Chapter 2

Harry blinked in confusion at what the woman in front of him just told him, he asked, "What do you mean I'm dead?"

The silver haired woman known as Eris explained, "I had watched what happened to you in your world and I'm afraid you fell through the veil, the veil is a connection to the afterlife and once a person passes through, they are sent to the afterlife and can never return, since you dove in after your godfather then I'm afraid you had also passed."

Harry couldn't believe what he had heard, if what she was saying is true then it means he had died, he thought back to going through the veil and remembered Luna was behind him, he asked, "Wait, what about Luna, is she here, is she still alive in my world?!"

Eris shook her head and said "I'm afraid not, she followed in after you and died as well, she's also gone from your world."

Harry felt his shoulders slump at that, he lowered his head at hearing Luna had died as well and she wasn't even here with him, she must have moved on to the afterlife already with Hermione and Sirius. Harry had hoped he could have saved Hermione and the three of them would have been reunited but now he lost both his fiancées, Harry looked at Eris and asked "So why am I here, are you going to judge me before sending me to my afterlife?"

She shook her head and said "No, actually you are here for a different reason, you are a special individual since there was a prophecy made about you, normally a person can't move on to the afterlife if they have yet to fulfill the prophecy."

Harry cursed at that shocking Eris, "Fuck that, I refuse to go back, I already lost the most important people to me so why would I go back to a world were I'm hated by everyone and a maniac wants me dead, just send me to the afterlife so I can rejoin my parents and my fiancées!"

Eris panicked when she heard that and said "Please don't be hasty, I beg of you, can you please hear me out first before you make your decision?"

Harry saw her put her hands together as a way to beg him, he calmed down and agreed, "Alright, what did you want to tell me?"

She thanked him and continued, "Normally we would send you back to your world but we've been having a problem, there is a world where magic is common and everyone has it, in that world there is someone known as the demon king who has been causing problems for us. We need help from people from other worlds so at random we pick people to ask if they would be willing to be resurrected in that world to help stop the demon king, we give them a list of abilities or gifts that they can take with them to help."

Harry was surprised by what he heard, he didn't know there were other worlds, he asked "Why do you need my help to stop the demon king?"

"Since there is a prophecy made about you it means you were meant to be a hero in your world with great power, I had hoped that you would be able to become powerful in that world and finally defeat the demon king before he finds a way to break through to other worlds."

Again, Harry was stunned at what he just heard, however he scoffed at the idea of him being a hero with great power, "I doubt I'd be any help; I did get good grades at Hogwarts but it's only because Hermione helped me study, even in my world I'm not as great of a wizard as many seem to believe I am."

Eris gave a sad look and said "I had noticed that you weren't at the level you were expected to be, it's a shame so many people were working against you to keep you weak."

Harry suddenly gave her an intense look and asked, "What do you mean by that?"

"I have watched what your life was like and I noticed there were many people trying to keep you from reaching your full potential, one of the main people was your headmaster."

"What do you mean Dumbledore was against me, why, how!?"

"You see, shortly after your parents were killed Dumbledore had illegally taken custody of you and placed you with your abusive relatives, despite knowing your mother never wanted you to meet them, he did this knowing they would abuse you enough that when he showed himself as a kind grandfather you would blindly follow him. A few days later he created a marriage contract for you with a woman named Molly Weasley and gave her access to your vault to steal money from you, the contract would have you marry her daughter Ginevra, after she became pregnant with your child then Dumbledore would have you die fighting Tom Riddle, Dumbledore would have then stepped in to avenge you and become a worshiped hero to everyone, meanwhile the Weasleys would inherit your wealth and use it to support Dumbledore.

The only reason why Dumbledore did not have you die so early on is because the marriage contract didn't work, since Sirius was your legal guardian and was never convicted then he had the power to veto any marriage contract Dumbledore tried to create. Dumbledore knew the entire time Sirius was innocent so he wasn't able to demand a trial since it would have proved he was innocent, he instead waited until Sirius would have died in Azkaban since most people sent there don't live very long. Sirius escaping gave him a chance to try and have him killed, but after finding out you met him he couldn't let him be kissed since you would have lost all trust in him, he started planning for a way to have Sirius killed.

In Hogwarts you were meant to befriend Ronald Weasley as your only friend, it was his job to make you incredibly lazy and prevent you from pursuing more powerful magic, however you befriended Hermione and changed their plans. They were planning on giving you love potions so you would love Ginny and Hermione would love Ron, however at the end of your second year when you kissed Hermione you activated a soul bond that made both of you immune to manipulative potions. Dumbledore and the three Weasleys weren't happy about your relationship so they had planned to get rid of Hermione and Luna, when Dumbledore's elves heard about Malfoy's plan to kidnapped Hermione, they stopped Dobby from warning you and helped with the kidnapping. Since Dumbledore heard that Sirius was going to try and save Hermione, he gifted him a faulty wand that would have gotten him killed, with all three of them gone then they would have been able to continue with their plan to manipulate you."

Harry was left gaping like a fish at what he just heard, as much as he wished to deny it sadly it made too much sense, his whole life he was being manipulated by Dumbledore. He trusted the Weasleys and this whole time they were after his money, it's no wonder Ron was always jealous of him and why Molly kept pushing him towards Ginny, he had even saw them as family but they just wanted his money. Harry wanted to curse and rage, he wanted to punch something and begin throwing stuff, he wanted to curse all four of them for making his life so miserable, Eris seemed to notice this and quickly waved her hand and several dummies appeared, she handed Harry his wand and let him begin firing deadly curses at the dummies.

After a while Harry finally calmed down and sat back in the chair in front of Eris, he spoke up, "Sorry about that, I just hadn't expected to find out they were ruining my life for their own gain."

Nodding, Eris said "I understand, sadly it's not too uncommon for prophesied heroes to learn others have been manipulating them, in your case you also can't access a large amount of your magic because of the piece of soul in your scar."

"Wait what?!" Harry yelled loudly making the goddess jump, "What do you mean I have a piece of soul in my scar!?"

"You see, when Tom Riddle attempted to kill you, he had damaged his own soul and tore pieces off to make sure he couldn't die, a piece of his soul attached itself to you, it gave you the ability to speak parseltongue but has been stealing a large part of your magic your whole life."

Harry reached up to touch his scar, he was horrified to learn a piece of his soul was with him. Eris noticed this and said "You don't need to worry about that piece anymore, I have sealed it away so it can't steal anymore of your magic."

"Why didn't you remove it?"

"Depending on what you choose I can remove it, it won't affect you while we are here. Could we continue with my proposal, please?"

Despite all the shocking news he has just received Harry decided to listen, he gestured for her to continue so Eris did, "Thanks to the prophecy it means you are a hero with great power, I believe that you would be able to defeat the demon king and restore peace to the other world, there is a list of different abilities or even weapons you can choose to be resurrected with. I had also left that piece of soul in you so that you can use it to protect yourself, if you were to come close to dying then the soul piece will die and release the magic it has to completely restore you back to full health. I hope you will consider my request for help and accept this job, if not then I can send you back to your world and even remove the piece of soul from your scar, please take time to think about it and feel free to ask me any question."

Harry thought about what Eris just told him, it wouldn't be too different from what he's already doing since he'd just be stopping another dark lord, although this demon king sounded way more dangerous than Voldemort. Harry thought of something and asked, "If I'm supposed to be the hero of my world then wouldn't going to another world mean I'll be stuck there?"

Eris shook her head and said "No, you see, should you succeed in defeating the demon king then you can choose to return here at any time, since you would have done an important task for us then you would be allowed to return to your world with all the powers you gained while there, you will even be granted any wish you would want."

Feeling surprised again, Harry thought about what she just said, another question popped into his mind, "What if it takes me several years to finally defeat the demon king, by that time Voldemort could have taken over the entire world."

"Time wouldn't move the same there as it did in your world, you see in the other world time moves much faster than it does in yours even though it would feel the same to you, even if you spend years in that world only a few hours would have passed in yours."

Harry was at least glad to hear that, he could end up training in that world and try learning all kinds of new magic, if he focuses on training his magic to become more powerful then he might stand a chance against the demon king and receive his wish, although he wasn't sure what to wish for. If only Hermione were here, she'd know what exactly to-, Harry suddenly had a realization and asked, "Eris, you said I could wish for anything, right?"

Surprised by the question, the girl nodded, "Yes, with the defeat of the demon king you can wish for just about anything you could want."

"Could it revive multiple people too?"

Eris thought of it for a moment before saying, "That shouldn't be too difficult of a wish, you would be able to bring back multiple people."

Harry realized that's what he could do, he had thought of refusing and asking to be sent to the afterlife with his loved ones but with this he could bring them back, He'd be able to see Hermione and Luna and as well as Sirius again. Harry did think of how difficult the task was though, Eris did say they've been sending people from other worlds so it means no one has been able to defeat the demon king yet. Harry thought about it for a while before saying, "Eris, before I agree to anything, would it be possible for me to see the weapons or abilities you could give me first?"

Her smile brightened and she nodded, "Yes, that shouldn't be a problem." She waved her hand and a stack of papers appeared out of nowhere, "You should be able to choose from any of these, please feel free to take as much time as you-" She stood up to approach him, however she forgot how long her dress was and stepped on it, she suddenly yelped as she tripped and dropped the stack of papers.

Harry stood up and asked "Are you ok?"

She sat up and rubbed a slight bruise she had on her face, "Ow, I'm sorry about that, I'll pick them up. I made my dress too long, it's usually another goddess who does this and so I'm not used to this, maybe one of my outfits when I'm a thie-, when I visit the mortals would be better fit then this long elegant one."

She used a bit of magic and waved it over her body and her dress transformed to a much smaller one, the new dress gave her legs much more mobility to move around in. She started picking up the papers and Harry bent down to help her, he looked at some of the papers and on first glance the weapons and abilities looked impressive. After grabbing a few he looked at her and said "Hey Eris-"

Harry stopped when he looked towards the goddess, she was facing away from him bending over picking up more paper, she probably didn't know but something precious to her was on display, her ass! Eris expression turned into a frown. "Her name is Aqua… she is… above me in terms of how many followers she has with her followers growing daily. Though her people don't worship or celebrate her nearly as much as mine do. Though since she has more, she is ranked as a goddess above me. She is the one who usually does it… but I interfered because I didn't want her to sabotage you like the others. You see, she just throws these documents everywhere with the gifts and never helps them. She then rushes them to pick a weapon and never have the chance to actually USE the weapon first as a test trial. So, people don't ever fully understand what they chose, how it works, or if it really is a good fit for how they fight. They just are rushed and choose the first thing they would see as useful and not something that would actually be good for them overall. So, I forced myself to take care of you instead so you can actually choose what you want and try out anything that sparks your interest. Aqua was about to pick you but someone else caught her interest so she went to them, that gave me the chance to pick you."

Harry was surprised by her words, if the demon king is such a huge threat, then why was the other goddess not taking the threat seriously. He shook his head and decided to focus on the options Eris gave him, he read over the descriptions they had before picking one that could suit him. Harry found a staff that was said to cause a massive explosion, the explosion can only be cast once a day since it absorbs the mana around it, however you can even store your own magic into the staff to allow it to cast again, once you have enough magic you could fill it automatically and cast more explosions.

Harry pulled out the paper and said to the goddess, "I'd like to test this one."

"Sure," With a wave of her hand a staff appeared and she handed it to Harry, Harry saw the staff was tall and it swirled at the end, he noticed a small glowing red ball at the center of the swirl and realized it measured how much magic the staff had. When Harry took hold of the staff he felt a rush of knowledge to his mind, he understood how to cast the spell and what would be a safe distance to stand in order to avoid being damaged by the spell. He decided to focus on the empty field Eris created and aimed his staff, he could feel the rush of magic through the staff as he directed it and the red ball began to grow brighter and brighter, he focused on where he wanted to the explosion to occur and soon several runic circles began to appear in the air, Harry could feel the magic pushing everything around him, Eris had to hold down her skirt as the rush of wind was causing her skirt to move, Harry felt himself direct the magic in the staff to the desired destination and cast, "Explosion!"

The blast was far bigger than he had expected, there was a massive explosion that was deafening as it created a giant fireball, thankfully they weren't close enough to be hit but Harry did feel the shockwave. When the blast died down Harry was able to see where he had cast and his eyes widened, there was a massive crater where the blast had hit and he could see many nearby trees were now missing, he couldn't believe this staff had that much power, he noticed the glowing red ball died down and soon it became a dull grey showing the magic had been used, remembering the knowledge he gained he tried to focus on pushing his magic into the staff, to his surprise the bottom of the ball began to turn red, at the current rate it would refill in maybe an hour or two.

Eris asked, "What do you think of the staff?"

Harry turned to her and saw the goddess was standing closer than before, he looked at the staff in his hand and said "It holds a lot of power; however, I don't think I'll be able to use it, the blast could end up hurting people that are too close to it and I won't be able to use it indoors or in caves."

Eris nodded and said "I understand," She took back the staff and Harry saw it vanish, "Please feel free to look over the rest of the papers and take your time to pick out the right gift for you."

Harry turned to the rest of the papers and began to flip through them, there was one that gave him the power of telekinesis, another that gave him control over all metal, even one that could allow him to cast spells with his eyes, he thought some were strange until he noticed there was one ability that caught his attention. The ability read that he'd be able to absorb any element into his body and for five minutes he'd have control over the element, he could train the ability to expand the time but five minutes was the current limit and he could train to gain complete mastery over the elements. Harry handed the paper to Eris and said "I'd like to try this one."

Nodding, she placed her hand on Harry's chest and her hand started to glow, Harry could once again feel the rush of knowledge to his mind and the glow momentarily blinded him, because of this he could not see Eris. The goddess could feel how under his baggy clothes Harry had more muscle than he showed, she almost let her hand start to roam his body wanting to feel more but she snapped out of it and focused. The glow died down and she reluctantly removed her hand, "You should have the ability now."

Harry could feel how the ability worked, he walked over to one of the fountains and dipped his hand in the water. There was a new sensation as his magic wanted to absorb the water through his hand, he focused and felt his body take in some of the water and his magic merged with it, he suddenly felt as though his magic could now cover the entire fountain. Harry pulled out his hand then slowly raised his hand and saw how the water began to rise out of the fountain, the amount was small at first but he slowly continued to increase its size. The water continued to rise up and grow until Harry began to feel as though he were beginning to struggle, he allowed the rest of the water to fall back into the fountain while he controlled the amount he could. Judging from the water he could control it must have been enough to fill a barrel, the paper said if he trained this ability, he could eventually control even entire lakes. He raised his other hand and began to make the water flow around him, he made it take many shapes and even split off a small part of it, with the knowledge he had he focused and managed to fire a water bullet, it had enough force to hurt but not seriously injure.

Eris saw Harry drop the water back into the fountain, she smiled at seeing how he was handling the ability and wondered if he might end up choosing that ability. Her eyes soon widened and her face turned red when she saw Harry suddenly strip out of his robes, she covered her eyes in embarrassment but some part of her was curious, she moved her fingers and peaked through to stare as Harry stripped down to his boxers, the next moment he dove into the fountain.

Harry saw the fountain was deeper than he thought and with his knowledge of the ability he dove in, once he was fully submerged, he could feel how well he could control the water. He was able to manipulate the water to help him swim faster than he should have been able to, he even noticed he could breathe so he wouldn't have to worry about drowning. Harry thought about how useful this ability could be, he could feel his control of the other elements would be on the same level he just showed; however, he felt a lot of this could even be done with his own magic if he practiced enough, he wondered if choosing this ability would actually limit him.

Having made his decision Harry swam up and breached the surface, he swam over and climbed out where his clothes lay. The whole time Eris kept staring at Harry through her fingers, she had felt the muscles he had but seeing him drenched and the way his muscles glistened made the goddess mentally save the image in her mind, Harry grabbed his wand and was able to use a quick drying charm to remove the water from himself, Eris watched him get dressed and remembered what she was supposed to be doing, she pushed her blush down and tried to look more professional. Once Harry was fully dressed again, he approached the goddess, "It's a useful ability but I don't think it'll be right for me, the magic didn't feel too different from my own so I don't think I'll be needing it."

Nodding, Eris said, "I understand, please feel free to test another gift."

Once the gift was removed Harry began to flip through the papers again, there was one weapon he tested, it was a crossbow that absorbed his magic to conjure bolts and add more power to the weapon. Eris conjured several dummies and Harry was able to feel the crossbow lock onto each target, his eyes focused on the certain spots and the weapon locked onto it, each bolt struck its mark even when he aimed away from the dummy. Harry could see how useful the weapon would be but it wasn't that different from a spell Hermione had found, his spell allowed him to place a mark on his target and his next spell would land a direct hit, it was how he defeated the dragon in the tournament.

He searched through the papers again and tested out a few more until he got to one, he noticed it was a sword similar to a katana, the description said it could slash targets from a distance and cause a great amount of damage to his target. Eris handed him the weapon before walking forward and raising her hand to summon several dummies. Harry felt the weapon absorb his magic before he focused on the farthest dummy, he slashed his sword and felt as though he cast a spell the moment he directed the attack. Razor winds shot out towards the dummy and the next moment the dummy was cut in half.

Harry felt surprised and Eris said "That was wonderful, please continue to test that weapon on more of the dummies, I will even increase their strength with each one you destroy."

Eris walked forward and waved her hand over the dummy, Harry asked, "Eris, can you please move, I don't want to risk hitting you."

Eris simply smiled at him and said, "You don't need to worry about hurting me, while we are here, I can remain perfectly unharmed, please continue to test the weapon."

Harry decided to trust her so he focused on pushing his magic into the sword, the power and distance of the attack depended on how much magic he used, Harry once again slashed his sword and sent another razor wind from his sword towards the dummy, once again he cut it in half. Harry tested this with each dummy as Eris increased their defense, he had successfully cut down each of them and Eris clapped at the performance.

Eris asked "How is the weapon, is it to your liking?"

Harry looked at the katana and examined it before answering, "It's a powerful weapon but I see a flaw in it."

Tilting her head to the side and pouting cutely, Eris asked, "What flaw?"

"Each time it only slashes one enemy, even if the attack cuts through the enemy, it only damages what's behind it, if I'm facing multiple people then I doubt they would stand in a straight line."

Eris perked up at that and said, "There's another ability the weapon has, hold your right hand out to the side and let it drop."

Harry decided to listen and did as he was told, to his surprise he felt something pull his hand and saw a strap appear connecting the sword to his hand. "What the?"

Eris explained, "You see the weapons stay with you to prevent you from losing them, they can be stored away when you decide you don't need it for the moment. Try pouring your magic into the sword and slowly wave the sword around in small circles, you'll see wind start to appear around it."

Harry listened and began to slowly wave his right hand in circles and the sword started to lazily wave around, he focused his magic into the sword and he noticed a miniature tornado began to form around the sword. The wind seemed to stop growing but now he wasn't sure what to do, he asked, "What do I do?"

Eris waved her hand behind her and made a group of dummies appear, she then told him, "When you feel the attack is ready pull the sword up and catch the handle in your hand, unleash the attack directly at the dummies and see what it does!"

Harry focused on the swirling sword connected to his hand, when he felt the wind around it was strong enough, he pulled it up and caught its handle, without hesitation he aimed for the dummies and unleashed another razor wind at them. Harry soon realized another flaw; he was so focused on the sword that he didn't realize he unleashed the attack too soon and it was rushing towards Eris. The goddess just stared in surprise as the wind rushed towards her, she quickly raised her arms up just as the wind hit her. Harry felt worried at first thinking he might have seriously injured the goddess; he moved to try and help however he stopped when the attack vanished and froze at what he saw.

Eris let out a shriek, she remained unharmed showing the weapons couldn't injure her, however she had not taken into account how they would have affected her clothes. Her clothes were torn to shreds in a matter of moments and once the attack passed, she stood there completely naked. She shrieked and quickly used her arms to cover her chest, Harry ended up getting a full view of the goddess in all her glory. Harry ended up staring at her legs and saw how slender and smooth they looked, she had wide hips and a thin waist that complimented her ass, he silently wished he could have gotten a view. He looked towards her chest but noticed something seemed off, her chest appeared to be smaller than he would have thought, he looked at the shredded pieces of clothes on the ground and noticed something else was laying on the ground. Eris noticed Harry was looking at her and she blushed heavily and yelled, "Don't Look!"

Eris shook her head and instead said she should have listened and stepped away, it was awkward for a few silent seconds before Harry cleared his throat, "Anyway, I don't think this weapon would be a good fit for me, I could end up doing more damage."

Nodding, they finally faced each other but they were still blushing in embarrassment, Eris took back the sword and made it disappear along with the paper. Harry picked up the papers and looked through the last of them but none of them caught his attention, some of these abilities felt similar to his magic so he felt maybe it could be something he could learn on his own, plus the weapons just seemed enchanted and with his grades in ancient runes and arithmancy he felt maybe with enough practice he could copy each of these weapons.

Harry let out a sigh and turned to Eris and said "Eris, I'm sorry but I don't feel like any of these will be a good match for me." The goddess was surprised, even though Aqua usually rushes everyone she hadn't heard of someone actually refusing to take a gift. Harry handed her back the papers and said, "I'm sorry for having wasted your time."

Eris was quick to shake her head, "N-No, it's no problem, like I said I would have preferred you tested them all to find one that would work well for you." She made the papers vanish, "If you won't accept any of the weapons or abilities, then what would you like instead?"

Harry thought about it and looked at the wand he had in his wand holster, he already knew some dangerous spells and if he could improve in that world then he would focus on strengthening his magic, he answered, "I would like to take just my magic with me, some of those abilities felt familiar with my magic so I think I can focus on improving my own magic."

Surprised, Eris thought about it but soon she gave him a smile and nodded, "Very well, I will make sure to listen to your request." She pointed her hand to a different spot and a glowing magic circle appeared, "Please stand in that circle and I will send you to the new world."

Harry felt a bit nervous; he was about to go to a new world to fight a threat that sounds more dangerous than Voldemort. He took a deep breath and resolved himself, if he could defeat the demon king then he can use his wish to bring back Hermione and Luna, he gently touched the ring he still wore and looked at their stones, he promised them he would save them no matter what.

Harry stepped into the magic circle, as soon as he did, he felt Eris press her hands against his back and even rest her forehead on him, he heard her voice, "I believe you can do it, Harry. You have far more potential than you believe you have, in your world you have already done amazing things, I believe you'll be a great hero in this world too. The whole time she used her power to change his magic, she had hoped her help would prove to be useful in the new world. Harry felt her step back so he turned to her and nodded, "I promise I'll stop the demon king and save everyone."

She gave him a bright smile as the circle around them grew brighter and soon Harry felt he was pulled away from that location, he wondered where he would end up. Eris watched him leave and hoped Harry would be alright, she felt she should have told him she sent his body there earlier than him but she knew it would turn out alright.

Harry felt himself begin to stir awake, he felt like his body was stiff and he felt worse than he felt when he would normally wake up. He noticed the room he was in was well lit and he was lying in a comfortable bed, Harry sat up and felt a slight headache, he felt a bit confused wondering what just happened, he blinked to try and get his eyes adjusted to the room. The sound of a door opening caught his attention and he turned to where it came from, he noticed a woman walked in, while his vision was still blurry Harry felt his eyes widen when he saw the long bushy brown hair and large chest, it was Hermione! He vaguely remembered something happened but he thought it might have just been a dream, without wasting any time he moved and said "Hermione!"

He got out of bed and moved towards her, he closed his eyes and captured her lips in a passionate kiss. He pulled her close to have her body pressed up against him, feeling her breasts press against his chest. Harry was confused wondering what was going on, he thought of what the girl said and hearing the name Eris reminded him of everything he went through, he realized he was in the other world. He looked down at the girl that was hugging him tightly, he suddenly felt another pair of arms wrap around his neck, he looked at the woman he had mistaken for Hermione before she tried to kiss him again. Harry managed to hold them back and say, "Wait! Wait! I think there's been a big misunderstanding!"

While Harry was trying to push the smaller girl off of him and hold back Amy there was another set of footsteps that entered the room, they heard someone clear their throat and the noise caught the attention of the two girls, they all turned and Harry was surprised at what he saw. Standing at the doorway was a short older looking dog man, the dog man seemed to be well dressed and seemed to be smiling at them, Harry noticed the dog man bore a close resemblance to a corgi.

Both Amy and the little girl finally let go of Harry, although they both still stuck close to his side, the dog man spoke up, "I am glad to see you are finally awake young man, I was worried you had frozen to death out there. Allow me to introduce myself, I am the mayor of Samuidoh and we would like to welcome you to our village."

Harry was left confused not knowing what to say, he realized he should have asked Eris about the world she was sending him to, remembering his manners Harry bowed and said, "Thank you sir, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Harry Potter."

The mayor smiled and said "Please, there's no need to be so formal, just call me Mayor, it's a pleasure to meet you Harry Potter, I hope that both Amy and Mia here have been taking good care of you."

Before Harry could speak Mia spoke first, "Of course we would take good care of him, he's Amy's mate and my new big brother!"

There was a long awkward silence at that, Harry glanced over at Amy and noticed the look she had and how her tail kept wagging back and forth. He then heard the mayor begin to laugh joyfully before saying, "That's certainly unexpected but not unwelcomed, may I say congratulations!"

Harry tried to speak "Wait, I-"

The mayor cut him off by simply waving his hand and saying, "Now, now, there's no need to be shy, since the two of you have already become so close then I'm certain Amy here would love to give you a tour of our peaceful village."

"But-"

The mayor seemed to check his watch before saying "Well, it was a pleasure to meet you Harry Potter, I'm afraid I must be going, once again I'm glad to welcome you to our little village."

The dog man simply turned and left the room before Harry could say another word, placing a hand to his face Harry groaned at what just happened. He seemed to remember the two girls that were with him, he turned to the two and bowed his head and said "I'm sorry for what I did, I mistook you for someone else and took advantage of you, I swear I didn't mean to do that to you!"

Amy was quick to respond, "N-no, you don't need to apologize, I swear I'm not angry at what happened," The blush on her face increased as she thought "I wouldn't mind if we continued."

Harry continued, "I mistook you for my fiancée Hermione."

The girl's ears seemed to droop and her tail stopped wagging at his words, she repeated "F… Fiancée?"

Mia noticed Amy's reaction and decided to speak up, "There's no need to worry, since you're feeling better, we can give you a tour of our village, you should probably change into some better clothes to wear for the cold."

At her words Harry glanced down at his clothes and saw he was wearing a different outfit, he suddenly looked worried and asked "Where are my robes!?"

Harry looked around trying to spot his robes, Mia was quick to put his mind at ease, "They should be in the closet, Amy had to remove your clothes in order to make sure you weren't injured, she spent the last few days taking care of you."

Mia opened the closet and Harry felt relieved to see his robes were in there, he walked towards them and reached into his pockets and saw the expansion charms on them were still active, he was glad to see he didn't lose any of his stuff. Hearing Mia's words made him realize he had been unconscious for days, he turned back to Amy and showed his gratitude, "Thank you so much for all that you have done for me, I don't know how I can possibly repay you!"

Amy, feeling a bit embarrassed, said "N-No, there's no need for that, I'm glad I could help you."

Mia seemed to have gotten a mischievous smile as she continued, "Since you were freezing, she used her own body heat to warm you up, often sleeping in the same bed as you, she even made sure to thoroughly bathe you."

Amy's face turned bright red at that and yelled, "Mia!"

Mia just gave a cheeky smile and said "Grab whatever clothes you want; we'll give you a tour once you're dressed."

She was quick to leave and Amy followed after her, he heard a bit of arguing but the door soon closed and Harry was left alone. He felt a bit embarrassed hearing how she had taken care of him but was quick to shake it off. The first thing Harry did was look around before finding his wand holster sitting on a nearby shelf, he felt relieved to see he still had his wand. Harry searched the closet and after a few minutes got dressed in some decent winter clothes, he put on his wand holster and made his way out the door. He met up with Amy and Mia and the two girls mentioned he looked nice in the winter clothes he had chosen, soon they took him out the building and started the tour.

For the past few days Harry had been living in their home, as it turns out both Amy and Mia are farmers and while they were out, they had found him unconscious in the snow and brought him home. Harry had seen some of the villagers and noticed the animal features many of them seemed to have, he had asked the two girls about the animal features. Mia questioned if beastfolk weren't common where he was from, before he could answer Mia just continued by explaining that their village was mostly made up of beastfolk. Harry noticed that the beastmen were the ones who looked more like animals while the beastwomen just looked like human women with animal ears and tails, Amy explained she was a dog while Mia was a fox.

Harry noticed the village was bigger than he expected but it was mostly because of how far some of the buildings were from each other. They had shown him where some of the shops had been in case he needed to buy a few items, he noticed the shops sold various items he hadn't seen before, the shops were mostly empty since not many wanted to buy anything. The girls had introduced him to some of the people of the village and told him where some of them lived, he had even been shown where the mayor lived and was surprised to see it looked more like a simple home, he thought an important figure like the mayor would have a bigger home. They explained the mayor had a daughter named Atalanta who was currently away from the village, she would return to visit the village every few months to try and help them get by.

Finally, the two girls brought him to the fields where they grow all their vegetables, despite the cold and snowy weather he noticed there were already some crops currently growing, most of the field looked empty but there was one section where they were able to grow. Harry looked closely and noticed in the area where the crops were growing there was what looked like small crystals.

Harry asked, "What's that?"

Amy noticed what he was pointing at and explained, "They're called climate crystals, our village is famous for growing the best vegetables but it's hard to grow anything in the cold, these crystals are able to allow our vegetables to grow even during a blizzard, unfortunately they don't reach far and are expensive."

Harry was surprised to hear this, from what he could see they only had about five crystals and it wasn't even enough to cover a tenth of the field. Harry started to wonder if there was anything he could do to help, he's pretty sure Neville told him about setting up wards that create the right environment for plants to grow. Around the field there were a few fires currently burning but it looked like they weren't helping much.

He was pulled from his thoughts when he suddenly heard someone shout "White wolves!"

Harry had to look closely but was able to see a pack of wolves moving towards them, their fur made them blend in with the snow and made them harder to see. Some of the farmers picked up their makeshift weapons and were ready to fight them off, however most of them fled at the sight of the wolves. From his side Mia suddenly shot forward, Harry was stunned to see she could run so fast. Amy moved in front and said "Stay behind me!"

One of the wolves noticed Mia and tried rushing at her, however Harry noticed Amy's hand began to glow and she raised it up, suddenly a pillar of rock came up and struck the wolf from underneath, this caught it off guard. Mia got close and smirked before kicking the wolf with all her might and sent it crashing back into another wolf. Harry noticed these two were the only ones doing anything to stop the wolves, the other farmers stood protectively near their crops.

Amy spoke up, "Harry, stay back, white wolves are very dangerous in packs, we'll handle this!"

Harry however couldn't, he could see Mia and Amy were the only ones with experience while everyone else just stood ready to defend, he flicked his wrist and caught his wand, he cast, "Homenum revelio."

Harry felt the presence of all nine remaining farmers including Mia and Amy, he noticed there were a few people nearby and one of them was heading in their direction, in total he counted twelve wolves. He saw Mia rush towards the wolves and Amy was quick to begin moving the ground underneath them, when the wolves rushed at Mia Amy was quick to knock them off balance and use some of the rocks for Mia to jump off of. Mia landed a few kicks and tried to make the wolves run but they stayed ready to keep fighting. Harry decided to finally move, he raised his wand and cast a silent incendio maxima. A jet of flames suddenly blocked the wolves from moving any closer to the farmers, the flames continued to burn with magic and everyone turned to Harry. Harry tried to herd the wolves away from the farmers, he made another wall of fire to try and push them away, however he left a path wide open to him, the wolves began to rush towards him and he tried to think of what spell he should use.

"Light of saber!"

A powerful bright light shot past him and rushed towards the wolves, a few wolves were far enough to avoid the attack, however most of them were cut by the spell. Harry covered his eyes from the bright light, once the light vanished, he looked and noticed nine of the twelve wolves had been cut to pieces and the snow around them had been turned red with blood. The remaining wolves saw the danger and quickly ran away, Harry raised his wand and was about to stop them but Amy grabbed his arm and said "No, let them go."

The remaining farmers watched the wolves run away and started cheering, their crops were safe for another day. Harry lowered his wand and watched the wolves run away; he soon heard a new voice.

"E-Excuse me."

Harry and Amy turned and saw a girl was standing there, he noticed the girl had two ribbons in her dark brown hair, she was wearing a comfy red winter coat, she had a white scarf wrapped around her neck, what caught his attention the most was her brilliant red eyes.

Amy decided to be the one who spoke, "Yes, who are you?"

The girl seemed nervous but continued, "Um, my name is Yunyun, I… I came here to help your village."

She pulled out a flier and handed it to Amy, Harry looked at the paper and was glad to see the language translate into something he could read, the flier read that they needed help from adventurers to help protect their crops from monster attacks. Amy smiled and said "That's wonderful, the mayor will be happy to know an adventurer finally accepted the job!"

Yunyun shyly nodded, Mia came up to them and said "That was amazing, I've never seen magic that powerful before! Hey, hey, you have red eyes right, are you a crimson demon!?"

Harry had no idea what a crimson demon was but he noticed Yunyun became nervous but answered, "Y-Yes, my name is Yunyun, a member of the crimson demons."

Mia just looked excited and said "That's so cool, the crimson demons are some of the strongest mages out there! Hey, hey, I wonder which of you has the stronger magic, you or my big brother Harry!"

Mia gestured towards Harry and this is when Harry and Yunyun finally met, they stared into each other's eyes and Harry noticed for a moment Yunyun glanced up at his scar. Yunyun shyly looked away but tried to speak, "H-h-hello, I-I-It's nice to m-m-meet you."

Harry decided to introduce himself, "It's nice to meet you, my name is Harry Potter."

They were interrupted when a farmer came up and spoke to Yunyun, "Excuse me miss, I wanted to inform you that we have gathered the corpses of the wolves you killed, they can be sold at our shop in town and fetch a nice price."

"Oh, uh, t-thank you." Yunyun stuttered.

Amy then grabbed hold of Yunyun's arm and said "Come on, we should introduce you to the mayor."

Both Amy and Mia pulled her along and Harry decided to follow along, they soon arrived at the building he saw earlier and were greeted by the same corgi mayor Harry saw earlier. The beastman invited them in and Yunyun explained why she was there.

The mayor nodded after her explanation, "It's wonderful that you've come to help us, we sadly don't have too many adventurers here that can help. Amy and Mia here have been doing there best but we can't just rely on them every time there are monsters."

Mia's tail started wagging with excitement, "Maybe now we'll be able to harvest more crops, if we do can we have a feast!"

Amy looked down at the excited girl and simply smiled, "We'll see."

Harry decided to offer his own help, "I would like to help out as well."

Everyone turned to him before Mia excitedly said, "That would be amazing, you can use more of those amazing flames!"

The mayor seemed to smile and say "Wonderful, we would be delighted to have you help as well. With both of you having accepted the job then please allow me to explain what the job is, you see our village is famous for our vegetables, they are considered to be some of the tastiest you could ever have. Sadly, with how up north we live we often get weather like this that affects our crops, with how rare and expensive climate crystals are we can't afford enough to grow more vegetables. The crystals also attract monsters who want to escape the cold and they usually eat or trample our crops; our crops do grow quickly but with how often the monsters show up we aren't able to grow many."

Yunyun nodded, she had seen where they grew their crops and was certain as long as she remained on guard, she'd be able to stop any monster coming their way. Harry thought of the situation and wondered if there was anything he could do, he would need to get to his trunk since he might have something there that could help.

Both Harry and Yunyun agreed to take the job and the mayor smiled, "Thank you so much for your help, hopefully we'll be able to have a good harvest soon."

Mia excitedly approached Yunyun and said, "Hey Yunyun, you need a place to stay, right? Why don't you come stay with us, we live close to the fields and you'll be able to help us!"

Yunyun seemed nervous but agreed, with their business with the mayor over the group left and made their way back to the house.

Harry entered the room Amy and Mia gave him while they showed Yunyun to her room, he locked the door behind him and went to the closet to pull out his robes, he reached inside his pocket and pulled out his shrunken trunk. He set it down and tapped it with his wand and made it grow to full size, he looked at the multiple locks it had and tapped the fourth one, the trunk came open and Harry saw his library. He smirked when he remembered buying this trunk and telling Hermione about the library, he wanted to surprise her so for their anniversary he let her buy as many books as she wanted, he had to get an expansion on the library. Harry stepped into his trunk and walked through the library to find the right book; he was at least glad Hermione insisted on keeping the place organized so it was easier to find the book he needed.

He soon came across the section on wards and grabbed the book he needed, for the next hour Harry read the book on setting up wards and even checked for some of the wards he remembered Neville telling him they set up for greenhouses. There was an easy way for him to set up the wards with his wand but the wards would fall after some time, he looked into runes and found there was a way for him to keep the wards up if he created runestones to power them.

Harry soon heard a knock at the door and left his trunk, he closed the trunk before answering the door, Amy stood there and said, "Sorry to disturb you, I wanted to let you know I made lunch for everyone."

Harry followed her into the dining room and saw Yunyun and Mia were waiting for them, he saw they were having vegetable stew. Harry thanked Amy for the food and as soon as he ate a spoonful, he felt his eyes widen, it tasted delicious. "This is really good."

Hearing that made Amy smile, "Thank you, we grew it ourselves."

Harry asked Amy about some of the recipes she knew and Amy could see Harry was excited to learn about them, Harry always liked cooking ever since his relatives made him learn how to. Amy explained some of the recipes she knew but said they couldn't cook most of them since they haven't had a good harvest in a while, since Amy is a druid, she's able to focus more on nature magic and help the crops, sadly she hasn't leveled up that much to improve her skills.

Yunyun listened to the conversation but hadn't said much, she smiled seeing that she was able to eat lunch with others but still felt too nervous to really say anything. Mia had asked about her magic and being a crimson demon but the excited fox girl seemed to ask a new question as soon as it came up. Harry did learn more about Amy and Mia and was surprised to learn that despite being shorter than them Mia was actually seventeen, Amy revealed she's actually twenty years old. Yunyun admitted she's fifteen years old and Harry admitted he's also fifteen, Mia soon started to call Harry her little brother instead of big brother, Yunyun tried to ask why she called him her brother but Amy blushed and quickly put an end to that conversation.

Once they've all eaten Mia suggested they go and patrol the fields to make sure there aren't anymore monsters nearby, they all got ready and left out into the snow to patrol. Harry could feel even with the winter clothes he had he was starting to feel cold, with a quick wave of his wand he cast a warming charm on himself. Yunyun noticed this and asked "What was that spell you used?"

"Oh, it was a warming charm, it'll keep me warm while we're patrolling."

Yunyun looked interested and said "I've never heard of that kind of spell, how many points did you use on it?"

Harry looked confused at the mention of points, he explained, "It's a spell I learnt a while back, it's not that difficult to cast."

To make his point he aimed his wand at Yunyun and cast the same warming charm, she was about to ask what he did but she suddenly felt she wasn't cold anymore, she felt warm and cozy as though she were sitting by the fireplace. She said, "I feel so much better now, thank you for that!"

Amy and Mia noticed and Mia asked "Hey, hey, can you do that to us too?"

Harry cast the same charm on the two girls and they felt the same warm cozy feeling Yunyun was feeling, they all thanked him before continuing to where the climate crystals were. The farmers thanked them for their help before returning to their crops, Mia, Amy, and Yunyun started to walk around the field but Harry decided to inspect the crystals. The three girls didn't mind so they moved onto their patrol, Harry entered the area of the climate crystal and noticed the sudden change, he pulled out his wand and removed the warming charm and even took off his coat.

The area of the crystals felt warmer and he felt the crystals were giving off a substitute for sunlight that helped the plants, Harry approached the crystal and examined it closely, he asked a nearby farmer if he could touch it, they told him sure since he wouldn't deactivate them since the mayor used his own magic to activate them. Harry used his wand and cast a charm to examine the crystal, he noticed the crystals absorbed magic from the area to keep working, they created a perfect environment around them to allow plants to grow. Harry thought back to the times Neville told him about the greenhouses, he listed all the wards needed to create a perfect environment to grow plenty of plants. Harry was glad Hermione made him study ahead so he had a better understanding of wards, he can cast simple wards with his wand but if he wanted to try and recreate the same effect as the crystals then he'd need some ward stones, luckily, he had a few back in his trunk he could easily carve.

Once he was certain he had everything he needed he went back to his patrol, he waved over the girls and they came over, Amy asked "What's wrong Harry?"

"I have an idea that might be able to make the patrol much easier, I can cast a ward around the field to prevent any monsters from entering the area."

The three girls were surprised by this, one of the farmers overheard this and came up to the group, the farmer was a big burly bear and asked "Excuse me, I couldn't help but overhear, what do you mean you can ward the field to prevent monsters from entering?"

Harry turned to the farmer and explained, "My magic will create a ward around the field that will block out anything trying to enter, it can act like a solid barrier to keep anything from just wandering in."

They looked impressed but Yunyun asked "W-Wouldn't that trap the farmers inside?"

Harry shook his head, "No, as long as I cast the ward with them inside then they can enter anytime they want."

"If you can really do that then that would be a huge help." Said the farmer.

Harry pulled out his wand and began to slowly walk around the field while muttering an incantation, he wanted to make the ward as strong as he could but he couldn't overuse his magic or it'll fail. The girls and the farmer watched as Harry slowly made his way around the field while waving his wand and muttering, after nearly half an hour Harry felt he was sweating as he continuously used his magic, he never tried to ward an area this big. Harry soon reached the spot where he started, he asked Mia to stand outside the ward. Once she was outside the ward Harry completed the ward and for a moment a magic barrier appeared around the field before vanishing.

Harry took a deep breath after that, he felt he was covered in sweat and he would need a shower after this. Yunyun walked up to him and asked "Did it work?"

Harry smiled and said "Yeah, I managed to ward the entire area."

One of the farmers reached his hand out to try and touch the ward but felt nothing was there, Harry noticed this and asked Mia, "Mia, can you reach for my hand?"

He held his hand out to her, Mia reached for his hand only for her hand to stop when it touched an invisible wall. Mia's eyes widened and she placed both her hands on the invisible wall and tried to push her way in, the farmers all stared in amazement. Yunyun spoke up, "How did you do that, what kind of spell is that, just how many points did you spend to get that?!"

Harry didn't know how to answer, he tried to keep it simple, "My magic is… different from normal. I guess you can say I'm able to better control my magic however I like."

Yunyun looked amazed at that but pouted slightly since it didn't look like a spell she could learn, she thought about her village and how destructive they can be and thought a spell like this would be useful.

The same bear farmer came up and said "This is amazing, now we won't have to worry about any white wolves, lovely rabbits, or any other monster sneaking up on us!"

Harry was confused hearing something called a lovely rabbit, however before he could ask the farmer suddenly pulled him into a hug, Harry felt he was being crushed as the farmer said "Thank you so much, you have no idea how much this will help us, we might be able to harvest enough to be able to properly feed everyone!"

Harry managed to get the bear to let go before saying "I'm glad to hear that, however I think I might be able to help again soon."

Amy asked "What do you mean?"

"I examined the crystal and I think I might be able to recreate it but expand it enough to cover the entire field." Harry explained.

They all stared in shock at that news, the farmer asked "Y-You can really do that?"

"I can't make any promises but I believe it might be possible, I'll need to practice some more with my magic and review what I know but I believe I can possibly have it set up after a week."

"That would be amazing!" Amy sounded excited.

The bear man laughed and said "The entire village will owe you if you can pull that off, I'll hope for the best, in the mean time I think your friend is having too much fun." He pointed towards Mia.

Mia had heard everything but was having too much fun with the ward, she kept her hands on it and kept making all kinds of faces pressed up against it. Amy pulled her away from the barrier and they all stepped through it, Mia asked "Do you think you can really do it?"

"I'll do my best to make it happen." Harry answered.

Mia cheered and said "I know you can do it, you're my brother so there's no way you can't do it!"

Harry smiled at seeing her excitement, Mia then turned to Amy and said "Amy, I can see why you want Harry to be your mate, maybe he can give you lots of puppies once you two get married!"

Everyone became silent at that, Amy brought her hand up to her mouth and blushed, she glanced at Harry and looked away, her hips swayed slightly as her tail wagged happily, "Well, I wouldn't mind."

Harry felt his face turn red with embarrassment, Yunyun blushed as well and looked away, although she also kept glancing at Harry. Harry tried to say "Wait a min-"

He was cut off by Mia hugging him and saying "Yay, Amy and I always wanted a big family!"

Harry tried to explain that they weren't getting married, Mia smiled cheekily and said then he could marry her instead, the whole time the bear farmer seemed to be thinking of something while he looked at Harry.
