Inkaliber: Hey guys! I'm back with another chapter! We're not even through all thirty dates and already Mikey has been rather popular with the ladies.
Marinette: He's definitely a good guy. I would know what a good guy looks like seeing as I'm dating Adrien. He's the best of the bunch.
Adrien: Marinette! You're making me blush!
Inkaliber: Calm down lovebirds. I have to get this chapter rolling. Please try to be quiet.
Marinette and Adrien: Okay!
Inkaliber: Thank you. Anyway, let's see if Mikey can keep up the good work. That being said, let me just answer some reviews really quick.
UltimateAvengers- I'm glad you enjoyed the fight! I wanted to capture the essence of what makes Quicksilver moments and moments from the recent Sonic the Hedgehog movies so great. I'm honestly happy I was able to pull it off so well.
Quiet Reader- Yeah, I figured Raph would pull off how crazy all the things that have been happening to Mikey is. I never really considered a side story where Raph undergoes the service. I always considered any relationship he has to be a byproduct of the stories for based on after the dating service. Hm… I'll have to think on it more.
Yeah, I haven't seen any Bratz series so it's definitely not her. I guess you'll have to see which Gwen it was someday. I kinda agree with you on Cree. Again, you'll just have to wait and see. That counts for the particular Trixie too.
Yeah, I actually had to bump up my original rating for it when I wrote the chapter. I think it's both their similarities and their differences that made them a good match up this time. I like both ship names that were given to Star X Mikey.
Yeah, I wanted to get the first instance of his speedster abilities out in public a good vibe. I figured Star would have to be okay with creatures that call themselves monsters in order to be involved in the service. You do bring up a good point on false identification being a big factor. That could be an interesting thing to cover at some point. Hopefully in spite of the confusion the date for this chapter will still be entertaining.
Inkaliber: That looks like just about everyone. Let's get this chapter started! I don't own TMNT or any of the series that show up here. I do own original characters, items, concepts, and other such whatnot. Action!

New York City, New York
Mikey blitzed through the sewers, a massive grin present on his face. He couldn't get over the date he had with Star. He hadn't been this excited since he had his date with Marcy. He was so excited that he nearly forgot about an upcoming pile of debris. Realizing his blunder too late, he attempted to stop his momentum.
"AW CRAP!" cried the turtle. He followed his instincts as he tucked into his shell fully. In a surprising move, however, he suddenly began to spin like a fidget spinner as his speed increased. He crashed through the pile, its contents scattered and his shell undamaged. The boy skipped across the sewer water a few times before finally sliding to a stop on one of the walkways.
He untucked as he slowly stood up. "HOW DID I DO THAT!? I don't remember that from my training arc!" His eyes widened as he looked to his shell. "I'm like Sonic the Hedgehog, but a turtle!"
This made the goofy boy's mood fly even higher as his grin expanded. "I gotta tell the others!" He resumed his dash, being unimpeded the rest of the way. He finally came to a stop as he reached the lair, leaning back a bit in an effort to increase the friction against his movement. "I'm back!"
His smile disappeared as he saw that no one was in the room. "Hello? Anybody?" The goofy turtle was about to look around when he heard the signs of a struggle. He quickly moved to the training room, the sight within causing his eyes to widen.
Casey was using a pair of tonfas as he sparred with Raph, the hothead being in his human form. It was obvious that Raph had the edge, though Casey was also doing well. The regular human spun his weapon in an attempt to throw the mutant off-guard, though he was soon met with a kick to the gut. He was then flipped forward in an arm hold, a foot carefully applying pressure to his cheek to keep him from moving. Splinter, currently in his rat form, bopped his cane against the ground three times.
"Yamen!" declared the old master. Raph helped Casey up from his position, the hockey player grumbling under his breath. "Excellent control Raphael. You have gained a better control over your rage, though there is always room to improve." The redhead of the boys bowed his head respectively.
"Hai, sensei." Accepted Raph. "I'll keep working on it." Casey looked like he was about to make a comment, only for Splinter to turn his attention towards him.
"Casey, your form with the tonfas needs work. However, you perfectly performed a counter maneuver. Though it was easily countered, knowing how to implement such a move can save your life in the midst of battle. Never stop improving." Feeling better about himself, Casey smirked as he held his arms behind his head.
"I have gotten pretty good at it." Admitted the sports teen. He pointed one of his tonfas at Raph in a pointing manner. "One of these days I will beat you in a spar. Maybe when that happens, you'll show me a bit of respect." Raph rolled his eyes as he crossed his arms.
"Leo could beat me in a fight, and I'll still find ways to make fun of him." Revealed the redhead boy. "Only Splinter gets my full respect. That probably won't change unless I find a girlfriend and settle down. If Mikey can do it, then so can I." The turtle in question got an idea as he grabbed some plunger arrows.
He waited until Raph turned away to zip across the room, practically standing on the roof as he let go of the objects he was carrying. The goofball then grabbed a soda from the fridge and ran over to the wall on the other side of the room. He snapped his fingers as he leaned back against the wall. Raph heard the snap too late as the arrows fell on him at high speed, some of them sticking to his skin like suction cups.
"Maybe work on the humility too, bruh." Joked Mikey. "Trust me. Coming from the guy who was cocky up until he got dumped, it doesn't work very well." Raph growled as he pulled some of the arrows off of him. Casey was laughing in the background as the hothead took a few deep breaths.
"Ha ha!" laughed Raph sarcastically. "Very funny. Judging by your face, I say this was another good date." Mikey smirked as he wiped his lips, guessing correctly that Star's lipstick had smeared to them. He returned to human form as he took another sip of his drink.
"Another ten dude." The hothead and hockey player looked at him in shock while Splinter had a pleased smile on his face. "I even rated it on the way here thanks to super-speed. Her name was Star and she lived up to the name. Also, she was totally a real xeno if the hearts and the fluttering wings meant anything."
The boy finished his soda before crushing it under his arm as he prepared to count on his fingers. "She was really fun to be around, she appreciated me for who I was, and we even used some kind of dimensional scissors to go to a party world. Epic rave there by the way. Sure, there were some inter-dimensional bad guys who were after her family's royal wand but in the end, she was an awesome gal." Splinter frowned as he held both hands on his staff.
"While I am pleased that you had a wonderful time, my son, there seems to be context you left out." Began the rat master. "Your date was royalty? And you were attacked in broad daylight? How did you handle such a situation?" Realizing that he set himself up for it, the blonde held up his hands in defense.
"Before you say anything, I didn't transform to fight them. After making sure no one was around to record the fight, I used my super-speed to trounce them. Got a few good pranks off on them too. As for the royalty thing, it's private and irrelevant to the date overall so I really don't think it's my place to talk about it." Casey frowned in confusion as he rubbed his chin.
"That I can understand, but what's up with the wand thing?" questioned the hockey player. "What, was it some kind of magic wand?" While the question was meant to be rhetorical, the smirk on Mikey's face made Casey's eyes widen in realization. "Please tell me I didn't get that right first try?" The blonde mutant chuckled as he nodded his head.
"It was so cool! She was on some kind of limit as a test so she could really only make the water in the nearby fountain make the shape of dancing animals pop up. That was before the whole 'bad guys from another dimension' fight I had. Anyway, what's important is that I had a great time and Star did too!" The smile on the boy's face was infectious as the others soon sported smirks of their own.
"I am glad you had a good time, Michelangelo." Complimented Splinter. "Just please be more careful on your future dates." Mikey grinned as he nodded, only to gasp as he looked towards Casey.
"How was your date, Casey? I was so caught up in my good mood I kind of forgot to ask." The hockey player in question grinned as he held his chin.
"It wasn't a ten like I thought it would be, but it was still pretty nice." Revealed Casey. "I had a date with another Gwen, though she came all the way from Canada for this. At first, she was a bit cold, but I used the old Jones charm to wear her down. I think it also kinda helped that I took time to help a lost girl find her mother. It was an 8 overall, so Sasha is still my top pick for the moment."
Mikey smiled, happy that his friend was doing okay. "Anyway, you were actually home earlier than we thought you'd be. Guess training really is done for today." The blonde furrowed his brow in response to this statement. He held up his finger to ask what was going on, only for Leo and Donnie to suddenly burst into the lair.
"Raph, we have a situation!" cried Leo. "Oh, hey Mikey. Anyway, the Purple Dragons are causing trouble near Murakami's again. Figured you'd like an excuse to bash some heads tonight." The hothead grinned as he changed to his true form.
"Now that's what I'm talking about." Agreed Raph. "You better save me some." Mikey grinned as he cracked his knuckles.
"I've been waiting to bust out some new moves." Chuckled the goofball. "Let me get my nunchaku and…" Donnie held up his hand, as if in denial.
"It's just the Purple Dragons, Mikey." Reiterated the genius. "You just focus on getting ready for your next date. I'll have to ask about how that went tomorrow. Anyway, Casey's offered to take up your place in the team for a bit." Mikey looked to the hockey player for confirmation, watching as the teen lowered his hockey mask over his face.
"Since you had to use up your break on training that crazy speed, I figured you could use an actual break from the small stuff." Began Casey. "I'm using up my break to train up and take over for ya. That way you can hopefully do some regular teen stuff outside of getting ready for your dates. Besides, I'm liking the looks my growing muscles are getting me." Mikey felt his grin return as he rubbed the back of his head.
"Aw thanks dude!" cheered the blonde. "You didn't have to do that!" Casey chuckled as he spun his tonfas a few times.
"All in a day's work for Casey Jones. Anyway, you should probably look at your next date dude. Don't wanna end up potentially being stuck with a bad date you can reshuffle. Wait up guys!" Mikey's eyes widened in realization as Casey left with his brothers.
"Oh crap! He's right!" Instead of looking to his phone, the boy zoomed to his room to check his computer. He quickly reached the site as he waited for the info to pop up. He smiled as he read over the details, hoping that this one would be good.
Username: NYJubilee
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Height: 5'05"
Weight: 115 lbs.
Star Sign: Libra
Hometown: North Salem, New York
Physical Description: Chinese girl with brown eyes and short black hair.
Personality: Carefree fun-lover with a bit of a mature side.
Likes and Interests: Music, art, movies, etc.
Type of Person I'm Looking For: Someone who loves to have fun and doesn't judge others based on appearance or status.
Note: Due to residence and/or circumstances, NYJubilee may be an unregistered non-human. This cannot be confirmed or denied as of this moment. Seeing as each circumstance is different, please try to be respectful and treat her like any other date. If you find any signs of malpractice or anything that would breach the terms of service, notify the service so that proper authorities may be contacted. Please refer to terms of service on how to deal with situations such as this.
Mikey furrowed his brow at this end note. "That note has to be new… right?" The blonde quickly cycled back through the list of his dates. Sure enough, Marcy also seemed to have this note attached to her at one point, though the fact that it was greyed out probably means she proved her human status somehow. A sinking feeling suddenly hit him as he decided to check his own status.
To his shock he had the exact same note on his account. Did that mean his dates had some clue that he wasn't human this whole time? Why did none of them mention it? He decided to pull up the terms of service to see what the heck was going on. If he panicked now, it was possible that Splinter would pull him out of the service without hearing a word of it.
To the boy's surprise, it looked like they even planned for a situation like his. Apparently, they had certain kinds of specialists set in each booth, capable of determining what species a person might actually be. This included monsters like vampires that could smell out whether a person was human or not. It explained why the man at the booth was sniffing the air before approving the info. There was a guarantee clause included which ensured that to combat the cases where a user was forced to hide their status, each person from a location with high non-human populations would be marked with a note until they could somehow prove their human status.
Mikey chuckled as he shook his head. "Maybe after our date Marcy talked with the clerk again and asked to have the note removed from her account. I hope some jerk didn't make her feel bad for potentially being something else." The boy decided to continue reading over the sections of the TOS that concerned him. Turns out these people were pretty detailed on how to handle hidden non-humans, favoring a peaceful outcome unless violence occurred.
There was even a statement from the founder and owner, who strangely only went by Ink, about fair and just treatment to all users who take part in the service. Apparently, he was non-human himself, being a walking conglomeration of his namesake. It did put Mikey at ease to hear that the service was serious about protecting the non-human members, though he had been tricked in the past. Even then, he really didn't want to let the dates he did have be in vain by opting out. He heard his door start to open, causing him to change the screen back to NYJubilee's details and minimizing the note.
"Hey Mikey!" greeted April. The girl walked into the room, oblivious to the blonde's expression. "Sorry I didn't get to say hi when you got back. I was actually on the phone with Marcy and lost track of time." Mikey's expression did a 180 as he spun his chair towards his first human friend.
"No way! How's she doing?" April smiled as she stretched a bit.
"I am so glad you asked us to reach out to her. She's actually a lot of fun to be around, especially when an extracurricular of gym class gets boring. Some of the movies she's suggested are great too. It's all thanks to a certain goofball we all know and love." The redhead girl ruffled the boy's hair, earning a mock cry of distress.
She stopped her playful actions as she sat down on his bed mat. "So… how did it go? I remember Donnie messaging me about her being an alien or something. She didn't try to abduct you right?" Mikey chuckled as he shook his head.
"Nah. She's actually going to be my second ten. We had a great time. I'd say more but I gotta get ready for my next one." April sounded her interest as she scooted closer to the screen, reading through the available information.
"Sounds like you've got an interesting one. Any idea where the date's taking place?" The boy stuck his tongue out of the side of his mouth childishly as he scrolled down the screen. He finally got to the details of the actual date. He hummed as he read over the time and location.
"Looks like it's at a place called Greasers in North Salem, New York during brunch. Let me look it up." He opened a new tab in order to look up the place. He sounded his success as he found some details on it. "Here we are!"
He read over the info that was on the website of the establishment. "Apparently, it's a 'Ma and Pa' kind of restaurant that works like a diner. Its family owned and ran. Looks like a pretty decent place." April hummed as she crossed her arms.
"I don't know Mikey. That area has a bad habit of people being attacked for being what the public knows as mutants." Mikey frowned as he turned in his friend's direction.
"What's that supposed to mean? Are we not the only kind of mutants in New York?" April hummed as she rubbed her chin.
"Well… back when my dad was a kid, a few people began to appear that had strange abilities. They were believed to be mutations, evolutions in the human body that were radical and dangerous to the public. These kinds of people were forced to hide, being labeled mutants. They still have that status even after metahumans showed up, apparently only distinguished by a particular gene they all share." Mikey's frown grew as he looked towards his screen.
"Well, I don't care about any of that. If someone causes trouble, I'll just kick their butts. In the end we all got things that make us different. If you ask me, the people who sent those guys into hiding were just scared because they weren't the strongest in their little world." April couldn't help but laugh at that comment, holding a hand in front of her mouth.
"Now that's the Mikey I know. Just be careful, alright? You're like the little brother I never had." Mikey's smile returned, happy that April was acting normal again. His grin suddenly turned mischievous as he pointed at the redhead.
"Little bro, huh? Sounds like you want Donnie to get you a ring someday." April blushed slightly as she hit Mikey with his own pillow.
"Grow up, Mikey. Anyway, I'll let you get some sleep. I'll be with Splinter doing more kunoichi training until Donnie and the others get back. Hope everything works out!" Mikey removed the pillow from his face as his friend waltzed out of the room.
Realizing the time, he decided to quickly look over more images of the restaurant. He needed to be sure he had the right kind of outfits to go to the place. After determining that the place was more casual in nature, he decided to call it a night. He quickly shut off his computer before lying on his mattress. He closed his eyes as he tried to get some shuteye… only for them to widen in realization.
"I NEVER SHOWED THE GUYS MY SHELL-DASH!"
The Next Day
Mikey used his super-speed to travel through the sewers, hurrying towards a part of New York he never really ventured towards. He made sure not to go through anything that would make him smell like the sewers he lived in, even running on the ceiling a few times. He soon popped up from a manhole cover, being near the designated restaurant. He turned back into his human form, revealing that he had some flowers once again sheathed to his back. He pulled them out as he walked into the open area.
While there was the typical big city vibe surrounding the area, this part of town seemed to be more of a small-town feel. Greasers was a good bit off from his rising point, being styled after a classic 80s diner. Everyone seemed to be wearing casual wear of all kinds, making him glad he opted to wear his orange dress shirt and white t-shirt with a nice pair of shorts. He rushed over to the building, hoping to find his date amongst the crowd. He smiled as he saw the familiar heart pin being his beacon once more.
The girl resting against a tree was definitely NYJubilee, her short black hair being styled in a wild spiky shape that honestly looked cool to Mikey. She was currently wearing a black hooded jacket with a yellow and blue "X" on the back, a pink t-shirt, pink sunglasses, blue jeans with rips in the knee, and black leather boots. She definitely looked like a bit of a wild child, though Mikey couldn't help but feel some air of maturity off of her. It felt like the same kind of aura Karai had, though it had a different vibe to it. Taking a deep breath, he approached the girl.
"Excuse me?" questioned the blonde. The girl looked his way, her expression unreadable. "Are you NYJubilee? I'm sorry if I kept you waiting or anything." The cool girl raised her glasses a bit, revealing her brown eyes as a smile crept up her face.
"You're actually right on time." Revealed the girl. "Name's Jubilation Lee but it's a bit of a mouthful so call me Jubilee. So, guess this means you're MCMikey. Unless my date decided to reroll me." Mikey chuckled as he shook his head.
"Nah! That's me alright, Michelangelo, though I go by Mikey. Your name's a lot cooler though. Sounds like a party just thinking about it." Jubilee chuckled as she took her glasses off her head, closing them up before propping them on her shirt.
"I wouldn't count yourself out. I happen to like art, so the name Michelangelo is pretty cool to me." Mikey blushed as he rubbed the back of his head.
"T…thanks. I honestly haven't had that kind of compliment before. These are for you." Jubilee happily took the flowers humming as she looked over the petals. She then turned her gaze to him, a slight sparkle in her eye.
"Thanks. Anyway, they have a table reserved for us already. This place has some of the best pancakes on the planet. Ready to give it a go?" Mikey grinned as he nodded his head.
"Now you've got me really hungry! I skipped breakfast to get here on time so let's start this date right." Jubilee rolled her eyes playfully as the duo made their way into the building. The diner aesthetic continued through the atmosphere as the inside looked like a completely refurbished 80s diner. A woman dressed in the classic diner uniform walked over to them with a smile.
"Welcome daters." Greeted the woman. "I can only assume you're our ten o'clock appointment. Let me just use your badges to confirm the appointment before we start." The duo presented their badges to the woman, allowing her to look over them as she flipped through a paper list. She hummed as she worked her way down the list.
She smiled as she nodded her head. "Here you are. Right on schedule." The woman gathered up some menus before nodding to the daters. "Follow me please." She quickly led them to their table before gesturing for someone to come over.
She sent them another smile as she nodded her head. "Dave should be by to take your order. Have fun lovebirds." She left the duo by themselves as she returned to the front. Mikey drummed his fingers against the table a bit as they waited for their waiter.
"So… tell me about yourself, Jubilee. I read your profile and know that your name's fun to say but I'd like to know the girl behind all that." Jubilee smirked as she shook her head.
"Well, I will admit that I didn't grow up my entire life here." Revealed the cool girl. "I grew up in Beverly Hills, California, and was kind of the typical valley girl. I was having… trouble back home so I had to move away. I wound up here where I found a new home in my classmates and teachers." Mikey frowned as he stopped his thumping.
"Sorry. I… didn't mean to bring up anything hard." Jubilee let out a cry of indifference as she waved him off.
"Don't be like that. I've mostly gotten over it and I'm just living my life right now. I think the school I decided to go to was a good choice as it helped me to grow over the past two years. It didn't really change the fact that I love good music and actual art, not this weird stuff they keep trying to pass as art. Like, who actually tapes a banana to a wall and calls it art?"
Mikey couldn't help but chuckle, only to receive a slight frown. "You think I'm kidding? Some guy actually duct taped a banana to a wall or something and called it art. There are scholars and art enthusiasts that praised it as such." Mikey blinked a few times as he rubbed his ears.
"I'm sorry what? If that's art, then I'm a terrible chef. I'm told I'm pretty good by my family and friends." Jubilee's smile returned as she let loose a low chuckle. A young man walked over in the proper attire as he pulled out a small notepad.
"Welcome to Greasers." Greeted the man. "Can I get you something to drink for starters?" Jubilee nodded as she decided to go first.
"Lemonade." Requested the cool girl. The man quickly wrote down the drink order. He then turned his attention to Mikey.
"Sweet tea, please." Stated the blonde. "No lemon." The server nodded as he wrote down the request.
"Alright." Accepted the man. "I'll get you those drinks and give you some time to look over the menus. Excuse me one moment." The daters nodded as the man walked away. Jubilee smiled as she nodded her head.
"Anyway, that's me." Stated the cool girl. "How about you? You mentioned your family earlier." Mikey smiled as he thought over his words. He stretched a bit as he tilted his head.
"Well, my profile basically lays out who I am as a person." Revealed the hidden turtle. "On the family front, I live in New York City with my brothers and our sensei, who we call Splinter. There's also Karai, Splinter's daughter and one of my bros' sweetheart. That's if sweethearts were calm yet violent. If you meet her, please don't tell her I said that."
Jubilee chuckled once again as she shook her head. "In any case, I'm kinda the youngest in the group. We all have our jobs around home, mine being to cook for the group when Sensei can't do it himself or we don't get takeout. We're all one big happy family." Jubilee smiled as she nodded her head.
"Guess that's something we have in common. They sound like great people." Mikey grinned as he rubbed the back of his head. Soon Dave returned with their ordered drinks. He gave them some straws before pulling out his notepad again.
"Okay then." Began the server. "Are you guys ready to order or would you like a moment?" Mikey looked towards Jubilee for a confirmation, the girl nodding as she closed her menu.
"I'll have the French Toast plate." Declared the cool girl. "Extra blueberries please." Mikey looked over his menu one more time as Dave wrote in the notepad.
"I'll go ahead and have the pancake breakfast with scrambled eggs." Requested the hidden turtle. "Could I get an extra side of bacon?" The server nodded as he noted this information down.
"You sure can." Accepted the man. "I'll go ahead and take those menus off your hands so that you can have some space. Everything should be done soon." The duo said their thanks as Dave walked over towards the counter. Mikey smiled as he turned towards his date.
"So, I haven't really been to this side of New York before. Maybe after this we can take a look around. I'm happy to go wherever you want. I like to go with the flow." Jubilee grinned as she nodded her head.
"Sounds like a plan." Agreed the cool girl. "I can think of some fun places to visit. I will say that I have to be back at my dorm before sundown." Mikey nodded in response, understanding the constraint. As promised their food arrived rather quickly, much faster than the blonde expected.
After finishing they began their trot across town. Mikey marveled at the sight of buildings that stood the test of time. Jubilee would sometimes point out places her and her friends would hang out at after classes, mostly parks and arcades. Sadly, when it came to the latter locations, the lines were rather packed. Still, things were going rather well.
In the back of his head, however, Mikey felt two things were off. The first was that it seemed like Jubilee was keeping some locations descriptions to a minimum. She also didn't talk much about her school, as if it would incur some kind of problem. It made Mikey rather concerned for what was going on. Then again, it wasn't as concerning as the second thing he noticed.
Someone or something was definitely following them. Whatever it was, it wasn't entirely secretive as he sensed daggers being glared into the back of his head. It was almost like he was being scrutinized for something. He glanced back quickly, watching as lights seemed to be emitting from the clouds. He held onto Jubilee's hand as he returned his attention forward.
"Something's following us. I don't know what it is, but it probably isn't friendly." Jubilee was about to look back, only for the bit to shake his head in denial. "We need to get somewhere both secluded and safe for others in case this is a supervillain thing." The cool girl nodded as she gestured to a nearby parking garage.
"That place has been abandoned for a long time. If we have to run, we can lose them in there." Mikey nodded as he placed his arm around the girl's shoulder.
"Laugh like I just told you a funny joke. We need to look like we haven't noticed." Jubilee did as she was requested, fiddling with her watch or something. A few people they passed by ran in different directions away from them, revealing that whatever this thing was definitely wasn't friendly. They soon reached the abandoned complex, walking inside.
As soon as they did, Mikey pointed to the other side. "Go now!" They tried to run for the area, only for something to land in front of the exit. "Follow my lead!" Not wanting to see whatever the assailant was, the boy quickly led his date up the nearby ramp.
They climbed up to the next floor, Mikey pulling his date to hide behind one of the pillars. He held up his finger in a quieting position as he looked around the area. The sound of metal clanking against concrete caught his attention, a rather concerning noise. The noise grew closer and closer until it stopped. He suddenly grabbed Jubilee as he moved at super speed, narrowly avoiding the destruction of the pillar they were behind.
"Wh…what was…?" It was clear that Jubilee was surprised by the boy's speed, but he quickly shushed her again. Soon more rocket sounds could be heard as more assailants flew onto the floor. Mikey mentally swore 'sewer apples' as he looked around. Seeing as there was no way out but no sign of eyewitnesses, he stood up as he gestured his hands to his date.
"I'm going to distract them so you can get away. Please don't freak out." He shifted to his true form before rushing off at high speed. The world was slowed as he ran into the area, coming face to face with all five of the enemies. To say he was shocked was an understatement. All five them appeared to be some form of purple robot with rocket thrusters on the back, a turbine fan in the center, and canons of some kind in their arms.
"MUUUTAAANT SCCCUUUMMM!" began one of the machines. "TUUURRRNNN YOOOUUURSSSEEELLLFFF…" Mikey rolled his eyes as he prepared to jump off one of the supports.
"Let's see how you like this, fanbots." Mikey tucked into his shell as he rapidly spun in place. In a flash he suddenly dashed forward, seemingly missing the robot that was speaking. As he untucked himself and skidded to a halt, however, the machine's head was cut clean off. It fell forward with a thud, its attacker looking like a living bolt of lightning as he ran around the area.
"Unidentified creature!" began a new machine. "You are interfering with government affairs. Relinquish the mutant with which you are traveling and protocol states you may walk away. Further interference will result in termina…" This one ended up with a hole in its chest as the mutant turtle suddenly cut through it as well.
"I don't know what you're up to, but this is for ruining my date!" Mikey continued to run circles around them, dodging as they fired gunshots and nets at him. He continued to move in a circular fashion, causing a large amount of wind to funnel into the area. The machines were unable to get a clear shot as a wall of wind appeared to converge around them. One by one Mikey cut through them with his shell-dash, separating them into multiple pieces.
The boy finally came to a stop as he surveyed the damage. He frowned as he felt something amiss. He turned around to find that the one he tore a hole through was somehow still standing, aiming its gun at him. Before it could go for the kill, however, fireworks seemed to fly into the center of the machine. The robot looked down as the energy flew into its systems, suddenly causing it to explode.
Mikey watched in shock as Jubilee was standing behind the machine, her hands held out. "Jubilee?" Soon the sound of more rockets filled the air as two more of the machines flew into the room.
"Mutant, stand down!" ordered one of the machines. "You are designated for experimentation, pending termination if further resistance is met." Jubilee growled as she held her hands close together.
"Sorry pals, but I'll take a hard pass!" roared the cool girl. The fireworks formed in her hands as she thrust them forward. Multiple beams of the energy rammed into the machine that spoke, damaging the head and forcing it to shut down. The second one aimed what appeared to be a net launcher at the girl. It fired the object, causing Mikey to growl.
"Look out!" roared the turtle. He span once again as he rushed forward, cutting through the net with his edge. He then cut off the machine's arm, causing it to stumble backwards. The heroic boy then rushed forward to kick the robot in the back, sending it flying forward. "Now!"
Jubilee quickly sent the energy particles into the arm of the robot, causing it to explode much like the first one she destroyed. It sounded like more were about to arrive, only for the sounds of combat to soon follow. Mikey stopped to catch his breath as he looked outside, watching as a large laser beam cut one of the robots in half. "Please tell me these are friends of yours." Jubilee nodded as he looked her way.
"The X-Men. I called them in when you mentioned someone following us. They'll have everything covered. I should still head out there though." Mikey looked to her with a grin of his own.
"I could still give you a hand. I may not be the same kind of mutant as you guys, but I'd like to sock it to these losers." Jubilee smiled sadly as she shook her head.
"We can handle this from here. You're very sweet but they'll definitely have questions that I don't think you're ready to answer. I'll also have to go straight home after this." Mikey reciprocated her smile, nodding his head in understanding. He quickly ran over to one of the in tact heads, pulling out a beeping object that looked like a tracking device.
"Guess I should take a souvenir then. In spite of everything, I had fun." Jubilee nodded in agreement as she walked closer to him. She pulled a paper out from her pocket as she wrote something on it. She then handed it to the turtle boy.
"If you ever want to swing by or need help, come here. It's where I go to school and where the X-Men operate. You'd have to take it up with the headmaster, but you and your family will be welcome there." Mikey grinned as he returned to his human form. He put the paper away before bowing chivalrously to the X-Man.
"I'll definitely keep your offer in mind. As they say in Paris, au revoir!" Mikey quickly zoomed off with the robot head, leaving the X-Men to deal with the machines. He felt a slight pain in his chest at how the date was interrupted before he could get to know Jubilee. Still, it definitely wasn't the worst date he's ever had.

Next time on The Many Dates of a Ninja Turtle
Catty Date
Inkaliber: And that's another date and chapter out of the way. First off, congrats to zzdragon for guessing that it was an X-Men character. In the end it was Jubilee who the boy got to date.
This date started out alright but it ended with a bit of a sour taste thanks to the sentinels. Luckily our boy was able to help his date long enough for the cavalry to arrive. He didn't really get to help out the X-Men due to time constraints. Not to mention Jubilee would be made to go straight home if the sentinels were specifically targeting her.
Alya: Whoever made those things are seriously rubbing me the wrong way. It was very clear that this girl was a hero but those speciesist bigots just have to get rid of everything they hate! If that was in our world Paris definitely wouldn't be treating the mutants like that!
Nino: Calm down babe. It's going to be okay. If I know Pops, he'll write any future stories in some way that these dudes will get the justice they deserve.
Inkaliber: What do you take me for? Even if it takes a while, I wouldn't write a story where the mutants aren't given the rewards of justice at all. Cool your jets.
Alya: You're right. Sorry about that. It felt like watching the government go after Celestia for being who she is.
Nino: Just breathe, babe. Let's go watch a movie with some popcorn. I might even give you a massage.
Inkaliber: It better be a regular massage young man. Anyway, I need to end the chapter. Go watch the DnD movie or something.
Alya: Ooh! I love that one. Don't think I'm skipping out on that massage, Nino.
Nino: Oh I won't forget. Later Pops!
Inkaliber: Well that's taken care of. Anyway, what did you think about the chapter? How was the date this time around? How about the quick fight with Ludo's men where Mikey used his speed? Let me know what you think in a review or comment down below and let me know who you think Mikey's next date will be. This is Inkaliber, signing off.
