(Muffy is walking down the hallway, spotting the Ashleys)
Muffy: (excitedly) Oh, oh, oh! The Ashleys! I simply must introduce myself!
(Muffy runs over to the Ashleys, who are rolling their eyes)
Ashley A: (sarcastically) Great, another annoying little kid trying to be our friend.
Muffy: (ignoring their sarcasm) Hi, I'm Muffy Crosswire! My family is super rich, just like yours!
Ashley B: (unimpressed) So?
Muffy: (proudly) Well, I thought we could be friends! We have so much in common!
Ashley T: (skeptically) Like what?
Muffy: (excitedly) Well, we both like... um... expensive things!
Ashley A: (sarcastically) Wow, that's a really deep connection.
(The Ashleys start walking away, with Muffy following behind)
Muffy: (persistently) Wait, wait! Can't we be friends? I'll show you my designer clothes!
Ashley B: (exasperated) Muffy, we're 10. You're 8. It's not going to happen.
Muffy: (crushed) But... but I thought we had a connection...
Ashley Q: (firmly) Muffy, we appreciate the effort, but we don't want to be friends. Okay?
(Muffy looks dejected, realizing the Ashleys don't want to be friends with her)
Muffy: (deflated) Oh... okay...
(The scene ends with Muffy walking away, looking sad and rejected)
