Hey guys! Glad to see you guys are liking the story so far! I want to start off by apologizing for the long wait. I got hit by a huge wall of writer's block and life got hectic. This affected most of my stories as you probably already know from my recent announcement.

I finally got this chapter done, so I figured I'd update this story while the updating is good. I love how the story is unfolding, and I hope I can deliver some good content for you guys. I'm also interested by the guesses you guys had as to who Mikey's first date will be. Before we get to the reviews, however, I'd like to show off the current standings for the monthly dedication order. Here they are.

September 1, 2012

New York City, New York

The city lights shined brightly on the first night of September. Stores were preparing for Halloween ahead of time, some going as far as to put out their Thanksgiving décor. Shoppers watched out for great deals they could get for birthdays and Christmas, the chaos involved a prelude of Black Friday two months away. It was also on this day that the members of Operation Aphrodite were preparing to have their first dates of the month. Some of the newer members of the service were having a particularly stressful time getting ready for their first dates.

"I can't find anything to wear!" cried a voice. It would surprise some to know that this is not the cry of a teenage girl. Mikey was scrounging through clothes as his turtle self, sometimes shifting into human form to try on certain outfit combinations. "There's so much stuff I couldn't wear before and I can't decide what to do! I've never actually gone to a restaurant where people could see me before!"

"Oh would you just shut up Mikey!?" cried Raph. "Not everyone wants to hear you ramble on about a date! Donnie was enough!" An indignant cry was heard as Raph approached the room. Raph was definitely not a turtle at this very moment.

He was in his human form, sporting dark red hair and pale skin. He wore a red tank top with a white star on it, black jean shorts, brown sandals, and black fingerless gloves. His eyes were still green, easily displaying his discontent with his youngest brother's nervousness. Mikey sighed as he returned to turtle form with a frown on his face.

"It's important to me Raph! I want any girl I date to see the best I can be because I'm dating for keeps. I'm not the kind of guy that dates around for fun." Raph blinked a few times in response, surprised by the youngest brother's maturity. Splinter smiled as he approached the duo.

"Do not worry my son." Reassured Splinter. "It was not just personality that allowed me to win over Tang Shen all those years ago. I shall help you come up with a presentable outfit." Mikey grinned as the master walked into his room.

"Are we sure it's a good idea to let Master Splinter pick out Mikey's clothes?" asked Leo. The leader in blue walked over to Raph in a blue kimono with a grey cloud pattern on the back, light blue gi pants, and black traditional shoes. "I may have a similar at home style, but Mikey is another person entirely." Raph shrugged in response, not knowing a thing about dressing up for a for a date. Donnie's door flew open as he took a look out.

"That's why I called April to help." Stated Donnie. He was also in his human form, sporting curly brown hair and pale skin. He wore a pair of scientific goggles on his head, a purple dress shirt, jean pants with a green handkerchief in his right pocket, and brown loafers. His freckles remained on his face, being beige instead of light green. Realizing he still had the goggles on his head, Donnie took them off as he walked out of the room.

Raph made kissy faces in order to tease the tall brother, only to receive a light punch on the arm. The sound of oncoming footprints caught the brothers' attention. April walked into the room, her hair let down. Donnie blushed at the sight of her, but quickly regained his composure as he rubbed the back of his head. "Hey Angel… I MEAN APRIL!"

"Way to be subtle bro." Leo held back a laugh as Donnie held his hands to his face. April blushed a bit as she chuckled.

"Hey Donnie." Greeted the redhead. "Hey guys. I heard you guys needed help getting Mikey ready for his first date." Before anyone could respond, Mikey walked out of his room with a smile.

"Check it out guys!" The group looked towards him, only for the remaining brothers to nearly face-plant. Mikey was dressed in a kimono much like Leo's, only a little looser on him to reveal a white t-shirt. Master Splinter seemed proud of his work as he nodded his head. April smiled as she gestured to the boy.

"It's great Mikey, but maybe you should dress to match the place you're going to. Do you know where you are going?" Mikey grinned as he nodded his head.

"Yep!" The youngest Hamato ran over to a small laptop he got a few weeks back and logged onto his account. He had his tongue sticking out to the side a bit as he reached the email section. "Here she is: date números uno!" April hummed as she looked over the information for the girl.

User Name: BubbleGirl

Age: 15

Gender: Female

Height: 5'3"

Type of Person I'm Looking For: Someone who is sweet but will stand up for himself and isn't afraid to be a little goofy.

"She sounds like a good match, but I'm wondering if 'Cityville' is an actual place. It says you're meeting at an Italian restaurant by the name of Luigi's." April gasped as she nods her head. "I know that place! It's a more casual place where couples usually go to get to know each other!"

April grabbed the hem of Mikey's kimono, a small smile on her face. "Definitely not a kimono place." Mikey groaned in frustration as he grabbed at his blonde hair. "Come on Mikey. I think I know exactly what you need."

April pulled Mikey back into his room before going through the clothes he did have. She made a mental note to take the guys shopping so they have some nicer clothes. She quickly put an outfit together as she handed it to the boy. Mikey hummed nervously as he looked over the outfit, but April was already out the door. Her and the others waited as Mikey took his time getting used to his outfit.

"Come on Mikey." Stated Leo. "You need to pick up the flowers and be at the place by 5 PM." Mikey sounded off his worry as he began to hurriedly zip up an outfit. The boy soon walked out of the room, nervous as all get out. His brothers smiled at him, Raph whistling in acknowledgement.

Mikey was wearing a burnt orange short-sleeved button up shirt with a white undershirt, khakis pants, and brown exercise shoes. It was obvious that the boy was nervous, mostly due to the reminder of his time constraint, as he anxiously presented himself. Raph was the first to speak as he nodded his head.

"Now that looks more like you." Stated the hothead. "You should have started with that." Master Splinter nodded his head in agreement.

"It is a good look on you Michelangelo." Agreed the father. "You have grown into a fine young man." Mikey felt a bit of pride at those words, grinning as he walked down the steps. He looked at the clock, only to gasp as he saw the time.

"I gotta go if I wanna make it to the flower shop!" cried Mikey. "I gotta borrow some money just in case we need to do something outside the service's radar." Donnie smiled as he held up a leather wallet with a logo bearing a pair of nun chucks on it.

"Already got you covered." Stated Donnie. "This should be enough to cover anything you need for tonight. Don't go spending it left and right." Mikey chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head. He looked to see Raph giving him a thumbs up.

"Remember, just be yourself." Stated the tough brother. "You can do this." The young turtle nodded in response as he took a deep breath. With his chest puffed out, the boy made his way out of the sewers. He had plenty of time to get the flowers he needed and get to the restaurant if he was fast enough.

Mikey approached the flower stall as quickly as possible. He had thirty minutes to spare and he was making good time. Noticing a sign that stated a membership was required, he pinned his stone name tag to his shirt. He pushed the door open, only to be mesmerized by the amount of flowers in the store. He heard a voice sound off in surprise as he saw someone carrying a potted plant.

"Looks like you guys are coming in already." Stated a red haired man. He wore your average florist's uniform along with a small yellow medallion. On the medallion was the logo for Operation Aphrodite. "I'll have your order ready in a second kid." Mikey nodded as he waited patiently.

"Cool!" Replied the blonde. He gently rubbed one of the flowers nearby. "So… do you guys grow all of these here? Some of these look kinda exotic." The man chuckled in response as he began to set up a bouquet.

"You could say that. Some of them come from out of town, but we're able to keep up with them and care for them." Mikey nodded as he looked to the counter. "Every flower you get will be at one of the stations set up around the globe." The young turtle in disguise whistled at the man's statement.

"You guys have a big commitment to this, huh?" The store owner nodded in response. Seeing as the flowers were already paid for, Mikey slowly backed towards the door. "Well, thanks again dude!" The florist chuckled as he waved the boy off.

"See you tomorrow kid!" Mikey decided to travel to the restaurant by rooftop, wanting to make good time. He grinned as he watched the streets pass below him. The boy could have sworn he saw a shooting star pass through the sky, so luck must have been on his side. He came to a stop as he soon reached his destination.

As April stated, the place was definitely a casual location. He perfectly matched the style of the people going to the restaurant. He carefully scaled down from the roof as he rushed towards the building. He slowed down as people began looking his way. He was so thankful for the transformation his family underwent last month as all he received were some sympathetic smiles and some coos at how adorable he looked.

He came to a stop as he saw a young girl sitting by the fountain. She matched the description of BubbleGirl, her hair the right color and in the right style. She wore a white jacket over a blue shirt, a blue skirt with a black belt, white leggings, and black dress shoes. She turned his way, the heart-shaped stone badge proving her identity. Mikey took a deep breath as he approached the girl.

"Excuse me. Are you BubbleGirl?" The yellow haired girl smiled as she looked towards him. She definitely looked friendly as she nodded her head.

"Yes." Replied the girl in a respectful manner. "MCMikey?" Mikey nodded his head as he tugged at his collar a bit. "My name is Miyako Gotokuji, but you can call me Miyako." Mikey quickly regained his cool as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I'm Michelangelo Hamato, but everyone calls me Mikey. It's nice to meet you Miyako." The local blonde quickly held up the bouquet of flowers with a smile. "I hope you like these." The girl smiled as she happily accepted the flowers.

"Thank you Mikey-kun. They look beautiful." She looked to the restaurant as her smile widened. "Let's get our table." Remembering what April and the others taught him, Mikey took his date's hand as he nodded.

"Good idea. I'm excited to see what this place has to offer!" Miyako blushed as she allowed Mikey to lead her on. The duo soon found their table as they took a seat. A waiter soon brought them some breadsticks and a few plates.

"Welcome to Luigi's!" Greeted the man. "Can I start you two off with something to drink?" Miyako nodded her head in response.

"I'll just take a sweat tea please." Requested the blonde girl. "No lemon please." Mikey hummed as he looked over the drinks. He shrugged as he looked to the waiter.

"I'll just have a cola, thanks." Replied Mikey. The waiter nodded as he wrote down the order. He put his pen away as he looked to the duo.

"I'll have those right out for you. Please take some time to look over the menu." The man left the duo alone, a pause of silence going on as they looked over their menus. Mikey could tell that he was letting the atmosphere get awkward between them, quickly remembering how a stale date is never good. He lowered his menu as he looked to his date.

"So, Miyako, mind telling me a bit about yourself?" The girl smiled as she lowered her menu in response.

"Well, I'm 15." Began Miyako. "I live in Cityville… I go to Sequoia High and I work part time at an animal clinic." Mikey's eyes widened in interest.

"Really? That's awesome! What kinda work do you do there?" Miyako pulled a small picture of her with a small kitten in her arms. Mikey couldn't help but coo at how cute the creature was.

"I mostly do office work and keep the register, but I also help out whenever they need me. That was from the day they asked me to keep a kitten warm while her mother underwent surgery." Miyako frowned in sadness as she put the image away. "Some jerk thought it would be funny to hit his neighbor's cat with a pellet gun." Mikey let out a small growl as he frowned.

"People like that are the worst. It doesn't even matter that the cat was owned or not to him." Miyako nodded as she looked down at the breadsticks. Realizing where the situation was going, Mikey tried to think of something. He smiled as he grabbed a napkin from the nearby stack.

He worked with it under the table, folding it into a paper duck. Miyako looked to him in confusion as he finished his work. He grinned as he placed his prop on the table. "Tada! Quack, quack!"

The duck's beak moved as Mikey made it walk around. He really hoped this would work as he looked to his date. She suddenly burst into laughter as the duck continued to move about.

"Mikey-kun! How did you make that so fast?" Mikey smiled as he pulled out another napkin from the stack.

"I could show you if you want. It's not that hard when you see the steps." His date nodded giddily as she received the paper. They spent a short amount of time working on the origami ducks. Unknown to them, three particular turtles were watching them from above.

Leo was currently knelt over with binoculars to his face. He had a black ridge on top of his head, which appeared to be the base of his hair. His shell appeared to have some blue patterning reminiscent of the clouds on his kimono, his gi pants remained on his person, and his shoes had stretched to accommodate his feet. He hummed as he zoomed in on his brother and his date. He nodded his head in approval as he smiled.

"So far so good." Stated Leo. "Mikey hasn't made her really upset yet, but it looks like he's hitting some hard subjects. I think he's got good chances." Raph could be seen resting against the wall of a stairwell, annoyed by their presence at the restaurant. He sighed as he stepped out into the light.

Much like Leo he seemed to have a change in his mutant appearance. He had red striping on his face where his bandana would usually be and dark red scales that poked up where his hair would be. His shell had bits of red on it while the front had the white star, his shorts also seemed to remain post transformation, and his sandals barely held his massive feet. He stopped beside Leo as he looked over the edge. He knelt over slightly to get a better view.

"Is there a reason that we're spying on his date?" asked the hothead. "We've been preparing him for this for a while now. I'm sure he'll be fine." Leo shook his head in response. Donnie cleared his throat, getting the duo's attention.

Once again the change in mutation reigned true. Donnie had purple striping near his eyes and some brown patches that represented his curls. His shirt turned to purple patches on the back of his shell, his jeans barely fit him, and his loafers also grew in size. He also once again wore the scientific goggles he had back at the lair, seeming to have forgotten about them. He pushed up on them as he looked the duo in the eye.

"Do you think it's a good idea to take that chance with our track record?" asked the smart turtle. He closed his eyes as he raised his finger. "For all we know one of our usual enemies or someone entirely new could come in and cause trouble. Having to bail out on a date is not a good sign for…" He earned a bop on the back of the head as Raph growled at him.

"Don't jinx it egghead! Never mention what could go wrong! Did all the other times someone did that not teach you anything?" Leo shushed the duo as he continued to watch over the area. Back in the restaurant, the server arrived with the duo's drinks as they finished up the origami lesson.

"Your drinks signor e signora (1)." Offered the waiter. The duo smiled as the man placed their drinks on the table. "Have you decided on what you would like to eat?" Mikey's eyes widened as he looked to the menu. He hadn't actually decided what he wanted yet.

"Um…" Mikey didn't know what to say as he looked through the menu. They didn't have pizza on the menu, so it was hard to decide. He chuckled nervously as he looked to Miyako. "What are you getting Miyako?"

"That's easy!" answered his date. "I'll have the Meatball Special with extra sauce. I love meatballs and the ones at Luigi's are always less spicy than most places." Mikey nodded as he looked over the menu. He handed the man his menu as he nodded his head.

"I think I'll try the Chicken Parmesan over angel hair pasta." Miyako sounded her interest as the waiter nodded his head. He wrote down the order before putting his pen away once more.

"Alright!" stated the man. "I'll have it right out for you two." The blondes nodded as they watched the man walk away. Miyako rested her head in her hands as she looked to Mikey.

"So what's your life like Mikey-kun?" asked the girl. "I told you a bit about me." Mikey grinned as he looked to her. He was thankful the guys walked him through what to say when asked about himself.

"I'm homeschooled and have lived in New York my whole life. My family doesn't really live in the best looking place, but we've never really needed anything crazy. I'm the youngest of four brothers and an older sister." Miyako blinked in surprise at that bit of information.

"That sounds like a big family! Your mother and father must have had their hands full." Mikey shook his head in denial, confusing his date.

"We've never really had a mom, at least not me and my brothers. Our sensei took us in as his adopted sons after he came to the US. We recently reunited with our adoptive sister, though I think I'll be calling her an in-law soon… if Leo could get a hint." Miyako couldn't help but giggle a bit at Mikey's words. She sat up straight as she looked to the boy.

"That was really sweet of him. I'm guessing Leo is one of your brothers." Mikey nodded his head in response, a fond grin on his face.

"Yep. Leo's the leader of us guys. Then there's Raph; he's the hothead. Donnie's the oldest of us by a few hours, and he's the resident genius of the team." Miyako smiled at him as she nodded.

"They sound like nice people. I sometimes wish I had a sibling or two to call my own. I don't think my parents are looking to have another child." Mikey shook his head in response to the notion.

"I'm sure you could ask them how they feel at some point. You can always talk to family about these things." Miyako shook her head in denial.

"It's not that simple. My parents work in another city far away. I've lived with my grandmother for a long time, and I only see my parents on holidays from time to time." Mikey sighed as he could see that her parents were another hard subject for his date. He smiled as he picked up his cup.

"Well they're missing out." Miyako looked to him, a confused look on her face. "They can't see how awesome you are every day like your grandma can. I'm sure they'd be proud of you if they could see how hard you work." The blonde girl blushed as she looked down, embarrassed by the boy's words.

Mikey chuckled after taking a sip of his drink. "If I can be honest, I'm wondering why you're in this service the longer I'm near you. I figured someone as awesome and cute as you would already have someone special with them." Miyako shook her head as she grinned.

"My life's a little complicated. I'm always on the go, one way or another, and can't guarantee that I'll always be around. That alone is a little off-putting for the guys at school. Plus, there aren't a lot of sweet boys in town." Mikey shook his head in disbelief.

"It can't be that bad. There's gotta be someone there that caught your attention." Miyako sighed as she shook her head. "If it's not a good subject you don't have to…" She quickly waved him off with a smile.

"No, you're good Mikey-kun. There was one guy that I liked back when I was younger. His name was Takaaki Ayagi. You actually have a lot in common with him." Mikey hummed as he rubbed his arm.

"How so? He didn't have four brothers did he?" Miyako chuckled as she shook her head.

"No! You have similar hair and eyes, plus you were both sweet goofballs. He was in the hospital for most of his life until he finally overcame his condition. We actually tried a relationship when we were old enough." Mikey nodded as he listened in on the story.

"What happened then? It sounds like you two were very close." Miyako sighed as she shook her head.

"His family decided to move back to their home in a far off city. They came to Cityville in order to have the best doctors working on his condition. We contemplated doing a long-distance relationship, but it didn't work out." Mikey sighed as he shook his head.

"I'm sorry. He sounded like a nice guy." Miyako smiled endearingly as she shook her head.

"I'm over it now. We're still friends and I even got to meet his new girlfriend over our last video call. Anyway, I joined the service because my friend Miyako needed someone she knew to take part in the service so she could have permission. I figured it would be a good chance to find someone who actually likes me for being me rather than how I look." Mikey smiled as he nodded his head.

"I kinda know how you feel, only in my case people usually don't stick around when they see me. I'm a prankster and I usually annoy everyone, even my brothers. I don't do any harmful pranks and I've let up a bit, but I think other people just don't find me appealing." Miyako had a sad look on her face as Mikey looked down at his hands. She smiled as she placed a hand on his.

"Well, if it counts, I think you're fun Mikey-kun. That's not to mention cute~." Mikey blushed a bit as he turned his hand to where their palms touched. Leo smiled as he watched his youngest brother. Raph suddenly swiped the binoculars from him, deciding to take a look for himself.

"Well look at that." Stated the hothead. "She's not too bad a looker. I guess that service really isn't a joke." Leo growled as he took the binoculars back, even more perturbed.

"I thought you were against coming out to make sure things turned out alright. You're the one stalking now." Donnie groaned as the duo once again got into one of their arguments. He looked over to the nearby roof, only to blink at what he saw. It looked like he and his brothers weren't the only ones spying tonight.

On another roof nearby stood a primate of some kind. He had green skin, black fur, and a massive brain appeared to be protruding from his head. He wore a blue suit with a purple cape, a black belt with a purple buckle, white boots and gloves, and a semi-plastic dome with purple rings covering his brain. He surprisingly had a good amount of strength, displayed by the fact that he had an oversized condor on his shoulder. He brought a finger to his ear, activating a communicator.

"Tiny, we have located Bubbles of the Powerpuff Girls." Declared the chimp. "She is alone with some sewer smelling boy. Time to show her the might of the apes and MOOOOJO JOJO!" Donnie frowned, quickly realizing that this was a super villain. He had just jinxed it big time earlier.

This also raised another point though. He had heard of these Powerpuff Girls before: the Heroes of Cityville. It actually made sense that this girl was one of them, though she really should have come disguised. None of this changed the fact that the villain before him was looking to interrupt his little bro's date. They had to do something, and fast. He turned to the guys just as Leo dropped the binoculars into a nearby pool.

"Look what you did Leo!" cried Raph, a little louder than he should have. Leo shushed Raph again, but it was already too late. Donnie looked over to see that the monkey and the bird were now looking directly at them. He waved at them, nervous about what the creatures would do. Both of them glared at him, an evil look in their eyes.

"Um… guys." Stated Donnie. "I think we might have…" The genius was suddenly sent flying back as the condor crashed into him. Raph and Leo looked on in surprise as the smart turtle was carried a bit into the air. He was soon released, sending him crashing against the roof.

"Donnie!" cried both turtles. Leo quickly held his hands up as he blocked a laser from a ray gun used by Mojo Jojo. He blocked a few more blasts before dodging to the side. Raph was about to go in for a punch, but he dodged just in time as the giant condor came sailing towards him. He growled as he grabbed the bird by the foot.

"No oversized vulture picks on my bros!" roared the red wearing turtle. "That's my job!" He was lifted off the ground by the behemoth, only to kick it in the chest. He then jumped on its back as he began to punch at its head. Mojo Jojo growled in anger as he shook his fist at the turtles.

"Foolish terrapins!" roared the primate. "You think you are a match for MOOOJO JO…" He was cut off as he had to duck, narrowly avoiding a shuriken thrown his way. "Hey!" Leo rushed forward with his blades at the ready.

"Sorry but monologues just aren't our style." Apologized the blue wearing turtle with a hint of sarcasm. Mojo Jojo had to run as Leo came crashing down with a slash of his katanas.

"Heads up Fearless Leader!" cried Raph. Leo looked up just in time to see that Raph was riding the giant condor towards him. "Could use a hand here!" The leader nodded as he readied for the attack. His brother jumped off just in time as he sliced the bird in half.

They both breathed a sigh of relief as the two halves of the bird fell on the ground. They soon heard clapping, turning towards Mojo Jojo. "Why are you clapping? We just cut your bird down to…" Leo held up his hand, stopping Raph as he noticed the look on the monkey's face.

"I should be thanking you, terrapins." Corrected the evil monkey. "You just gave me the advantage. You see, there's a reason her name is Multi-wing." The brothers paled as they heard the sound of shifting flesh behind them. They turned to find that there were now two condors, each of them half the size of the original.

"Alright guys." Groaned Donnie as he stood up. "I'm okay. Let's get this… WHAT THE HECK DID YOU TWO DO!?" The duo had no time to answer as the birds flew into battle once more.

Back on the ground, Mikey and Miyako were enjoying the meals they ordered. The mutant boy couldn't help but hum in delight as he chewed on the chicken in his mouth. He swallowed his food before letting out a whoop.

"This place is good!" cheered Mikey. "The sauce has to be the best part, no offense to the chicken and the pasta. The chicken is nice and savory while the pasta has just the right texture to bring the whole thing together. I wish I knew about this place sooner." Miyako chuckled as she shook her head.

"Sounds like you know your foods Mikey." Complimented the girl. "Do you like to cook?" The blonde local nodded in response.

"Yeah! I try all kinds of recipes, but I can only make pizza fairly well. Everything else turns out weird to the others. Well there was this one guy that liked the pizza smoothie I made." Miyako sounded her disgust, but the playfulness on her face told him it was meant as a joke.

"How do you even make one of those? I've personally never been a big fan of non-fruity smoothies." Mikey hummed to himself, filing that information for later. Soon the sound of the doors slamming open caught his attention. Mikey turned, only to blink at the sight of the individual that walked in.

A large gorilla with large bolts in place of ears stood tall and strong. The people began to freak out at the sight of the beast. The creature paid no mind to the noises as it scanned the area. Miyako gasped at the sight of the gorilla. "Tiny?"

The beast, its name revealed to be Tiny, looked over at the blondes' table. Its eyes seemed to narrow in anger and recognition at the sight of Mikey's date. It beat its chest a few times, letting out a howl before leaping into the air. Thinking fast, the youngest Hamato sibling leapt from his seat. He threw the object at the approaching beast, hitting it directly in the face before grabbing Miyako by the arm.

"Move!" He pulled her along as Tiny crashed into the table, slightly disoriented from the hit to the head. Mikey kept himself between his date and the beast as it rubbed its forehead. The ape looked towards him with a snarl as he grabbed a fire extinguisher. It roared as it limbered towards him, but he sprayed the retardant in its maw.

"Mikey! We have to move!" The mutant nodded in response before throwing the extinguisher at the beast's foot. Tiny hopped on one foot as it grabbed the offended ligament, quickly falling onto its rear. The duo ran into the back as the usual exit was swarmed with fleeing pedestrians.

They ran into the kitchen, watching as the staff were heading for the back door. "Over there!" They were about to run for it when Tiny burst through the wall, causing a large chunk of it to block the door. Mikey and Miyako were the only ones in the room as the massive ape blocked their only escape route. Mikey looked around for anything to use, only to notice some nearby knives.

"Hope you aren't upset with me after this!" The turtle in disguise grabbed the knives as Tiny rushed for him. He threw one of the objects, cutting into the ape's arm. The beast howled in pain as it grabbed the wounded arm. Mikey threw more of the knives, but Tiny grabbed a counter top and used it as a shield.

Miyako ran over to try and grab her date, only to have the counter top thrown at her. Mikey's eyes widened as he saw his date go flying into a wall. "Miyako! That does it!" The turtle boy couldn't control his transformation as his eyes glowed orange.

His skin turned green as his scales began to pop up from his human skin. His shell formed over his torso, his shirts becoming an orange and white patterning upon it. His pants stretched to max capacity at the waist as his shoes morphed to fit the new pair of feet in them. His hair receded into his scales as his head returned to normal, save for two small yellow crests. Orange striping appeared around his eyes as the light disappeared from them, completing the new look.

Tiny looked baffled by the change as the boy cracked his knuckles. "You interrupt my date, mess up a nice restaurant, and attack Miyako for no reason! You're about to get a taste of Turtle Power!" Mikey ran forward at surprising speed, crashing into the ape. He actually pushed it back into the dining area of the restaurant, slowing down as he punched it in the jaw.

Tiny roared as it prepared to attack, only for the turtle to slug it in the jaw. Mikey quickly grabbed the legs of a broken table and began to whack at the beast with them. He cartwheeled back to avoid a slam by the beast, sliding a bit across the wooden floor. He let out a battle cry of his own as he ran forward.

Back with the others, Raph let out a roar of his own as he tackled one of the Multi-wings into a nearby wall. He punched at its face a few times, only to receive scratches on his arm from its talons. He leapt back to avoid a peck to the eye. Leo was meanwhile seen holding down the other clone, unable to use his swords against it. He growled as he used one of his blades to block another laser blast from Mojo Jojo.

"Donnie!" cried the leader. "Any ideas? This ugly monkey and his bird won't let up!" Donnie ran at Mojo while twirling his staff, ready to strike at him. He came to a stop when a few laser shots reduced his weapon into a small stick in his hand.

"Currently working on it!" cried the turtle. "He looks fairly weak. If we can get a hit on him we might…" He moved to a nearby door as he dodged another laser. Mojo Jojo couldn't help but laugh at the crew's struggle.

"Foolish terrapins!" cackled the monkey. "You are too late! By now Tiny has already dealt with Bubbles of the Powerpuff Girls! The world will belong to MOOOJOOO…" The brothers looked to each other in shock.

"MIKEY!" cried the trio. Leo and Raph quickly grabbed the Multi-wing clones, spinning around with them in their grasp. Mojo Jojo growled in anger as he shook his fist.

"STOP INTERRUPTING MOJO JO…" His words died in his throat as the duo threw the birds at him. "Oh." The halves formed back into the one bird, just in time to crash into its master and send them both flying off the building. The brothers soon ran for the edge of the roof, hoping to be a help to their youngest member.

Down on the ground, Mikey panted as he held his arm. Across from him, Tiny also seemed to be out of breath. They had been trading blows for a while now, the turtle surprisingly faring better than the ape. Mikey growled as he threw the two table legs at Tiny, forcing the beast to catch them. He ran at it with the intent of bashing its head, only for the beast to drop its catch and pin him against a wall.

"Really Frankenkong?" questioned the turtle. "You need a breath mint." Tiny was about to punch, only to tilt its head in confusion. "You know, 'cause you look like Frankenstein's monster but as a gorilla." The ape was about to resume its attack when a blue blur suddenly rammed it away from the boy.

"Paws off my date!" roared Miyako, her eyes glowing blue. Mikey's eyes widened as he saw that his date had swapped to a blue dress with a black band around the midriff, a blue vest with white detailing, white leggings, and black Mary Jane shoes. She clenched her fists as she cracked her neck. Tiny roared as it leapt from its crashed spot, only to be sent flying by a punch from the blonde.

"M…Miyako? You have super powers?" Miyako smiled as she looked towards him.

"So do you, Mikey-kun? Let's talk about it later. Right now we need to stop Tiny. If we can undo the bolts just enough, he should become docile." Mikey nodded, only to leap forward.

"Look out!" He pushed the blonde out of the way just in time as a bench crashed where she was once flying. Mikey sighed in relief, only to realize that he was holding her close. He quickly released her as he stepped back. "S… sorry I…"

"It's fine, Mikey. Remember, lefty-loosie!" Mikey nodded as he and his date split up. Miyako quickly flew to clash with Tiny as the turtle tried to find an opening. The ape tried to headbutt her, but she kicked him in the gut before he could do so.

She quickly grabbed Tiny by the arm and pulled him into a pin. Mikey seized the opportunity as he hopped on the creature's back. He put his hands on the massive bolt as he turned it to the left.

"That's one!" Tiny moaned a bit as he used his free hand to grab his face. He growled as he suddenly span, throwing Miyako to the side and forcing Mikey to jump off. He roared as he pounded his chest, ready to continue his task. He stopped as he heard a yelling noise grow above him.

"GOONGALA!" roared Raph. Tiny looked up as the rest of the Hamato brothers came crashing down on him. Raph wrapped his arms around the ape's neck, Leo frantically held on to its arm, and Donnie was frantically trying to twist the second bolt.

"I think I almost got it!" cried Donnie. He tried to twist the bolt, only for Tiny to grab his face with its free hand and hold him in front of it. "WHAT IS IT WITH BIG CREATURES AND MY FACE!?" Mikey growled as he saw an opening to finish the job. Miyako moved before he could, quickly turning the second bolt.

"I got it!" cried the blonde. Tiny suddenly began to mellow out, its face turning dopey as it dropped Donnie on the ground. Raph let go of the ape's neck as it moved to all fours. This allowed Leo to plop off. Mikey ran over to the guys as they began to stand up.

"We did it!" cried the energetic turtle. "We stopped Tiny from destroying everything! How'd you guys get here so fast? I hadn't even called you yet." The brothers looked to each other, trying to come up with an excuse.

In a rare moment of perceptiveness, Mikey gasped in realization. "You guys were spying on my date! That's not cool guys! I can do these kind of things by myself!" Raph popped his back as he looked to his younger brother.

"Yeah." Chuckled the red wearing turtle. "Planet of the Apes over here was so easy to deal with." Donnie raised his finger in a "matter of fact" manner.

"Technically this is not normal by date standards." Interrupted the genius turtle. "The odds of being attacked on a date are actually very, very, very…" Donnie's rant was interrupted as Raph forced him into a noogie. Mikey groaned as he rubbed his temples, actually embarrassed by his brothers for a change. Miyako giggled as she pointed upwards.

"Let's see if I can take a guess." Began the blonde. The three brothers looked to her in confusion. "You're Raph." She immediately pointed to the abrasive turtle, Donnie still in his grip. He let the genius go as he chuckled.

"Got it in one." Answered Raph. Miyako grinned as she turned her attention away from the tough guy. She then pointed to Mikey as he rubbed his neck.

"You must be Donnie. Nice goggles by the way." The smart turtle chuckled as he nodded his head.

"Thanks." Replied Donnie. "My girlfriend got them for me." Mikey and Raph made kissy noises, causing him to growl at them. "Very mature guys." Miyako giggled once more as she turned her attention to Leo.

"That must mean that you're Leo. It's an honor to meet you." She entered a respectful bow, Leo doing the same.

"The honor is mine." Replied the traditional boy. "Of course we weren't expecting our little bro's date to be a superhero." Mikey's eyes widened as he clapped his hands together.

"You're a superhero!?" squeaked the childish turtle. "That's so awesome!" Miyako blushed a bit as she twirled her hair.

"Yep." Confirmed the bubbly girl. "I'm Bubbles of the Powerpuff Girls." She gasped as she remembered something. "That's right! We have to hurry!"

She turned to Leo as she frowned. "Wherever Tiny goes, Mojo Jojo isn't far behind!" The leader's eyes widened as he looked up.

"We left him on the roof with Multi-wing!" cried Leo. "And no, Mikey, we didn't name it." The goofy turtle still had an upset pout as he crossed his arms. Before anyone could move, a large object crashed into the ground. Before them stood a mech with a spherical body and crab-like legs, Mojo Jojo clearly visible in the cockpit.

"You may have bested Tiny, but you simple minded creatures can't grasp the true power of MOOOOJO JOJO!" roared the monkey. "Behold, the Spherical Powerpuff Ultimate Destroyer!" Most of the heroes growled as the mech unleashed two claw like arms, save for Mikey who tilted his head.

"Spherical Power…" mumbled the boy. "You named your mech SPUD? Like a potato?" Mojo Jojo paused as he thought over the name in his head. He sounded his realization as Raph began to laugh hysterically.

"Oh look out!" cried the hothead in false fear. He even waved his hands for effect. "He's going to fire french-fries at us! Hope they're salted!" The evil monkey roared as he took hold of his controls.

"We'll see whose laughing, disgusting terrapin mutant, when my machine turns you to ashes!" roared Mojo Jojo. He willed the claws to surge forward, the group narrowly dodging as they snapped shut. Bubbles kicked at the claw, only to be zapped by some kind of forcefield. "You can't get past my forcefield, foolish child!" Mikey growled as he grabbed a nearby armchair, the furniture awaiting the trash in the morning.

"Then try this on for size!" roared the normally goofy turtle. He lifted the object over his head before throwing it. It crashed into the forcefield, burning up and leaving ashes on the window of the cockpit.

"Gah! No fair! I never installed windshield wipers!" The ligaments of the mech tucked into the machine as it began to roll like a bowling ball. The brothers moved out of the way as the machine crashed into a nearby bus.

"Boy am I glad that bus has been there for months." Sighed Leo. He wasn't fond of the thought of civilians being hurt. He turned to the others as the mech began to rise. "We gotta think of something, fast!" Mikey climbed up to a balcony, only to stop as he noticed something.

"Hang on." Mumbled the boy. He watched as the limbs unfurled, allowing a piece of the machine to pop up. He watched as it powered on, a light shining over the entire machine. "I think that thing on its back is where the forcefield comes from! It pops in every time he rolls and out when he stops!"

This was proven right as a pigeon bopped into the glass of the mech, narrowly avoiding being electrocuted as the shield closed in on itself. The glow died down, appearing to disappear to the normal eye. Donnie grinned as he got an idea.

"If we can damage the power conduit enough, we could theoretically shut down the forcefield!" gasped the turtle. "Of course it could also have the opposite affect and cause the whole mech to explode." He was forced to leap back as Mojo Jojo tried to nab him. Raph grinned as he brought out one of his sais.

"All I heard was damage the pop out bit." Joked the hothead. "That sounds like a plan to me!" He ran towards the machine, sliding just in time to avoid being snatched by the other claw. He hoped up as he grabbed some shuriken, throwing them at the device. They managed to scrape a few visible wires, but he missed the overall mark.

"Brilliant deduction but it won't work!" roared Mojo Jojo as he suddenly turned towards Raph. Miyako tried to take advantage of this as she raced towards the mech's weak spot, only for Multi-wing to crash into her. Mikey growled as he saw the girl trying to keep the beast from shutting its beak on her neck. He looked around, trying to find something that would help in this situation. He smirked as he saw a large wire on the ground, a generator sitting next to it.

"Sorry whoever owns this." Apologized the goofy turtle. "We need this more than you right now." He grabbed the object as he prepared a noose with it. He swung the makeshift lasso a few times before tossing it at Multi-wing. Miyako thankfully pushed the beast back just in time, allowing the loop to hitch onto its closed beak.

Mikey leapt from the building, causing the wire to tighten as he swung like Spiderman. He cheered like a kid at a theme park as he found himself going back up into the air. He landed on the massive bird's back, pulling the wire as he forced the bird to fly wherever he directed. "Get along little… uh… chicken!" Miyako watched in awe as Mikey rode Multi-wing through the air, almost making it look natural.

Back on the ground, Raph continuously dodged strikes from the crab-like legs of the SPUD machine. He chuckled in success, only to be grasped in the claw of the machine. He cried out in pain as he was brought towards the glass of the machine.

"You would have to hit the conduit with more force than your little toys could ever muster. You are powerless against my machine!" Raph felt the electricity of the forcefield grow closer to him as he began to sweat. "All show bow before the awesome power of I: MOOOJOOO…!" Mikey finally forced Multi-wing to fly down as he got a wild look in his eye.

"GERONIMO!" Mojo Jojo didn't have time to respond to the cry as Mikey hopped off the bird. He used the remainder of the wire to tie down the monster's wings before rolling across the ground. The giant condor could not stop itself as it crashed into the power conduit of the forcefield. The machine wandered to the side as warning signs appeared on the window of the cockpit, the claw releasing Raph from its hold.

"NOOOO! MY MACHINE!" Mojo Jojo tried to reactivate the forcefield, but the conduit exploded and left a hole in the back of the mech. The villainous ape roared in anger as his machine was now completely exposed. Mikey grinned as he watched the machine turn towards him.

"Booyah! That's how we do things Ninja Turtle style! How ya like that Brainmonkey! Get it because…" Mojo Jojo growled as he pressed some buttons on his machine.

"YOU THINK YOU'VE WON!? I NEED NO FORCEFIELD TO DEFEAT MEASLY MUTANTS AND A LONE POWERPUFF GIRL!" As soon as he said finished his statement, multitudes of missile launchers and laser rifles popped out of spaces on the machine. Mikey's face went from confident to frightened as the evil monkey howled in laughter. "I WILL DESTROY YOU IF IT'S THE LAST THING I, MOOO…!"

Mojo Jojo was interrupted yet again as two streaks of color suddenly crashed into his mech. The machine nearly exploded as it was dented on both sides, leaving his weapons ineffective. Enraged boy being interrupted on multiple occasions, the monkey began to bawl like a child throwing a temper tantrum. "BLAST THIS CITY AND ITS FREAKS!" A gloved hand forced his cockpit open before another hand pulled him out.

"Looks like we got here just in time." Mentioned one of the voices. The turtles looked on in shock as two figures stood atop the destroyed SPUD mech. Raph blinked a few times as he looked to one of them in particular. They were clearly the other members of the Powerpuff Girls, having a similar costume design to Miyako.

The first was a girl with pink eyes, orange hair that was pulled back into a long pony tail, and a red bow that tied her hair back. Her outfit was like a pink version of Miyako's, only there was a lack of leggings and she wore red boots with white cuffs. The other girl, who had Raph's attention, had short black hair and green eyes. Her version of the outfit consisted of a green shirt with the same black stripe, a green version of the vest the other girls wore, black cargo shorts, and brown boots. Miyako couldn't help but smile as she flew up to her teammates.

"Thanks for getting here on such short notice girls!" cheered the blonde. "I know you had a date Momoko, but if it weren't for the guys I would be in a lot of trouble." The redhead sighed as she shook her head.

"You weren't interrupting anything major." Reassured Momoko. "My date, a guy named Casey, was too busy trying to show off rather than actually try to have fun. He was all guy talk and no romance. Honestly it's no wonder he needs a dating service to…" The tomboy of the group held up her hands as she interrupted the duo.

"Hold it!" cried the girl. "Guys? What guys are you talking about?" Miyako smiled as she looked back to the turtles. Mikey grinned as he cleared his throat.

"Ladies!" greeted the goofy turtle. The two newcomers looked to the guys, shocked by their appearance. "Welcome to New York! We are the city's secret defenders!" His brothers groaned, realizing what was coming.

Mikey gestured to Leo as he began his introductions. "In the blue over there is our fearless leader, Leonardo!" The called out turtle smiled as he bowed respectfully. "Over in the purple is Donatello: our resident tech genius that is, technically, a genius." Miyako giggled as Donnie sent Mikey a deadpan look.

"We agreed you wouldn't call me that." Groaned the smart turtle. "It feels so demeaning." Mikey ignored him in favor of gesturing to Raph.

"Raphael over here in red is the muscle of the group. Don't let his looks full you! He's a big cuddly teddy bear… if teddy bears were incredibly violent." Raph growled as he clenched his knuckles, earning a chuckle from the green puff. "And I'm Michelangelo: best pizza chef in all of New York; master of nunchaku; and, obviously, a dazzling personality." Raph nabbed the boy in a headlock as he proceeded to noogie him.

"I'll show you who's a teddy bear." Growled the violent turtle. He ignored Mikey's cries of "Uncle" as he continued to rub the boy's head. They soon heard the sound of sirens approaching, causing the boys to panic.

"Well looks like we need to bounce for a bit." Stated Leo. He pointed to a nearby building that was far from the scene. "When you get these guys turned over, meet us on that building. We can swap stories there." The girls nodded in understanding, Miyako looking sad as she saw Mikey's glum face.

Soon the guys were waiting on the roof, sitting around in their human forms. Each of them was doing their own thing while the girls were finishing up their report down below. Leo appeared to be meditating, Raph was shadow boxing, Donnie was cleaning his glasses with his handkerchief, and Mikey was leaning over the wall of the roof. The blonde sighed as he looked out over the city. He took a glance back at his brothers.

"Do you guys… think this date has been ruined?" asked the normally goofy turtle. The others looked to him, clearly waiting for some clarification. "I mean… I get she's a superhero but I transformed in front of her and bad guys attacked us. I'm worried that she won't like the real me." Donnie looked like he was about to say something, but Raph held up his hand.

"Look, Mikey, no one can be prepared for a sudden villain attack." Began the normally rough turtle. "It may have put a sour mood on this date, but you can still turn it around if this girl is still interested in ya. If she doesn't like you for being you, then she obviously wasn't worth it in the first place. You can always move on with the other dates or just drop the service all together." Mikey seemed to be contemplating it as he looked down.

"Not that he's saying you should stop doing the service." Clarified Leo. The leader soon joined the duo as he stood on the other side of Mikey. "One bad date isn't the end of everything. Why do you think they do this as a month of dates." Donnie also walked over, putting his handkerchief back in the assigned pocket.

"Not everyone can find their love at first sight like I did with April." Stated the purple turtle. "Even then it took a long time for me to actually get the girl. These things just take time. Besides, she was talking good about you to her sisters." Mikey nodded as he looked back to the battlefield they had fought Mojo Jojo on.

Three stripes of color soon took off into distance, away from the group. Mikey looked down in defeat, only to hear the sound of something flying closer. He resumed his attention forward as he saw the lights make a turn towards the building. The girls soon came to a stop as they reached the building. Miyako also had a smile on her face, only for Momoko to suddenly pop in front of her.

"Hey there handsome!" cried the redhead. She suddenly flew in front of Leo, causing the boy to take a few steps back. "I'm Blossom of the Powerpuff Girls. You wouldn't happen to have seen some talking turtles around here have you?" Leo tried to find a way to explain the situation, only for Miyako to hold up her finger.

"Momoko, these are the Turtles." Informed the blonde. Mikey tried not to laugh as the redhead suddenly leapt back a bit, surprised by the reveal. Leo chuckled as he nodded his head.

"Thanks for the compliment, Momoko, but I'm happily taken." Informed the leader of the brothers. Realizing her mistake and the truth, the leader of the girls slumped forward in defeat. The tomboy of the Powerpuff Girls landed on the roof as she stretched a bit. She looked over, noticing Raph at the same time he looked towards her. She grinned as she looked him up and down.

"See something you like, Big Red?" asked the green girl. Raph grinned a bit, actually liking the girl's boldness. He cracked his neck before nodding his head.

"Yep." Confirmed the hothead. "I don't think you've been introduced yet, Greenie." The tomboy growled a bit in anger, only to smirk as she crossed her arms.

"'Cause I can introduce myself. Folks back home call me Buttercup when I'm in uniform. Normally, though, I just go by Kaoru. Also, shouldn't I be calling you Greenie since you're the one whose skin turns green?" Raph hummed as he tilted his head.

"Maybe. That's up to you, though Big Red doesn't sound too bad." Kaoru smirked as she continued to conversate with the hothead. Donnie looked between the two, almost as if they were speaking some alien language. He rubbed his fingers in his hair as he tried to think.

"Oh my gosh." Groaned the genius. "There's a girl Raph and they're interested in each other. It's my worst nightmare." He felt a sudden pressure as he looked back to the duo. It was obvious by their blushes and scowls that they heard him.

"What did you just say!?" yelled the duo. They quickly jumped the genius, causing him to cry out for aide. Leo and Momoko quickly ran over to try and sort out the mess. Keyword being "try" as the hotheaded duo refused to let up their assault. Mikey elected to ignore the chaos as he walked over to the patiently awaiting Miyako.

"So… what's your story?" asked the goofy boy. "Were you born with these powers or…?" Miyako chuckled as she shook her head.

"Not really." Answered the girl. "To make a long story short, the professor we work with and his son were trying to stop a freak weather phenomenon. They used an experimental chemical, but it had the side affect on almost everything in town. It's those rays that gave us our powers, but it also powered up our enemies. Eventually the powers couldn't be removed, so we had to grow with them and learned to adapt."

Mikey nodded, understanding how strange stories can be very true. In fact, his family's own origins were out there. Miyako leaned forward, an inquisitive look on her face. "So, how did you guys become Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles?" The goofy boy's eyes widened as he grinned.

"First off, I'm totally gonna milk that title until we become adults." His date giggled at his goofiness, prompting him to continue. "Second, to be honest we started out as turtles. Master Splinter, that's what we call our adoptive dad, had just gotten us from a pet store when he came across some shady guys moving a green chemical. He was forced to fight them, but the mutagen hit him and us."

Miyako nodded her head, listening very intently to the story. "He came from a ninja clan, so he raised us in the ways of the shinobi. He focused more on making us silent guardians than the typical assassins that ninjas are known for. Eventually we grew old enough and became defenders of the city." His date nodded her head as she put a finger to her chin.

"That still doesn't explain the human form. When did that happen?" Mikey sighed as he shook his head.

"Being completely honest, that's a recent development. I once had a relationship with a time traveler, which I guess makes it very long distance. A few months ago, she broke off our relationship for time travel reasons. I kind of fell into a depression for a long time." Miyako frowned sadly as she rubbed the turtle on the shoulder.

"I'm sorry you had to go through that. You can't even see her again like I can with Takaaki." Mikey smiled softly as he nodded his head.

"Thanks for the comfort but, like you, I've sorta been getting over it. Anyway, my adoptive sister had a different mutation from ours. It allowed her to swap between her human form and her mutant form. The guys snuck out to find the chemical that was different in hers, which earned them quite the grounding."

Miyako smiled as the boy chuckled at that part of the story. "Anyway, the chemical allowed Splinter to return to human form. Surprisingly it also gave us human bodies, along with changing our mutant forms to be very adaptable. I'm still trying to understand how most of our clothes morph with our bodies." The blonde grinned as she got an idea.

"It kinda sounds like some kind of superhero, magical guy kind of thing. It's best not to think about it." Mikey nodded as he voiced his understanding.

"Good point. Anyways, I joined the service not long after getting my new half. I wanted to find the one instead of moping around in sadness all the time. Trust me when I say that it's not a good look on me." Miyako nodded with a bit of a giggle.

The turtle sighed as he rubbed the back of his head. "Sorry the date was totally messed up. You're probably looking for a guy that was human in the first place. It's honestly been…" Miyako held up her hands in an interrupting manner.

"Hold off on that, silly Mikey. Being a regular guy or a mutant turtle doesn't matter to me. You've shown me all night that you are sweet, caring, and the goofiest guy I ever met. Plus you stood up for yourself and me during the entire fight. For a first date, you're already so much that I've been hoping for in a good guy."

Mikey couldn't help the grin that appeared on his face, nor the huge blush that came with it. He hadn't messed up the date, not in the slightest. A soft growling could be heard between the duo, Miyako giggling as she held her stomach. "I kind of wish we could have finished out meals though." The goofy boy suddenly got an idea as he looked back to the others.

"Well… I know a place that's nearby. We could always let the others socialize and go there. The owner's a blind man who runs the store by himself. He's a friend of ours and he makes the best pizza gyoza." Miyako hummed at the name of the food item, mulling it over in her head.

"Alright. I'm always happy to support someone beating the odds like that. Plus now you've got me curious." Mikey grinned as he swapped to turtle form, leading the way as his date flew behind him. The others barely noticed that they had left by the time they were nearly at the promised destination.

They soon made their way down to the street, Mikey turning back to his human form. "Tada! 24/7! You pay for the meal at the vending machine, then take it in to Mr. Murakami." Miyako nodded her head, getting into the spirit as she followed the boy along.

"If you don't mind, I think I'll get some miso ramen in case I don't like the Pizza Gyoza. I'm always up for new things but I like to be safe rather than sorry." Mikey smiled as he nodded his head.

"No one's stopping you. This is my treat since this isn't covered by the service. I remember April, Donnie's girlfriend, saying that the guy usually pays for dinner if the date is going well." His date couldn't help but smile as she watched him work the machine. He opened the door, smiling as he saw the place was empty at this hour.

"If Donatello and April had not come here a few weeks ago, I would not have known to check your smell my friend." Stated Mr. Murakami as he continued to look away from the duo. He turned to them, revealing to Miyako that he was well and truly blind. The girl was shocked to say the least, but she reeled in her reaction as she smiled at the old man. "I do not recognize your lady friend, however." Mikey chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.

"I recently joined a dating service trying to find a good girlfriend. This is my first date, Miyako." The blonde girl bowed respectfully to the man.

"It's nice to meet you, Murakami-san." Greeted Miyako. "Mikey said you're a very skilled chef. I'm looking forward to the meal." The man smiled at the girl's praise. He took the shakers from Mikey, shaking each near his ear individually.

"Such a polite young lady." Commented the old chef. "I shall do my upmost best to meet the praise. Please have a seat." The duo nodded as they sat at the counter. Mr. Murakami quickly got to work as he cooked at a fast pace. Miyako's eyes widened in amazement as he didn't even move his head in the direction of where he was looking.

The man quickly finished Miyako's miso ramen, delivering it first before getting to work on the pizza gyoza. The girl decided to go ahead and try a bite of the noodles in front of her. She moaned in delight as she finished chewing the meal.

"This is incredible! It's nice when you find small places like this with great quality." Mikey grinned as he nodded his head.

"Yep!" agreed the boy. "Murakami's is one of the hidden gems of New York. Now that I can be out a lot, I'll definitely be doing my best to make sure he gets the recognition he deserves." Mr. Murakami chuckled as he put the finishing touches on the pizza gyoza. The duo looked to him as he put the final noodle together.

"I need no great fame or fortune for what I do, young Michelangelo." Corrected the blind man. "I do what I do to make a living and enjoy the happiness my cooking gives my customers. If I can make even just one customer's day that much brighter, then I've succeeded. Case in point…" The chef brought over a wooden plate with the promised pizza gyoza on it.

"Oh yeah! Pizza gyoza!" The boy quickly took a bite of on of the noodles, nearly melting in his seat from joy. "You've done it again Mr. Murakami!" The chef nodded happily as he went about cleaning his work station.

Mikey quickly came back to his senses as he gestured to his plate. "Try one. They're really delicious!" Miyako smiled as she saw the grin on the boy's face. She quickly accepted as she plucked one of the noodles from the platter.

As soon as she took a bite, an avalanche of flavor hit her tongue. She felt like a well of energy filler her senses as she slowly chewed the food. "Just take a deep breath. And… release." Miyako sighed happily as she slumped a bit in her chair.

"This is so good! You wouldn't think pizza would go well mixed with a Chinese dish, but this is perfect! I could come back to New York just to eat at this restaurant again." Mikey nodded, happy that he could recover this date some. Soon it started to get late as the duo walked out of the restaurant.

Miyako sighed happily as she held her hands behind her back. "Today was amazing, Mikey-kun. I wish it could last longer, but my curfew is approaching. New Townsville is a long flight away, even for me." Mikey smiled as he nodded his head.

"I understand. I have to get back and rate our date anyways. I hope you have good luck with the service. Hopefully they won't all involve a super villain fight." Miyako chuckled as she nodded her head.

"I hope the same for you, on both fronts. Oh, and Mikey…" The boy didn't have time to respond as the girl kissed him on the cheek. "Thanks for the best date of my life." She left him at that, quickly taking off into the night sky.

Mikey touched at his cheek, his eyes bugging in shock. He felt a fire grow inside of him as his smile turned into a goofy grin. He let out a whooping cheer as he backflipped onto a nearby balcony. He made his way to the rooftops, running faster than he ever had before. He could only hope the rest of the month would be just as amazing as this night.

Next time on The Many Dates of a Ninja Turtle

No Big Deal

That's another chapter done and over with. I have to say that I did not expect this one to take as long as it did to update. Then again writer's block can hit like a truck. I hope I've surpassed it to where I can reliably update its story during its dedicated months. I most likely won't be updating it until said allotted time comes about.

Anyway, what did you think about the chapter? Were you able to guess who Mikey's date would be? How about the team up with the Powerpuff Girls? Who's the next girl he'll be going out with? Let me know what you think in a review or comment down below.

I'm also open to more date suggestions as I love hearing your ideas. I'm always willing to hear them out and who knows? Maybe one of your suggestions will replace one of my planned dates. Anyway, that's all for now. This is Inkaliber, signing out.
