Fate: Infinite Dream Hero
"Shirou, wake up!" A familiar voice shouted.
The redhead teen can't help but opened his eyes to a familiar levitation dismember red arm right in front of him. But he noticed that the red arm is slowing fading away.
"Ankh!?" The redhead boy gasped. "You're…"
"Don't worry about me. I got what I wanted." The red arm said.
"You mean life…? But if you die…" Shirou said.
"You're right. Thanks to you all, a pile of Medals like me can 'die'." Ankh said in a rare soft and contend tone. "I don't think I could ever find anything more satisfying."
Shirou wants to do something as it was his fault from the start that Ankh will be gone. But he can also tell that the flowing arm seems content at his last moment.
"Choosing you worked out for me, in the end," Ankh said. "There's no doubt about that." The arm turning more transparent and flow away from him.
"Ankh, wait!" Shirou shouts, trying to reach to the arm...
"I'm not the hand that you need help from anymore. If you truly continued to be a hero, see that desire being satisfied, Shirou!" Ankh said before he faded away as Shirou grabbed out to him.
Shirou then returns his hand and stares at a half-broken red coin with a hawk on it. "Ankh!"
(Reality)
The redhead young man snapped his golden-brown eyes opened as he wakes up from a distant dream of his past. He is also aware of how much he was sweating right now as he turned around and looking at the clock. It was 5:30 am, two more hours before it was morning.
He got up and reach the draw of his desk and looking at the things in them. The first one was an enlarged belt buckle that has three coins like slots that has a color design of blue and silver. The other item is two halves of a broken red coin from his dream.
Shirou looking at them and can't help thinking that it's already been three years since the event happened. "Ankh…"
He never forgets the person who eventually becomes one of his dearest friends when the Greeeds were unleashed and the adventure that a third-rate Magus like Shirou Emiya would take.
The redhead boy thought about taking a quick shower, but his cellphone suddenly rang, and he was curious about who is calling him this earlier in the morning. He doesn't know that many would call him this early in the morning. He got off his bed and went straight to it.
"Sorry to call you so early in the morning, Shirou-kun." A familiar female voice said.
"Hey, Fiore…?" Shirou asked, still yawning. "Why do you call me so early?" Not that he is surprised when learning one of his close friends and heir of large magus family know how to use a cellphone to communicate with him.
"But this is urge matter." The female voice said on the other line.
"What is it?" The redhead asked, still sleep.
"The Fifth Holy Grail War have started now." The female voice revealed and make Shirou wide awake.
"That is impossible…" This made Shirou's eyes widen in shock, "Didn't you say that the war will only be started in the next 60 years!?" he exclaimed in outraged.
"I thought the same before my mark appeared on my arm and Grandfather confirmed it to be real when I show him it." The female voice said. "Shirou, do you have a mark on you…?"
Shirou soon checked his arms and his eyes widen to see strange red marks that resembled three red rings that close with each other. He surprised that this mark was on him even without realizing it. But it also reminds him of OOO insignia.
"Yeah, I do…" Shirou said. "but even if I am in that war, there is no way that I will try to kill you. The only thing that I want is keeping innocent people from harm's way from that damn war."
"Even if you aren't in the war, I know that somehow you will be involved for the civilian. Is it alright if I can stay at your place for the time of the war?" Fiore asked.
"You're always welcome here, Fiore," Shirou said, smiling. "So, when are you going to get here? And did you already summoned your Servant?" he asked, curious.
"Probably sometime tonight. As for my Servant… it's a surprise~!" Fiore said with the latter being in a teasing and mischief tone.
"Then I will see you tonight, Fiore," Shirou said before ending the call.
With that, he decided on taking a shower before began his day. After all, he needs to prepare himself for the upcoming Holy Grail War that likely occurs tonight and likely needs to summon his own Servant.
Shirou was on his way back to his home after the classes were finished and getting ready to summon his Servant. But it wasn't long until he stops and stares at one of the telephone poles.
"I don't know who you are, but I don't participate like spied on." Said Shirou serious.
It wasn't long until a tall, blue-haired man in white robes shimmered into existence, perhaps a hundred feet away. His bright red eyes seemed to practically glow at him out of the gloom.
"Since when did you noticed?" The blue-haired man asked.
"I have good eyes." Shirou answered calmly. Or, it will think to his magical ability that grants him the enchanted ability of certain Core Medals to spotted him. "I'm going to ask what you want… Servant?" he inquired.
"Nothing more than that I'll be your enemy for tonight…" The blue-haired man twirled a long wooden staff in his right hand, slamming it down on the ground next to him. "Better than survive, kid."
Shirou soon took out the OOO-Driver and placed it on his waist as a silver belt appeared around his body.
"I will… Trace On!" Shirou shouted as three coins appeared right in front of him and snatched them in the process. He then inserted the medals straight into the OOO-Driver.
This made the blue-haired man raising an eyebrow as Shirou tilted the buckle of the belt and took out some-sort of the circular device and seemingly scanned the medals in the buckle.
"Henshin!" Shirou shouted.
TAKA!
TORA!
BATTA!
~TATOBA! TATOBA! TATOBA! ~
Holograms of medals circled around Shirou, some going through him. Three different colored medals stopped in front of him and fused to become a big emblem that smashed into his chest. The emblem created a black bodysuit with armor. He had a red bird-like head with green eyes, yellow gauntlets with three claws folded back with a yellow line running up to his shoulder pads, and green legs with an armor pattern on it that looked insect-like with green shoes and green angled lines going to his chest. He also had a gold circle encompassing his chest with the images in this order from top to bottom a Redbird on top of Yellow tiger face with a green grasshopper head under it.
This is Kamen Rider OOO.
"Ho! Do you think that you can fight me like that, boy?" The blue-haired man laughed, tapping his wooden staff on the ground.
"Don't know unless I try…!" OOO respond, standing ready as Tora claws materialized on his arms.
This made the blue hair caster smiled. "Alright, then try to survive this." A rune flashed in the air before him.
The wave of fire from the blue-haired caster's rune collided as the floor where OOO was standing glows and able to explode. But not before OOO used Batta's legs to leap high into the air and jumps away from the explosion.
He then charged forward with his Tora Claws at the blue-haired caster who used his wooden staff to block the blows from the Rider. The blows clashed with each other from time to time again before the two soon moved back from each other. However, the blue-haired man is much faster than OOO as he kept moving far from him and fired his fire runes at him.
"Trace On…!" OOO said before the two of his Core Medals were swapped in the instant. He then got out his Scanner and tilted the buckle of the belt before scanned the belt.
"TAKA!"
"GORILLA!"
"CHEETAH!"
OOO didn't change much except for his arms are silver but resembled that of gorilla arms then his legs were yellow. With that, OOO soon dodged the blue-haired caster's fireballs and getting closer distance with the blue-haired caster in order to fight with him once again.
When the blue-haired caster tried to cast a fire rune at OOO, OOO fired his Gori Bagoon Gauntlets like missiles to create an explosion between them. This made the blue-haired man looks surprised before OOO come out and punched him with reattached Gori Bagoon Gauntlets.
This sends the blue-haired man skidding a few feet back.
However, just before they could continue, both OOO and the blue-haired man sensed something from afar as they both dodged a flying projectile that aimed for them.
"Who was that…?" OOO questioned confused. He tried to used Hawk vision from Taka in order to find out who, but whoever fired the arrow must keep their presence hidden.
"It seems that we attract quite an attention. You're lucky, boy, as my Master says that you should be left alone. Tell me, what's your name?" the blue-haired man said while looking at the direction.
"…OOO," OOO said, but curious about who is this Servant's master. After all, this is certainly not Fiore's servant obvious.
"I'm Caster, and you're free to go," The blue-haired man said, giving a wicked grin as he vanished into the thin air.
OOO pondered about the event occurs to him. Though he won't leave it like this… but he needed to summon his servant soon before any more problems come to him and the city.
With the Cheetah Legs, OOO soon ran back straight to his home before canceled out his transformation. Shirou is relief that no one seems to be around as he made his way to the tool shed.
There was a magic circle in the middle of the shed. It was something that discovery back when Fiore was still mentoring him about magic. Though it might not be for summoning, any Formal craft circle would do for it.
As for the relic that required for the summoning— Shirou already has one within himself. It was something been with him for a long time that he didn't notice himself before and one saved him countless times.
Shirou soon started chanting.
"Silver and iron to the origin. Gem and the archduke of contracts to the cornerstone. The ancestor is my great master Schweinorg.
The alighted wind becomes a wall. The gates in the four directions close, coming from the crown, the three-forked road that leads to the kingdom circulate.
Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill). Shut (fill).
Repeat every five times.
Simply, shatter once filled.
――――I announces.
Your self is under me, my fate(doom) is in your sword.
In accordance with the approach of the Holy Grail, if you abide by this feeling, this reason, then answer.
Here is my oath. I am the one who becomes all the good of the world of the dead, I am the one who lays out all the evil of the world of the dead.
You, seven heavens clad in three words of power, arrive from the ring of deterrence, O keeper of the balance ―――!" Shirou finished as the magic circle glowed brightly.
He was forced to cover his eyes before the light dissipated. Shirou then opened his eyes and saw something quite shocking.
Inside the magic circle was a small girl with blonde hair in a ponytail alongside green eyes and pale skin and wearing a blue and white dress under white armor, befitting of a knight. Shirou also noticed that she was carrying a blade… at least he thought it was a blade since that thing was invisible in her hand.
"I am Servant Saber." The girl spoke with a regal tone. "Upon your summoning, I have come forth. I ask of you, are you my master?"
Shirou raised his command mark for her acknowledgment. "But who are you? Are you related to King Arthur by any chance?" he asked, looking very confused at the young girl.
"Forgive me, but I don't want to disclosure my true name yet if any enemies are there in presence." Saber stated with a serious expression.
She is very secretive about her own identity… Shirou thought to himself.
"I guess that is fine with me, Saber. My friend told me that this is the Holy Grail..." Shirou said with a smile upon his face. "Is it true that this Holy Grail really grants wish?" he asked for confirmation.
"Yes," She said. "A competition between seven Master-Servant pairs for the prize of the Holy Grail, and the wish that it promises. We are one of those pairs. You have summoned me, a Servant of the Saber-class, and so it is probably best that you call me Saber, Master."
"I really don't like being called Master," Shirou said. "My name is Shirou Emiya. Just call me by my name."
This somehow made Saber's eyes widen in shock after hearing his name. But this made Shirou looks confused since he is certain that there is no way a Heroic Spirit like Saber would know his name. Right?
"Is there something wrong?" Shirou asked.
"No, it's-" Before Saber could continue, she becomes cold and distant when sensing something outside of the shed. "A servant and master are approaching. Master, stay here." She responds before hurried out of the shed.
"Wait, Saber…!" Shirou said before running after the blonde hair girl from behind and out of his residence place.
It wasn't long until he saw her in a clash with another servant— a young man, covered in golden armor with a red gem in the middle of his bare chest. Both his skin and hair were white as snow, his eyes being akin to steel. The most unusual feature about him was the cape made of flames that were floating behind him.
But what made his eyes wide in shock to see a young woman who stands behind the servant. She has long wavy brown hair that is tied in a ponytail and blue eyes, dressing in a dark blue jacket and black pants. She was also carrying what looks like a suitcase.
Both Saber and the other Servant have clashed with each other as weapons sparks flying in the air. Neither of them seems to be able to lay a blow on each other.
"Saber, don't harm them!" Shirou shouts as his voice made them halt immediately.
The young blonde hair girl stopped, lowering her invisible sword. However, her body was still tense and clearly ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.
"But why?! They're enemy Master and Servant!" Saber argued furiously.
"I understand this war is killing each other for a wish, but that doesn't mean I will be approved of killing Master!" Shirou said seriously.
"Good event, Shirou-kun. It seems that we arrived at a bad timing on our part." The brunette said with a kind smile.
"It's nice to see you again, Fiore. I'm sorry about Saber for attacking you and your Servant." Shirou apologized with a guilty expression.
"You couldn't know if it was her or another Master and Servant that might investigate your summoning that can be felt from afar." The white hair man stated nonchalantly.
"You know each other?" Saber asked, a bit curious.
"She is my friend and mentor in magic. She wished to stay at my place for the duration of the Holy Grail War." Shirou explains. "So, this is your Servant, Fiore?" he inquired when stares at the white-haired man.
"You may call me Lancer, Master of Saber." The white-haired man said. "Is it safe to assumed that you will make sure no harms come to my Master while she lives under your house?" He inquired.
"Of course," Shirou said seriously.
"How about we go inside first before anyone comes across us?" Fiore suggested.
Shirou noticed that Saber looking at him and nodded. The blonde hair girl went to Shirou's side, following his orders despite her displeasure.
As they moved into the house, Shirou spoke up. "Before I went home to summoned Saber, a blue hair man with red eyes known as Caster come across me and I have to fight him," Shirou said when thinking back to the blue hair Servant from early.
"Wait, you fought against a Servant on your own?!" Saber inquired with shock.
"Well, Caster class tends to be weaker in close combat. But it strange that someone sends a one in the front line." Fiore interjected. "What happens to Caster?" she questioned.
"Our fight got interrupted when someone fired a projectile at us, but I wasn't able to see who. Caster suddenly let me leave due to his master's order." Shirou explains.
"Do you know what Caster's ability?" The blonde hair girl pressing for information.
"Let's see… he is really fast, using rune magic, and seemingly good with his wooden staff for a close quarter." Shirou said.
"Then he won't be much of a problem." Saber said. It also a good thing that she was summoned in higher stats.
"So where is Fujimura-san?" Fiore asked curiously.
"Fuji-nee has to stay behind in school and won't be able to make it for dinner," Shirou respond. "Do you want me cook dinner before we leave?" he asked, making Fiore smile.
"I would like that. I will be unpacking my belongings in the usual room." Fiore said before going up the stairs with her suitcase.
Shirou then looks back at both Saber and Lancer. "Do you guys want to join us for dinner?" he offered.
"Normally, we don't need foods," Lancer said. "However, my Master says your cooking is really good and I'm kind of curious if that really true."
"I don't mind." Saber said.
Shirou and Fiore went inside the Kotomine Church as the interior resembled that of an ordinary church. After going straight into the church, Shirou can't help but sense something out of the place.
"So where is this Overseer person?" Shirou asked.
"He should be around here," Fiore answered.
It wasn't long until they heard a low creaking noise from the other side of the dark chapel as an old door opened and a man dressed in priestly garments stepped out.
Shirou can't help widening his eyes when staring at the man and the back of his hair rising a bit. For just a moment, he is certainly that amusement that now shines in those orbs, the priest's eyes had most certainly been dead. The smile upon his face was like it was misplaced or being forced on there. But there is no mistake about what Shirou felt. He feels just like…
"Doctor Maki…" Shirou said, making Fiore's eyes wide.
"I'm not this Doctor Maki person. I'm Father Kotomine of Kotomine Church," The priest stated. "How may I help you two tonight?" he asked.
But this made Shirou warily of him due to his gut feeling until he hears Fiore spoke up. "My name is Fiore Forvedge Yggdmillennia, I'm here as the Master of Lancer in this Holy Grail War." She responds.
"You won't happen to be that family who moved from the Mage's Association?" The priest inquired curiously.
"I am," Fiore answered.
"And you?" The priest asked, looking at Shirou.
"My name is Shirou Emiya, I'm here as the Master of Saber for the Holy Grail War," Shirou said without leaving any doubts.
"Emiya…? You won't happen to be related to Kiritsugu Emiya, aren't you?" The priest asked, seem interested in Shirou.
"He is my old man," Shirou answered. "What is your relationship with him?" he inquired seriously.
"You could say that we have a bitter history together…" The priest said, "Do you understanding what you're getting involved in?" he asked.
"Yeah…" Shirou said, "Sacrifices of servants from the past in order to obtain ominous power cup to grant any wishes." After all, the creation of Greeeds was for that purpose of establishing Heaven's feeling is very similar to the Holy Grail War.
The priest smiled widen. "You have an interesting perception of how the Grail work…" he remarked. "Then you know you will have to kill if you join? There is still a chance to back out. If you relinquish your command seals and leave the war, I can grant you asylum in this church."
"I know. But I fight to ensure there is minimize casualties. If others killed each other, then they accept their own fate. But I will see this war to the end," Shirou's eyes turned steely. "so, the mistake of the last war will never happen again."
A chuckle. The priest raised his arms. "Then Shirou Emiya, the last of the masters, has officially joined. Let the Grail War proper, begin." He finished darkly.
With that done, both Shirou and Fiore have no reason for being in the church with the priest anymore.
"Fiore, how do you feel about the priest?" Shirou asked curiously after leaving the building.
"I won't deny that there is something that is wrong with this place but attacking the church will only make us enemies." Fiore said with a serious expression. "But what you say early… do you think he is Maki?" she asked with a wary tone. She doesn't want to think about that man who used to work under Kougami, who the Yggdmillennia family held completely distrust for his ancestor's action.
"It's just the feeling that makes me think of him. But if he is anything like Maki… we better prepared for worse." Shirou said seriously.
Fiore looks at him with a nodded. "Yes. I guess that would be our best opinion for the time being." She responds.
"Master, have you finished your business at the church?" Saber asked after approaching them.
Shirou nodded, "It's better that we head back home now." He responds before the three are seen walking away from the church.
But just before that, Lancer materialized himself out of thin air and looking serious.
"Lancer, what's the matter?" Fiore asked, confused.
"We have company…" Lancer responds, materialized his large spear and pointed at the location not far from them.
It wasn't long until Fiore, Saber, and Shirou felt a sudden chill behind them as they look at the direction where Lancer pointed it.
Standing on a nearby hill was a young albino girl, who looked to be no older than twelve or thirteen. She wore a purple coat alongside a matching purple hat that covered snow-white hair. Her red eyes stared at them with a glint of glee, but the smile on her face was anything but warm. It was cold and predatory… not something found in the eyes of a normal child.
"Good evening, Onii-chan. I see that you have summoned your Servant already." The albino girl responds.
"I take it that you're representative of Einzbern?" Fiore asked as calmly as possible. But she is inward surprised to find out that one of the founders' clans send someone who looks like a child.
Even Shirou recognized the name when he was still under Fiore's tutoring and learning about the Holy Grail War. He is also surprised that a child was involved in the Holy Grail War.
"That is correct. I am Illyasviel von Einzbern." The albino girl said. "Though I would have come to see you a few days ago, Onii-chan, if it weren't for the fact that my mansion in the woods heavily needed to be repaired."
Unknown to the albino girl and two servants, both Shirou and Fiore can't help feeling shocked. They know what mansion the little girl was talking about as it been used by the Greeed.
This is bad if she finds out that it was us who did demolish during the Greeed affair… and go after others! Shirou thought serious.
Saber soon removed her raincoat and goes into a ready stance with Lancer when a figure appeared behind the small girl.
The figure was, in fact, a GIGANTIC man with gray skin, black wild hair, red-yellow eyes, and wore only a Greek armor skirt while holding a giant slab of rock as a sword.
Shirou's eyes cannot be wide by the killing intent that was radiation from the Servant behind the little girl.
"He has no clear conscious but filled with only anger and rage. This is no mistake that this is none other than a Berserker." Lancer said from his observation.
"Even if it against two of you, my Berserker will still win," Illyasviel said. "Berserker killed them!"
It charged at them like a stampeding herd, its speed to the point that it was just a blur to Shirou's eyes, a gigantic mass of roiling death and doom approaching at bullet speed.
Both Saber and Lancer ran forward and met the charge with their own.
A shockwave that almost made him and Fiore fall rang out as the two forces met, scattering whatever debris that littered on the streets and shattering the very cement. But they managed to get up in order to see the standstill of the clash.
AN: That is the end of the one-shot for OOO. Also, I assured you that events in Fate Stay Night will be different here including different masters and servants, especially with a certain immortal worm vampire no longer present.
In this world, the Yggdmillennia family are descendants of those who survived the first OOO's power maniac and destruction of their country that made them wiped out the history of OOO from the rest of the world. It's due to the seal on the Greeed being unlocked, turned Yggdmillennia's attention to Japan and Shirou becomes OOO at the age of 15 and meets Fiore and her brother Caules who Ankh possessed. Shirou's ability in magic is changing due to the presence of Core Medals and Fiore being his mentor and close friend.
