent. Raina's mom has taken to calling me when Raina won't answer her own phone. She's refusing to talk to her."

"That's messed up."

"Welcome to the mess that is the DeSantos Family."

As Hayley and Tommy worked at the computers, Ethan sat on the steps with his laptop, Andy was doing a kata and Conner was crouched in front of the device, "Let me get this straight." He started, confused, "So, we just have to transfer the computer information from our testing to this, install it, and then we're ready?"

Hayley nodded, "Only problem is, it's not accepting the data dump." She sighed in frustration, "I just don't understand it."

"Keep trying, Hayley." Tommy said, walking toward her.

"Would I be putting my life in my hands if I suggested getting help from Billy or Cam?" Andy asked, earning a glare from Hayley, "Thought so. Moving on."

"Hey, what do you guys think of this one?" Ethan spoke up from his laptop, "She's single, she's both attractive inside and out, believes she was Cleopatra in another life and likes to paint portrait's of snakes..." He trailed off, unsure.

The Green and Red Rangers exchanged amused smirks as Tommy just nodded his head and shrugged, "That makes sense, historically."

Conner nodded, "Sounds like a perfect match to me."

"I don't know, man." Andy protested, "Ethan's afraid of snakes. Remember the one that slithered its way into the lab from the outside caves?"

"Dude, he sounded like such a girl."

"Jenna picked it up and called Blue Boy a baby."

"Haters." Ethan rolled his eyes at the two of them and went back to his search.

"Hey, Trent."

The White Ranger looked up from the table he was cleaning to see Zoey coming in from the office, "All done back there?"

"Everything's put away. Bar is restocked. Jenna, Raina and Drina just finished shelving the products." She pointed behind her as the two girls sat on the couch, talking, "And I've got the first half of the closing taking care of on the computer. Just waiting on you."

"Good." Trent nodded, "I just got one straggler." He pointed into the computer, where Cassidy was sitting, "I have no idea how long she's been there."

"Ever since she kicked Kira off it, earlier."

"Seriously? What is she doing on that thing?"

"I'm afraid to ask." She rolled her eyes as she walked over to the blonde, "Cass." She called, getting ignored, "Cassidy." She reached out and tapped her on the shoulder, trying to get her attention.

"What?" The girl demanded, getting to her feet and spinning around, glaring, "Can't you see I'm busy?"

Zoey glared, "Can't you see we're trying to lock up?"

"Oh, right, well I guess I didn't notice."

"Obviously." The Pink Ranger rolling her eyes, "You seriously need to work on your attitude. It still sucks."

"Whatever."

Zoey frowned at the tone and tried to look around at what the blonde was doing, but Cassidy kept blocking the screen, "What are you working on?"

Cassidy scoffed, "Just because I'm using Hayley's computers, doesn't mean I have to tell any of you what I'm doing! It's private."

"Whatever," Zoey responded, "As long as its nothing illegal."

Cassidy rolled her eyes, "Seriously."

"Just don't be long. We're trying to go home."

And she turned walking away from the younger girl, she missed the gesture the other girl made behind her back.

"Wow."

Zoey stopped at the couch and frowned as her bestie, "What?"

"You completely missed the sarcastic L she threw up as you turned away."

"Typical Cassidy. Whatever." She mocked, getting a chuckle from her friend.

"What does the L mean?" Drina asked, curious.

"Uh, it's a teen slang, hand gesture for Loser."

"That's rude."

"That's Cassidy."

"Oh, hey Kira." Zoey greeting, seeing the Yellow Ranger walk into the house, "What's going on?"

"I need to get everyone's opinion on something."

"Everyone? Well, Jenna, Raina and Drina just went downstairs, and Trent volunteered to stay behind to lock up the Cafe. Just waiting on freaking Cassidy. So, close enough."

She sighed, "That's fine. What are you doing?"

"I was feeding Kit." She reached down and picked up the little fox who was rubbing against her leg, "She likes to disappear on a regular basis. I have no idea where she goes, but she always comes back." She looked her baby in the eye, "And we had to hide the lizard she tried to bring in the house." She kissed her nose, "I don't mind you eating them, but keep them outside." She turned to the amused singer and started down the trap door, "Tommy's not a fan of dead animals in the house."

"With good reason." Her brother's voice called, looking over from the computers, "What did Kit bring into the house now?"

"Doesn't matter. I took care of it. You know, we should build her an outside playhouse. Maybe she'll start using that for her catches."

"Not a bad idea." He looked at the fox, "I don't care how adorable you are, no more dead animals in my house."

"Yeah," Raina scratched her head, "does she understand what you're saying?"

Drina walked over and took the canine and crooned, "Animals understand more than we think. It's all in the voice and wording. In this case, Kit is connected to Zoey on a spiritual level, so she can probably hear her clearly."

"She just doesn't listen."

"Or chooses not to."

"So, Kira." Ethan stood up from his laptop, "Where have you been?"

"Yeah, you should check in every once in a while." Conner agreed.

"She did." Andy countered, "Remember? Ethan couldn't be bothered to get away from finding his soulmate and we were having issues with the simulator." He turned to the singer shrugged, "That was you trying to call us earlier, wasn't it?"

"Yeah."

"Sorry."

"It's okay. Look, I need your opinion on something, and I need you all to be honest." She held a CD out, "Hayley, can you play this?"

"Sure."

"You finished it already?" Zoey asked, "Is this just a test?"

"Yeah, to see if I like it. Don't want to make any major decisions yet."

"Smart."

Hayley placed the disc in the computer and a moment later, a video started playing. They watched Kira, decked out in a black-haired faux-hawk mullet and black leather start swirling around on the screen. Her song was transformed into an EDM techno beat and the video was a swirl of psychedelic images that was just… odd.

The groups reactions were a mix of shock and horror. Once the song played out, everyone started exchanges glances, to see who was going to speak. It took several moments of silence before Kira spoke up, "Alright, tell me the truth."

"Well… um… " Ethan began, struggling to find the right words.

"Its..." Hayley trailed off.

Kira frowned, "What?" She asked, looking around at the group, "Is someone going to tell me what they really think?"

"I will." Conner nodded.

"Conner!" The others exclaimed, shooting him looks.

Kira interrupted them, "No, let him talk!"

"I just think its…" he struggled "…it's not you."

Kira sighed shaking her head sadly, "I knew it. What was I thinking?"

"That you wanted to give it a try." Zoey soothed, "Now you know what not to do."

Then the alarms went started going off, keeping anyone else from commenting.

"Never thought I'd be glad to hear that sound!" Ethan gasped, as the group nodded in agreement. They watched the screen as an aerial assault craft appeared, releasing a large centipede machine flew out, and landed on the ground.

"Either something escaped from the air show," Conner spoke "or we're in trouble."

"Zeltrax." Tommy shook his head, "You guys handle it!" He nodded to the teens "I'm gonna try and help Hayley get our new weapon powered up."

"All of us?" Zoey asked.

"Um… for right now, we'll leave you and Jenna behind. I know you've got your powers under better control, but let's err on the side of caution. We'll try to save you for bigger fights… or in case we get into trouble."

Andy patted her shoulder, "Plus, Jenna has the ability to keep you grounded, so it's good to hold her back as well. For now, anyways.

The four teens nodded before falling into formation, "Ready?"

"Ready!"

"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP!"

They morphed and took off, leaving the rest in the lab.

"Why do I feel so useless, all of a sudden?" Zoey frowned, sitting next to her brother.

"It's not useless." Drina handed her Kit, "Tommy is just being cautious. It's understandable. Let's just take it a step at a time. Okay?"

"Alright." She looked at her brother, "Should we contact Trent?"

"Where is he?"

"Still at the Café, letting Cassidy finish up at the computer."

"Jeez." He shook his head, "Better leave it. Don't want to leave her alone and there's no easy way to explain anything away."

"I don't know why we just couldn't kick her butt out."

"Honestly, she spends more money there than most of that school put together. Her family's loaded, so we need to play nice."

"Not to mention the possibility of a bad review from her."

"Don't need that."

After morphing, the four Rangers took to their Zords and created the Thundersaurus Megazord. They barely finished forming when the charging centipede hit them. They flew back and landed on their feet, turning just in time. "Look out!"

Conner's warning came just as the mechanical bug reared up and fired lasers at them, sending them falling to the ground. When they stood back up, they noticed that the Centipede dug down into the ground.

"Where's it going?" Kira asked.

Andy shrugged, "Good question."

"Guys..." Tommy's voice came over the morphers, "...this thing is still in the area. We have to intercept it before it reaches the city."

The others nodded and the four ejected themselves from the Megazord, meeting up with Tommy on the ground.

"How did you keep Zoey and Jenna from following you?" Andy smirked.

"I asked."

"Why doesn't that ever work with me?"

"Is that a rhetorical question?"

"What should we do, Dr. O?" Conner questioned, clapping his Green Ranger on the shoulder as the group turned to look at Assault Vehicle in the air.

"You have to fight on the best you can." Tommy stated, bringing up his morpher, "Brachiozord!" The Black Zord lumbered into view towards them through the trees its roar echoing in the clearing. As it reached the gravel stoned quarry the, the Centipede, shot up from the ground and attacked, spikes popping out of the legs and slashing at the Brachiozord. The Zord opened its mouth and shot lightning at the but. When it hit, the mechanical monster went flying, splitting into several different fighter jets.

Andy's eyes widened, "Dude, check it out!"

"Oh man." Tommy groaned.

The jets turned on the Rangers and sent them flying back in return. Tommy was the first one to get back up off the ground, and as he watched the Assault Vehicle begin to fly away from them. He run forward and leapt into the air, "Oh, no you don't!" He jumped high enough that he was able to disappear into the ship, leaving the others to deal with the Centipede fighter jets.

As the battle continued, they watched in horror as the Brachiozord was knocked over.

"We've gotta do something!" Conner exclaimed, frustrated.

"Like what?" Ethan asked, just as upset.

"Whatever it is," Andy pipped up, grabbing his shoulder in pain, "we better think of it quick. Brachio isn't going to last much longer."

Kira turned to the Red Ranger, "It might be time to go Triassic, Conner."

"You might be right." He agreed as the fighter jets joined back together to reform the Centipede. He summoned the shield as Kira, Ethan and Andy gave up their energy for him to power up the shield, transforming into the Triassic Ranger. Afterwards, the other three powered down from the lack of Ranger energy.

Conner stepped forward, "I'm coming up there!" He yelled, jumping into the air, but was thrown backwards by the Centipede seconds later. The others gasped as landed on his down on his feet. "Okay, new plan." Pulling out his blaster, he fired at the creature, which only seemed to make it angrier. Shooting its own lasers down, Conner had to raise his shield to protect himself. As the lasers bounced off, causing the shield to glow bright, Conner stared in shock when a roar broke through through the battle.

They looked up to see a new Zord up on a mountain top, "Whoa! Hayley did it!" Conner grinned, "Triassic Mega Rover is online!"

"And just in time, by the look of things." Hayley spoke over the morphers, "Do it just like we practiced Conner."

The Red Ranger nodded, "You got it!" He jumped up and floated into the cock-pit, "This is sweet!" He placed the shield onto the control console, "Shield of Triumph! Full Power!" Power shot out of the shield, ignited the control to power it up. The entire cockpit lit up with bright lights and started to roll forward. The Centipede charged, splitting up again and shooting away. Roaring, the Rover remained unharmed, with the lasers bouncing off in small sparks.

"I think I'm getting the hang of this." Conner grinned as the Centipede reformed.

Watching from the ground, the other three watched as Conner destroyed the monster. "Alright, Conner!" Andy called, "Way to bring it home!"

Ejecting from the Rover, the Red Ranger re-joined his friends, "Where's Dr. Oliver?"

"You want to tell him?" Kira asked, turning to Andy and Ethan.

Conner frowned, before it clicked in his head. He turned to the Assault Vehicle in the air, shocked, "He's still up there?"

"Considering Zoey has probably been cursing up a storm since he went up there and has yet to come down," Andy stretched his shoulders, "I get to prepare myself for a grueling sparring session." He sighed, "Damn, that's gonna hurt."

"Maybe she'll go easy on you?" Ethan raised his hands in defense at the snorts and snickers of derision from his teammates, "Or not."

"You do know that she can hear you, right?"

Andy smiled as he heard Raina come over the Com, "But you'll protect me, right?"

"Now, why would I do that?"

"Because I'm your best friend."

"And that's enough for me to interfere in a 'Zoey's Pissed Off' sparing match?"

He chuckled, "I don't know what I was thinking."

Suddenly there was an explosion and each of the Rangers let out panicked yells "NO!" Flames exploded from either side of the vehicle.

"No!" Kira's voice reached louder than the others, "He cant be gone!"

"Don't panic." Andy reasoned, hearing his friends through their morphers, freaking out, "It's Tommy. He's okay."

"It's alright, Rangers." They turned at the voice and saw him walking forward, clutching his shoulder, "I made it out!"

"But what about Zeltrax?" Ethan asked.

"Zeltrax is gone." He answered.

"I'm sorry." Andy patted his good shoulder, "I know that that was the last thing that you wanted."

"Yeah, it was."

"Well… could I ask a favor?"

"From me?"

The next afternoon, all the teens walked along a dirt road to an area they had set-up to shoot a music video for Kira. "Well, everything is all set." Trent said, coming in from behind them, "Camera's are all ready. Andy and Raina, we have yours by the stage. The playback's good. All you've gotta do is sing."

"Thanks, guys." Kira smiled "From now on, no more letting people tell me who I should be." She looked at Zoey and Jenna, "Thanks for the advice."

"You're welcome." They chorused, laughing.

"Especially since who you already are," Conner added, "is already pretty cool." He looked over to see their Ethan's head darting around, "Hey, you forget something?"

He rubbed his hands together, "I'm supposed to meet my Cyber Hottie today."

"What, here?" Raina asked, shocked.

"Yeah, I figured you can't get any better in the first date department than a music video shoot." His explanation earned him a few chuckles.

Jenna nodded, "This is your first meeting?"

"How are you going to know who she is?" Zoey inquired, looking around, "I mean, did you exchange pictures or something?"

Spotting a person in the exact clothing, Andy pointed, "Like that?"

"That's her!" Ethan grinned, jogging across the gravel towards the girl, as his friends stopped to watch from behind, "Excuse me, are you Dreamgirl23?"

The girl's head snapped up "Why, yes, I am!" She confirmed, getting out of her seat and turning around to reveal Ethan's 'Cyber Hottie' to be… Cassidy Cornell.

"I don't believe it." Trent scoffed, as the others had a hard time trying to disguise their disbelief and laughter.

Zoey coughed for a moment, "Well, at least we know what she was doing on the computer all day yesterday."
