chapter one

After the Second War and Harry Potter's victory over Voldemort

Nothing is as it was anymore

The wizarding world in Britain and the entire world certainly rejoiced over the victory over the power of darkness and Voldemort.

But there was a price paid for this victory, many victims, especially the victims of the Battle of Hogwarts, who included young men and women .

Among these victims is Fred Weasley.

The Weasley family was subjected to the disaster of Fred's death.

The family was shocked and overwhelmed with sadness.

The family tried to move forward and overcome the sadness, and the family succeeded in continuing with the memory of Fred with them.

After burying Fred, Arthur felt guilty and helpless.

His inability to protect his son and he hold himself responsible deep down.

The questions kept repeating in his head: "Why - if - how did this happen?"

Molly and George's condition was very bad, and the family tried to console them, and Arthur tried to console them as well.

But Arthur would stay up some nights at the Hog's Head pub to drink and forget the worries of the morning so that he could support his families and silence the many questions that had been accumulating in his mind throughout the day.

There he met her at the pub.

She was going for almost the same reason.

She was fleeing from the memories of the battle and her inability to save her friends, colleagues, and students. She was drinking at night to silence the questions in her head as well.

There he met her at the pub.

Their interaction at first was smiles welcoming fellow Order of the Phoenix and the Battle of Hogwarts.

Then questions and inquiries about conditions and the family, and after that these meetings became regular appointments to relieve each other's pain.

Each of them found a partner far from his private life who listened to the pain and sorrows of the other.

One time, Arthur insisted on driving her home.

She lived in a house in the village of Hogsmeade.

When the two arrived in front of the house, she said, "Why don't you come in and have some tea, Arthur? You seem tired from the ministry's work today." Arthur accepted the offer and enteredwith his friend her house.

Arthur said, "The ministry's work never ends, but what do we do? There is work, so there must be someone to do it."

She smiled at him understandingly and said, "I understand you well, Arthur. I don't know whether work increases over time or whether it is our energy that decreases over time." He sat in the living room and the woman went to prepare tea.

Arthur looked at the pictures hanging above the fireplace and at the wall full of books, then turned to find her coming with a tray full of tea cups and some biscuits.

Arthur smiled at her and thanked her, and their conversation continued for a few hours.

Then Arthur stood up to go to his house and the woman said, "Thank you, Arthur. Talking to you helps me a lot."

Arthur replied, "Don't exaggerate, my dear," and smiled.

They continued laughing for a while until the two fell silent and looked at each other and moved closer until they were only one centimeter away.

Then Arthur felt a strong desire to kiss her, so Arthur kissed her, and to Arthur's surprise, she in turn deepened the kiss.
