《 Trigger Warning: Rape》
Upon arriving at the house where Tawny was staying, Erin approached with the intention of viewing a few pictures, despite a lingering sense of unease. Her primary goal was to apprehend the culprit and ensure they were brought to justice.
'Detective Lindsay,' Tawny greeted with confusion as she opened the door and noticed the female detective holding a folder with a surprised expression in her hazel eyes.
'Hey, is everything okay?' Erin inquired. The brunette was puzzled by the fact that the blonde wasn't in the hospital.
'Why did you leave the hospital?' she asked, observing Tawny's reaction closely. 'The nurse said I could,' Tawny replied with a shrug.
'Was I not supposed to?' Erin shook her head and smiled slightly. 'It's all right. Whose house is this?' she inquired, scanning the surroundings from outside. 'Crashing with a friend,' Tawny responded.
Erin nodded in understanding as she presented a folder she had been carrying. 'We have a lead, and I was wondering if you could assist me by examining some photographs,' she requested, hoping that Tawny could identify a suspect.
Tawny glanced over her shoulder and assented, 'Certainly. Please, come in.' The blonde opened the door wider to allow Erin to enter, ensuring that the female detective was the only one present before closing it. Erin trailed Tawny into the living room, removed her jacket, and laid it on the back of the couch.
《 Back At The District 》
Ruzek expressed his frustration with the Suburban as he sat back in his seat, indicating that the team had been searching for a lead for several hours. 'I have utilized all plate-reading programs available,' the blond stated with a disappointed shake of his head, 'but found no results.'
Antonio, engrossed in his computer screen, suddenly noticed a significant detail. 'Henley attended a semester at UW Madison,' he shared, pondering potential connections.
Antonio inquired about Spence's background, linking it to UW Madison, to which Al confirmed, 'That places them in the same vicinity.' The group was startled by Jay's reaction, prompting further investigation.
Jay then identified an apartment listing for Spence in Madison, examining the lease closely. 'Pay attention to the other name on the lease,' he directed the others, as Al leaned in to read the name aloud, 'Tawny Darrens.'
Jay instructed the surveillance team member, 'Mouse, please retrieve the security camera footage from the Cliffords' residence.' As Jay stood up from his chair, his heart rate increased with the hope that there had been a mistake.
'Please pause the video at this frame,' he directed, pointing at the individual with hair protruding from their helmet. 'Yes, now zoom in.'
Ruzek moved closer and furrowed his brow. 'Is that Tawny?' he inquired. 'It seems likely,' Al responded, glancing at the screen as he repositioned Tawny's image to the section labeled 'suspect.'
"Before we delve into this further, this young woman displayed clear indications of sexual assault and traces of nitrous oxide in her system,' Antonio stated, expressing his reluctance to accept the situation. Leaning against his desk, a sense of worry crept over him, especially with Erin's absence.
Ruzek grimaced. 'Are you suggesting she inflicted this upon herself?' He shook his head slowly. 'Did Tawny orchestrate the entire scenario?' Despite his disbelief, the evidence seemed to point towards her involvement.
Upon Spence's arrest, she immediately made a false report and her boyfriend was released. Ruzek responded, pivoting at the sound of fear in Jay's voice and informed them, 'Lindsay is currently with Tawny.'
Antonio swiftly retrieved his coat, prompting the rest to do the same, all deeply concerned about reaching their female detective and friend in a timely manner.
Al urgently messaged Voight to alert him of the situation, stating, 'Lindsay is in trouble,' and hurried to his vehicle with Ruzek taking the passenger seat, while Jay joined Antonio's SUV.
《 With Erin 》
Erin was seated on the sofa, observing the pictures and Tawny as she pointed at a brown-haired male. 'I remember he had darker hair than that,' she noted. Tawny confirmed with a nod, advising Erin to proceed at her own pace.
'That could be him,' Tawny remarked, surveying Cameron Spence and Ty Henley peeking out from behind a wall. Erin seemed puzzled by Tawny's actions until she felt a sudden impact on the back of her neck.
'Oh! Ahh!' she exclaimed as strong arms encircled her, muffling her cries. Despite her attempts to free herself, Erin found herself incapacitated. 'Mmm,' she groaned, perplexed as she observed Tawny maintaining a serene demeanor before losing consciousness upon defending herself against the assailant with a scratch.
Erin let out a groan as she slowly started to regain consciousness. She heard faint whispers outside the room she was in and, upon looking around, she realized she was in a bedroom tied to a bed with her arms behind her back and her feet secured.
Cameron stated, 'Let's just put a bullet through her head… get it over with,' while glancing at his partners who were with him in the hall.
Tawny reacted in shock, expressing her reluctance to be involved in such a serious crime as killing a police officer. Cameron responded to Tawny by pointing out that kidnapping was already a serious offense.
Ty, on the other hand, expressed his indifference towards Erin's fate but emphasized the urgency of leaving the premises. In light of the situation, Cameron suggested abandoning Erin as the most prudent course of action to avoid a confrontation with the authorities and the consequences of potential violence.
Following Tawny's nod and smirk, she uttered, 'She chokes before somebody finds her, then c'est la vie,' while casually scanning the room before turning her attention back to the others. Meanwhile, Cameron proceeded downstairs. 'I just need a minute,' stated Ty as he made his way towards the room occupied by the female detective.
Tawny's scoff was met with a smirk by him, and she queried, 'Are you serious?' before shaking her head with a smirk. Ty maintained his smirk as he glanced back at Tawny and remarked, 'Get out or watch. Up to you,' before entering the room and firmly closing the door with his foot.
《 With Jay and Antonio 》
Jay nervously bounced his leg as he thought about Erin, knowing that Antonio shared his anxiety. When his phone rang and he saw it was Mouse, he answered it.
'Lindsay's phone is still at the location,' Mouse said over the phone, indicating that Erin was still at the house, sending a shiver down their spines.
Jay nodded, 'All right, got it, thanks,' he said before hanging up and hitting the dashboard. 'Left on Wabash,' he said, as Antonio nodded and turned left.
《 With Erin 》
Erin emitted a few coughs and whimpered upon hearing the door being closed, attempting to free herself from her ties without success as the ropes remained immovable.
Approaching the distressed brunette with a smug expression and a knife in hand, Ty knelt on the bed, running his fingers through Erin's hair, and softly uttered, 'Relax.'
Despite her efforts to resist, Erin tried to shake him off, managing to hiss, 'Get off,' albeit muffled by the cloth in her mouth. Her breathing grew heavier as she screamed into the fabric while observing Ty walk towards the dresser.
As Ty consumed the drug, Erin winced, lowering her face into the pillows to evade his probing fingers. 'Shhh…' Ty murmured in her ear as she began to struggle against him, her mind racing to her team, hoping they would arrive before it was too late.
Erin emitted a cry as Ty swiftly removed her restraints, pulling off her shirt and then firmly tying her hands to the bed frame to grant himself greater accessibility. Subsequently, he proceeded to remove her jeans and underwear, untying her feet and flinging her boots to the other side of the room.
Sensing her feet loosen, Erin seized the opportunity to free her leg from his grip and forcefully kicked his abdomen, causing Ty to topple off the bed with a yelp. Despite falling to the floor temporarily, Ty swiftly regained his composure and, with a sinister chuckle, repositioned himself above Erin.
'You will face consequences for that, little girl,' he asserted as he struck her forcefully in the stomach and backhanded her across the face. Erin let out a muffled sound as he repeatedly struck her face until confirming she no longer resisted, at which point he proceeded to tighten his grip around her throat.
The female detective attempted to shake off Ty, but he tightened his grip around her neck as he proceeded to remove his jeans and boxers.
Glancing at Erin, he asked in a taunting manner, 'Ready for some fun?' He then forced himself inside her without warning, prompting Erin to scream in pain as he forcefully thrust in and out.
Despite her attempts to resist and push him away, the assailant persisted, intensifying his actions and tightening his grip around her neck, making it difficult for her to breathe. 'Oh fuck…,' he groaned as he continued to thrust more aggressively, his hand now also holding a knife while maintaining pressure on Erin's throat.
Jay and Antonio were the first responders at the scene, arriving just in time to hear the distressing screams from upstairs. Upon spotting two suspects fleeing the scene, Jay prepared to head upstairs while instructing Antonio, 'Go get Erin, Jay, I'll handle these two.'
Jay acknowledged his friend's departure to follow Tawny and Cameron, while he hurried upstairs, wincing with each scream Erin let out. He regretted not reaching her in time to prevent any harm from happening.
As he reached the room where Erin's distressing sounds were coming from, he disregarded Voight's communication through his radio.
Voight, concerned and frustrated about the unforeseen events, asked, "Halstead, do you have Erin?" Jay was aware of the older man's emotions. Upon entering the room, he saw Ty Henley on top of Erin.
Taking a deep breath, Jay demanded, "GET OFF OF HER, NOW!" while pointing his gun at Ty's head. Ty, with a smirk, told Jay to leave the room as he continued his actions with the female detective, who suddenly stopped moving, leaving Jay alarmed.
Jay commanded Ty to withdraw and step away from the woman, which resulted in Ty pulling the knife away from the brunette's neck with blood dripping from the tip.
Despite Ty attempting to push the blade into Erin's chest, Jay acted swiftly to prevent it. In a split second decision, Jay found himself reacting even before hitting the trigger, as he couldn't risk missing and hitting Erin in the process.
As Ty's lifeless body fell to the ground, Jay wasted no time in removing him from Erin's vicinity. With one suspect deceased, Jay communicated through the radio, acknowledging the situation.
Despite Voight inquiring about the need for a paramedic, Jay silenced the radio to concentrate on Erin, whose unresponsive gaze met his unwavering blue eyes.
Jay glanced at his companion who was gazing into space, feeling a lump in his throat. His eyes involuntarily drifted down her figure to assess the impact of Ty's actions on the petite woman.
Observing Erin's bruised face, blood trickling from her neck and stomach, he didn't need to look between the brunette's legs to know how bad it was.
The moment Erin's feeble voice called his name, Jay started, struggling to decipher her words. "C-Can you untie me?" she requested, wincing with each slight movement.
"Yes," he murmured, proceeding to release her restraints gradually. Upon detecting a presence behind him, Jay turned to find Antonio, the second-in-command, with a look of horror at the sight of Erin's battered form. "What happened to Ty?" Antonio demanded as he entered the room.
Jay indicated towards Ty's lifeless body on the floor and covered Erin's body to carry her out, while saying, 'Dead!' Antonio, assisting Jay, expressed his approval by stating, 'Good, because if he wasn't, I'd do it myself.'
They proceeded to make Erin comfortable in Jay's arms. Exiting the house, Jay carried Erin's limp body as her arms dangled, amidst the shocked gasps and upset voices of the team.
Upon Voight's urgent arrival, he inquired about the suspect's whereabouts. Jay reiterated, 'He's dead,' as he stood next to Gabby and Brett, mentioning that he took action before the suspect could harm Erin.
Jay boarded the ambulance before it departed, followed by Voight and the team, all determined to ensure that such a situation would not reoccur, despite not arriving in time to prevent the previous events.
