Paul POV.
I slowly shut the door and rubbed my forehead. The girl I met yesterday, energetic, happy, and healthy was now on the verge of tears claiming she is tired when everyone can see and tell that she is sick.
I had gotten so worried for Daniella when Sam got the phone call. I was totally ready to phase and dart here if Sam didn't let me come here.
I sighed. I hope she's going to be ok. She is one hell of a girl that's for sure…
I got into my truck and dialed Sam's number.
"hey"
"Hey Paul, How's Dani?" I heard Emily in the background asking about Dani too. She had weirdly grown on everyone for a short period of time… it was as if she was connected to us and… maybe she is… you never know…
"She doesn't look good, she refuses to go to the hospital… I'm heading back now, I told her to rest, maybe Emily can whip some soup up for her?" I heard sam chuckle
"She already has" Of course she has
"Did she save some for me?" I asked jokingly but still with a bit of hope.
"Nope just for Dani" he answered. Aww damn
"Just kidding, she always makes food for us, and also you should be checking on Daniella not food" my thoughts went back to her. She better be resting.
"Of course, duh. I don't know… she looks bad, I can sense it…"
"You sensed it?" Sam asked curiosity laced in his voice "We haven't been able to do that"
"I know… it's weird…" I heard a sigh from Sam.
"Let's talk after you come back…"
"Yeah… See you then"
"You too…" click. I sped towards the Quileute reservation.
I pulled up at Emily's house, it felt like I had entered home…
"Hey…" Emily said from the doorway. "come on"
I followed her in not daring to look at Emily's face.
"Is Dani doing ok?"
"She says she is but I know she isn't" I answered
A.N: I know I keep on delaying updates and this had to be posted long ago but I got diagnosed with dengue so like hehe (I'm not ok but ok) so I have been asked to be 'bedridden' for 10 days and like chill for 3 months (so long) so apologies in advance you can expect an update your way tomorrow :)
