Chapter 23: Fighting Spirit

"Sup Hayley?" Ethan called as they walked into the lab. "Where's Doctor O?" He asked, looking around.

"Yeah. Not that we'd be able to see him if he was here." Kira grinned.

"That way." Zoey, who was sitting with Hayley and Jenna at the computers, pointed over by the gym equipment.

"Hey guys!" The teens looked around to see weights moving seemingly by itself.

"I'll never get used to that," Kira stared at it.

Andy chuckled from the couch where he sat with Raina doing homework, "We've been getting used to it all morning. He's stealthy enough without the invisibility. Now, it's freaky as hell." He shook his head, "It needs to end."

"Between years of martial arts training, Power Ranger duties and his time as a Ninjetti," Jenna chuckled, "it's a wonder he still didn't know that Justin and Zoey dated, even if it was just for a month."

"Must you bring that up?" Zoey rolled her eyes, "The animosity between Turbo Boy and Nick is bad enough; don't need to keep adding fuel to the fire."

"Agreed!" Tommy called, still pumping those weights.

"Hey, Doctor O… no offence, but what's the point of building your biceps if nobody's gonna see them?" Conner asked with a raised eyebrow. There was a loud clang as Tommy dropped the weights.

"That's the reason I called you here," he told them. "Hayley found a way to bring me back to normal." A towel floated into the air, and moved towards them.

"That's great!" Kira smiled brightly.

"Only slightly." Zoey said as Hayley stood up.

"What are we waiting for?" Ethan asked, missing her comment, "Let's do it."

"Hold on everybody," Hayley sighed heavily, "Tommy, I told you, I think the re-moleculizer may make you visible again, but I haven't found a power source strong enough for it yet."

"I've been thinking about that." A box then floated over to Hayley. "Maybe we should use this."

Frowning, Hayley took the box and opened it to reveal the Black Dino Gem. "No way! Forget it!" She told him sharply, garnering Zoey's attention.

"We gotta try something." Tommy told her, sounding a little desperate. "My Dino Gem is the most powerful source of energy we have."

"Your gem?" Zoey stomped over, "Are you out of your Ranger mind? That thing is connected to your life source. Does the Green Candle ring a bell for you? I don't care how powerful it is, it's not safe."

"Powerful being the operative word!" Hayley argued, agreeing. "I have no idea how your body will react to it. It's way too risky!"

"Hayley… Zoey… we don't have a choice," Doctor Oliver reminded them softly. "Every scan has come up negative and Billy has come up blank." He sighed, "I even talked to Drina. No magic can fix this." They felt him touch their shoulders, "I can't stay like this." Hayley sighed, knowing she wasn't going to be able to stop the him.

Zoey crossed her arms in frustration. She knew he was right. But that didn't mean she had to like it. And she didn't. "This sucks."

1-2-3-4-5

"Ok Hayley, I'm ready." A little while later, Tommy was lying on a table as the Rangers prepared to start the machine.

Hayley threw a sheet over him. "For the record, I still think this is a bad idea."

"And for the record, I agree with Hayley." Kira spoke up, shaking her head.

"Total agreement." Zoey called from the computers, "I wish you would wait until Drina got back from Angel Grove. If things go wrong, I'd rather she be here."

"Don't worry, I'll be fine." Doctor Oliver insisted, "I trust you, Hayley. And, Zoey, I have faith that you can handle anything magical if needed."

"That's a lot of faith." She muttered, as Jenna patted her shoulder.

"See you soon Doctor O…" Ethan gulped as he and Kira place the hook ups from the machine onto his invisible helmet. "Literally, I hope."

"Ok…" Hayley placed the container that held the Dino Gem into the machine.

"Good to go." Tommy told her as she glanced over to where he lay.

She breathed out, and activated the machine as the teens stood back. "Initiating sequence." Tommy let out a groan as his breathing quickened.

"Is he okay?" Kira asked as Zoey and Jenna rushed over.

The machine let out a bang, and began to smoke. "It's overloading!" Andy realized in horror, before it made another bang.

"Hayley, what's going on?" Zoey asked, as the red-head just stared.

"The energy attenuator has shut down! He's receiving full current!" The machine exploded, and Hayley quickly turned it off. There was another explosion, and when Hayley looked at the Dino Gem, she found it had split into three pieces. "His Dino Gem's destroyed." She told them, before he reappeared. They ran over to check on him, but he was unconscious. "Tommy? Tommy, can you hear me?" Hayley tried to wake him, but nothing happened.

Zoey looked like she was about to start hyperventilating, "I'm calling Drina. Hayley, start the phone tree. I'm not hiding this from the others."

1-2-3-4-5

Having had no other option, they took Tommy to the hospital.

"What's wrong with him, doctor?" Hayley asked as the doctor approached them, reading what was on his clipboard, before sighing.

"I have no idea, Hayley." He admitted. "His vitals are stable, but his brain patterns are wildly erratic." He explained to the group as they stared down at the patient.

"Can you get him out of it?" Kira asked hopefully.

"We're trying, but he's not responding to anything." The doctor shrugged.

"He'll be ok, won't he?" Raina asked, hugging Zoey on one side, with Jenna and Andy on the other.

"I'm not going to lie to you. The longer he stays like this… the more at risk he is." He told them gently.

"Thank you, Doctor Walsh." Zoey spoke up, "Can you get this data to Dana and Billy, please? She's going to need it for her records and Billy needs to add them to his scans and personal profile data."

"No problem." He looked around, "They are scanning now… right?"

She smiled, "Yes."

He nodded, "Figured. My personal system is already connected to Dana's at Lightspeed. It was done once the morphers were activated. Don't worry. Your brother is going to get the best care possible." The doctor promised before leaving.

"Um, hello?" Kira gestured as Conner and Ethan stared in shock at the others, "He knows who we are?"

"Yeah." Jenna nodded, "You didn't think we'd just bring him here and hope for the best, did you? A Ranger's physiology is unusual and would have drawn too much attention from a regular physician. Dr. Walsh transferred here when Tommy moved to Reefside two years ago, as a precaution. He's a Lightspeed Rescue trained physician and has worked on the Lightspeed Rangers. He's been vetted. He's good. He actually likes it in Reefside and may decide to stay permanently."

They nodded just as the TV popped up a news report, "Breaking news!" A new monster was terrorizing downtown Reefside, "The city is under attack by a terrifying creature! Citizens are advised to stay indoors until further notice!"

"We'll stay with him," Hayley said, pointing to herself, Zoey, Jenna and Raina, "while you four head out there."

"I'll contact Trent." Jenna nodded as she stepped out.

"We'll be back as soon as we can!" Conner told the red-head, and led the way from the hospital to their next fight.

"Zoey?" They looked over to see Drina rush in, "I'm sorry. I got here as soon as I could. Any news?"

"Physically, he's fine. But, the doctor said his brainwave patterns have become quite erratic. They don't know what to do."

"Let me check." Jenna came back in as Drina held her now glowing hands over Tommy, "The doctor is correct. There is nothing physically wrong with him. But it feels like there's something blocking him from waking up. He's… lost."

"Like… Dreamscape lost?" Zoey asked, curious.

"Yes."

"Could you send me in there? Maybe he needs the connection."

The woman smiled, "Get comfortable."

1-2-3-4-5

The Terrorsaurus that was attacking the city laughed as he chased away more screaming people, before he was blasted by the lasers on Conner's bike.

"At last!" He laughed, unaffected by the attack. "Just who I wanted to see!" The monster called as Conner shot towards him on his bike. He blasted the Red Ranger with energy from his horn, and the Red Ranger cried out as his bike flew through the air. "Tyranno Staff!" he called on his weapon and leapt from his bike. He began to fight off the Terrorsaurus, but was knocked to the ground by more red energy.

"Fire lasers!" Kira, Ethan and Andy flew towards him on their bikes, but it didn't do any damage to the monster. He blasted Conner off his feet again.

1-2-3-4-5

"Hello? Hello?" Tommy called out, stand in the middle of a sandy dunes, "Hello?!" He looked around at the deserted place that he suddenly found himself in. He had no clue how he got here or where here was. There was nothing but red sand, scattered deadwood and a clear sky above him. "Where am I?"

"Tommy?" He looked over to see Zoey running over to him.

He grabbed her in a hug and squeezed, "How are here?" He pulled her back, "Do you know where here is?"

"No." She shook her head, "The gem did what we thought and made you visible again. But it put you in a coma. We've got you at the hospital. Dr. Walsh is taking care of you."

"Okay." He nodded, "So, that leaves us where?"

"In the depths of your mind." She explained, "Doc said that there was nothing physically wrong with you, but your brainwaves were erratic. Drina came in after him and did her own scan and he was right. She concluded that when the gem broke, you ended up lost. She just couldn't tell where. So…"

"So you talked her into sending you in to see if you could pull me out."

"Yes."

"Hello Tommy," A voice said, from behind them. They turned around to see a large arch on a hill and standing there was the Red Zeo Ranger. "Remember me?"

Zoey exchange a confused look with her brother, "What?"

"Zeo Ranger Five!" The Zeo Ranger continued speaking as he started walking down the sand dune, "Don't tell me you've forgotten already."

"That's your voice." Zoey grabbed her brother's arm in shock.

"But, that's impossible!"

"Oh, its possible." The Zeo Ranger responded "And I"m still as tough as ever. Question is… are you?"

Tommy stood his ground in front of his past self, "What is this?" He questioned, "I'm not going to fight you!"

"Then I suppose you'll be destroyed!" The Zeo Ranger stated, before striking a defensive pose.

Tommy moved to morph as he brought up his Dino bracelet only to find that the Gem had gone. Looking at his sister at her gasp, who's own bracelet was missing, he had about a split second to turn back around and duck. The Zeo Ranger kicked up at him and Tommy had to rush to block.

As Zoey went to help, she found the she was surround by five cogs, "This really is a blast from the past." Too busy defending herself, she was upset that she couldn't help her brother. She threw out her hand to blast the cogs off their feet and… nothing. No powers. "Well, this just sucks." She flipped over two running at her and, grabbing them by the shoulders, knocked their heads together. She looked back to check on Tommy and saw him get thrown through some water on the ground. "Really sucks."

Trying for a sweep kick, the Red Ranger jumped to avoid his feet being kicked out from under him before he spun around and reacted with a punch. Tommy saw it coming and flipped over, landing back on his feet as flipped over frontwards and the Zeo Ranger dodged any attack that may have ensured when he landed. Spinning around and ducking a punch, Tommy turned as the Zeo Ranger grabbed him and flipped him over from behind. The two rolled in the water beneath them, before getting up and the Zeo Ranger pushed him away as Tommy spun in the air and crashed back into the water once more.

"Washed up already, Tommy?" The Red Ranger taunted as the Tommy got back to his feet, falling into a defensive position.

Tommy looked back for a second to see Zoey struggling through the cogs. The Zeo Rangers always had trouble with them unless they were morphed. Before he could do anything, the Red Ranger jumped up and landed in front of his Black Ranger counterpart as he kicked up, but the attack was blocked. Seconds later he crashed into the water, just like the Tommy had before.

"I see you got a lot of fight left in you." The Zeo Ranger said, getting back to his feet "But is it enough?"

He threw his hand into the air and disappeared

"Wait!" Tommy shouted, his voice echoing around him. But it was too late. The Zeo Ranger was gone. "What are you talking about?" He turned back around to see the cogs disappear and his sister falling to her knees, "Zoey!"

He rushed to her side to check on her, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah." She leaned on him he helped her up, "Jenna and I tried our hardest to stay away from those things in the past. Every now and then, one or two would attack us. But, we worked together to defend ourselves and get away. I'm older and a lot more capable of defending myself, but those things… They felt, stronger. A lot stronger. I think something is fueling them."

"It's you."

"Me?"

"You're in my mind. I'm fighting myself. My past self. This," he gestured to their surroundings as it started to change into a creepy forest, "was meant for me." He sighed. "You weren't meant to be here. However this came about, it created the cogs to keep you out of my fight."

"But what's the point of the fight? What's the point of any of this?"

"I wish I knew."

1-2-3-4-5

"Tommy..." A voice echoed out, maniacal laughter following after it.

"Yeah, that's not creepy at all." She looked at her brother, "I've heard it in the video archives, but it is so much worse in person."

They looked around as the ghostly voice continued to call him. "Sorry." He shrugged, "But, um, something tells me we're not in Reefside anymore."

"Or Angel Grove!" The voice called, before the MMPR White Ranger flew out and landed a few feet in front of them, "You finally cut that hair, hey Tommy?"

"Huh?" Tommy frowned as he stepped in front of his sister, "White Ranger? But you're powers were destroyed."

"You can't keep a good Ranger down." The White Ranger responded, striking a defensive position just like the Zeo Ranger had.

"Not again," Tommy sighed, knowing what was coming. He looked over in alarm as a flock of giant crows swooped in behind him, "Tengus?" One grabbed Zoey and pulled her away from him, "No!"

"It's okay!" She yelled, blocking a punch, "I'm good. Take care of you!"

He turned back to his past self and braced himself, "Quoting Zoey when I say, 'This sucks.'!" He glared, "Come on then."

"For old time's sake." The White Ranger stated, before running at Tommy, who reacted defensively. This fight was a lot faster and stronger then the last, and Tommy quickly found himself pushing up from the ground as the White Ranger stood in front of him with his sabre drawn. Ducking backwards, he kicked up avoiding a strike as the weapon hit a near-by tree and sparks erupted everywhere. He blocked a series of kicks before rolling aside. He got back to his feet just as the White Ranger fired a series of laser blasts at him The ground behind him exploded and he was knocked onto his stomach.

"Tommy!" Zoey was being held back by the Tengus, keeping her from helping, "I may not have access to my Dino Powers," She jerked on their arms and flipped them in front of her, "But I have other abilities at my disposal." She grabbed the front of her shirt and pulled; revealing her Ninja gear, "It took Ninjetti Rangers to fight you in the past," she braced herself into a fighting stance, "it's going to take a Fire Ninja graduate to fight you now. Let's go!"

1-2-3-4-5

"This guy has worked my last nerve!" Conner growled.

"Let's finish this then!" Andy frowned at the monster, ready to be done.

"Ready?"

"WHITE RANGER!"

"DINO THUNDER!"

"POWER UP, HA!" They all activated their morphers, but nothing happened. They pressed their morphers again, but they didn't react.

"Oh no..." Andy groaned as he pressed it several times.

"What's going on?" Conner asked, looking to his friends.

"That thing fried our morphing energy!" Ethan realized.

"Not so tough now, are you?" Terrorsaurus laughed mockingly, before leaping into the air and flying off.

"He's gone!" Conner groaned.

"Hey guys!" They looked around quickly as Cassidy and Devin ran over. "Oh my goodness!" Cassidy stared at them as she saw them covered in dirt, bruises and cuts. "What happened to you guys?" She asked, concerned.

"Things are a bit fuzzy, but I'd say a giant mutant attack." Kira shrugged.

"Just another day in Reefside." Andy nodded.

"Didn't the Power Rangers come and help you out?" Cassidy frowned at them, not understanding.

"No, I guess they couldn't make it." Trent gave a weak laugh.

"Yeah, no Power Rangers anywhere near here." Conner spoke up.

"That's weird… they normally show up when anyone needs them." Devin commented, looking confused.

"Well, maybe they're at the Laundromat, washing those shiny suits?" Kira nodded.

Andy shook his head as the explanation. He didn't care, though. He just wanted to get back to the hospital and check on Tommy.

1-2-3-4-5

Kick after kick was thrown out at the White Ranger who continued to avoid the attacks Tommy was throwing at him. The fight was a series of fast kicks, punches, blocks and attacks but soon the White Ranger had the upper hand as he knocked Tommy to the ground.

"You still with me?" He mocked, "Come on… get up!"

Reaching down, he pulled the Dino Ranger to his feet and slammed him into a near-by tree, "Don't forget," he said "I know all you're old moves."

Tommy was spun around and slammed back into the tree, "That might be true," he responded, "but I've learned a few new ones!" He gripped the White Ranger's shoulders and threw him back. He then jumped up and pushed off one tree, then another, before kicking his opponent to the ground.

"Impressive." The White Ranger stated, "Now we'll see if you can face your toughest challenge." He taunted, before suddenly disappearing.

"What?" Tommy asked "Like that wasn't tough?" He jerked around at the sound of outraged squawks behind him. He laughed as his sister sauntered over, covered in Tengu feathers, "Kinda wish these were real. We'd be the only ones on Earth with a pillow made of Tengu feathers."

She quirked a brow at him, "Excuse me? I'll have you know that I have five of them, thank you. So does Jenna."

"What?"

"I don't know how many of those mutant feathers we collected that year. But, since mom taught me how to make down pillows, I figured, what the heck."

"Where are they?"

"In a storage box at Jason's house." She thought about it, "I don't even think he knows they're in there."

"Honestly."

1-2-3-4-5

"Any news Doctor? Is there anything you can tell us?" Hayley asked, staying as normal as she can with Drina in the room. The Rangers had returns to check on Tommy and they were shocked to see Jenna and Raina just sitting in chairs while Zoey slept on the couch.

"I'm sorry Hayley," Doctor Walsh shook his head sadly after checking the monitors they had hooked up. "No change." He offered an apologetic smile and walked off.

"I wish there was something we could do," Kira mumbled. "I feel completely helpless." She sighed.

"Doctor Oliver's pretty tough, Kira." Conner spoke up with a reassuring smile. "I mean, he gave me a C-Minus on my term paper."

"He was being generous." Kira countered, earning smiles from the group.

"Hayley?" They turned at the voice coming in the door to a man about Tommy's age rush in, "I got here as soon as I could. Any change?"

"None." She smiled, happy to see the visitor. Jenna squealed as she jumped up and ran over to give him a hug, "But we're obviously happy to see you."

"I can tell." He looked at the couch, "She's sleeping?"

"Actually…"

"Breaking news! The creature is back!" The TV announced, getting everyone's attention.

"I had a feeling he'd be back," Ethan grumbled, "Oh, um…" He trailed off as he looked at the visitor.

"Relax guys." Andy said, having gotten his own hug, "This is Jason. Jenna's brother. Tommy's best friend. Original Red Ranger."

Conner's eyes widened, "Dude!" He deflated, "I can't even be excited meeting the first of my color. Man! Stupid monster took our powers and now he's attacking again. This is a total bummer."

"And there's nothing we can do about it." Trent muttered angrily.

"Where are the Power Rangers?" the reporter questioned.

1-2-3-4-5

Tommy and Zoey were walking through a greener area than before; with rips of white cloth hanging all over the place. "Okay, this is weird," he spoke, "even by Ranger standards."

"And that's saying something." Zoey scoffed, "With everything Rangers see on a daily bases, this is out there."

Suddenly, the Green Dragon Dagger materialized in the tree beside them. Tommy grabbed it and turned as the Green Ranger walked towards him.

"I thought I might run into you!" He stated

"It's been a while Tommy." The Green Ranger taunted, "I see you switched to basic black."

Tommy shrugged. "It seems to work for me. Let me guess… you wanna fight!" It wasn't a question. It was a statement.

"You guess right!"

And the fight was on once more; each member run forward and attacked and blocked. While they fought, Zoey was once again surrounded; this time by Lord Zedd's Z-Putties.

"Oh, come on!" She yelled, "At least the other groups were a challenge." She paused as, instead of five to ten, there was about twenty to twenty five. "Okay. Slightly more challenging. They now outnumber me." She got into a defensive move and started attacking, "Aim for the 'Z'!" She kicked out and got the one coming at her in the chest, making it disappear. "One down."

Tommy and the Green Ranger were matching each other, blow for blow. They were too evenly matched and knew exactly what the other was going to do first. The Green Ranger kicked the dagger out of Tommy's hand and, flipping him onto the ground, caught the weapon as if fell back down. As he blew into it, the ground shook and lasers shot out at Tommy's feet; throwing off balance and knocking him back down.

1-2-3-4-5

"Again, I ask… where are the Power Rangers?!" The news reporter asked as citizens ran for the life on the tv.

"Right here." Jenna nodded at her brother, "I wasn't there when they lost their powers. I'm good to go. So, I'm going out there."

"I'm going with you." Conner shook his head, "You guys can stay here and watch this, but I can't.

"Hold up!" Ethan followed him quickly.

"We're going with you." Kira agreed.

"So am I." Raina stood up, "And before anybody argues, you're as powerless as I am. Only difference being, I have my Ninja powers. Those people need help and morpher or not, I'm helping. Once a Ranger…"

"Always a Ranger." Jenna, Andy and Jason finished with her.

Trent followed behind them as Hayley watched them leave with wide eyes. "Wait! You don't stand a chance without your powers!"

"That wouldn't stop Doctor O! And it's not going to stop us either," Ethan called back, and they hurried off to fight Terrorsaurus again.

She turned to Jason as Drina took one of the empty seats, "I don't get it."

"It's a Ranger thing, Hayley." He looked down at the bed, "He's right, though. Tommy would have never left the fight. He's taken on more monsters one-on-one, unmorphed, than anyone. That's not fighting without morphing. We're talking about fighting after he's lost his powers. He's trained them well. They'll be okay."

"You have to have faith in your team, Hayley." Drina called, waving a handing over Zoey's head to check on her, "You are just as much their mentor as Tommy is. Trust in them to be able to handle this without their powers."

"Um, speaking of power, what are you doing to my honorary little sister?" Jason asked, sitting in the chair beside her, "She's not actually asleep is she?"

"No, she's not."

1-2-3-4-5

The monster appeared in the quarry, laughing as the group ran towards him.

"Alright freak, we're gonna stop you, right here and now." Conner growled.

"Tough talk from a bunch of powerless Rangers!" Terrorsaurus mocked them.

"I'm not that powerless." Jenna yelled, "DINO THUNDER! POWER UP!" She morphed and ran with the others

Instead of responding to his taunt, the Rangers ran at him, avoiding the attacks he shot from the spike on his chest, but one finally hit the ground in front of them, and they crashed to the ground. "You're through!" He told them. They got to their feet and attacked him, throwing punches and kicks that bounced harmlessly off his armor. "This is pathetic!" He yelled, growing irritated with their attempts.

1-2-3-4-5

This fight wasn't getting anywhere. After the first attack that had sent Tommy to the ground, the Green Ranger had the upper hand. He continued his attacks before throwing Tommy aside. While the Black Ranger got back to his feet he picked up a fallen pillar and, standing it in the ground, kicked it towards the fallen Ranger. It hit the ground behind Tommy and he was thrown forwards through the air by the force of the impact.

"You know better than anybodyhow powerful I am!" The Green Ranger said, removing the weapon from his waist and towering over Tommy, "Why don't you just give up the fight?"

Tommy shook his head as he pushed himself up, "That's the one thing I'll never do!" He declared, glaring.

"Then I guess this is over!" The Green Ranger raised his dagger up for the final strike. However, he lowered the dagger and reached out a hand to pull Tommy to his feet, "You passed the test."

"Test?" Tommy frowned, "What are you talking about?"

The Red Zeo Ranger approached from behind the Green Ranger, "You haven't been fighting us," he explained "you've been fighting for you're life."

"And you've proven that you're will to live," the White Ranger spoke as he appeared on the other side of Zeo Five, "is stronger than any Ranger power."

The Green Ranger nodded past him. He looked back to see Zoey finishing off the Z-Putties. "Though she wasn't supposed to be here, she's proven that she too will be able to stand any tests her future holds. Her love for you brought her here to fight to get you home. Her love for her friends and family will be tested and she will have to keep proving it. But we know she can."

Zoey ran over just as the three past Rangers of his life held out their hands, each with their palms up to reveal three broken pieces of his Dino Gem. "This is yours." He took them and they reformed in his hand, "Good Luck, Black Ranger!" The three of the spoke at the same time before fading back into what they were - memories.

"So… this whole thing was a test." She frowned, "Oh, she better not have."

"If it's who I think you're thinking of," he warned, "let's not say it out loud. We both know she can hear."

"One of these days."

1-2-3-4-5

Zoey opened her eyes to see Drina smiling down at her, "Welcome back."

"Thanks." She sat and nodded at the bed, "Look."

Hayley turned to see Tommy wake up, "Tommy, you're okay."

"Yeah," He smiled up at her, "never felt better."

"Well, I'm glad to hear it, bro." Jason said, lounging in his chair with his phone out, "I'm going to start the phone tree again and you two might want to get out there."

"Huh?"

"The others lost their powers. Well, Jenna didn't, as she was here, so they're all fighting the monster. Raina went with them."

"Of course she did." Zoey stretched, "Once a Ranger." She looked at her brother, "Got enough energy to kick some Terrorsaurus butt? The new one."

"Definitely."

1-2-3-4-5

"It's over!" Terrorsaurus declared as the Rangers attempted to get up, before two familiar figures kicked him to the ground.

"Doctor O!" Conner laughed as he saw their teacher standing in front of them. They got to get to their feet as they grinned at the Black Ranger, who was now unmorphed, visible, and conscious.

"You're alive!" Kira smiled brightly.

"Not for long," Terrorsaurus snarled. Zoey and Tommy's smiles dropped as they turned to face the monster.

"READY!"

"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP!"

"Brachio Power!"

"Fox Power!" Raina stayed back with the others as Jenna rushed over and joined them, now morphed and ready to fight.

"Big deal!" Terrorsaurus blasted them.

They dodged it and triple-kicked him back.

"Super Dino Mode!" Doctor Oliver called out, and his suit changed. The gold spikes on his suit became real, and his power grew.

"Whoa, when did he get Super Dino Powers?" Conner laughed.

"I don't know, but he picked a good time to bust 'em out!" Ethan grinned.

Terrorsaurus attempted to blast him again, but Tommy dodged and leapt at him. He attacked from up close, easily outmatching the Terrorsaurus in both speed and strength. He lifted the monster into the air, and tossed him into the side of the cliff.

"Brachio Staff! Energy Orb, now!" He then called on his weapon, and with a powerful circular attack, he destroyed the monster. A strange white stone flew through the air, and shattered when it hit the ground. Five lights flew from it, and returned to the other Rangers' morphers.

"Sweet, we got out powers back!" Ethan laughed as he looked down at his morpher.

"Doctor O!"

"Ok, what was that about?" Conner asked as they ran over to their teacher.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you." He explained, before a loud voice rang out.

"You didn't think I'd give up that easily, did you?" Terrorsaurus asked as he grew.

"Think you four can finish this guy?" Doctor Oliver asked as he looked his students.

"Totally." Conner nodded as his morpher changed.

"DINO THUNDER, POWER UP, HA!" They morphed, calling on their Zords.

They landed in front of the Terrorsaurus, but as they ran at him, he blasted them and knocked them to the ground.

"If Doctor Oliver can win his fight, so can we!" Kira told her friends.

"You're right Kira!" Ethan nodded.

"Let's give it everything we've got!" Conner shouted. "Super Dino Mode!" They called on their much greater powers and empowered their Megazord. "Dino Drill! Full power!" They shot through the air and destroyed the Terrorsaurus.

1-2-3-4-5

Back in the lab, Tommy and Hayley sat at the computers, the Angel Grove teens sat on the couch with Drina and Jason, and the other stood on the steps in front of the computer chairs.

"Ok… let me get this straight," Ethan started, "Three of your old Ranger powers came to you in a dream?"

"And you had to fight them to get your life back?" Conner spoke up, looking excited.

"This is awesome!" Ethan cheered as he, Kira, Trent and Conner started talking at once.

"Dude, he just got out of a coma." Andy yelled, "Chill out."

"That was a lot of energy for someone just out of a coma." Raina snickered.

"Guys," Doctor Oliver laughed, waving off the jokers at the couch, "I just want to thank you guys, from the bottom of my heart, for hanging in with me through all this." He smiled at them as they fell quiet. "It was tough, but you guys came through. It means a lot to me."

"He's right. You should be really proud of yourselves," Hayley spoke up. When Conner sniffed, the Rangers all looked at him quickly.

"Are you crying?" Ethan realized.

"No!" Conner looked at him as if he were crazy. "We're just really glad to have you back, Doctor O!" The Red Ranger told him quickly.

"Ignore them, Conner." Jason said, walking over with the others, "There's nothing wrong with the Red Ranger showing emotion for his teammates." He clapped the ogling teen on the shoulder, "We've been watching you guys. You do good work. We're proud of you." He nodded to Tommy, "You couldn't have asked for a better mentor." He smirked, "Unless it was me, of course. I never would've gotten myself stuck in fossilized amber."

"Don't even start, bro." Tommy scoffed, "Do you really want me to start calling out some of your Ranger mishaps?"

"Please?" Kira begged, getting everyone's attention, "Not the mishap thing, but… I don't know, you don't really talk about your past Ranger stuff."

"There's too much to talk about, actually." Zoey shrugged, "I mean, you all saw the video. He went through a lot." She noticed Tommy's eyes getting wide, "Oops."

"What video?" Jason asked, glaring at his best friend, "Tommy?"

Zoey covered her face as she tried not to laugh with the others, "That's what I like to call, um… my bad." Tommy just shook his head at her.

"Great."

Oops! Looks like Tommy has some explaining to do. Lol.
