Welcome back guys! I've got another chapter, piping hot and ready for ya! The dates have been growing more interesting as time goes on, even if the last one wasn't so grand. Time to see what Mikey has in store for him next! First, however, let's answer some reviews!

UltimateAvengers: Lol. You wouldn't be wrong there.

Quiet Reader: I can see what you mean there. She definitely wasn't a good match up. Mikey is definitely getting some power of his own to keep up with some of the crazy stuff he'll have to go through. I mean there aren't many Sasha's in animation from what I know. Time to see if you're right or not.

Mace: Glad to see ya, Mace! It'll definitely be a reality-trip for them to find that out. I did make it obvious that he had no idea about this new power of his.

That should be everyone, so let's get this party started! I don't own TMNT or any of the series that show up here. I do own original characters, items, concepts, and other such whatnot.

September 4, 2012

New York City, New York

Donnie could be seen working on some blood samples from the gnome that Mikey brought in two days prior. The creature was rather compliant after Splinter and Raph terrorized it into holding its tongue. No one threw around those kinds of insults around this family, especially not towards Mikey. The genius hummed as he looked over the samples, finding that they were close to human in appearance. He looked to Jeff, who was huddled into the corner of his cage.

"Seems like you're definitely close enough to human." Began Donnie. "Kinda leads me to some bad conclusions on what you and your allies were planning on doing to that Mabel girl. If you were human, you'd find yourselves with several years of jail time. I don't think I'll be letting you go anytime soon." The gnome shivered as he shook his head.

"J…just keep me away from those two maniacs." Begged Jeff. "I don't want to be in their hands ever again. I nearly died three times. THREE TIMES!" Donnie sighed, annoyed at the creature's yelling. He heard the sound of a large amount of wind blowing through the sewers, causing him to turn to his lab door.

"I'M-BACK-DUDES!" cheered Mikey, talking at an unbelievable speed. The wind seemed to die down as the sound of footsteps filled the area, accompanied by the sound of electricity. Donnie walked towards his lab door, quickly pushing it open.

"Welcome back Mikey." Greeted the genius. "Did something exciting happen? You're talking really fast. Also, where did you say you found…" Donnie stopped in his tracks, his eyes nearly bulging out of his skull.

"YOU-ALLRIGHT-D? YOU-LOOK-LIKE-YOU-SAW-A-GHOST-OR-SOMETHING." Donnie suddenly let out an alarming cry as he jumped back two feet.

"Mikey!? WHAT THE SHELL HAPPENED!?" Leo and Raph soon ran into the room, having been in their human forms.

"What's going on!?" questioned Leo. "Is everything…" The two remaining brothers skidded to a halt as they caught sight of their goofy sibling.

"DUDES! I-THINK-SOMETHING'S-WRONG-WITH-DONNIE! HE'S-TOTALLY-SLOWED-DOWN-OR-SOMETHING!" The orange wearing turtle soon realized that the rival duo was also looking at him the same way as the aforementioned genius. As he began to process this fact, the world seemed to slow down for the viewers.

To the turtle, everyone was moving at a very slow speed. "Oh no! You guys are slowed down too!?" Raph rubbed his eyes a few times before feeling his adrenaline rise. He slowly brought his hands to his head, as if trying to process everything.

"Fiiiirst aaa daaate wiiithhh aaa suuupeeerheero." Mumbled the hothead to himself. "Theeen heee geeets aaa kissss onnn theee lipsss. Neeext, heee briiingsss hooome aaa gaaardeeen gnooome, aaand nowww thisss!? Iii shouuuld haaave joiiineddd thaaat daaatinggg seeerviccce myyyseeelf!" Splinter and Karai walked into the room, the girl having arrived sometime after Mikey's departure.

Mikey became even more concerned as they were both moving rather slow themselves. They finally came to a stop as they looked around the room. They then looked his way, only to become the next to gawk in disbelief.

"Myyy sonnn… isss thaaat youuu?" questioned Splinter. "Whaaat onnn eaaarthhh happppeneeeddd?" Karai shook her head, clearly in disbelief.

"Youuu looook liiikeee aaannn oooraaanggge llliiightttbuuulllb." Added the normally cool girl. Mikey frowned in confusion, deciding to wave his hand in front of the group. To his shock, no pun intended, orange lightning was coming off his hand with each movement. He looked down at his body, finding more of the lightning. He grabbed his head as he tried to process everything.

"What's happening to me dudes!?" cried the goofy turtle. "First things slow down and now I'm a freaking thunder boy!" Donnie slowly walked forward as his brother tried to calm down.

"Iiitsss oookaaay Miiikeeey." Reassured the genius. "Weee'llll geeet tooo theee booottooom ooof thiiis. Tryyy tooo calm down. Let's get you to the lab and…" The lightning suddenly stopped as Mikey looked up, finding everything was back to normal.

"Guys! Everything's back to normal!" Everyone smiled at the boy, only for their eyes to widen as he stood up straight.

"WHAT THEEE SHEEELLLL!?" cried Raph, slowing down again for Mikey. "HOOOWWW IIISSS THIIISSS EEEVVVEEENNN FFFAAAIIIRRR!?" The turtle furrowed his brow, more surprised by his brother's reaction than the return of the slow down.

He walked over, doing his best to calm down again in the process. He stopped in front of the mirror, only to gain his own look of shock. There was a subtle increase in the boy's physique, abs being visible through his plastron. His legs showed the most improvement, the lightning showing off the musculature. Even his tail, which normally wasn't visible, was longer and thicker.

He turned around, able to look behind him to see that his shell had gained a more noticeable ridge to its edges. There also looked to be an orange mist pattern detailed upon it. He turned back into his human form, noticing that his hair had some white highlighting to its ends. He pulled up his t-shirt, revealing the full tone of his abs. The blonde's eyes sparkled as he suddenly bolted back into the lair.

"DUDES!" cried Mikey. "I'm ripped! I'm not Crognard ripped, but I've got gains! That invisible dragon rules!" The others continued to look at him like he grew a second head.

"Invisible WHAT!?" questioned Donnie. "How did you meet an invisible dragon!?" Splinter quickly composed himself as he stood firm.

"Perhaps it would be best if you explained everything to us, Michelangelo." Suggested the ninja master. "Explain everything in detail." Mikey tried to calm himself down as he nodded.

"So, I get to the restaurant and meet DeeDee there." Began the blonde. "Let me tell you, she was by far the dumbest person I have ever met. She had the mind of a child or something. She even made me feel smart, and you guys are always talking about how I ain't the smartest turtle." His siblings winced, obviously discomforted by the thought of someone that dumb.

"That… does change my outlook on reality." Muttered Donnie. "I've never met a person that dumb." Mikey gestured to him with a look of exasperation.

"Exactly! She couldn't even tell which side of the door opened which way. I had to open the same door for her TWICE! I also had to promise her ice cream to get her to leave instead of playing in the kiddie maze, which I could tell was about to get some mothers in the room very angry." Even Splinter showed discomfort at the girl's lack of intelligence.

Mikey decided to continue as he brought his hands together. "I had to watch over her all day while trying to find some way to salvage the date. She used her real name for her profile, she implied several times that she might not have even had permission to be in the service, and one time she mentioned how she should have been in school. Finally, I got a toy phone from her that had a phone number written on a note in it." Leo sighed, happy by this part of the story.

"So, you called her parents, and they called the police." Assumed the raven-haired boy. "Sounds like everything turned out okay." Mikey shook his head in denial.

"Not even close bro. It was her brother's phone number. He was mad that she did all of this and told me he'd come get her before hanging up. I had to make sure she didn't do anything stupid, including walking straight into heavy traffic! She was in more of her own world than Mabel was, which I'm hoping isn't just a California girl thing."

His family continued to feel bad for him, watching as he tried to control his breathing. "That wasn't the worst part. We happened upon the Kraang loading some tech into a van. They were talking about taking the stuff to a secret location for some project." Raph growled as he cracked his neck.

"I knew something weird was going on!" roared the redhead. "They've been awfully quiet lately. Looks like they need another shell bashing. I've got just the sais to give it to them." Donnie decided to interrupt as he stepped forward.

"Did they say anything about where it might be?" questioned the genius. "Any clues that could help us find them." Mikey shook his head in denial.

"With DeeDee around, I didn't plan on sticking around to find out." Revealed the blonde. "I was about to take her and leave, when she suddenly waltzed up to them asking about an ice cream place I was taking her to!" The others blinked, unable to find the right words to say.

"That… that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard!" cried Karai. Her eyes became slitted like those of a snake as she grabbed the sides of her head. "A teenager who can't tell when a situation like that is dangerous, much less talk to dangerous looking men, shouldn't be out on her own at all! Please tell me she got the message really quick." Mikey sighed as he slumped forward.

"They threatened that they were going to kill her, in their usual Kraang-y lingo, and she just took it as a sign that they didn't know and began to walk away. They were about to keep their word when the lead Kraang was bit clean in half. I'm talking the only thing remaining of the mech suit was the legs. The second was stomped on by an invisible foot, with a very obvious splat." The others looked mortified by the thought of a massive invisible predator roaming the streets of New York.

The blonde picked up a ball in his hand, as if to set an example. "The last Kraang tried to take the truck and run, only for the big guy to pick the whole thing up. Then the truck and everything in it, basically ceased to exist." He dropped the ball on the ground, bringing his hand back up and making whooshing sounds for reference. Donnie looked like his head was going to explode as he shook like a leaf.

"Stop existing?" questioned the genius. "STOP EXIIISTIIINGGG!? HOOOW DOOOESSS SSSOMMMETHHHINGGG JUUUSSST SUUUDDENNNLYYY NNNOOOT EEEXIIISSST AAANNNYMOOORE!? IIIT HAAAD TOOO BEEE SOOOMMME FOOORMMM OOOF TEEELEEEPOOORTAAATIIIONNN OOORRR SOOOMMMETHHHIIINGGG!" Mikey took some deep breaths, calming himself as he turned off the power again.

"I'm just describing it as I saw it dude. Looking back now, I think all evidence of the Kraang and the big guy being there just disappeared as if they were never there. Anyway, this giant hand suddenly popped up and gave me a thumbs up. Then a massive dragon head popped up and shushed me. I felt a need to get DeeDee out of there and get her to the ice cream shop."

Not seeing any signs of further interruptions, nor signs of being sped up again, the blonde decided to finish strong. "We got to the place, and I think she used her dad's card to pay for the ice cream. Her brother, who's definitely our age, came riding in on this floating vehicle. You would have freaked out if you saw it, Donnie. He then apologized for DeeDee's actions and took back the toy phone, which apparently had a tracking device on it."

Mikey took a moment to breathe as he rubbed his head. "On my way to the nearest sewer pipe, the invisible dragon returned and picked me up. He said he was gonna reward me for being good to his favorite person. Next thing I know I'm back where I met DeeDee, and the big guy flies off. I decided to just come straight back to get the day over with."

The boy removed his hand from his head as he looked over his family. "Anyway, I'm rating that horrible date at a 1. I have never had such a terrible day in my life. Hopefully her folks can pull her out and get some of their money back." Splinter decided to be the one to speak up, having collected his thoughts.

"The only thing I can be certain of is that this creature must have been some form of powerful yokai." Theorized the rat man. "It is likely that this creature has set itself to guarding this child, hence why it acted in her defense. It is also clear that your newfound ability is a result of its incredible power. I suspect the Kraang and the evidence were whisked away to a realm this spirit resides in." Leo nodded, still holding the shocked look on his face.

"It's the only explanation we've got." Agreed the lead turtle. He sent a sad frown at Mikey. "Still, I'm sorry you had to go through all of that. Go rate the date, then we'll decide on what to do about all of this." Mikey nodded his head in agreement.

"Good idea." Agreed the blonde. "I think I might just take that allowed break after what I just went through." Mikey went to open his door, only to bump head first into it and burn it slightly with the orange electricity. "MY-BAD!" Raph shifted over to Leo with a concerned look on his face.

"Maybe we should watch over his dates more often if stuff like this is gonna keep happening." Suggested the hothead. "I mean, he meets a spirit dragon that makes him super-fast and buff, and I get to beat up a smart mouthed gnome. That seems like a heck of a lot." Leo nodded, agreeing with his brother's sentiment. They heard some shuffling as Mikey returned at high speed.

"I'm definitely taking that break." Revealed the goofball as he calmed down again. "I nearly broke my computer trying to press some keys. I put it in before the system could decide on my next date, so I've got four days to learn to control this stuff. I don't wanna accidentally hurt whatever girl I go out with." Splinter nodded, allowing a smile to finally appear on his face.

"A wise decision, Michelangelo." Accepted the rodent. "I believe it would be best to remain on standby and work on honing your strength. I also suggest meditation in order to reign in that wild energy." Mikey nodded as he looked to his hands He looked up, only to realize that Casey and April had been gawking at him the whole time.

"WHAAAT THEEE SSSHEEELLLL!" cried Casey. It was clear to Mikey that his powers had activated again. "MIIIKEYYY'SSS RIIIPPPPEDDD AAANNND COOOVVVERRREDDD IIINNN LLLIIIGHTTTNIIINNNGGG!" The blonde sighed as he shook his head. This was going to be a long break.

September 8th

Four days came and went, each one seeing Mikey be put through intense training. Each day he'd work with Splinter so that he could control when he'd use his incredible speed. It made the blonde wonder if this was how the Flash or other speed-based heroes had to learn control when they got their powers. He kind of felt like a Shonen protagonist going through an off-screen training arc. He even decided to wear sweat clothes that intensified that thought in his own mind.

Over the course of time, Casey had some more dates of his own. On the day Mikey got his powers he met a girl named Gwen that he met at a fancy restaurant, though he seemed too much like someone she knew so it kinda fell through. Then there was a girl named Creed who was kind of a jerk and had something against kids. This was followed up by a girl named Ellie who Casey thought was more Mikey's kind of girl. Just yesterday he had a date with a girl named Trixie who was local, actually having a fun time with her.

On this day Casey was having his eighth date, who he was actually having a good feeling about. The way he described her, it was probably going to be another good matchup. The others gave the boy encouragement before he left last night. They had yet to hear from him or April, though it was rather early in the morning. All they could do was wait until later tonight.

Moving back to the turtle of the hour, Mikey could be seen gently holding an egg in his hand. At this point the exercise became second nature, meaning he was back to being able to do things like normally. He then cracked the egg in half in order to dump it into a bowl with a few more eggs. He then gently used scissors to cut open a flour bag before pouring the powder into the bowl. Master Splinter walked into the room, a small smile on his currently human face.

"It seems you have gained control of your newfound speed, my son." Complimented the master ninja. "You have come so far in a matter of days." Mikey grinned as he continued to whisk at the bowl. He used a bit of his strength to make the mixing faster yet moved the bowl around in a way that it didn't make too much of a mess. Raph walked into the room, moving rather slowly.

"Yyyoouuu beeetteeerrr nnnooot meeesss…" began Raph, seeming to be slowed. Mikey couldn't help but laugh as he shook his head. He gestured to Splinter, who was moving normally.

"Nice try, but I'm not falling for the talking trick." Revealed the goofball. He poured the complete mixture into a pan as he ignored Raph's new frown, the stove already heated up. "This is like my dance dodging. I can control my speed while completely unfocused." Raph smirked as he noticed something.

"So you can get to the bacon before it and the pancake burns?" questioned the hothead. Mikey suddenly gasped as he ran over to the oven, quickly pulling out a tray. Some bacon was prepared on it, a bit crispy from the added exposure. He quickly returned to the pan, having enough time to flip the pancake to the other side. He began to make more as Donnie came in with a timer.

"You took care of that in under thirty seconds." Calculated the genius. "I think it's safe to say that Mikey is actually ready to get back on the dating scene." The blonde grinned as he continued his work.

"After breakfast I'll be getting ready for my next date." Revealed Mikey. "It'll probably be happening tonight, so I'll be back at a later time." The trio nodded in understanding. Mikey soon began distributing plates of bacon and pancakes at each seat of the table. Leo soon joined them, a smile on his face.

"Good morning everyone." Greeted the leader. "Breakfast smells delicious." He soon took a seat at the table before digging into the meal. Hums were heard all around the table. Mikey couldn't help but feel good at successfully being able to make breakfast for everyone.

Leo swallowed a piece of bacon before looking towards Mikey. "So, are you ready to get back in the swing of things?" The goofball nodded eagerly.

"Yup! I already got my next date and everything." He soon pulled up his T-phone, some reinforcement built into the sides of it. He pulled up the Project Aphrodite site on the screen before displaying it to his family. "Not to mention, she's got a non-human tag! Check it out!"

"So we actually get to see if the alien part of the service is real." Commented Donnie. "I think it's exciting, the idea of meeting an alien that isn't looking to fight you or take over your planet. Here's hoping you show her a good representation of what Earthlings are like." Mikey chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head. Raph leaned closer to the screen, a scrutinous frown on his face.

"Another California girl?" questioned Raph. "I mean, I understand that you had a long break. I just think that California hasn't had the best track record. Maybe skip out on this one." Mikey thought on it for a second, only to shake his head.

"Dude, I don't wanna judge people based on where they come from. That'd be like someone judging us because we're from New York, which for some reason is under constant threat. I wanna give this girl a chance. Besides, she's from another planet and seems like a good one." Splinter nodded as he held up his pointer finger.

"A wise and noble way to approach this, Michelangelo." Commended the master. "Still, I would urge you to tread carefully. In this modern world, it is hard to discern who is speaking truth and who is a snake in the grass. I would hate for you to be hurt." Mikey smiled as he shook his head.

"I'll be fine, Master Splinter. I need to do this. I have to give these people the benefit of the doubt, otherwise I'll never get anywhere." The old man nodded his head, relenting to his youngest's decision. Donnie looked over the message before Mikey could close it, humming to himself.

"Looks like the date location is a restaurant called Los Hermanos Salseros." Noted the genius. "I think that means The Salsa Brothers in Spanish. It's a Mexican place I've seen people talk about online. Also… your date's in two hours and this is on the other side of the city, near Central Park." Mikey's eyes widened as he went into panic mode.

"Crap! I gotta move it then! See ya later guys!" Mikey barely registered the others' responses as he rushed to his room, his lightning creating burn marks on the lair floor. He decided to wear his dress shirt over a white t-shirt, quickly finishing his attire before running out of the lair.

Later

Mikey made sure not to bother the other pedestrians as he ran down the sidewalk. There were too many eyes on the nearby rooftops, so he had to huff the last leg of this journey on foot. Thankfully the streets were actually lightly crowded compared to the typical New York way. He finally found a break in the crowd as he skidded to a halt. He hummed as he looked over the building in front of him.

It was a typical building as far as New York goes, though the bottom level had the restaurant that was assigned. A logo with two peppers holding a bowl of chips served as the indicator for the business's existence. It definitely gave off the right vibes, especially with the sound of mariachi music playing. He looked around, hoping to find his date. He grinned as he caught sight of the familiar heart pin.

The girl was accurately described in her profile, down to the hearts on her cheeks. She wore a magenta hairband with horns, a sea green short-sleeved dress with a white collar, white lace on the sleeves and skirt and a cute pink octopus on the front, a yellow star shaped bag with a face, blue striped leggings that started dark blue at the top and became lighter with each lower stripe, and light blue sneakers with white tips. She turned slightly, displaying slightly transparent purple spikes that must have been her wings. Much like his other dates, her heart pin was placed on the upper left side of her chest. He suddenly had DeeDee flashbacks, but he stuffed down his concerns in favor of a fresh start. He smiled as he approached the girl.

"ButterflyGalaxy?" questioned the hidden turtle. The girl looked his way, only to gain an awestruck look on her face. Mikey couldn't help but attribute it to his newfound musculature showing through his clothes. He was just glad his height didn't change from when he signed up for the service. He cleared his throat, which seemed to help as the girl suddenly blinked rapidly.

"S…sorry." Apologized ButterflyGalaxy. "At a loss for words there. Yeah, that's me. I'm Star Butterfly." Mikey smiled, thankful for the normal introduction.

"That explains the username. I'm Michelangelo Hamato, but you can call me Mikey. The guy at the flower stand said you might particularly like these." Star accepted the flowers, a surprised look on her face. They had pink and red petals, alternating around the blooming head of the flower.

Star seemed to mutter something under her breath, her eyes both amazed and concerned. "Is… everything okay?" The girl quickly shook her head vigorously before nodding.

"Yeah. I just didn't expect to see Mewni-Blooms here. Let's go ahead and get a table." Mikey nodded, deciding to wait before inquiring about the girl's alien status. They made their way inside, both becoming intrigued by the layout of the building.

A statue of the mascots could be seen standing atop a salsa bottle, each exhibiting a welcoming grin. Some star-like lamps could be seen hanging above the various tables in the building. The circular tables apparently had a depiction of the logo carved into the center of them, a glass covering protecting the image. A waitress passed by with a bowl of tortilla chips, causing Star's mouth to water in delight. Mikey couldn't help but chuckle as he noticed a server was walking towards them.

"Buenos días!" greeted the man. "Welcome to Los Hermanos Salseros. I see you are registered with Project Aphrodite. Please hold while I check for your reservations." The server began typing on a tablet, looking up to make sure he was spelling the names on the tags correctly.

"We'll take a booth if you have one." Commented Mikey. "I think it'll feel more personal that way." Star smiled at the idea, letting loose a low coo. The way she was smiling kind of made the blonde boy blush. The server nodded as he continued to work with the tablet.

"Of course, signore! Ah! Here you are!" The man quickly acquired two menus as he nodded to the duo. "If you'll please follow me."

The daters nodded as they followed his request. He soon had them seated at a booth as requested, passing them their menus. "Someone should be with you in a moment." The duo nodded once more as the man took his leave. Star leaned forwards a bit, an intrigued look on her face.

"So, Mikey, why don't you start us off?" questioned the giddy girl. "Not gonna lie you've given me quite a good first impression." The goofball chuckled as he rubbed the back of his head.

"Well, like my profile says, I was raised here in New York my whole life. I love DJing, pizza, and all kinds of stuff. Guess you can find a lot of the stuff I like at parties, so we kinda match up there. I mean you did say that you like those in your profile." Star seemed to beam at this revelation.

"You paid attention! I actually really appreciate that. The last few guys I was with either didn't pay attention or were totally boring. I hate it when people lie just to seem cooler than they are." Mikey groaned as he nodded his head.

"Believe me, I know exactly what that feels like. I once friended someone online because he looked cool. Then he turned out to be one of the biggest jerks I've ever met. I mean it's one thing if you're worried about showing who you really are, but it's another to lie for the sake of being a jerk." Star gestured towards him, her eyes widening.

"Thank you! People can be so mean sometimes. It's like you can never get away from the bad of the universe, even if you go to another dimension." Mikey blinked a few times, surprised by the girl's words. He shook his head as he tried to regain his composure.

"That sounds like a total geek thing to say which I'd know, seeing as I am a nerd. Still, it's not really surprising to hear since you did register as a xeno on the site." Star smiled, seemingly happy by the recognition. So far so good. Soon a waiter arrived with some tortilla chips and salsa.

"Hola!" greeted the man. "My name is Hector and I'll be serving you. Can I get you started with a drink? Or do you know what you want to order?" Star immediately leaned forward, a childish grin on her face.

"Ooh-ooh!" began the hyper girl. "Definitely gonna need some cheese dip." The waiter began to write down the request as Star looked Mikey's way. "I'm ready if you are, Cutie." Mikey blushed a bit as he looked over the menu.

"I think I'm good to go." Agreed the hidden turtle. "I'll take an orange soda. For my food I'll have the chicken chimichanga." Hector began to scribble down Mikey's order tilting a bit as he nodded his head. Star decided to go next as she picked up her menu.

"I want a Coca-Cola and lunch sized Burrito sampler. Hold the salad." The waiter nodded once again as he completed the order.

"Nice choices all around. The cheese dip should be out en un minuto. Until then, I'll take your menus." The duo quickly handed the pamphlets over to the man before he departed. Mikey decided to pick up where he left off as he adjusted his position in his seat.

"Anyway, I like to think of myself as the king of parties and pranks. My family can attest to how much I like pranks since they were the only ones I could really prank for a while." Star took a bite of a chip as she leaned in, intrigued by the boy's story.

"What are they like?" asked the blonde girl. "Do they put a lot of responsibility on you because you're super strong?" Mikey felt like there was something behind that question, but he shrugged it off as he shook his head.

"Actually, I'm kind of the baby of the family. I have four brothers, an adoptive sister, and an adoptive father who took us in. He taught us everything we knew, even how to defend ourselves. If you want to talk about responsibility, you'd have to see my bro Leo." Star sighed as she swirled a chip around an empty bowl.

"Man I wish I had older siblings. Maybe then my mother would stop being on top of me all the time. Kind of hard being the only kid in my family." Mikey mentally sighed as he nodded to himself, realizing the reason for his date's question. Soon they were interrupted yet again as a server arrived with the cheese dip and drinks.

"One cheese dip." Described the woman. She set the dish on the table before grabbing one of the drinks. "Orange soda." Mikey happily accepted the drink, immediately putting a straw in it. "And one cola."

"Me!" Star took her drink like a giddy child, setting it down in front of her. The waitress nodded as she continued to hold the tray in her hand up.

"Your food should be ready soon." The woman moved back to the kitchen, most likely attempting to get the next order. Mikey took a sip of his soda before turning his attention back to Star.

"So, you're a Mewman, right?" questioned the hidden turtle. Star nodded her head as she took a sip of her own drink. "What's it like there? I know you're currently living here on Earth but you still listed the place as your home." The energetic girl finished slurping her soda as she put it down.

"It's so awesome!" cheered Star. "There's so many awesome creatures and stuff there! We've got castles, dangerous beasts, adorable little animals, dangerous adorable little beasts, and corn! Not to mention, we've got magic!" Mikey's eyes widened as he leaned forward.

"No… freaking… way! Do you got any cool magic stuff on ya!? You gotta show me later if ya do!" Star giggled giddily as she clapped her hands together. It seemed like his love of magic was a good trait for her.

"I'll definitely show you later. Right now, I just want to spend time with you and shove this food in ma mouth!" Mikey couldn't help but chuckle as he nodded his head.

"Sounds good to me! This is my first time eating Mexican and I am looking forward to the flavor. After this we can take a walk around Central Park. I know a good ice skating rink if you wanna give that a try." Star grinned as she clapped her hands together once again.

"I say yes to all of the above! So many things I haven't done before! This is gonna be the best date I've ever had!" Mikey couldn't help but smirk, the girl's excitement being infectious. He just hoped that he could make good on his word.

Their meals were quickly delivered as the duo had some more small talk. Mikey was actually enjoying his chimichanga, grateful for the chance to try it. He and Star had some goofy moments, such as Mikey placing two chips in his upper jaw and clapping like a trained walrus. It was honestly nice to just be goofy without having to put on an air of maturity. Soon the duo found themselves walking through central park, a bag of chips in Mikey's hand.

"Hold on." Star stopped in place, looking at him in confusion. The boy suddenly let out a huge belch, causing his date to laugh while holding her gut.

"Nice one! Let me try!" Star took a few deep breaths, trying to work up a belch of her own. She lets loose one bigger than Mikey did, causing the boy to look at her in surprise. She gives him a look of concern, only to receive a massive bout of laughter.

"That was a good one! Not very lady like but it's just us. You really do know how to party." Star chuckled in response to this, twirling her hair a bit. They soon came upon a bench, deciding to sit down for a bit.

They looked up at clouds, enjoying the quiet atmosphere. Mikey's eyes widened as he looked to his date. "Right! You said you had some cool magic stuff on you!" The blonde girl smirked as she reached into her purse.

"Well prepare to be amazed, Mikey!" The girl let out a cheer as she pulled an object out of her bag. It appeared to be a pink wand with a large circular head. It had a golden star in the center, tiny white wings on both sides of it, and a golden crown on top. "Behold, my family's magic wand!"

She stood up as she looked to a nearby water fountain. She mumbled something to herself before she looked to the water. "SUPER HAPPY WATER BEAM!" A beam of blue magic hit the fountain, causing the water to wave oddly. Soon the water in the bowl part popped up, creating the shape of prancing ponies.

Mikey grinned as he watched the water horses move around. Then they were joined by dogs that were chasing each other around. Star quickly waved her wand, stopping the water before a large shape could pop up. "So… how was that?" Mikey couldn't help but clap as the girl turned towards him, standing up to meet her.

"That was awesome! It wasn't overly flashy but it was really cool! What else can ya do!?" Star chuckled as she span her wand in her hand, possibly thinking of what she could do next. Before she could respond, however, a tear in space opened nearby.

"AHA!" cried a shrill voice. Both blondes looked to the portal as a huge group of monsters walked out, led by what appeared to be a small kappa wearing a mossy green cloak and an unidentified creature's skull on his head like a crown. In his hands was a long scepter that depicted an eyeball with wings on the end, which he used to point a Star. "We've finally caught you without your little friend, Princess!" Mikey looked to his date, surprised by this revelation.

"Princess?" questioned the blonde local. "You're a princess, Star?" The girl paid him no mind as she took a step forward.

"You chose a bad time to jump me, Ludo!" roared the girl. "I was actually having a good date until you showed up! Now I'm gonna send you and your monsters packing! Don't whine too bad if you end up being hurt!" The little kappa chuckled as he wagged his finger.

"Not so fast!" denied the being. "You know you aren't allowed to use big magic while on Earth, not after the Toffee incident! As long as we don't hurt you, your little book buddy has to tell on you!" Star jerked, as if she was caught in a bad place. Mikey growled as he stepped between the group of monsters and his date.

"That's enough out of you!" roared the hidden turtle. "I don't know what's going on here, but you're causing Star a lot of stress. You better get out of here before I kick your butt!" The monsters laughed at the display, as if they didn't expect much out of the boy. Ludo rubbed a tear from his eye as he shook his head.

"You don't know what you're up against, human. Show him what we're made of!" The monsters began wreaking havoc on the nearby area. This included damaging trees, defacing benches, and even scaring off anyone in the area. "Do you honestly think a weak human like yourself can stop all of these monsters!?"

Mikey growled as he looked between Star and these monsters. He couldn't go turtle as it would risk his family being exposed. He smirked as he remembered that he could fight without showing his true form.

"If I was normal, no. The thing about me is… YOU'D-HAVE-TO-CATCH-ME-FIRST!" The orange lightning suddenly formed over Mikey as he quickly got into a sprinting position. The monsters in his view were looking at him in confusion, their movements becoming slower and slower as he continued to call upon this electric power. A lobster looking one was the first to have a proper response as his mouth was slowly opening.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…" cried the lobster monster. Mikey suddenly dashed forward at a blinding speed, immediately hitting the opponent with a spinning axe kick. To the average observer it looked like the blonde boy sent the monster flying without even touching him. The lobster ran into a giraffe monster, sending them both crashing into a tree. Mikeys body vibrated as he stood in place, his head slowing down.

"That's two down. So, anyone still wanna dance?" Ludo growled as he pointed his scepter at the hidden turtle.

"Get him!" ordered the kappa. Mikey went into full blitz mode again as he dashed towards a bear monster with a unicorn horn. He blew raspberries at the beast, hopping back and forth quickly to emphasize his teasing. The bear tried to strike him, but he moved fast enough to grab a fly enemy and put it in his place. He then ran over to grab an abandoned tablecloth, sticking it to the bear monster's head with its horn.

The fly monster went flying as the bear monster kept walking around, punching at anything in its path. Ludo growled as he gestured to his other minions. "Did I stutter!? Hurry up and deal with this pest!" A two headed one tried to run towards Mikey, only to have both of its eyes poked and a rope tied around its legs.

Mikey then stood in place as he looked over everything with his enhanced perception. He looked up to see what appeared to be a gator with a hatchet trying to get the drop on him. He grinned as he ran over to a huge three eyed monster. He used a lot of his strength to push the creature into place, even more so to force its mouth open. He huffed as he wiped his brow before continuing his run, not staying to watch as the gator fell into the mouth of the three eyed monster.

Mikey then jumped up as he punched a bull man rapidly in the face. He then used the unfortunate creature as a springboard, grabbing a tree to put a splinter in the finger of what appeared to be a gator monster with one human-like arm. The boy then ran all the way to a store, grabbing a bottle of sap and placing the correct cash on the counter. Upon returning he glued Ludo to the back of the huge chicken he was working with.

Finishing his work, he picked Star up bridal style before running her back towards the fountain. He set her down gently before running back towards the enemies. He punched a huge bat in the face before returning to the position where he had first challenged the monsters. The boy looked over his good work, taking a deep breath. He then snapped his fingers as he deactivated his powers.

"I'm gonna getcha!" cried the bearicorn. "Just you wait you brat! When I get my claws on you…" He continued to punch at the air, trying to hit his intended target. Ludo roared as he prepared to issue another attack, only to realize his position.

"GAH!" cried the kappa. "WHO GLUED MY ROYAL POSTERIOR TO BIG CHICKEN!?" Mikey cleared his throat as the monsters looked his way.

"Are we done now?" questioned the blonde hero. "That was a nice warmup but I'd like to get back to my date. Of course, we could always go for round two." He sped up his body again, using it as a display of dominance. Seeing the state of his men, and not wanting to be glued to anyone else, Ludo let loose a defeated groan.

"Retreat! We'll get the wand another day! Now I'll have to go to Quest-buy to get some glue remover." The kappa pulled out a pair of scissors from his robes, using it to cut open a hole in space. "AND SOMEONE GUIDE BEARICORN THROUGH THE PORTAL."

"I have a splinter in my hand!" cried the human armed gator of the group. He ran straight through the portal, being the first to leave. The minotaur minion guided the still blinded bear through the portal, making sure he didn't hit anyone. Soon one by one the villains went into the tear. Ludo pointed to Mikey with a glare.

"You haven't seen the last of me… random human I now don't like! And you…" The head villain then turned his attention to Star. "I will have that wand, and you will fail just like you did with that hoodie boy!" Mikey growled as he sped up yet again.

"GET-LOST-UGLY!" cried the boy. He suddenly rushed forward, kicking the chicken and its master into the portal. He took deep breaths as he tried to calm down again. The boy walked back towards Star, the girl looking hesitant to say anything. "You… wanna go somewhere else and talk about all this…" Star looked him in the eye, her own looking dimmer.

"…Far away would be preferred." Accepted the Mewman. Mikey nodded as he picked her up bridal style yet again. He ignored the blush on her face as he took off at high speed. They then found themselves in front of the ice rink that Mikey had mentioned before. He set her down on a new bench before sitting beside her.

"So… you want me to go first or…" Star remained silent for a bit, letting the atmosphere set in. She then looked to Mikey, probably thinking about his offer once again.

"I… I've never been the best with responsibilities or boys. I had a string of bad dates before the service and abused my power just to have fun. When I first got the royal wand, I nearly destroyed the village and set the castle on fire. Instead of dropping me at a reforming school, my mother decided to send me to Earth. It was there that I met one of my best friends: Marco Diaz."

Star chuckled as she looked up at her namesake. "I was so eager to learn about your world, and it even helped me to change as a person when I let it. Ludo and his men would attack us, but Marco would always be by my side. He even fought some minions with his karate. I don't know what kind of martial arts you do with your cool powers, but he was proud of his work."

The girl rubbed her arm as she looked down. "Then Ludo hired a lizard man named Toffee. He took over Ludo's army and captured Marco. I didn't know what to do, but then I gave in and called my mother for help. When I told her what all had happened, including the stuff I took responsibility for, something I said made her see something new in me."

Star smiled once again as she looked to the ground. "It was the first time she actually showed pride in me. So she helped me break into Ludo's castle in secret. Toffee wanted me to destroy the family wand, but he wasn't counting on Mom and Dad showing up. Together, all three of us defeated Toffee and saved Marco." Mikey sent her a small smile, rubbing her shoulder.

"So why are you on a magic limit? Sounds like you had a good moment there." Star frowned again as she rubbed the offered hand.

"She had to do something to try and teach me some restraint, so she put the ban into place. The way she said it, it sounded more like a test than an actual punishment. At least, that's what Marco told me. So I did my best to push past it and show her that I deserve to have the wand. Of course, it wasn't all fun and games after that."

The princess looked at her hands as she sighed. "I began to develop feelings for Marco, but he already had feelings for another girl in our class. I tried to talk with him about it, but he didn't feel the same way. So, against my heart, I helped him to get with Jackie Lynn without the use of magic. I had to deal with a lot of emotional stuff after that, along with telling my ex to just go away."

Mikey took a turn to frown, not liking the fact that this ex of hers was apparently stubborn about being with her. "Janna, another friend of mine, encouraged me to join this dating service. She said that even if I don't find a guy, it'd probably be my last bit of freedom before my mother drags me back to do princess duties. I didn't think I'd find anyone who'd help me find my spark again. Then you showed up looking all cute and strong."

The local boy blushed as he rubbed the back of his head. Star looked his way with a small smirk. "You actually paid attention to what I was like and didn't try to make yourself look better. You also accepted me for who I am. It also helps that you beat up Ludo and his cronies for me."

She placed her hand on his knee, leaning a bit closer. "Speaking of, I'm rather interested to know how you got so fast." Mikey chuckled as he shook his head.

"Long story short, one of my dates was terrible but I tried to get her home before she could hurt herself. Apparently some spirit liked that and gave me superpowers. Now I'm really fast and sorta strong. Didn't realize it until I got home and had to take the allowed break to try and get them under control." Star hummed as she nodded her head.

"That all makes sense to me. Sounds like a magical creature of some kind." Mikey smiled as he nodded his head. That pretty much tracked with what Splinter thought. Realizing something, the boy poked his fingers together.

"Earlier you called that guy's goons monsters. Monsters are part of the service and not everyone is comfortable with revealing their status as a non-human. I actually have close friends who could be considered monsters by what they are and how they look. You don't have anything against that kind of thing, do you?" Star chuckled in embarrassment as she rubbed the back of her head.

"I… may still call Ludo and his guys monsters as a habit. After meeting some really cool people on a road trip that were considered monsters, I kinda changed my outlook after a while. I'm trying to judge people based on their actions rather than what they look like or what others think of them. To be honest you're kinda giving me the vibes that you're not exactly human yourself." Mikey chuckled as he shook his head.

"…Maybe. I couldn't really answer it here. My family has enemies of its own and I'd rather them not figure out about this." Star looked at him, concerned by his response. She suddenly got an idea as she began to reach into her bag.

"Well… telling me or not, it'd be kinda awkward having the date here right now." She then pulled out a pair of scissors, a teasing look on her face. "If you have time, we could do something fun. I know a place that throws the best parties but we could go anywhere in the universe." Mikey grinned as he nodded his head.

"Wherever the lady wants! It's time to party!" Star giggled like a school girl as she swiped the scissors mid-air. A blue portal opened from the cut, allowing the duo to jump through. What Mikey saw on the other side was something he would remember for the rest of his life.

The whole place was filled with games, creatures he had never seen before, and even a massive dance floor. It was almost like going to the Cavern for the first time, only now it was actually out of this world. Star grinned as she bopped up and down a bit.

"This place is a party 24/7. People get tired and leave, more people show up to replace them. The creatures here live off of our exuded excitement, so don't hold back and let your inner party animal out! We really only have time for the dance floor so…" Mikey quickly took her by the hand, causing her to drop her scissors back into her bag.

"What are we waiting for then!? MCMikey is in the house~!" He pulled the girl along, causing her to cry out in excitement. The duo quickly took the dance floor by storm, acting like they were the only people in the room. They soon had a crowd cheering them on as they even did a few team moves.

Mikey then began to use his superspeed to move from one end of the dance floor to the other, grabbing snacks so that the two of them could keep going. Things soon began to simmer down as he grabbed a boba tea for Star. They walked off the floor, huffing like they had been exercising all day. "This place is on fire!" Star grinned as she nodded her head.

"I knew you'd like it! We might want to leave soon. It's getting late and I have to scissor back home." Mikey nodded as he followed her into a new portal. They soon found themselves in a back alley, away from prying eyes.

Star clapped her hands together as Mikey looked her way. "So… this is it? I didn't know a real date could leave you with so much energy. Not that my other dates weren't real but…" The local blonde chuckled as he shook his head.

"Well we are out of time. I don't know what else we could do before you really have to go. It was a really fun adventure. You're an amazing girl Star, and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise." The princess blushed as she played with her hair, only to grin as she got an idea.

"I know one more thing we can do." Before Mikey could ask her what she meant, the blonde girl suddenly took him by the lips. Surprised at first, Mikey quickly reciprocated the action as he held onto her back. After a bit of rubbing each other for a bit, the duo finally separated. "Now I feel satisfied."

The two separated as Star opened up another scissor hole. She walked up to it, seemingly hesitant to go through. Mikey suddenly remembered something as he tilted his head a bit.

"Didn't you… wanna know what I meant earlier? About the monster thing?" Star sent him a teasing tongue as she held up a peace sign.

"Nah! I wanna be surprised by it one day. You're a big ball of mysteries that I've only started to unwrap. Bye~!" Star jumped through the portal with a cheer, the hole closing soon after.

Mikey put his hands in his pockets as he chuckled, only to feel something there. He pulled out a piece of paper, unfolding it to find a number. The words call me were written in glittery letters. The boy quickly stuffed the note back in its spot as he backflipped with his own cheer. As he was using his speed, the force caused him to send the manhole cover flying into the air as he dropped right into the sewers.

He ran off at high speed, sometimes running on the roof of the sewers. His electricity hit the water a few times as he zoomed on his way. By the time he was halfway to his destination, the cover fell back into place. The blonde was excited to share the events of this date with his family. Things were looking up once again.
