Hello everyone! It's been a while, but I'm back. I apologize for the long absence, but I just couldn't find the time and the motivation to properly work on this story. However, since it means a lot to me, I've come up with a new version. I really hope you enjoy this one as much as the original, if not more.
See you soon! Kisses!
PS: English isn't my native language so please be indulgent with the potential mistakes. I'll do my best to correct them.
Prologue:
Everything in life has a beginning and an end. Nothing lasts forever.
She knew it. She knew that one day she would die.
But she never thought it would happen so soon.
At just 15 years old.
However, Death is indifferent to the age of her victims. She takes whomever she pleases, whenever she pleases.
A cold winter's night.
A poorly lit road.
A crosswalk.
A car going too fast.
Time seemed to freeze.
In the next moment, the collision propelled her into the air and she landed forcefully on the cold asphalt.
Pain radiated throughout her body, and she was unable to move.
Paralyzed, she saw the culprit flee in his car in the distance.
She couldn't even speak to call for help, hoping someone would hear her. To be saved.
Her blood poured into her lungs.
She took one last look at the starry sky.
Her breathing stopped.
Alone, on this poorly lit road, she drowned in her own blood.
Her wish flew in the air with the last beat of her heart.
A second chance.
