Chapter 3
Severus Snape has had a very confusing start to September. He was prepared to hate the Potter brat, stupid, pampered, and Gryffindorish.
Then his plans were flipped upside down. The boy was sorted into Slytherin, and that shocked him more than he would admit. He still seemed to hate Draco, but that's expected, the boy is, quite frankly, an ass.
Though Potter did seem to make quick friends with the young Nott, as well as the other Half-Blood, Davis something or other.
Regardless, in his shock, he failed to notice how… frail… Potter looked. Frail, skinny, and not looking like a child who's been pampered since birth. At that moment, Severus realized why he was in Slytherin. Ambition. Pure ambition to have something in his life. Positive influence. It's what Severus wanted after all. It seems to be common in abused children.
But finding there was at least two people inside of Potters head was the thing that suprised Snape the most. So Severus spent his NEWTS potions class that afternoon, and all night, habing the elves bring food down to his rooms, studying.
Then, in a Muggle psychology book of all things, he found it. Multiple Personality Disorder. Personality sounded wrong though, it seems to be a whole different person, rather than a personality. Whatever, that's the name for it. Muggles, such simple things.
So spending hours searching it up, he knew what to do… nothing. The entire condition is based on secrecy, from Harry and everyone else.
Actually… there was something he could do. Harry was a Slytherin, and as Head of Slytherin House, he is allowed to take Muggle-Born, and Muggle-Raised children under his care if he wants. As his Godfather is in prison (thank Merlin), and his Godmother is currently… not available, his guardianship falls to Hogwarts and therefore, Dumbledore.
Now he just needed to convince Dumbledore to give him the bo- Harry's guardianship.

"Alright Severus"
Huh? It was that easy? Severus had an entire speech prepared, and the Headmaster inturupts him and is just… okay with it?
Apparently, Dumbledore saw the confusion on his face.
"Well, for one, according to the rules, and laws, it's okay. Not to mention, in Lily's will, you were on the list of guardians, I suspect she wanted you to be a godfather. Unfortunately, whenever I brought the boy up, you didn't want to talk about it, so I had to send him to the Dursleys."
Severus sat stunned, before collecting himself. "Good, I will inform Harry of this development. Good day Headmaster."

"Potter, to my office." Snape said as he walked by Harry. Harry look to the side, and saw Theo raise his eyebrow at him.
"Two times in one day? Are you sure you aren't a Gryffindor?" He asked, with a hint of amusement in his voice.
Harry sighed, and got up from the comfy couch limply, before walking over to Snapes office. Again.
When he walked in, he half expected to black out, but to his suprise, that didn't happen. So he carefully went over to the chair opposite Snape, and sat down.
Meanwhile, Snape was sitting patiently at his desk, like nothing was happening, and when Harry was sitting down, he started speaking.
"It has recently come to light," Snape started, "that I was supposed to be your guardian at the event of your parents death."
"Your mother and I were indeed good friends in childhood, but as we had a falling out in our fifth year, I did not believe that she would give me your guardianship."
"As such, if you would like, I can become your guardian, and you will spend Summer Holidays with me. You will still have to spend the oth-"
"YES!" Harry yelled. "I mean- Yes sir, I would likr that." He corrected with a grin.
"Good. Now just know I won't be showing favoritism to you for being my… godson."
"Of course not." Harry said, then his face started to feel weird. "You'll show favoritism to me because I'm a Slytherin." He said, even though he didn't mean to. He heard the thought, but didn't want to say it aloud.
Harry saw Snape pause, before a small smile appeared, "I can neither confirm nor deny that. Dismissed"
"Thank you again… sir." Harry said before he walked out, realizing his face didn't feel weird anymore. Weird.
"So Pottah." Draco appeared beside him. "Get expelled yet? Can I have the pleasure of snapping your wand?"
Blackout…

"No Malfoy, but I'll gladly snap yours for you. Save you the trouble." With I mild disarming charm, Malfoys wand flew into 'Harrys' hand.
"Semms a little thin, seems like it could be a little easy to…" Malfoy reached for his wand, but it was quickly pulled away and out of his reach. "Wow Malfoy, so eager to see your wand snapped you'll do it yourself. I like the initaive!" He cheered, with a laugh.
"Give it back Pottah!"
"Say my name right, then maybe."
"Give me my wand back… Potter."
"Mmm, I believe that would be Heir Potter to you."
"Give my wand back… Heir Potter."
"What's the magic word?"
"Expeliarmus?"
"Ooh, nothing, not even accidental magic. Try again though. I'll give you a hint, it's something all proper pureblood princes should learn."
Draco sighed. "Please… give me my wand back.. Heir Potter."
The wand was handed back to Draco, and immediately, Snape was heard. "My office, again."

Once again, inside the office, Severus sighed. "So, not-Harry, do you know of the conversation we just had?"
"Of course god-dad." not-Harry said as he put his feet onto the desk.
"Feet off my desk before I glue them to the floor. So, I have some more questions for you."
"Shoot away mi amigo."
Severus sighed. "Are there more of you?"
"Maybe, maybe not. I cannot say."
"Cannot, or will not"
Not-Harry was silent.
"Alright then. Just… try not to cause trouble with Draco. Dismissed. And if I see either one of you in here again, it's detention!"
"Alright then, I'll try not to get caught!" Not-Harry said cheerfully, and closed the door.
Severus sighed. This was gonna be a long seven years.
A/N: I know, I know. I said that I wasn't gonna have a consistent schedule, but all the updates have been 5 days apart. It's not intentional, and now that I say something, in 5 days I won't have a chapter written… maybe. I might, you never know.
Part of this chapter was written by another alter, who has… heavily influenced Harry's first alter. Anyway, see you soon… possibly in five days now that two of us are writing.
