Chapter 16: The Way Back

Year: X752. 32 years till Canon begins.

Cade POV:

After me and Gildarts woke up the next day from a very long sleep, we went downstairs to Luko's main shop floor and greeted him. He informed us that he was able to track down all of his stolen goods in the chest I had given him, and gave us the jewels we were promised by completing the job.

He thanked us for our services yesterday, and we were about to bid him farewell, until I remembered that I still had Ivy's magic rings on me. I decided to give them to Luko as I had no real need of them. Sure they could phase and levitate very small objects, but I can't imagine ever being in a situation where I actually need them for an advantage in combat. Perhaps he could sell them for a high price.

With that me and Gildarts bid the man farewell, and we headed to a nearby restaurant for some breakfast. After we got there and ate our food, we began to make our way back to Hargeon Station, to return to Magnolia.

I wasn't sure whether my mother was made aware of the fact that the job would take over a day to complete, so I was a bit nervous in case she would be upset at me for not sending some sort of letter to her.

Me and Gildarts then boarded the train a few minutes after arriving at the station, and began to head back to Magnolia. The journey back was a little quiet, as there wasn't much to talk about on the way.

Most of the important and commonly thought conversation topics had already been said and spoken earlier in the day while we were walking. I did realise how I felt like my magic weapons had definitely came in handy during my battle yesterday, and as such, I planned to continue focusing on decoding Malvel's spell book.

Speaking of magic, that fight I had last night had definitely helped me in terms of improving my magic. When I woke up the next day, I felt like I could channel my ethernano much easier than I could have before.

I asked Gildarts about it, and he said that it's something that all wizards seem to go through after having a really tough battle. Combat seemed to be the fastest way to get better at using magic. I wasn't exactly planning to put myself in danger every single day, in order to improve my magic, but it was still nice to know.

Gildarts did bring up one thing to me on the way back. "So, did you hand the top hat to the Rune Knights before we left today?" He wondered.

"Yup." I answered.

Ah yes, Vega's hat. Strange that it didn't go back with him to the Spirit World with him. I had decided to hand it in to the Rune Knights to get them to deal with it. I felt I had enough on my hands as it is.

As for the three Celestial Spirit Keys I had collected, I planned on just holding onto Canopus and Vega until I found a "worthy Celestial Spirit Wizard" or whatever Sirius meant by that. As for the mystery spirit himself, I had examined his key in a bit more detail when I woke up this morning, but to my disappointment there was nothing unique about it from what I could see. The real curiosity was about Sirius himself. That did give me and idea for a question to ask Gildarts.

"Hey Gildarts, how do Celestial Spirits work exactly? I only just learned about the magic yesterday." I questioned to him, as he was looking out the train window.

"Hmm? Oh! Celestial Spirits?" He jolted up, me having cut him off from whatever daydream he was in just there. "Well from what I know, Celestial Spirits are beings that exist in the Celestial Spirit World, which a completely separate world to ours."

"You can summon the Spirits by using their Gate Key. There's Silver Gate Keys and Gold Gate Keys. As far as I'm aware the Spirits can't be summoned any other ways…" Gildarts explained nodding his head as he spoke, with him trailing off at the end.

"Ah, I see. Was just wondering that's all." I said, as I shifted my gaze to look out the window on my right. It made sense that Spirits can only be summoned using their Keys, I mean I saw it happen twice yesterday.

But what did Sirius meant when he said that he would "find his own way around things?" The last thing I wanted was him to show up when I least expected it to happen, like if I was at a party or in the middle of a job. That was something I would have to ask him about when I next saw him.

Attention. We are now approaching Magnolia Station. We hope you have enjoyed travelling with us. The next stop is Oak Town.

Upon hearing about us approaching Magnolia Town, me and Gildarts got ready to disembark the train. Upon leaving the train, me and Gildarts both agreed that we should head to the guild first to report our success to Master Makarov. After that, I planned to head back to the Manor and see my mother. Gildarts said he would then be heading to his home as well. We then took a leisurely walk back to the guild.

"Master! We're back from the job!" I shouted as I opened the doors to the guildhall. When I looked into the guildhall, I saw quite a few guild members look at me as I came in. What surprised me next, was the fact that they started to clap and cheer when I made my way through the guild. While I was confused as to why, I felt Gildarts hand on my shoulder.

"Ah, don't worry about it. It's the guild congratulating you for making it through your first job." Gildarts explained as he smiled at me.

"Yeah, how was it Cade?" "Kill any monsters?" "It was a thief job you idiot!" "How much money did you make?" "You plan on going on another job?" "Nice job Cade. Hah! See what I did there?" "Wishing you well for the future!" "Good kid!" "Glad that you did well!"

"Welcome back indeed." Came the voice of Master Makarov from the second floor. He was dressed in his casual clothes, with his hoodie, hat and staff and was standing on the guilds railing looking down on us with a big grin on his face. "So then, how was it Cade and Gildarts?" He inquired, with a curious voice. The whole guild quietened down to hear how we had done.

"We did it Master! We completed the job!" I shouted with triumph, raising my fist into the air.

Upon me saying that, the whole guild erupted into cheers with lots of applause and praises coming from the various tables. After a while, Master Makarov raised his hand in the air to signal everyone to quiet down.

The rest of the guild seemed to lower their voices upon seeing that, and went back to whatever they were doing before we came into the guild. Master Makarov then jumped down from the railing and landed on the counter in which I was standing in front of.

"So then, tell me all about it!" He asked cheerfully to me and Gildarts.

"Well, we made it to Hargeon and went to the Jewellery store listed on the request. We found that the thief was somehow stealing the jewellery without tampering with the protective cases." Explained Gildarts as he started the story off.

"After that, we made a plan for the oncoming night. I chose to wait and hide outside to see when the criminal is coming. Cade would be hiding in the shop behind the counter, and would wait to see what kind of magic the criminal is using. Then he would launch an attack at them to scare them off out of the shop. After that, the both of us would chase after them and take them down." Said Gildarts, finishing the first part of the story.

"Hmm, not a bad plan. It does avoid collateral damage after all." Master spoke nodding his head in approval. "So did it work?"

"The first part of the plan, yes." Said Gildarts. "I saw the thief enter the shop, after lock picking the door open. Then a minute or so later, I saw them running out of the shop and I chased them with Cade following me close behind!"

"And then you caught them?" Makarov asked curiously.

"No… We were catching up to them, but then they raised their hand and a bright light came out of nowhere! I ended up getting sidetracked and going the wrong way because of it." Muttered Gildarts, with a bit of shame in his voice as he said the last part.

Makarov sighed, and gave Gildarts a look of disappointment. "I thought I remember telling you to watch over Cade as it was his first job here, did I not?" Master Makarov sighed, raising an eyebrow.

"I know, I know! I'm sorry Master. But look, it all worked out in the end!" Gildarts reassured Master confidently. "I erm, can't tell the rest of this cause I wasn't there… But Cade can fill you in!" Gildarts proclaimed, as he pointed to me. Makarov then turned to me, quite interested to see how I did.

"Well I was able to keep track of the thief, and I was able to catch up to them at the beach. Turns out the thief was a girl named Ivy She used ring magic to steal the jewellery and blind Gildarts with the light earlier. I thought I could take her in easy, but it turned out she was a Celestial Spirit Wizard as well!" I stated with an uneasy voice. This seemed to shock Master, as he looked quite taken aback by hearing this.

"After that I had to battle against two silver key spirits. In the end I was able to win against both of them. The crazy thing was that one of them had a weird top hat that could hold all sorts of items in it! I was able to figure out that Ivy had hidden the jewellery in there."

"Anyway, when I beat Ivy I took her in to the Rune Knights, who were at Luko's shop. She was arrested, and due to that I think I gained temporary ownership of her keys until I meet another Celestial Spirit Wizard." I finished, as I pulled Vega's and Canopus keys out of my pocket and showed them to Makarov.

"Well we don't have any Celestial Spirit Wizards right now." Master stated as he scratched his moustache. "You should keep ahold of them for now, until you meet one in the future."

I nodded and put them in my pocket. "Ah yes, I almost forgot to tell you. It turns out there was a reward for catching Ivy! 500,000 jewels to be exact." I spoke with a smirk.

"What!? 500,000 Jewels!? That's more than double the amount the job offered to you!" Master Makarov exclaimed in surprise.

"Yeah, she must have been a big deal. The reward should be coming to our manor in a few days time." I said nodding my head. "That's about all that happened Master. I met back up with Gildarts later and we returned to Luko's. I then got the jewellery out from the hat and gave it and Ivy's rings to Luko. Then the next day we returned here!" I concluded, as I finished our story.

"Well done you two! Well done Cade for stopping the thief, and well done Gildarts for losing the thief!" Declared Master, as he chuckled at that last part, leaving me sniggering and Gildarts dejected.

I then turned to Gildarts. "I'm gonna head back home now, you want to walk with me till we have to go our separate ways?" I suggested to him.

"Sorry, I've just remembered I've got something to do here." Gildarts spoke, with a frown on his face.

"Ah well, guess I'll catch you some other time then. It erm, may be a while before I go on another job. That ok with you?" I asked to Gildarts nervously.

"Oh yeah, that's completely fine. I kinda felt the same after my first job." He said. "I'll see you soon then!" He waved to me as he went of to sit at a table with some older guild mates.

I then chose to leave Master and headed out of the guild to tell my mother the good news about the job. I bet she would be overjoyed!

When I made it back to the manor I chose to ring the doorbell to surprise whoever answered it. Upon a minute after ringing it, I was greeted by Pierce, who looked a little bit shocked to see me.

"Oh! Sir Philipe, so good to see you again!" He smiled. "Was the job a success?" He asked nervously.

"Yup! Went really well!" I grinned. "Is my mother in?"

"Yes, she is in the back garden right now. Why don't you go and see her?" Answered Pierce as he stepped to the side to let me in.

Upon entering the manor I made my way through into the dining room, and then into the side room that led out into the garden. After I made it outside, I saw my mother sitting in a chair reading a book under the sun. I smiled and made my way over it her.

She must have heard me coming, because she raised her head up in my direction, and let out a huge smile upon seeing me coming towards her.

"Cade!" She cried out in happiness, as she ran over towards me with her dropping her book on the grass below her. I ran to her as well, and hugged her upon reaching her.

"I'm back! I completed the job, I did it!" I cried out with happiness as I embraced her.

"Oh that's amazing Cade!" Mother smiled, as she squeezed me even more. "You didn't get hurt did you?" She wondered with a bit of worry.

"Erm, well I did get hit by a fire fist – which didn't hurt that much!" I answered quickly. "Other than that though, no I didn't." I pulled away from the hug to actually look at my mother. "You won't believe what else I got as a reward by doing the job!"

"Hmm? What did you get?" Mother inquired.

"Well, the thief that I took down on the job had a 500,000 jewel bounty on her!" I said cheerfully.

"What!? 500,000 jewels!?" Exclaimed my mother in astonishment.

"Yep, but that's not all! She was also a Celestial Spirit Wizard as well! So when I beat her, I got to hold on to her two keys until I find a Celestial Spirit Wizard that I find worthy to give them to!" I explained with a smile on my face.

"You fought Celestial Spirits!?" Shouted my mother in bewilderment. "Cade are you sure you're ok?" She questioned nervously.

"Yeah I'm fine. I'm just happy to be back here with you!" I hugged her again. Even though these jobs would mean that I would be travelling all across Fiore to do them, I get the feeling that no matter what, I'll always want to stay here a few days before heading back out again on another. This was home after all.

After I finished telling my mother more about the job, I went back into the manor and planned to take it easy for the rest of the day. I went upstairs into my bedroom and place Canopus and Vega's keys on top of my dresser. I then put Sirius's key in the box under my bed that had Malvel's spell book inside of it. When I did that I went back downstairs, and went into the kitchen to get something to eat, after not having anything for a while now.

For the rest of the day, I relaxed in the lounge and re-read my favourite book for the third time in my life. As I climbed into my bed after having a very nice dinner, I began to wonder what I should focus on next. Perhaps I could decode more of Malvel's spell book? Or maybe focus more on my Ice Magic? I ultimately couldn't decide, as I fell asleep before I could come up with an answer.

Year: X753. 31 years till Canon begins.

One year.

A lot can happen in one year.

You could maybe learn an instrument, learn to speak a different language, or maybe even focus on decoding more of an ancient spell book and trying to get better at using your magic, while also trying to summon a Celestial Spirit that won't come out when you want him to. One whole year had passed since my first job with Gildarts.

I was now an 11 year old boy that had been focusing on decoding an ancient spell book, refining my Ice Magic and trying to get the attention of a Celestial Spirit while also going on jobs with my good friend Gildarts.

Granted, everything else in my life that didn't involve anything to do with magic of any sort, was fairly straightforward. Pierce and Charles continued to clean the manor and my mother had decided to volunteer to help in Magnolia's library occasionally which made her quite liked by the townspeople.

As for Lilly and Cornelia, they along with me and Gildarts had spent some good times together at the manor. With us playing board games together, playing in the backyard together and the four of us exploring Magnolia for things to do there. We even took a trip to Hargeon one time! Cornelia and Gildarts had become good friends since they were properly introduced to each other months back, they were also in the same age range which I think helped. They both seemed to get on well with each other which was nice to see.

As for my magic, I had been progressing quite well with my Ice Magic. I had been practicing over the months, and I was now able to handle myself a lot better in battle than I could do back on my first job. I had also learned a new ice attack as well! Ice Slicer!

Ice Slicer sent a slice of ice towards the opponent. The attack in question were pretty good damage wise, as when I tested it on a set of nearby trees they completely sliced through the trees leaving only the sumps left. My other ice spells had also improved, with me being able to send multiple Ice Shards at once now, and I also got a grasp on sending more than one Ice Beam.

Then there was Malvel's spell book. I had continued to decode it over the last year, and had translated a good five pages. Of course I would have done more if I could, but I kept getting sidetracked with other things – that were, when looking back, not actually all that important in retrospect.

The five pages I had translated had given me (in order): A new enchantment known as Raito, which could summon a burst of light. Two new diary entries. A new enchantment known as Kaminari, which summoned lightning. Finally I unlocked another diary entry. Overall, that makes five enchantment spells as well as four diary entries. This left me with quite the diverse magic lineup.

As for Sirius's Key… nothing had came up regarding it. I hadn't seen the guy again, since my first job and I had even tried summoning him, but alas it did not work.

The key was still locked under my bed, with no indication that someone had found it, as no one had brought it up with me. The other keys were still gathering dust on my dresser, as I hadn't met a Celestial Spirit Wizard since I first acquired the keys.

As for the Fairy Tail guild? Well Master did deliver on his promise to announce the S-Class trials this year. He said that he will be announcing them today as a matter of fact, hence why I'm walking to the guildhall right now. I know I won't be chosen, but I am curious to see how the trials are announced. I had also written out the diary entries I had translated on paper, to show to Master.

As I walking to the guild, I saw a person that I didn't really expect to see emerge from a side alleyway.

Ivan.

He was currently walking to the guild from what I could see, it was directly ahead of us, and there wasn't really anything else of interest from around this area of the town. All the shops and restaurants were located behind us. I assumed the guild was the only thing that interested him here.

I sped up to reach Ivan to talk to him about the trials coming up. "Hey Ivan!" I greeted, as I reached his side, with me then slowing down to keep pace with him.

Ivan turned his head round slightly to see me, before turning back round to face in the direction of the guildhall. "Oh, Cade." He spoke dryly.

"You off to see who's being announced for the S-Class Trials this year?" I asked curiously.

"Hmph, don't really care who gets it unless its me. Just means I have to beat them to become S-Class." Ivan declared, in a rather plain manner.

"You really think you'll make it this year?" I wondered, with a little bit of uneasy tone.

Ivan then turned to look at me, giving me his full attention. "Of course!" He snapped. "I'm more than strong enough, I'm of age, and I'm sure my father thinks I'm ready!" He added in a rather rude tone.

"Alright, alright, you don't have to get so worked up about it. It's just a title after all." I defended cautiously, choosing to back off from this conversation.

Thankfully I was spared from any more of Ivan's presence as we had arrived at the guildhall. I opened the door, and Ivan walked straight in without even thanking me.

'Yeah, thanks to you too.' I rolled my eyes, as I entered the guild closing the doors behind me.

From what I could see, the entire guild seemed to be here to find out who was going to be chosen for the trials this year, whether it be them or someone else. Many of the members were muttering to others about potential candidates this year.

I looked around to see if I could find Gildarts in the guild, with me moving through some of the guild members to find him. As I was doing this I bumped into someone, as we were both not looking where we were going.

"Sorry about that." I said as I brushed last him.

"Yeah me too." Spoke Gildarts as I moved past him.

'Wait a minute.'

"Hey Gildarts!" I smiled to him.

"Cade! There you are! Was looking all over for you!" Cheered Gildarts as he came up to me. Gildarts had gotten a little bit taller this year, with him now a few more centimetres above me than he was before.

"Funny, I was looking for you as well! Guess it was a funny coincidence!" I said chuckling to myself. Just then I saw Master Makarov, step onto the second floor railing, and clear his voice.

"It's starting! Quick, stand on the benches so we can see better!" Gildarts spoke quickly to me, as he stepped up onto the benches that were really meant to be used for sitting. I joined him, and we got a good view of the guildhall and Master on the railing.

"Alright! I promised you all last year that I would hold an S-Class tournament this year, and I intend to keep it! It's time to announce this years S-Class Trials!" Yelled Master Makarov, as he raised his fist when he finished saying that.

The entire guildhall let out a cheer when hearing that. Many of the wizards were now chatting among themselves with hushed voices. I swear I could also hear some members placing bets on who they thought would get selected.

"Quiet! It's time for me to announce the three candidates I have chosen for this year!" Declared Master loudly, as the rest of the guild immediately shut up after hearing that.

"Here we go!" Whispered Gildarts to me excitedly.

Makarov then cleared his throat and spoke up.

"Lee Havens!"

"Alright!" Said a young adult in his 20's, who I could see from my viewpoint.

"Eva Heart!"

"I did it! I did it!" Came an excited young girl who looked about 16 to 18 years of age.

"Quikora Steel!"

"Hell yeah!" Shouted a man who looked like he was in his early 30's.

"The three of you will be facing this trial alone, but you will have a week to train and prepare for the trial which is in a week from today!" Master declared firmly.

"The trial this year will be held up in Mt Hakobe! Make sure you are at Magnolia Station at 12:00am next week, from there we will travel to Oshinibana town and hike up to the mountain." Stated Master Makarov crossing his arms as he said that last part.

"When you get there you will be forced to get past three powerful Wizards that will be preventing you from achieving S-Class. One of them will be myself." Said the Wizard Saint firmly.

"WHAT!?" Came the cries of the whole guild (including me and Gildarts) as master said that. Lee, Eva and Quikora's faces lost all of their colour as Master said that with their mouths wide open in astonishment when hearing that.

"Oh wow, Master's joining in!" "You three will have your hands full now!" "This will be fun to hear about!" "Wonder who the other two are?" "Place your bets everyone!" "You're so done for!" "Glad I wasn't picked." "Good luck you three." "You guys are so screwed now!" "Well this is a surprise to be sure!"

Came the voices of the guild members as they heard the big news. To think that Master himself would be joining the trial!

"Remember, you won't win the trial by default if everyone else gets eliminated before you. You will have to actually complete the trial in order to pass and become S-Class! Now then! Get out there and start training you three!" Master shouted directing that to the three chosen members.

With that being said and done, the rest of the guild went back to discus what they think would happen during the trial this year. Lee, Eva and Quikora all went in their own directions to start planing on how to win. Me and Gildarts stepped off the bench we were standing on to discuss what we think would happen during the trial.

"Is it always like that?" I asked Gildarts as we sat down on the bench we were just sitting on.

"More or less yeah. I think this is the first time Master is partaking in the trial though, how are the candidates supposed to win if he's gonna be in their way!?" Gildarts wondered with a look of disbelief on his face.

"Well I don't know, he is a Wizard Saint after all…" I thought after, me trailing that sentence off at the end.

"What about those other people that Master said would be in the candidates way? There's gonna be him and two others apparently." I tried to think carefully.

"Hmm, I'm not sure who. From what I've heard, only S-Class Wizards are aloud to take part in the trial, but only to stop the candidates from winning." Gildarts answered, him thinking about the identity of the other two individuals.

"Yeah it's weird. Maybe Master is just gonna ask some of his friends to help him for it." I suggested, taking a joking guess.

"Hey… you may be on to something there! I heard that there used to be lots of S-Class Wizards a few years back with Master as their team leader. But they all left the guild a few years back. Maybe Master will ask them?"

'Porlyusica said that she formed a team with Master and four others right? Would Master… actually ask her to help him for it?' I thought, before imagining her with her broom chasing the candidates across Mt Hakobe and all the way back to Magnolia. 'Heh, I think he'll leave her in the forest where she wants to stay.'

"Maybe." I shrugged, looking around to try and find Master Makarov. I eventually spotted him, heading back into his office across the guild. Not wanting to waste any time, I said bye to Gildarts and made my way over to his office, just before he entered.

"Ah, Cade! Did you enjoy seeing the chosen candidates just there? It's more or less like that each year, but with a few differences here and there." Master asked to me, as he opened the door to the office.

"Yeah it was cool to see Master. I was coming to show you something just now. I've been translating more of Malvel's pages as you know, but I was finally able to write down the diary entries on a bit of paper and bring them here if you want to see them?" I questioned, as I took them out of my pocket and showed them to the Master.

"Oh yes of course! Why don't we do it inside of my office?" He suggested happily, as he gestured his head back to the interior of the room.

I nodded my head in agreement, and we both entered Master's office. We both took a seat at his desk, with us on opposite sides of each other. "Now then, let's take a look at them." Said Makarov.

"Here they are." I handed them to Master. Makarov then began to read what they said.

X680, December

It's now been a month since me and Velmal have joined Blue Skull. In that time, I explored the library Blue Skull owns. When I was exploring it, one of the bookshelves almost fell on me, as it was quite old and one of the legs on it was broken. I didn't get hurt thankfully, but at the far back from where the bookshelf I could see a small safe that looks like it was installed here a few years back from what I can gather by all the dust. I was able to find the combination by looking at the bottom of the bookshelf and I was able to open it up. Inside of it I saw a very old spell book that details how to learn Enchantment Magic. I've got no idea what that lets me do, but it must be good as it was locked away. Most of the Blue Skull members have been making fun of me and Velmal, because we don't have any sort of magic yet. I might learn the spells in here to get them to stop harassing the both of us.

X681, February

Well, I've started to learn the spells from this book I found in that safe. Turns out that this kind of magic is a pretty big deal. I casually asked some of the Blue Skull members what Enchantment Magic is, and they said that it's pretty powerful stuff. Apparently Master Level Enchantments, are able to do stuff like shift the terrain and change the weather at the snap of a finger! I haven't finished reading the book yet, so I'm not sure if that kinda stuff is inside of it. I have started to detail the spells inside of this tome that Geoffrey gave us, I have also been learning how to use the spells inside of the book at a decent pace. I know a few basic level enchantments which I've detailed before this diary entry. I think I might learn another magic, to not look suspicious and throw the Blue Skull members off my back.

X681, April

Ok, so Velmal kinda found out that I have been learning Enchantment Magic. I was in our apartment, reading the book to learn some more enchantments when he walked in suddenly on me. He noticed the book and asked what it was. I tried to throw him off by saying that it was the Fire Magic I had been learning as a backup, but he wasn't buying the excuse – we've known each other for too long now, we can basically tell when the other is lying to us.

I was forced to tell him about how I found the book and that I have been learning the magic in the books for a while now. He seemed more interested than angry if anything, and asked if he could study the spells as well and learn them. I was hesitant at first, but he… then casually joked about telling the whole guild I had been hiding this sort of magic for months now, while also giving me a thin smile. I was horrified at what he was suggesting he'd do, so I gave him a copy of the spells for him to learn. I just… can't believe he's do something like that to me…

I could tell that while the Master was reading the pages, he showed about the same emotions I had when reading them for the first time.

With him being surprised that the original copy of the enchantment spells had existed in a safe at one point. And he showed a bit of surprise that Malvel learned another magic, to throw the Blue Skull members off his back. Finally, he looked horrified at the idea of Velmal blackmailing Malvel for the spells.

"Thank you for this information Cade." He thanked me, as he put the pages back on his desk. "You don't mind if I keep these copies do you? I think I'd be good to have them to keep track of what was going on." He requested with a gentle smile.

"Sure I don't mind. In fact I had feeling you would say that, so I brought the first page as well for you!" I said, as I pulled out a sheet of paper from my other pocket and presented it to Master for him to see.

"Oh! Why thank you for that Cade!" Makarov jumped with surprise and happiness. "Thanks for letting me hold on to these copies, they are technically history at this point as they are really the only things left regarding the Blue Skull Guild, Enchantment Magic, and possibly a written report about how the founders of Fairy Tale defeated Blue Skull which took place a good 70'ish years ago now."

"Yeah, it's no big deal. I'll let you if I get anymore!" I nodded as I stood up from my seat and headed out of his office, giving him a wave of goodbye as I exited, closing the door behind me.

When I looked around in the main guildhall, I was surprised to see a lot of people heading out the guilds front door. I ran up and asked a member what was going on and where everyone was going all of a sudden.

"You won't believe what's happening Cade! Gildarts is going up against Ivan!" He explained excitedly.

Oh.

Yes I think that's worth going to see.

There we have it everyone! Hope you enjoyed that chapter! Do leave a review if you liked it!

That's out first 'big' time-skip. We will be getting some of them throughout the story as it goes. I will admit they'll range from a few months to a year at a time. But I don't plan on sticking in the same year for too long.

Anyway in the next chapter we will get to see Gildarts going up against Ivan! Who do you think will win?

Ok I think we all know who will win, but it'll still be cool to see!

Anywho, I shall hopefully see you all in the next chapter!
