Earth Realm, Shinnok's Hidden Fortress...

Captain Ophelia, who had been captured before the attack on Edenia began, was dragged through a narrow stone corridor by a pair of demons before being tossed into a dungeon cell.

"Ophelia!" Sindel and Kitana cry out as they run over to help their friend. Ophelia groans softly as the Queen and Princess gently roll the Edenian Captain over on her back.

"Ugh... My head... What happened?" Ophelia asks groggily as she sits up slowly, with Sindel and Kitana's help. She regains her vision and examines her new surroundings. "What... Where are we?" She asks with concern as they hear the door of the cell closing loudly.

The demons leave and a new individual walks into their view. A young man who appeared to be an Earth Realmer in his early to mid thirties, but the three women knew bettter.

The man is wearing clothes that can only be found in Outworld. This man is from Outworld. His clothes in some places were black, but his main color appears to be a dark or blood red color. His gauntlets appear to be dark red leather wraps that wrap around both his forearms with spikes sticking out, and his boots are the same color with spikes on the shin guards also.

The man hard dark black hair with silver hair on the sides. His skin complexion was pale, but he did have a slight tan, though it's barely noticeable. He also has black tribal markings on his eyes which also covers his cheeks, but what's most unsettling for the women were his eyes. Dead white and with no color in them at all. No pupils, no irises, nothing.

The man stands in front of the dungeon cell and stares at the three women silently. Then Kitana finally remembers who this man is.

"General Reiko? Are you behind all this, or just part of it?" The Princess asks with a sharp tone as the man, revealed to be Reiko, continues to stare at them silently before he speaks.

"Part of it, Princess Kitana. And I am not a General anymore. Not since your brother defeated Shao Kahn and left him to the mercy of the Elder Gods." Reiko says to Kitana stoically as she stands up and approaches the bars of the cell heatedly.

"Shao Kahn got what he deserved, Reiko! He was nothing but a poison, a parasite among the realms! You may have looked up to him, but do you honestly think that he ever cared about you? Believe me, he didn't care about anyone but himself." She tells him with a glare, which causes Reiko's stoic mask to crack as he glares back at Kitana.

"I cannot help but agree with the young princess, Reiko." A new voice says in the darkness of the corridors. Kitana and Ophelia wonder who the voice belonged to, but Sindel already recognizes it, since it was mere hours ago that she had a brief conversation with the woman.

Delilah enters their view with Sareena close behind her as Reiko glances at the blood sorceress with an uncomfortable expression. He glances down at the floor and takes a few steps back as Delilah stands in front of the cell with an arrogant expression.

"And just who the hell are you?" Ophelia, still lying groggily on the floor with Sindel supporting her, asks harshly.

Delilah glances down at the Edenian Captain with a grin. "I'll let Sindel explain that, but don't expect many answers, since not even she knows that much about me." She says to Ophelia with a chuckle that enrages the three women.

"For now, I think I'll just leave you alone with a familiar acquaintance of yours, Ophelia. One that you know quite well and will have to explain to the Queen and the Princess here." She continues before pointing to the right of the three women, which allows them to see that someone is in another cell right next to theirs.

It's another woman. One with brown skin, dark hair, and she appears to be wearing yellow and black colored clothing.

Ophelia quickly realizes who it is and slides over to the cell bars to call out to her, but Delilah decides to only make matters worse.

"Sindel, Kitana, say hello to your once good friend... Tanya." She says with a sickly sweet tone before she begins to laugh at the expressions on Sindel and Kitana's faces. Which were mixed expressions of utter shock, but also anger at the memory of Tanya.

Delilah continues to mockingly laugh at the three women and begins to walk away with Sareena and Reiko, but not without some parting words. "Have fun, ladies. Do play nice now." She says tauntingly with a laugh as they walk away, leaving Sindel, Kitana, Ophelia, and the unconscious Tanya in their cells.

Ophelia whispers desperately to Tanya to try to wake her up, but to no avail as Sindel and Kitana walk up behind her with dark and angered expressions on their faces.

"Ophelia, you need start talking. What did Delilah mean that Tanya is an acquaintance of yours? None of us have seen Tanya in 10,000 years since Shao Kahn's attack on Edenia. Explain yourself... right now." Kitana orders the Edenian Captain with a sharp tone as Ophelia sighs before looking up at the Princess and Queen of Edenia.

She sighs heavily before shifting into a more comfortable position to explain herself. "I'll tell you. Both of you. And I understand your hatred and anger towards Tanya, but you must let me explain everything first before you say anything. Understand?" She says to them. Without saying a word or nodding to confirm that they understood, both Sindel and Kitana sit down and wait patiently for Ophelia's explanation.

Ophelia sighs deeply and takes another glance at Tanya with a concerned expression before looking back at Sindel and Kitana. This was not how she wanted to break the news to them about Tanya.

"Alright. It all began months after Shao Kahn had conquered Edenia..." She begins.

Back in Edenia, Palace Throne Room...

Eclipse vs. Scorpion...

Scorpion attacks Eclipse with his flaming kunai, but Eclipse blocks each the attacks with his ice shield. But each strike from the heated kunai chips away at the ice shield before Eclipse dodges and rolls away from Scorpion.

The specter roars and launches the kunai at Eclipse to yank him back closer to him, but the black clad ninja continues to dodge the kunai easily, much to Scorpion's frustration. Eclipse throws a ball of ice at Scorpion then quickly freezes a path on the floor.

Eclipse uses the ice path to quickly come upon Scorpion, who had dodged the ice ball, but didn't react in time as Eclipse is suddenly right in front of him. Eclipse uppercuts Scorpion and launches him into the air then the specter lands roughly on his back, but he doesn't stay down long.

Fueled by his hatred for Bi-Han, Scorpion jumps back up to his feet and glares at Eclipse before rushing towards him. He pulls out his katana as it is engulfed in flames before taking multiple swings at Eclipse, who dodges each sword swipe.

Scorpion roars furiously and loses focus due to his blind hatred. He swings at Eclipse again, but the black clad ninja catches the flaming blade with his ice covered hands and holds the blade in place.

Scorpion struggles to yank the katana out of Eclipse's grasp to severely damage his hands, but it doesn't budge an inch. "Let go! Are you too afraid to fight me, coward?! Why are you holding back?! You insult me with your refusal to fight me!" He shouts angrily as Eclipse stares at him and continues to hold the blade in place.

"Because I do not wish to fight you, Hanzo! Our clans may have been rivals, but you and I were both tricked, lied to, and used! Surely you must see that!" Eclipse shouts at Scorpion, hoping that the specter will listen to reason. But Scorpion furiously shakes his head and refuses to listen.

"No! You're lying! The Lin Kuei killed my family and clan! YOU KILLED THEM!!! I WILL NOT DISHONOR THEIR MEMORY BY LISTENING TO SCUM LIKE YOU!!!" He shouts before he finally manages to yank his katana out of Eclipse's grasp and prepares to continue fighting him.

Eclipse backs away and forms an ice sword in his hands. "You already dishonored them when you attacked the realm of Edenia and no doubt killed many innocents in your family's name. You do nothing now but disgrace your own name, Hanzo Hasashi." Eclipse says to Scorpion coldly, who roars again loudly with rage as three twisting pillars of flame explode inside the throne room and close in on Eclipse.

"FEEL THE FIRES OF THE NETHER REALM AS THEY BURN THE FLESH OFF YOUR BONES!!!" Scorpion shouts as Eclipse stands calmly before taking in a deep breath and releases it. Then an ice cold mist covers the entire throne room, which causes the three pillars of flame to freeze as Scorpion stands on edge when his vision is become blurred.

"A coward like always, Bi-Han! Hiding inside a mist when you should be fighting like a man!" He shouts as he closely watches his surroundings, but can only see a few feet in front of him.

He then hears Eclipse's voice from inside the mist. "The only coward here is you, Scorpion. You hide behind the mask of a slave in order for you to hold on to your rage while killing innocent people and blindly serving Quan Chi." The cryomancer says sharply as Scorpion snarl angrily.

Eclipse continues while he remains in the mist. "And you know that without your rage, without your need to serve as a slave, without a purpose... you're nothing. Without any of that, you're just as much a failure as you've always been. You think you're strong? You're not even close to being strong. Not like you were before as Hanzo Hasahi. Now, you're just a sad, pathetic man with nothing but his rage and no purpose. There is no more Hanzo Hasashi. He died with his family and the Shirai Ryu. All that remains now... is a shinobi failure that couldn't protect his family." He says to Scorpion with a belittling tone.

"ENOUGH!!!" Scorpion roars wildly. He pulls off his mask to reveal a charred skull before turning in a circle as he spews flames from his mouth at the mist. A loud hiss echoes in the throne room as steam begins to fill the area. Scorpion puts his mask back on, but still sees nothing.

Because of his rage, he made a mistake in hoping that he would get rid of the ice mist with his flames, but the steam only clouded his sight even more.

Then he suddenly feels a sharp pain in his left shoulder. He looks down to see a shuriken made out of ice lodged in his shoulder before it instantly melts away. He growls and angrily looks through the mist to find Eclipse, but is instead met with an onslaught of ice shurikens and kunai.

He shields himself from the attack, which was coming from all directions. In a last ditch effort, Scorpion yells furiously as flames surround him and form a protective barrier, which melts the ice weapons being thrown at him before they can get close.

He collapses to his knees out of breath as the mist and steam eventually clears out of the throne room. Scorpion looks up to see Eclipse standing near the entrance to the balcony with an expression of indifference on his face.

The specter grits his teeth under his mask and wants to continue fighting, but knows that if he does, he will lose. He reluctantly opens a fiery portal and stands up on wobbly legs.

"This isn't over yet... Eclipse. We WILL fight again." Scorpion says darkly before stepping through the portal.

ECLIPSE WINS! FLAWLESS VICTORY!

Eclipse sighs heavily as the portal closes then looks in the direction of the entrance to the throne room that Kurai had left. "I better go and help the others. Things should have settled down by now." He says before running towards the main hall.

As he nears the entrance of the throne room that leads to the main hall, he could hear sounds of a fight.

With Kurai, Palace Main Hall...

Kurai vs. Kano...

During Eclipse's fight with Scorpion in the throne room, Kurai was fighting Kano, who had stopped him from leaving the palace and heading back to the city.

Kurai began his fight with Kano by leaping high into the air, surprising the Black Dragon leader, before he came down upon him. Kano rolled out of the way just as Kurai landed back on the floor with his fist buried into the floor.

Kano's one eye widens in shock as Kurai turned his gaze towards him. Pulling his fist out from the floor, Kurai stands back up straight and slowly walks towards Kano. The Aussie stands his ground and pulls out his butterfly knife as Kurai continues to walk towards him.

Not saying a word, Kurai pays no mind to the butterfly knife before he suddenly teleports out of Kano's sight, shocking him. Kurai then reappears behind him in a white flame and punches Kano from behind in the kidney.

Kano's knees buckle briefly before he quickly runs away from the Edenian Prince. He stops a few feet away from him, holding the spot where Kurai had punched him. "Bloody hell! That fuckin' hurt, ya wanker!" He shouts angrily as he looks up at Kurai, but finds that he was no longer standing in his spot.

He tenses up when he hears Kurai's voice beside him. "And there's going to be more where that came from." He says coldly before brutally punching Kano in the face.

Kano stumbles to the side and spits out blood before he glares up at Kurai then uses his laser eye to burn a hole into the Prince, but misses. Kurai had dodged to the side before quickly dashing towards Kano then uppercuts him.

The Black Dragon leader flies through the air before landing on the palace floor roughly. He groans and holds his back while trying to get up, but Kurai grabs him by his feet and hurdles him towards the wall.

Kano crashes against the wall before falling to the floor, causing him to groan painfully as he sits up to see Kurai with a large ball of fire forming in his hands. "Oh, bloody fuckin' hell." He says while Kurai glares at the Black Dragon leader fiercely.

He launches the fireball at Kano as it morphs into the shape of a bird, a phoenix. Fortunately for Kano, he had enough wits to move out of the way of the firebird and rolls away as it screeches and impacts with the palace wall before exploding.

Kano rolls over on his back and groans. "This is not going the way I want it to." He mumbles as Kurai walks over to him.

Still lying on his back, Kano looks over at Kurai and quickly gets up on his feet in a panic. Kurai continues to glare at Kano as he steps through the fire that was between the two of them. Kurai is suddenly knocked back by an unseen force and collides with the wall of the opposite side of the main hall.

Falling to the floor, Kurai quickly looks up to see who or what had attacked him and interrupted his fight with Kano. Looking in Kano's direction, Kurai notices Silva standing beside the Black Dragon leader as he opens a portal. Kano quickly steps through the portal and retreats while Silva pauses and take a glance at Kurai.

The two stare each other down fiercely as Silva steps through the portal. "We'll see each other again soon, Kurai. Prepare yourself for what's to come." He says ominously as the portal begins to close slowly.

Before it closes, Kurai catches a small glimpse of Delilah standing inside the portal beside Silva and Kano, waving at him with a smile. She winks just before the portal finally closes, which only causes Kurai grits his teeth furiously.

"Damn it." He whispers with a seething tone.

KURAI WINS! FLAWLESS VICTORY!

Kurai manipulates the fire and puts out the flames when he hears someone running towards him from the throne room. "Kurai!" He hears, which causes him to turn around to see Eclipse running towards him.

"Eclipse? You're alright." He says with relief as Eclipse runs up to him with a nod.

"Of course I am. You should expect nothing less." He says with a smile as Kurai laughs, but the Prince soon sports a serious expression.

"And... Scorpion... did you...?" He says before letting the question linger, but Eclipse shakes his head reassuringly.

"No, Kurai. Scorpion is still alive. Though I don't understand why you want to help him. He is Quan Chi's puppet from hell." He says with confusion, not understanding why Kurai wants to help the specter.

Kurai just smiles and pats his shoulder gently. "So were you once." He reminds him, causing Eclipse to pause for a moment before he laughs lightly with a nod.

"Yes, I guess I was. Though I still don't understand." He admits as Kurai nods with understanding.

"Because I don't want anyone to be a pawn or puppet under anyone's control. Not Quan Chi. Or anyone else for that matter. And especially not Shinnok." Kurai explains his reasoning as Eclipse nods himself with understanding.

Then what Kurai just said hit him. "Wait. Shinnok? As in the fallen Elder God, Shinnok?" He with a bewildered tone, which causes Kurai to nod.

"I'll explain later to you and the others. For now we've got to regroup with the others and I need to inform Raiden of Shinnok's return." He tells him seriously and turns to run towards the exit of the palace.

However, Eclipse stops him before he moves. "But what about Scorpion? What if you help him, and he still decides to side with the fallen Elder God and the Necromancer? What will you do then, my friend?" The cryomancer asks curiously as Kurai thinks for a moment.

Kurai then looks up at Eclipse with a serious expression. "It doesn't matter what I do. If that is his decision, he'll have to live with it. And if he does, then we'll deal with him like we dealt with the former Lin Kuei Grandmaster." He answers truthfully, which causes Eclipse to nod.

Kurai nods in return before they both leave the palace and head back towards the city to help push back the demons and centaurs.

Upon returning to the city, Kurai and Eclipse notice that the demons and centaurs are retreating through fiery portals in the distance. Kurai looks over at Eclipse with a curious expression. "I'm going to assume that you didn't come to Edenia alone?" He wonders, causing Eclipse to nod his head.

"You're right. I didn't come here alone. Smoke and my little brother are here too. Along with your friends from Earth Realm and Raiden." He answers truthfully. Kurai nods before they both take off to find and regroup with the others.

Kurai and Eclipse make their way to the center of the city to find Raiden and the group surrounded by the Edenians, all grateful to the thunder god and the Earth Realm defenders, consisting of Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Kai, Drake Lee, Sub-Zero, Smoke, Kabal, Kurtis Stryker, Sonya Blade, Jax, Johnny Cage, and Jade, for fighting back the Nether Realm demons and the centaurs of Outworld.

"Lord Raiden, we are forever grateful and indebted to you and your chosen heroes for coming to our aid." An elderly Edenian man, one of the royals, says to Raiden while bowing low to the thunder god.

Raiden pleasantly smiles and waves his hand gently. "Think nothing of it, good sir. We were happy to help." He says kindly to the man before he hears a commotion coming from the side.

He looks to his left to see a path forming in the crowd, many of which were shouting and yelling angrily at someone before he sees who it was.

Kurai with Eclipse walking beside him.

"Get out of here, traitor! We don't want you here!" The thunder god hears one of the Edenians shout as Kurai and Eclipse walks towards him and the group.

"You fool! What are you talking about?! Prince Kurai defended us from the demons and the centaurs! He even helped us put out some of the fires before heading towards the palace!" Another of the Edenians shouts, defending Kurai as the Prince and Eclipse stood in front of Raiden and the group.

Jade quickly runs over to him and embraces him in a tight hug before kissing him. "Thank the Elder Gods, Kurai. Are you alright?" She asks him with concern, causing him to nod. Off to the side among the crowd, the Osh-Tekk, Kotal, grimaces at the sight of Jade kissing and hugging Kurai.

Ignoring the angry cries of the protesters, Raiden looks at Kurai with relief. "Kurai, I'm glad to see you're alright. Have you learned anything while you were in the palace?" He asks Kurai curiously after expressing his relief that he was safe.

Kurai looks at Eclipse for a moment before looking back at Raiden then nods. "Some. But I also learned something else while Drake, Kai, and I were on the ship before coming here. And it's information you're not going to like." He explains as Raiden now begins to feel worried.

The crowd of Kurai's protesters begin to feel more restless as his defenders shout and push back against them. "LEAVE EDENIA, YOU TRAITOR! YOU'RE NOT NEEDED OR WANTED HERE! GO BACK TO EARTH REALM WHERE YOU BELONG! WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE! EDENIA IS BETTER OFF WITHOUT YOU!" Another of his naysayers shouts, which causes him to turn around and begins to try speaking to the crowd to calm them down, but flinches and cries out when he feels a sharp pain strike his cheek.

The women in the group both gasp as the men all stare in utter shock at what just happened. Even Raiden felt a great deal of disappointment as what he just witnessed.

Someone had thrown a rock at Kurai that struck his cheek and caused him to bleed from the cut. He wipes away the blood as Drake walks past him with a furious glare on his face while his hands tremble from the rage building inside him.

"You... You... ungrateful... worthless... FUCKING SWINES!!!" He shouts as his fists are engulfed in golden flames, causing the entirety of the crowd to back away fearfully.

"Kurai fought tooth and nail against Shao Kahn and his forces to give you all back your homes and your freedom, and THIS is how you repay him?! Treating him like an outcast and throwing rocks at him because none of you were brave enough to fight Shao Kahn yourself?! HUH?!" He shouts furiously at them as he glances back and forth between the crowd. Raiden, Kurai, and the rest of the group look on in shock at Drake as he rants and vents his frustration at the mass crowd of Edenians.

The protesters and Kurai's defenders remain silent, causing Drake to scoff. "Yeah, that's what I thought. You all think you're so much than the other realms because you were born in a paradise. In my opinion, not a single ONE of you deserves to be here! You're nothing but cowards that can't do anything on their own without someone here to lead you! You might think that you're all better than the rest of the realms, but you know what?! There are no REAL warriors or fighters here! Just a bunch of lazy, good for nothing pigs that can't defend themselves properly because you're all too busy sitting on your asses and sipping your fucking wine!" He continues to shout at them, which begins to make the crowd grow agitated at Drake's insults and disrespect.

Noticing this, Drake prepares himself for a fight, which causes the protesters in the crowd to back down instantly. Drake scoffs again. "Uh-huh. That's what I thought. No guts. No spine. Nothing. Just a bunch of cowards. None of you are worthy to call yourselves Edenians." He says sharply as his fists continue to tremble while still engulfed in golden flames.

Kurai calmly walks up behind him and carefully places his hand on his friend's shoulder. Drake snaps his gaze back at Kurai sharply before his expression softens.

Kurai shakes his head lightly. "Save your energy, buddy." He begins before looking at the crowd sharply. "They're not worth getting yourself worked up over." He tells Drake softly before patting his shoulder then walks back over to Raiden.

"Let's take this conversation elsewhere, Raiden. We need help, but... if I'm going to be involved, no one here is going to want to help me." He says to the thunder god, explaining that none of the Edenians are going to swallow their pride enough to help Kurai if he's involved.

Raiden nods with understanding then closely examines the crowd surrounding them, feeling major disappointment in the crowd for how they just treated Kurai, before looking back at the young prince. "Where to then, Kurai?" He asks curiously.

Kurai didn't even take a moment to think before he looks at the crowd, wanting to add insult to injury. "Outworld." He states plainly, shocking the crowd as they begin shout furiously and continue protesting.

Kurai would really go to Empress Mileena of Outworld to ask for help rather than his own realm and home? The answer? Yes. He would rather take his chances with his other sister over the people that refuse to trust him, despite the things he's done for them.

Raiden, understanding Kurai's reasoning, prepares to teleport the group to Outworld, but stops when a voice calls out to them.

"Wait! Please!" The voice says as the group looks over in the direction of the voice. Jade sighs ruefully when she sees that it's Kotal approaching her.

She breaks away from the group and walks over to the Osh-Tekk, who gazes upon her with longing. "Jade... please don't go. I was hoping that you and I could talk and continue where we left off." He tells her quietly, but sincerely. However, Jade looks upon her former lover and shakes her head softly.

She gently places a hand on Kotal's cheek. "No, Kotal. That path has run its course. I'm on a different path now." She explains simply, which causes Kotal to angrily look up at Kurai, who was waiting patiently for Jade to return to the group.

Kotal looks down at Jade with a worried expression. "What of Edenia? You would leave it defenseless?" He asks her curiously. Jade then looks and examines the surrounding crowd, who look back at Jade, hoping that she chooses them over Kurai.

Jade looks back up at Kotal. "After what they've just done to Kurai after he fought and defended them...? Yes. I would. And I am." She answers loudly, shocking the crowd.

"Kurai has been nothing but patient with them since he returned to Edenia, and they've done nothing but give him more grief since then. I refuse to stand with a community of people like them after they treat their savior like a villain. If they want Edenia to be defended... they can do it themselves for once while I find my mother." She says simply before gently backing away from Kotal.

The Osh-Tekk reaches out for her gently, but she had already rejoined the group as Kurai looks at her with concern. "What was that about?" He asks her softly, causing her to shake her head.

"I'll explain later. Right now we need to go. My mother is missing. And so is Sindel and Kitana." She explains to him, causing him to nod.

"Yeah... I know..." He says with worry as Raiden teleports himself and the group to Outworld, leaving Edenia as Kotal looks up at the sky with a determined expression.

"I swear, Jade. I will win you back if it's the last thing I do. And the Prince of Edenia is not going to stop me." He says sharply as his fists begin to bleed slightly.

Back in Shinnok's Hidden Fortress with Sindel, Kitana, & Ophelia, Earth Realm...

"... and before the demons attacked it was at the banquet when I received word from one of my rebels that communications with Tanya were cut off then suddenly went missing. It was hours after that when I suddenly lost consciousness... and I woke up here. So... that's my story, Sindel." Ophelia had just finished explaining her story and Tanya's involvement as a rebel to Sindel and Kitana, both of whom did not look happy.

"Ophelia, why? Why keep this a secret from us for so long? If you had explained to us Tanya's innocence, we would have happily heard you out." Sindel says to her old friend softly, though angry, she understood.

But Ophelia shakes her head. "May so, Sindel, but the royals, they wouldn't have given Tanya a fair trial. And I know that for a fact. They also wouldn't have bothered listening or let her explain herself." She explains as Sindel listens, but Kitana had walked away in a huff, feeling angry that Ophelia had kept such a secret from them.

Ophelia continues. "Those royals that you've been making friends with are so arrogant and selfish that they would do anything and everything in their power to keep people under their heels. And the fact that you're doing nothing to prevent that is exactly why... the two of us haven't told you." She explains, but something that she just said caught Sindel's interest even though she was offended that Ophelia would think she would not act accordingly to protect Tanya and side with the royals.

"The two of us?" She repeats curiously as Ophelia briefly avoids her friend's gaze. "Answer me, Ophelia. Who is the second person that knows of Tanya's innocence?" She orders her Captain of the Royal Guard before Ophelia looks back up at her.

"Your son. Kurai." She answers simply, shocking Sindel and Kitana, who had turned around sharply when Ophelia answered.

"Kurai knew and he didn't tell us...? But... why would he-" Sindel begins to ask, but stops when she is interrupted by a painful groan.

The three women look in the other cell where the groan came from to see Tanya stirring and regaining consciousness. Tanya sits up and rubs her belly gently before she begins to weep softly.

"Tanya?" Ophelia calls out to her, causing Tanya to turn around to see Ophelia inside the cell, but also sees Sindel and Kitana with her.

She dons a saddened expression and slowly backs away from them fearfully, but Sindel crouches down near the bars of the cell and reaches out for Tanya tenderly. "No, Tanya. It's ok. I promise. Ophelia just told us the truth. We know what happened now. You don't have to be afraid of us." She says to the woman softly.

Tanya hesitates for a moment before she slowly inches her way over towards Ophelia and Sindel, but Kitana remained uncertain. When Tanya was close enough, she grabs Sindel and Ophelia and embraces them in a hug through the cell bars before she begins to weep loudly.

Ophelia and Sindel shush her quietly while whispering soothing words to her to calm her down, but Tanya shakes her head despairingly. "Tanya, what is it? What's wrong?" Ophelia asks her tenderly as Tanya continues to weep, but much more quieter this time before she looks up at the Queen and the Captain tearfully.

"They... They... They took it away from me. I can't... I can no longer have..." She tries to explain, but instead stutters and stumbles over her words before Ophelia calms her down again to get her to explain.

"What, Tanya? What did they take? What happened?" Ophelia asks her softly as Tanya looks away with despair.

Without looking at either Sindel, Kitana, or Ophelia, or even saying a single word, Tanya lifts up her top and lowers a part of her skirt to show them a stitched up scar on her belly that had once been a deep incision. The three women in the cell instantly knew what Tanya was showing them, and it horrified them deep to their core.

Tanya's womb had been removed. These people that captured her before them had taken away her ability to have children.
